Fosun are open to selling Wolves to the right buyer - rumour so take with a very large pinch of salt.

Rated RKO

1.) 10 Sep 2026 19:42:49
Rated, that was on a report by Kieran, forgot last name. If Wolves are back in the PL, they could sell. If back in the PL, Fuson are looking at 450 mill to 500 mill to sell, but at that price who's going to buy.

Molenuex needs a lot of work or rebuilt, which takes money, and 150mill to 200mill on transfers in. And, that's just staying in the PL. Look at Ipswich, Hull and Coventry, how much have they spent.

2.) 10 Sep 2026 21:30:39
If Wolves go up, it might, with a very strong following wind, get someone to pay close to that - although I would assume that would have to include the re-payment of the inter-company debt, i.e. Fosun get circa £250m for the equity and their debt repaid - but this would be an astonishing sale cf the values of other Premier League clubs.
Under any normal valuation methodology, of course, Wolves are worth nothing like those figures, but football is weird and, of course, as I have discussed previously, the accounts may not tell a true picture of the returns the owners have been making from Wolves.

However, if Wolves don't go up, then all bets are off, and Wolves' valuation will plummet, and I doubt they will get anything for the equity and may have to take pennies in the pound on their debt to get out.
This, as discussed before, is therefore a one season window to retain respectability.
However, as explained by Acle in a post earlier on today, the club was - despite statements to the contrary by Mr Shi, who either is incompetent or was simply not telling the truth - in no position to do much more about it than it did this summer.

3.) 10 Sep 2026 23:38:06
Thanks Dmac and Future, I saw it on X, hence the take with a large pinch of salt part.

4.) 12 Sep 2026 00:40:50
This manager will absolutely not take Wolves up. He plays with a 2 man midfield, & doesn't seem to understand that one of our full backs is the worst full back I've seen in Gold and Black for over 59 years.

He's clueless about what to do when West Ham & Blues come at us. For me, Munetsi & Andre are not working. Jo James has to start, & keep that full back & Doyle away from the first team.

5.) 12 Sep 2026 14:05:21
Lex, what are you on about, two-man midfield? Also, we've had only 5 games this season, and have looked decent, playing attacking football, so surely too early to judge if he's a good or bad manager, and if we're gonna lose, at least it's entertaining.

6.) 12 Sep 2026 15:09:53
Two-man midfield - Munetsi and Andre. It ain't working. James has to come in for Munetsi. What's the point in having one of our best players on the bench?

7.) 12 Sep 2026 17:13:56
Munetsi will always split fans. He isn't an amazing technical midfielder, but he could be like N'Diaye that got us promoted in 2018. He works hard, covers ground, and chips in with a few goals; that's his role. Traore, the cm, is also similar in that, if fit, he can be useful.

JJ doesn't start one, as I don't think he is 100% fit right now. He will be eased back. But also, the midfield have completely lost focus at 60 minutes in most games this season, so JJ is needed.

8.) 12 Sep 2026 17:30:38
I quite often see people type Fuson instead of Foson, and I don't know whether I'm missing a joke lol.

9.) 12 Sep 2026 18:17:25
Sounds great in theory, but the mitigating factors are: N'Diaye could pass a ball, Munetsi can't pass a ball. He was abject against Blues.

10.) 13 Sep 2026 15:35:49
Yes, it's Fosun.
And, it's Molineux.

Otherwise, that was a difficult watch. I haven't screamed so hard for a goal in a long time, but it doesn't paper over the cracks.

Fosun out.
Fuson out.
Foson out.

Santi Bueno has not been included in the 25 squad members.
It is expected he'll move somewhere where the transfer window is still open.

Rated RKO

1.) 09 Sep 2026 08:24:02
Let us hope he finds a club who think he is as good as he thinks he is.

2.) 09 Sep 2026 15:33:00
Yep, his attitude has backfired on him.

3.) 10 Sep 2026 06:22:34
Just a shame the Owners and manager couldn't persuade him to
stay.

