Poor performance yesterday although I didn't think there was much between us and Boro.
Without Lopez we don't have any creativity, R. Gomes looked decent first half but apart from him we didn't look likely to ever score.
Brief improvement after subs but still a struggle, did Armstrong play thought we had decided to play with 10.

Only 1 game and plenty to go but worrying to see us without Lopez and Raul.
Think we all knew we needed another striker, just hope Armstrong improves and Neave can play more. 🤞.

Did i see right someone asked "why was Said playing?"
Said was making things happen, not quite the finished product yet but he is just returning from injury.
Doyle send him back to Birmingham said it time and time again he is rubbish.
Need to start getting James in midfield alongside Andre.
I'm not sure I can defend Armstrong anymore either he is a trier yes but he can not play lone striker doesn't help that the players are trying to use him as a target player.


Should've kept Sasa and i'm going to ruffle feathers here Hwang too.
We have the players just not the solutions.
For me Mane needs to be in that AM role he is not a winger.

I'm actually not happy with Armstrong either at the moment every time he is on the ball he either gives it away or tries some magic that he can't do. I think play him with neave for now as support.

Why on earth did we borrow Neave ? If he can't get in to that team send him back. We are playing without a striker and he is sitting watching, it's obvious the manager plays his favourites even making one captain.

We are such a shoddy run club, lack of real investment in the summer window will take its toll. Love the Wolves but boy do they make it hard.

I thought Said did pretty well when he came on. He was unlucky when the ref booked him for diving when he was fouled. Looked to take his man on and put a decent ball in which you would have hoped a "striker" at least would be there.

Never rated Doyle from day 1 and should not get ahead of any other midfielder in that squad.

Have to agree i think Hwang would have got his mojo back. Armstrong works well off the ball but poor on it. Did well to close down the goalkeeper and took forever to do something then decided to pass it back to the keeper. Same as his chance near the end when his shot was a pass back.

When Mane beat that 1 player and then crossed the ball into the top stand pretty much sums him up. He rarely helps defend and when he does it is half hearted defending. Drop the lad and make him work.

That result has to be a reality check for Peixoto. Tommy Doyle cannot start games for Wolves. He was so poor. Chasing round trying to grab arms and shirts because he's too slow. Trying to tell other players what to do when he's not good enough to do what he's tasked with. A truly dreadful performance.

I would say it was a typical post international break result for Wolves. They could play Bilston Town after an international break and struggle. Slogging all the way up to Boro was always going to be a nightmare.

However, Peixoto got his tactics wrong in that game. Starting Doyle in the 10 role was nonsensical. You think of the team first. You don't put the teachers pet in when he's clearly not good enough to start games. He was so out of his depth against Boro, it was painful to watch.

I also think a few players had too much time off and looked off the pace.

If Wolves don't go up this season the buck stops with Fosun and no one else. Having Armstrong and an inexperienced 19-yr-old lad on loan as back up to a 35-yr-old Jimenez will likely cost Wolves this season.

After all the harrumphing and gushing about Bellegarde, he's showing that he's too inconsistent to start games for Wolves. Simply put, he's not very good.

As someone said, we've played West Ham and Boro and lost both games. I'd be very surprised if Wolves finish in the top two.

Both away and neither of them looked miles above us. We will lose games as will every team. We poorly invested in the prem, we came down, get over it. The squad we have is good enough to challenge for a top 2 in this league.

Moby should have bought a striker Armstrong isnt that good. Now Jimenez is injured nobody to score goals plus why cant James start. James voted best player in champ last season but sits on bench. Hopefully get the win on Tues against Bolton then Burnley on Friday 6 points table will look a lot better.

Armstrong is getting better, he had a shot on goal !!!He also won the ball from their player!!! Unfortunately he did absolutely nothing else. We played with 10 men again.

The big difference with us & boro/west ham is boro got lankshire who's scoring on a regular basis & west ham got bowen. We've got raul who could be out for a while & Armstrong who's not scoring at all. You simply cannot play in this division & expect to go up unless you've got a goalscorer. I would play neave & mane just behind him. James has to be in the side. Sorry but munetsi runs a lot. bellegarde. Doyle. & Armstrong should be benched for next game. I don't think they're good enough. I do think if boro & west ham lose lankshire and bowen for any length of time they'll struggle.

And i most certainly don't think we should have let sasa go cus I think he'd score in this division. Thomo said yesterday after the match that we attempted 19 crosses & 16 didn't beat the 1st man. If that's true it's dreadful reading cus in theory it means you could have haaland in the box but he wouldn't do any good if they can't find him. So bolton home could be a banana skin & burnley away ( where we don't turn up usually) to come next so 6 points is a must if we're serious about promotion. I can't see it but I'd love to be wrong especially as I can't stand either of them 2.

The whole team looked like they had no energy and it was sluggish but i kind of expected that from the likes of Fer and Bellegarde. Fer had a knock from International and Bellegarde played more minutes than expected considering he has just returned from injury.

Wolves were dreadful. That was a brutal watch. So many poor performances it's hard to single out individuals. However, I'll say that Tommy Doyle is nowhere near good enough to start games for Wolves. He's too slow and too weak. On at least two occasions his poor reaction times stopped Wolves moving forward. The Boro midfield were running rings around him.

Peixoto made too many tactical errors in that game. I thought 100% he would start Mane in the 10 role and Said on the left. Let Said burn himself out and then make changes. Mane is a 10, so with Lopez out give him a chance to play in his preferred position. Putting Doyle in the 10 role away to Boro is diabolical.

I genuinely don't think Wolves can make the top two. For me, West Ham, Southampton and Boro will be too strong and too consistent.

We never seemed like anywhere near scoring.
Changes should have come straight after half time. Same old predictable style.

It's not one loss. It's the manner of the defeat. Wolves were shocking. They offered almost nothing going forward and the team showed that without key players goals will be impossible to come by.

Peixoto made a huge mistake playing Tommy Doyle in the 10 role. That is worrying.

At least the fans coming out in force to complain after one loss have something to say, instead of waiting for those messages and leaving snide replies.

Your right B Hill,you can't play well every week! But you can put a performance in!! Playing 100% 1 week then reverting back to 40% will not get us promoted, neither will not having a physical presence up front!

As the great Bill Shankly once said, it's not losing that worries me, but it's the way we lost that's the big concern. Sorry Bill, but the fan's who you say are moaning are really concerned as am I. I told my mate after our defeat to West ham that my jury is still out on this manager & its not cus we lost it's because his selection of Doyle and Armstrong are worrying.

Let the kid neave have a go & put Mane in the 10 role & see what happens becuase it can't be as bad as yesterday.

Put away chances and not be a calamity in defence and if we don't do that from now on you can forget automatic promotion and more likely forget the playoffs,this is going to be a tough championship season and teams in this league need to see us as a threat, unfortunately at the moment the way we are playing teams are seeing us as a chance to knick points both home and away!
