Apparently Wolves scouts were very recently at a Porto vs Alverca game. Does anyone have an idea as to who the club might be looking at?
1.) 06 May 2026 19:19:35
Some clown wrote that they were watching Chiquinho and Meupiyou. But I think they were watching Marezi and Figueiredo.
2.) 06 May 2026 19:34:46
Thanks, Good. ?

James Tavernier being looked at by Wolves, according to Liam Keen. Must be a solid rumour for Keene to do a write up in the E&S.
100% would be a decent signing. Ideal captain. Also the perfect age if Wolves plan on using a young RB alongside him - namely Pedro Lima.
1.) 29 Apr 2026 15:25:36
Not sure why you'd have a right back alongside a right back, Noisy. He's got a good goals/assists record, but is 35 in October, and let's not forget which league he's been playing in.
2.) 29 Apr 2026 16:38:28
You know what I mean, Old Wulf. Play Tavarnier with him, knowing that Lima is going to get games. Perfect set up. Plus, Wolves need a solid captain. If they stick with having a leadership team, or whatever it's called, at least James Tavarnier is a proper skipper.
Is Tavarnier a Rb or are Wolves going to keep sticking to the dreadful soul sucking five at the back?
3.) 29 Apr 2026 17:50:01
Jesus wept, I keep adding words when typing on my phone. Meant to say, play JT at right back, with the intention of bringing Lima into the team more and more. I assume Wolves want to keep Hugo Bueno as the main left back, with Toti able to cover.
4.) 29 Apr 2026 19:26:37
Not going to happen. The report states that Wolves are 'considering' Tavernier. They may well consider, but because he has actual experience, they will decide that he doesn't fit the up and coming player they now want to sign.
5.) 29 Apr 2026 20:08:19
We've been down that road before, not sure. I want to see us with stop gap players again.

Hopefully Millwall won’t get promoted, and Wolves go in for Jake Cooper. Definitely one of the best centre backs in the Championship. Built like 10 brick ****houses, scores goals, and would be an ideal captain.
His age is immaterial - would be perfect for Wolves.
I imagine Jeff Shi follows this site, so get your ass into gear, Jeff, pick up the phone to your pal Nathan and put in a £4 million bid for Cooper.
1.) 12 May 2026 13:21:06
Jake Cooper signed a new contract in Jan. There is not a chance they are selling their club captain for £4m just months after he's signed a new contract!
2.) 12 May 2026 13:47:03
£4.1 will seal the deal. Type of player Wolves should be looking at. Certain he plays on the left. Can't rely on Toti.
3.) 12 May 2026 14:11:50
Haha, well, if we are just making up numbers with no basis in reality, then I reckon £2.5m will seal the deal. See, I just saved us £1.5m. You're welcome. ?