04 Sep 2026 19:23:34
Wolves turned down PSV Eindhoven loan offer plus £18m obligation to buy for Ladislav Krejci on Wednesday.

Dutch window now closed and Wolves confirm Krejci will not be leaving the club despite other windows still open.

Rated RKO

1.) 04 Sep 2026 21:55:36
It just seems crazy that these clubs are offering so much below what we paid for him just a couple of months ago. I realise we paid top end for him, but why on earth would the club want to give away a player for £8m less than the fee we are still paying off for him?! It does make you wonder how hard he was pushing for a move.

Thank goodness we said no. ?

2.) 04 Sep 2026 23:09:04
It also appears we didn't seem interested in selling Mane. According to what I've just read, we could have sold him if we wanted to. Is that a sign the club are trying to keep some of our assets?

I know we didn't get many new faces in, but as someone pointed out, with the likes of Lopez back and looking good, we have got some newish players making the first team.

Also, keeping Krejic is positive; if we get the defence right, we could do well this season.

3.) 05 Sep 2026 13:37:13
They test the water, Bullysboy.

They know Krejci will be on high wages, so they test whether we have our finances in order.

If you are Monaco, you needed to make an extra £47m to balance the books, so you were desperate to sell Balogun or Camara.

If Krejci was being disruptive, maybe a club would take an £8m fee for short-term balancing of the books, and it's practically his wages over 5 years.

Wolves have never been in this position. Just saying, if the player was acting like Tolu, most clubs cut their losses, as it gives the club a bad reputation to potential players, whilst also annoying the fan base, like the bomb squad under Jackett.

4.) 05 Sep 2026 16:56:26
Think Boro made the signing of the window. Lankshear scoring for fun. Boro will definitely go up if he doesn't have a bad injury.

01 Sep 2026 23:57:58
Wolves set to sign Ghislain Konan and Sean Neave as their two late additions.

Both players likely to be unveiled tomorrow if all goes well.

I thought the loan window closed at the same time as the transfer window.

2.) 02 Sep 2026 06:03:40
Konan can be signed as he is a free agent.
Unless the paperwork was signed before the deadline, Neave isn't coming in. The transfer window, including loan moves between clubs, closed at 11pm yesterday.

3.) 02 Sep 2026 08:35:16
Sky Sports reporting Neave deal done.

4.) 02 Sep 2026 09:29:11
I'll believe it when it's officially announced. No one else seems to be reporting it yet.

5.) 02 Sep 2026 15:28:07
You were saying, Goodwhileitlasted?

6.) 02 Sep 2026 22:44:12
I stand corrected. But, I still think Fosun are taking us fans for mugs. Just my opinion.

01 Sep 2026 23:54:48
Wolves set to sign Ivory Coast international free agent Ghislain Konan.

Left-back worked with Cesar Peixoto at Gil Vicente last season & will be the replacement for David Moller Wolfe.

Much needed 3 points and a clean sheet, but need to do much better.

Rated RKO

1.) 13 Sep 2026 15:30:50
Agree Rated, good to get 3 points, but too early to say if we can make a prolonged challenge.

08 Sep 2026 03:10:32
We can't keep changing managers, terminating contracts costs a few million, which in turn affects our transfer budget, though with Fosun in charge I use the term transfer budget very loosely.

Rated RKO

1.) 08 Sep 2026 10:15:54
How much it is costing to be out of the Premier League is the question Fosun should be asking?
Agree, there is no point changing manager without the financial backing of the owners, even though there are some good managers available.

2.) 08 Sep 2026 12:00:17
Exactly Wandering Stars, mate, you would've thought relegation would've been the kick up the backside Fosun needed, but it seems not.

3.) 08 Sep 2026 12:21:21
Sacking Cesar Peixoto would be insanity in the extreme. I would turn my back on Wolves. I'm already near to the end of the road with Fosun. Sacking CP would be the final straw.

The incessant sacking of head coaches has to stop, because it creates a situation where people are becoming head coaches in order to be sacked.

