Apparently Disasi looks like joining West Ham from Chelsea on loan. With a chance that Agbadou may be on his way out of Wolves would it be a good idea to get Max Kilman back on loan? My wishful thinking.
1.) 02 Feb 2026 17:06:55
No thank you. Kilman was very much like Toti Gomes. Made to look better by playing alongside someone like Craig Dawson.
2.) 02 Feb 2026 17:12:17
Disasi is exactly the sort of player Wolves should have had lined up on January 1st. Along with a forward and rwb.
With regards to Kilman it wouldn't be a bad loan but I can't see it happening.
As Kilman is seen as an important player by Nuno regardless of West Ham fan views.
I may be wrong but can't see them loaning a player out that could be important when they are so short at the back.
3.) 02 Feb 2026 17:30:02
47
Agbadou has the highest ceiling of those 3. Sadly he also appears to have the lowest floor.
But for me the best outcome would be to keep Agbadou and hope that in a more calm environment he can recover his form
In the Champ he and Krejci would totally dominate.
With Larsen fetching more than anticipated my dream outcome would be for Wolves to somehow persuade the 5 best players to stay - sell the dross and one or two others who have to go to make the numbers add up add the 3 proposed players for £7m, £7m and £8m respectively.
Line up
Sa, Yerson, Agbadou, Krejci, Buneo H, Andre, Gomes J, Gomes A, Mane, Adams and Armstrong.
Bench Bennet, Lima, Doc, Bueno S, Gomes T, Bellegarde, Gomes R and Sasa.
Sold Larsen £43, Tolu 20, Fer Lopez 15, Munetsi 15, Traore 10, Doyle 10, Hwang 10, Wolfe 10, Jackson 10, Arias 10, Djiga 5 and Johnstone 5
The finances are just about balanced and the team would be very very strong in the Champ with Adams and Armstrong probably a fair bit better than Tolu and Hwang and Gomes G giving a better balance to the side.
My wishful thinking!
4.) 02 Feb 2026 18:24:10
Wouldn't that be five Gomes players in the first team?
5.) 02 Feb 2026 18:55:38
J the best player at the club.
A the new hope
R hopefully a prospect that will develop
T a solid pro who will be fine in the champ but who probably isn't quite good enough for the Prem
I make that 4?
6.) 02 Feb 2026 20:55:45
Rather get coady back than kilman?
7.) 02 Feb 2026 21:26:43
Really? After managing 5 appearances for Wrexham this season?
19 Aug 2025 09:41:22
Now that the signing of Jackson Nchatchoua is confirmed I wouldn't be surprised if Hoever takes Docs role at cb. Still think Doc will have a lot to offer from the bench.
1.) 19 Aug 2025 12:42:23
I think that Jackson and Hoever are both specialist RWBs/RBs really. The RCB position is the biggest concern for me, VP clearly doesn't think that S Bueno and Mosquera are good/fit enough to even replace a tiring Doc on a yellow and I tend to agree.
The only other position that really concerns me is the second AM position, and I'm not sure we've got a solution. Lopez probably isn't ready, Hwang seems to have regressed, Silva wants out, Bellegarde I feel is a better CM, leaving R Gomes as possibly the best fit as I feel he is much better in an attacking role, could he be our new Neto? Thoughts?
2.) 19 Aug 2025 13:03:45
I would like to see Jackson and Yerson (if fit) on that right side. All our back 3/5 would then have some pace and physical strength. I think Jackson is going to play a big role in getting us up the pitch with his pace.
We definitely need an attacking midfielder who can drive with the ball and is a good passer. Andre and Gomes are great players but they are to similar so most our creativity has to come from the wings. Might be worth trying Lopez in CM. I think if we got 3 more players attacking midfielder, x2 attacking forward players and keep what we have now then I think it could be a decent season.
3.) 19 Aug 2025 13:22:46
Could anybody tell me what happened to the following as I have not heard about them recently - Fraser, Leo Lopes, Lembriska and Gonzalez.
Cheers
4.) 19 Aug 2025 14:44:08
Still need another Goalie to challenge Sa
5.) 19 Aug 2025 14:45:24
Lembikisa played for u21's yesterday
6.) 19 Aug 2025 15:40:20
Molineux - good post.
Strongest part of the team is the CM where the best 2 players in the team sit - but there is absolutely nothing on the bench unless you think Munetsi and Bellegarde are Mids not, (as they are currently being played), forwards so a back up or two required
After that though it is hard to be too positive.
In central defence I had Emmanuel as the 3rd best player but he has shown worrying signs so far this year. RCB is surely marked for Yerson, (I had him as the 7th best player), so the much weaker Doherty is merely a back up and LCB, currently Toti, (my 10th best player), surely needs upgrading.
So at least one new CB preferably 2, one LCB and one CCB required
The 2WBs are brand new and so are nominally my 8th and 9th best - but clearly the jury is out and the back ups Hoever and Bueno H are some way short of the level required for the first 11
Sa as GK was my 6th best but is also looking more of an issue than I had hoped so rather than a new back up I think Wolves need a new number 1 pushing Sa to back up.
