An experienced player up for grabs could be a certain Leander Dendoncker.

I also saw us being linked with resigning Coady on Sky, strange times indeed ?

2.) 19 Jun 2025 09:46:44
Both good additions for squad depth Said Donk would have been good in January.

3.) 19 Jun 2025 11:32:48
We certainly need depth and experience, in addition to young first team starters.

4.) 20 Jun 2025 17:06:52
Can’t believe we are even considering either of these two options. Both struggled toward the end of their time first time around. Both have declined significantly since them
There is no place for sentiment in this league. It is improving year on year and becoming ever more competitive. Increasingly difficult for promoted teams.
Surely lessons will be learned from last year when we found ourselves in a relegation dog fight with them. Whose to say one or two might buck the trend and move comfortably into mid-table safety. We need upgrades in all areas of the team and neither of these will provide that.

As generations pass I'm beginning to wonder how many of us remember Molineux when it was a proper football stadium? That would be pre 1979, when you could talk to players who were taking throw ins. Nearly fifty years on we can hardly see 'em. It's quite often mentioned West Ham's London stadium isn't a football stadium fit for purpose but Molineux really isn't much better. I find it sad really that younger fans who only attend home games many will have never been to a proper football ground where fans create an intimidating atmosphere and the home team make it a fortress.

Years are passing, costs of any redevelopment are spiralling, fans have become conditioned to be thankful for whatever owners of the day offer up and any thoughts of ever having a team and stadium to be prowd of aren't a million miles away, they're non existant....... Rant over.

If Steve Morgan hadn't been hounded out we may well have had a completely renovated stadium, finishing what he started.

2.) 29 Jul 2026 15:03:42
Yup I always believed Morgan was badly advised by Moxley in transfers, Morgan actually cared.

3.) 29 Jul 2026 18:14:36
You have to be well over 55 years old to remember watching Wolves play in a proper, fit-for-purpose stadium. We always thought it was only temporary. How is it other clubs can build new stadiums, or redevelop what they have, while Wolverhampton have been making excuses since the 1950s? Football is booming everywhere up and down the country (even in Wales), while we watch on from the outside, doing nothing and going nowhere.

Talk about going backwards, we're over £100m off the pace now.

The me in white coats will soon be paying a visit Ron relax a d leg the people in charge soft it out not worth giving yourself a heart atta m over chill out

2.) 19 Jul 2026 17:27:43
Is there any context to this?

3.) 19 Jul 2026 17:43:24
It was meant to read: let the people in charge sort it out, and not give yourself a heart attack over it.

Looks like Fosun are putting together a 'one season' team, more of a team to stay in the Championship while they decide what to do with the Club rather than a team to take the League by storm.

Ron Moore

1.) 12 Jul 2026 12:48:34
Yeah. I mean, Trippier and Raul are your typical lower-league strugglers, ain't they, who are signed by teams fighting relegation year after year.

2.) 12 Jul 2026 13:33:30
Typical Ron Moore attitude, always looking on the bright side. Don't know why they call themselves Wolves supporters with that attitude.

3.) 12 Jul 2026 15:33:31
Always the positive, aren't you, Ron, mate.

4.) 12 Jul 2026 16:57:56
I don’t think Fosun need to buy players to keep Wolves in the Chump while they organise a sale of the club.

Wouldn’t it make more sense to move unhappy/hopeless players out, get players in, get Wolves back into the PL, and then sell the club with it in a better financial/sellable position?

On a happier note, it made me laugh seeing Ki-Jana Hoever back for pre-season training.

Didn’t Wolves sign him when HMS Bounty was setting off to Tahiti? Hoever easily ranks as one of the worst signings Wolves have ever made.

Thefuturesildgild3: Give Fosun a chance ?????? Ten years and counting. Have you ever seen a balloon that’s been popped re-inflated?

Ron Moore

1.) 10 Jul 2026 16:11:23
Ron, I was merely pointing out that this is a common comment.
It was in relation to the highly underwhelming signing the club has made. I know that if you criticise a new signing (or indeed a manager or Fosun), then someone will jump on you saying that you haven't given them a chance.

Surely, if you have ever read any of my posts you would realise that I am far from convinced that Fosun has had Wolves' football team as a primary concern over the past few years.
PS, I am pretty sure it was you who brilliantly said, "If Fosun had wanted a Premier League team they would still have one".

2.) 11 Jul 2026 13:31:20
So common, in fact, that I have read it twice already today with respect to the new guy.
Plus, we have also had the usual posters complaining that posters are complaining about Fosun.

I really admire their loyalty to Fosun, but just don't get it?
Shouldn't posters on this site support Wolves?
I guess some people would have been delighted to have plenty of ice available when the berg sunk the "Titanic"!

He's not alone, though, is he? Players just aren't coming through the academy, and whatever happened to the 'feeder clubs' our owners were shouting about a few years ago? Or did they decide Wolves would be one? We fed the PL and starved ourselves. Trouble with taking that route is you don't know when to stop.

How much is "the market rate" for a £24m flop?

Thought the Club's coaching staff were supposed to make players better and fit to play in whichever league the Club happens to be in. If they continue changing Managers, Coaches and selling & releasing youngsters, there'll never be any continuity.

Real Sociedad were at home; some of 'em played there twice in a few days. Think Villa fans turned up just to see who they'd still got left. Teach 'em not to nick a Champions League spot in future.

HalfTimePie, It's not a genuine World Cup when we know all the players, as we see them all the time playing in all the Euro competitions, and all the top countries have Premier League players. It's probably why England fail; they're always playing against their team mates, a bit like the old Home Internationals, which actually threw up better games, were more interesting, and we sometimes actually won the thing.

Can't have enough up votes - can we have a down vote as well - up for Fosun staying, as they're doing such a great job... and Down.

If Fosun were bothered about being judged by the fans they'd have gone home by now.