I am not Rob Edwards's biggest fan. I have slated him on here many times. I don't like his football, and I don't think he'll ever be a Premier League manager. However, I can see that the squad of players he has to work with are absolute ****ing dog****. Aside from Hugo and Santi Bueno, Adam Armstrong, and possibly Joao Gomes, the rest of the players are either woefully out of their depth in the PL, or they have stinking attitudes, or both. Jose Sa is Wolves' No.1; he is barely a PL goalkeeper, and one of the worst distributors of the ball I've ever seen. Toti plays like he's wearing wellies filled with custard. Mosquera is a lunatic who can barely defend. Tchatchoua is one of the worst players I've ever seen. Tolu is a lazy donkey. Hwang should have been sold years ago. Joao Gomes and Andre are the same player. Andre too often falls asleep during games. Doherty is too old. Lima is still a kid. Johnstone is dreadful, so is Bentley. It goes on and on. There is barely a Championship squad of players, never mind a PL team.
As I've said, take away Mane catching everyone by surprise, I don't think Wolves would have surpassed Derby's points total.
People on here are saying Krejci can hold his head high. Krejci has been **** for most of the season. He's missed too many games, he's been poor in too many games, and he cost Wolves the game vs Palace. He was overpriced when he came in, and he can't wait to **** off. Great professional.
Fosun, Jeff Shi, Vitor Pereira and Domenico Teti have sunk Wolves - not Rob Edwards.
Fosun has to back Rob Edwards. They have to stop sacking managers. I'm glad he's spitting back because the clowns who are representing him on the pitch week in and week out are putting his job at risk, and they couldn't care less.
Wolves fans need to get real. The club is a mess from top to bottom. Replacing the manager at this stage and for the foreseeable future is a waste of time.
1.) 11 May 2026 10:55:11
What's the actual answer then, Mangle, cause if you think we are going to be able to trade 15-20 odd players in just one window then I'm afraid you are in for a shock! Rob has to be able to play the hand he has, rather than just moaning about how bad it is.
I agree with the fact that Fosun have to start backing the manager, however I fear that it's more important to have the correct manager in the first place. When Edwards went down with Luton, they were in free fall and remained in it until Xmas, when they were in the relegation zone and sacked him.
Well, they never managed to get themselves out of it and were subsequently relegated two seasons in a row. Can anyone honestly look at the absolute mess we are in and say they can't see the exact same thing happening again? Worth noting here that Rob's ppm since arriving at our place is very similar to his ppm tally at Luton, when you actually look at the numbers and squads, the many similarities should concern most Wolves fans, to be honest.
2.) 11 May 2026 12:26:05
Nathan Shi needs to do the same as Jeff Shi did all them years ago. Sack the manager and bring in a new man and a completely new backroom, so the players who remain do not have a friendly face to go to. Nuno did that when he came in. All the coaching team were moved on, and it worked.
09 May 2026 16:58:45
That's me done with Wolves for this season. See everyone next year. I can't suffer anymore of that sh!te. It's the worst football I've seen Hoddle.
Tragedy is Fosun ain't getting rid of Edwards. ****ing **** Jeff Shi. Guy is football cancer.
09 May 2026 14:49:33
If Middlesbrough don't get promoted and keep that team together, they're one decent striker away from walking the 26/27 Championship.
Forget punching their way out of the Championship, Wolves might struggle to slap their way into the play offs.
1.) 09 May 2026 15:09:23
Omg, 2 nil down after 5 minutes. What a shower and shambles our great club is.
I totally don't feel sorry for players, manager. Club officials, I just feel so sorry for all us fans. This is nothing less than disgusting.
2.) 09 May 2026 15:14:51
On the beach at Brighton. Still, it's a nice afternoon!
3.) 09 May 2026 15:23:19
It is not Rob's fault!! He only takes them for training all week and picks the team. For the life of me, I do not understand why some of the young uns are not blooded and given a chance.
I hope all these Edwards fans can see he is not fit to be the coach, and the players, most of em, are not fit to wear the shirt. And, as for the owners, the future looks bleak.
4.) 09 May 2026 15:34:26
They won't get rid. He'll be given a chance in the Championship, but that could be disastrous for us.
5.) 09 May 2026 15:35:03
As it stands, we will be lucky to survive in the Championship.
Utter dross, up to now.
Surely, if it gets more embarrassing, he must go.
6.) 09 May 2026 15:41:19
The sooner Edwards goes, the better. He's beaten any attacking intent out of Mane and co.
7.) 09 May 2026 16:47:37
Get ready for League 1.
03 May 2026 20:43:01
Well, that shock win for Spurs will almost certainly send West Ham down. Personally I wouldn't want Nuno back but I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up back up at Wolves.
1.) 04 May 2026 08:49:09
What an underperformance from the vile tho noisy? Emery was static and showed little enthusiasm in his body language; his facial expression was one of dissatisfaction and frustration. I began to think maybe he'd been asked to be lenient. But the powers that be wouldn't want Spurs to have any advantage in staying up, would they?
Seriously, Villa we're worse than us, lack lustre, not closing down, misplacing, Spurs on the other hand were up for it, energetic and pressing on every ball.
Re, take note.
Not a great watch as a game.
As for Nuno, it'd be pure romance if he were to return, but I can't see it happening. He'd be hard pressed to achieve what he did before and with Fosun here I don't think he'd relish it.
2.) 04 May 2026 10:31:18
Many a true word said in jest,
I've noticed this for ages, it's even in snooker now, watching the tournament from the crucible, seems like everyone wants the chinese players to win
And the shots their opponents have missed, to set them up for a frame,
Well Stevie Wonder could av potted them
Seems everything is pre determined to a certain extent,
09 May 2026 13:28:36
Amorim? Him and his coaches will want about £12 million per year - and they'll all be plotting their exit strategy from day one. Wolves had the chance to get Nuno back - and he wanted to come back - but Wolves didn't want to spend the money.
06 May 2026 19:34:46
Thanks, Good. ?
04 May 2026 19:42:22
Well said, Good.
03 May 2026 20:44:47
I can see Rui Pedro as interim until Nuno comes back. Imagine once again raiding the Mendes player bin.
02 May 2026 20:40:31
Wilfried Zaha? If Wolves are looking at him, then the club is bang in trouble. I think he started playing when Jesus was in short pants. His first pair of boots was signed by John the Baptist.
If the rumours are anything to go by, Wolves' first team next season will have cost the club about £18.50 and have an average age of 36.
12 May 2026 13:47:03
£4.1 will seal the deal. Type of player Wolves should be looking at. Certain he plays on the left. Can't rely on Toti.
12 May 2026 10:49:34
VP is a prize pillock who kept Wolves in the Premier League because of JSL, Cunha, RAN, and Gomes, Andre and Munetsi at the top of their game. All the fixtures towards the end of the season fell in his favour: Also had two seriously gash teams go down, leaving him with only one relegation place to worry about. EVERYTHING fell for him.
Pre season and this season exposed him for why he is. The 'Leadership Group'. He's a secondhand car dealer masquerading as a football coach. Absolute ******.
10 May 2026 19:55:59
Burnley are a much better side than Wolves. Mateus Mane is the only reason why Wolves are on the points total they are. I know he's fallen off a cliff now, but without him, I don't think Wolves' PL points would be in double figures. The glaringly obvious 'Mane effect' will show that Mane beat West Ham 3-0; Mane drew Everton 1-1, and Mane drew Arsenal 2-2. Five points in three games.
This current Wolves team is as bad as the team that went down to League One. Maybe Rob Edwards isn't playing the kids because they're not good enough, and a 'fans' picked team of nippers pinging the ball about would turn a 3-0 loss into 7-0.
Wolves fans are seeing things that aren't there - because they want Rob Edwards sacked. People are gushing over how good Burnley are, then stating that they're not much better than Wolves. The closeness in points means nothing - Mane gave the team most of those points. Maybe Mane's not a diva, maybe he's calling out pros who lack in every single department - and their fragile egos can't handle the truth from a kid.
10 May 2026 16:33:43
Who does he pick? The entire squad, bar a couple of players, is utter s***. There's no squad depth at all. There's nothing.
Imagine having RE's job and looking at the bench when you need to shake things up. The last time I remember seeing such a rubbish squad, completely devoid of quality, is when they went down to League One.
10 May 2026 15:05:53
According to many Rangers fans, Nasser Djiga is d***s***. Another right-footed CB the club didn't need, who cost Wolves too much money.