Up front the club is short on numbers and quality. I hope Arias will be the 4th best player and JSL the 5th but the other forward currently Munetsi is the 11th best and def needs upgrading. Backups are Bellegarde and Lopez so lacking a back up CF
It is a total mess but since the side has been consistently weakened over the past 5 years and the finances have gone to hell in a hand cart not only is it not surprising but also v hard to see how it can be solved in one window.
Survival is essential. Sort out the finances so that Andre and Gomes, ( plus any other the teams need to keep), can be retained and then the rebuild can be carried out over the next 3 or 4 years.
It is a long way back and with several teams all fighting for that same ground it will be very hard to achieve.
Such a shame as Nuno and his team had done a brilliant job and taken Wolves to the very edge of Champions league football and all the benefits that brings before Jeff intervened!
7.) 19 Aug 2025 19:00:27
Future definitely agree about Sa
8.) 19 Aug 2025 19:24:06
Interesting post TFIOG I think some ratings are a bit harsh.
Its easy to knock players after a 4-0 loss to City.
Simple thing is if they cut the mistakes out:
1) First goal letting the ball run across the 6 yard box
2) If Agbadou didn't play a suicide ball to Gomes we wouldn't have conceded the 2nd.
3) The third we followed the ball in pairs. Probably told to do that but you have to realise where you do that and where you don't do that on the pitch.
4) Letting Cherki have that much space is poor.
But the standards are insane and I thought apart from those 4 major mistakes (remember city had 4 shots.) we played okay. We had a nice shape we created chances it could be worse. You could see the tactics of a press that Vitor implemented at points the end of last season.
On the flip side to that how do we improve.
GK is a risky position to keep playing with and Sa's performances have earned him the chance to play as first choice. Sa was probably worth 12 points last season.
Yerson is a risk just don't want us believing he is the answer this season as that was supposed to be the case last season. Harsh on Doc aswell yes he was brought in as a back up for Semedo. But he was probably our best CB on Saturday and his performances last season were match winning. He has a great football brain and he is calm and likes to play forward.
Also Toti brings a calmness and assuredness to the squad but he has always lacked pace (thats just not his game). We we opened up a few times on Saturday but the ball that took Toti out the game was sublime. Also the mistake on the 3rd goal was Gomes or Andre pressing like madmen following Toti. Which is fine up the field but it left all that space to be exploited.
We need a cb and a lcb I don't disagree but don't knock some of the players that have stuck at it over the past few years. Both Doc and Toti want competition in the squad they have both said that.
We need two midfielders I agree not sure why they let Doyle and Traore go bit strange may have been a personality clash but it is what it is.
We need pace in the forwards and striker we need to be able to press with purpose as Wolves did after a few substitutes tbf.
Adli is still at Leverkusen so he could still be an option and Bournemouth have signed Doak.
Still think we need a name to replace Cunha not sure who but you won't sign a decent striker for £20m more like £40m-£55m for a striker that Wolves want felt we missed the boat with Evanlison at Bournemouth last season. I hope if we get Fofana he get it sorted but I'm not convinced by that at all and I would see him as depth.
I still believe there are plenty of players out there that we could get and think Vitor will get a strong squad together come the end of next week. ODCL
9.) 19 Aug 2025 21:10:41
Madman it was not a post re the Man City game at all. It is a post regarding the state of the squad. The numbers 1 -11 aren't ratings but where I saw them before the season started in reverse order with respect to the need to upgrade - it was in response to a point made by Molineuxway as to the requirements for improvement.
I have made comments however as to how that is morphing as a result of current performances so perhaps I have after all been slightly influenced by Man City
Agree Yerson is a fitness risk but there are so many issues the club has to take risks somewhere - as has been pointed out the club can't afford to upgrade all the places it needs to.
Def not disparaging Doc and indeed I have been a big fan - at times when many haven't been - but you can't beat time and he is coming to the end and should now only be a back up.
However calmness is about the last thing I see with Toti - when the ball is at his feet - it is a car crash waiting to happen. I'm sorry but for me he just isn't a very good footballer. Perfectly adequate as a LCB but only if the ball playing can be left to colleagues with more talent - as he had with RAN and Dawson/Emmanuel over the last couple of years.
However having said all that I agree with most of what you said - as I think nearly everyone, including Vitor does - shame Jeff doesn't appear to!
10.) 19 Aug 2025 23:01:45
"Toti brings calmness".what are you watching?
11.) 19 Aug 2025 23:05:08
Absolutely TFIOG it's disappointing so far this summer.
Not really sure who to blame or who to point the finger at.
Yes it's not good enough missing out etc but they could have had Sanchez and Pubill as wing backs.
I think both will be in and around the Spain squad next summer.
What is the pool of talent we should be looking at?
I think we should be aiming for good cup runs and Europe each year. I think that's realistic and I'm Fosun would want the same (even after a hard few years of PSR).
I agree it just felt a tad harsh on Doc after a decent season last year.
I still think some big decisions need to be made and some decent signings will come in.
It's too short in depth at the moment.
I would sell JSL for two decent players or even one Cunhaesque forward.
But also thought the team had room to grow and it is important not to get sucked into the results just yet.
