Is the Q and A thing still going ahead tonight? Anyone brave enough to ask Shi 2 when he intends to sack Rob?
Atmosphere will be very toxic, I feel, for the last home game, get the feeling that Jimenez will receive a nice welcome.

Will some of our players be booed every time they touch the ball? Think Toti may get some stick.
In saying this, maybe he won’t play as Rob says that some of the players have to go, expecting quite a few chances after his comments.

Announcing Nathan Shi as permanent chairman at this point is Fosun taking the p. out of every Wolves fan. The sooner they leave the better.

If SHi #1 doesn't put his finger in the pie, maybe there is some hope.

VP guided Forest to Premiership safety, helped by an unbeaten run of six games. Similar to our six game winning sequence last season under VP. That would have helped Wolves this season.

VP is part of the reason we're in this mess.

12 May 2026 08:26:29
Wait until he's had a transfer window or clashes with the Forest owner. A lot of the dross signed in the summer were supposedly his decisions, and most have been moved on already, as have his previous January signings.

We've ended up no better off under Edwards, but let's not think that VP was going to turn it around at Wolves.

VP is a prize pillock who kept Wolves in the Premier League because of JSL, Cunha, RAN, and Gomes, Andre and Munetsi at the top of their game. All the fixtures towards the end of the season fell in his favour: Also had two seriously gash teams go down, leaving him with only one relegation place to worry about. EVERYTHING fell for him.

Pre season and this season exposed him for why he is. The 'Leadership Group'. He's a secondhand car dealer masquerading as a football coach. Absolute ******.

VP is a chancer and definitely not an elite PL head coach. He was simply lucky to take over a Wolves squad containing some exceptional players. He never stays anywhere very long as he gets found out. First the points, then the slump, then the payoff.

12 May 2026 13:11:30
I'm not sure the players signed were VP's decisions. In fact, from what was reported, not a single player signed was VP's first choice, or even second for that matter. I am genuinely interested to see what happens with him next year at Forest, to see if he is found out, or if, like every manager before him, Jeff was in fact the real problem in that scenario.

Sacking Hobbs for Tetti looks beyond stupid, and yes, Tetti was VP's man, but that decision was still Jeff's to make, and it was a very poor decision.

I heard that the only player VP actually wanted was Jhon Arias. I also read that Tolu was not on VP's shopping list, but Jeff thought it best; anyone was better than no one. The problem is that VP and Edwards are head coaches. They provide the type of player they want, and the scouting/recruitment team find someone who fits and then presents them to the head coach, who then says Yay or nay.

A manager, on the other hand, identifies the players himself and then gets the scouts to compile the reports.

Hopefully Millwall won’t get promoted, and Wolves go in for Jake Cooper. Definitely one of the best centre backs in the Championship. Built like 10 brick ****houses, scores goals, and would be an ideal captain.

His age is immaterial - would be perfect for Wolves.

I imagine Jeff Shi follows this site, so get your ass into gear, Jeff, pick up the phone to your pal Nathan and put in a £4 million bid for Cooper.

Jake Cooper signed a new contract in Jan. There is not a chance they are selling their club captain for £4m just months after he's signed a new contract!

£4.1 will seal the deal. Type of player Wolves should be looking at. Certain he plays on the left. Can't rely on Toti.

Haha, well, if we are just making up numbers with no basis in reality, then I reckon £2.5m will seal the deal. See, I just saved us £1.5m. You're welcome. 🤣

Nobody in there right mind is going to return to Wolves. It's over now shi 2
Running the club with Fosun.

I think there's a Q&A Fans Forum on WM tomorrow with Shi & RE. Might be worth a listen before we all get too despondent.

Nathan Shi has been appointed executive chairman of Wolves on a permanent basis.

0

11 May 2026 18:47:25
Sixteen points won from 19 games since Nathan took over from Jeff as interim chairman.

11 May 2026 18:55:40
Didn't the captain of the Titanic get appointed on a permanent basis too?

1

11 May 2026 18:56:06
Once a Shi, always a Shi. It's still parasitic Fosun!

2

11 May 2026 20:24:32
Doesn't Nathan answer to the CEO of Fosun Sports Group? Who is that? That's right, Jeff Shi. But Jeff Shi doesn't have any influence over the day-to-day running of the club. He just has the final say on everything.