4.) 08 Sep 2026 15:19:43
What's this all about? Have I missed something?

5.) 08 Sep 2026 19:03:26
No, Old Wulf, mate, just me rambling a bit, but some on X are already calling to sack him.

Would like to see some positivity from the owners and CEO.
They're not saying much while making a profit in the transfer window.

3.) 06 Sep 2026 10:42:43
There are 2 distinct issues regarding positivity.

Cesar Peixoto has clearly changed the playing style, intensity, and work rate of the players he inherited, and therefore there is no negativity towards him or most of the squad.

However, Fosun came out in the fans' forum and promised so much, but delivered so little. My negativity is towards the ownership and how they hold us fans in contempt.

4.) 06 Sep 2026 10:54:05
Indeed.
Nathan! Nathan Nathan!!!!
Plus tens of thousands of loyal Wolves fans hear from you!
Personally.
Not Mark or either, you!
You got good support and reaction from most of us initially, after the very dire Jeff years.
You made decisions and statements early, and similarly with the sacking of the manager and appointment of the new one, with a lot of support then.
But, you know how most of us feel, and have voiced that.

Not all in agreement, naturally. ?
But, through all the pre and long transfer window and since, I don't think there have been any, at least major or significant statements, revelations, or direction from you at all.
Why?
Please, do not let these be the bad old days Mk 2 s***.
You're the man. Do it!
Speak to us! Now.
It's no fun being a Wolves mushroom (if you don't know the saying/joke, I'm sure someone will fill you in). ?

5.) 06 Sep 2026 11:03:47
What did they actually promise? To push for promotion asap? Is that not what we are doing? Keeping the majority of our prem experienced players and young talent, which they must deem able to push to get back in the prem. Burnley sold a lot of their players over the summer, and look where they are currently.

6.) 06 Sep 2026 11:16:02
This is what he said:

In previous seasons we always bought players very late in the last week of August, where the premium is super high, and some players come here with zero minutes of Premier League experience.

They don't work well, so, in November, we change the coach. In the winter, we spend even more money trying to recover from the problem, while, on the other hand, we need to pay the Financial Fair Play, so that's a lot of burden on the club.

We are trying very hard to solve this problem about buying players late in the market, and this is definitely not acceptable.

We want to have a team well prepared to go to our pre-season, so we do have enough time for the players to train with each other, because there is definitely going to be a lot of new faces this year.

He added: "I don't want the players to view Wolves as just one stop in their career, so if they play well we can get them to City or United, and if they don't play well, we can still sell them somewhere else.

As I said, I have no issues with Cesar Peixoto, who I think is doing a decent job, but it seems that Fosun, despite saying that they wanted to get players in early as they know that getting them in at the end of the window doesn't work, decided to get the players in at the end of the window."

Jose Sa has signed a new contract.

With his previous deal due to expire at the end of the season, our number one is now committed until 2028.

Rated RKO

1.) 04 Sep 2026 15:33:45
Good news.
With the security of the new contract, he can now knuckle down and prove himself to be the best keeper in the Championship.
We also need to get Krecji up to speed asap, and into the team in place of Toti, who, frankly, is not good enough.

2.) 04 Sep 2026 16:06:18
We can but hope - Peixoto seems to fancy Toti for some very strange reason.

3.) 04 Sep 2026 16:41:40
There must be something Toti is doing in training, as all the managers seem to like him and even give him the armband. I'd like to get the managers' say on it; it would be interesting. How can they not see the same Toti we see?

4.) 04 Sep 2026 18:16:55
Trip to Specsavers? ?

5.) 04 Sep 2026 18:22:46
Kieran Trippier to Specsavers? Who are they, what league are they in. ???

Wolves are in talks to sign free agent winger Bertrand Traore.

The Burkina Faso international spent last season with Sunderland & is set to become Cesar Peixoto's latest new arrival.

With the squad currently at max capacity, an impending exit is likely.

Here you go, mate. I'll just add to your post rather than start a new one.