10 games in is when we can really start to call it.
12.) 20 Aug 2025 09:36:22
Are we not even going to give Jhon Arias and Fer Lopez a chance?
24 Jul 2025 11:13:53
Arias finally confirmed. A few more please!
21 Apr 2025 18:24:44
With alledged interest for MGW from Man City does anyone know if we have a sell on clause and if so what percentage?
1.) 21 Apr 2025 19:22:01
Apparently there is a 10% sell on fee on any profit.
2.) 21 Apr 2025 19:37:14
10% I believe
3.) 21 Apr 2025 20:13:30
Thanks
4.) 22 Apr 2025 07:11:44
Plus £7.5 million when Forest qualify for any European Competition
15 Dec 2024 11:27:26
Looks like Gary ONeil has gone according to TalkSport
1.) 15 Dec 2024 11:59:27
He’s gone good riddance let’s hope fosun have learnt they lesson now
2.) 15 Dec 2024 12:25:58

Hughes booked in first half for a lunge. Almost immediately committed another foul but ref let it go for whatever reason so why was Kreji sent off?
1.) 22 Feb 2026 16:02:15
Considering Palace should have been down to ten men in the first half, that result is very difficult to take.
11 Jan 2026 12:21:51
And another bit of useless information. The last FA Cup holders knocked out by a non league side? You’ve guessed it- Wolves 1909 by Southern League Crystal Palace ironically!
11 Jan 2026 11:42:59
Thought it jogged my memory from a long time ago (funny how Ican remember from years ago but really struggle with recent events!) 1958 5th round Wolves 6 Darlington 1. Think that was the last time we scored 6 in the cup until yesterday. Major difference being our league position then as opposed to now unfortunately. UTW!
1.) 11 Jan 2026 13:28:41
Chorley 3-0 always springs to mind
2.) 11 Jan 2026 14:14:26
Sorry but what does that have to do with Wolves scoring six?
3.) 11 Jan 2026 14:37:09
What a pleasure it has been this weekend watching football on tv without VAR. offside is offside and a goal is a goal. Those were the days my friend….
4.) 11 Jan 2026 21:02:28
Wolves 6 Rotherham 4, that was a game 47vintage.
04 Jan 2026 14:49:33
Media full of how poor West Ham were yesterday and I quite agree. As were Liverpool a week ago at Anfield for the last 30 minutes when they just about hung on. As were Man U a couple of days later who were very fortunate to get a point. As were Arsenal and Villa who were both very fortunate to scrape a win against us.
1.) 04 Jan 2026 15:54:45
Every win we've ever had since we won promotion to the PL has been because the opposition have been poor. The media never say Wolves played well. Never.
2.) 05 Jan 2026 09:25:09
Always the case but surprisingly Wolves v West Ham was first up on MOTD followed by a lengthy discussion on Wolves and Mane in particular.
13 Dec 2025 20:43:56
Just turned over to check the score. Memories flooding back of that game a few years ago during lock down. David Luiz and his assault on Raul. Should have been done for criminal assault that night. How significant that proved to be!
1.) 13 Dec 2025 22:00:16
Watched second half. How cruel was that?
2.) 13 Dec 2025 22:05:34
Gutted, didn’t deserve that
3.) 13 Dec 2025 22:26:32
Warn your luck is out, its out, didn’t deserve that
4.) 14 Dec 2025 00:55:19
Of course we deserved it cus we got it. Just put all 11 behind the ball after equaliser and see game out. Is Edwards any better than previous.I DON'T THINK SO.
04 Feb 2026 08:38:05
One of the reasons we’re in this position. Fully agree Rated.
02 Feb 2026 21:26:43
Really? After managing 5 appearances for Wrexham this season?
12 Aug 2025 15:36:30
The way things are going that may happen East Mids. Remember Las Palmas were relegated last season and he didn’t do exactly well at Rangers. We may have to bite the bullet again and take another big hit in order to get rid.
05 Aug 2025 22:09:53
Definitely
05 Aug 2025 11:06:12
Just reading that Juanlu Sanchez does not want to join Wolves at the moment. Why are we bothering?
22 Feb 2026 16:02:15
Considering Palace should have been down to ten men in the first half, that result is very difficult to take.
19 Feb 2026 10:05:41
Fully agree Doog947 but this is nothing new. Arsenal are well known for their dark arts or sh*thousery as some call it. It’s all down to Arteta who was the same as a player. (Milijas sending off at Arsenal in 2011 is a great example) Became very apparent 4 years ago when Martinelli was sent off at Molineux.
Let’s say they ticked every box that night. And of course who can forget David Luis! Come on Citeh!
26 Jan 2026 17:27:25
Deep I hope you mentioned to your Arsenal fan friend that it was the violent assault by David Luiz on Raul that was a major contribution to our subsequent down turn
11 Jan 2026 14:14:26
Sorry but what does that have to do with Wolves scoring six?
19 Dec 2025 15:28:16
Only players I saw playing: Ron Flowers, Peter Broadbent, Jimmy Murray (look at his scoring record 1957/60!) Steve Bull. Bully for his massive affect on our club after the darkest time in our history. He restored our shattered pride.