Fosun needs to get rid of Jeff Shi. Full stop. Maybe then Nathan's words will have an impact, because at the moment he is just the mouthpiece of Jeff, but without the hatred from the fans.

It's also a coincidence that this was announced the day before the Fans Forum. I think it's been done so that Fosun can say that they've taken action by appointing Nathan.

Best of luck, Nathan. I sincerely hope you try and change things, but as long as Jeff Shi is linked to the club in some way, shape, or form, I think you'll struggle.

Serious question: Is Shi mk2 Interim CEO or has his position been made permanent?

11 May 2026 18:06:50
Sa.
Lima, Pond, Djiga, Toti.

R. Gomes, Doyle, Bellegarde, Lopez.

Mane, Armstrong.

How far off will this be for the first game.
In the Championship?

Toti not a lb.

11 May 2026 18:23:37
Hello Greylegwolf, for me, I would like to see us keep Krejci. We probably won't. 442, I would prefer. Sorry to be negative, but I don't want to keep Toti. We have Traore coming back, I think, maybe:
New GK, Lima, Santi, Krejci, Bueno,
R. Gomes, New CM, B. Traore, New LW, Mane, Jimenez.
New manager, please.

2

11 May 2026 18:24:44
Sa and Lopez will 100% not be here.

It will be Bentley, Lima, Djiga, Toti, New LB, Traore, Doyle, Rodrigo, Hwang, Armstrong, Sasa.

1

11 May 2026 18:25:16
It's now permanent! It appears this club learns nothing from their previous mistakes.

2

11 May 2026 18:25:42
Division 1 guaranteed with that side, in my opinion, Greyleg.
I assume Re is still the manager, which will definitely help.

2

11 May 2026 18:13:59
I'm thinking it's irrelevant Ron, just window dressing. Jeff is still calling the shots. Just wish we could get rid of these leeches that have destroyed our club.
Just been announced that Shi mk2 is official, means nothing.

1

11 May 2026 18:33:57
I agree, Oxleymoorwolf. At least 7 or 8 new faces to give us a fighting chance of survival. Pointless trying to guess next season's starting line up.

1

12 May 2026 14:12:57
Couldn't agree more, Oxley and 47. A different team is needed, and, unfortunately, the trust in the Shi's and Fosun just isn't there.

0

11 May 2026 15:32:30
I've said it before. I'll say it again: the problem with Rob Edwards is he is too nice and the players have taken advantage of that. Good on him for calling them out, but in this business nice guys rarely make it, sadly.

11 May 2026 12:34:09
Many saying Foson spent money but the players didn’t provide the quality we needed. So I shall repeat my previous point and that is we need someone with sound football knowledge and experience to be in charge of all football issues. That includes recruitment and development. Recruiting the manager/head coach and those running the academy. Let Shi run the club, all the stadium development and revenue development, but please get someone else to run the football side.

I don’t care what his title is or who he played for, but he must have proven ability. I’d seriously consider Southgate or even Roy Keane. Not to manage or coach but to identify the right players. That’s got to be worth a million a year.

1

11 May 2026 14:14:18
Agree with you, Nandi. The fish rots from the head, and the key reason we are in so much trouble is that Jeff Shi had no football knowledge, but thought he could alienate/get rid of those that did, and run the show himself. As things stand, there is very little football knowledge at the top of the club, and for this reason, I am deeply pessimistic about prospects for next season.

We need a clear out and excellent recruitment in the summer. Do we have anyone capable of masterminding that? I fear we don't.

4

11 May 2026 16:20:20
Totally agree, Nando, but didn't the club/Fosun say that they wanted to employ a football-savvy CEO as well, as Nathan Shi was only a temporary appointment?
However, that may have been just part of the bs to quell the fans' protests, a bit like the resurrection of talk of ground redevelopment and so on.
