Former Wolves striker SEB (Sylvan Ebanks-Blake) is suing his surgeon for the loss of his football career at the early age of 27.

Deep Throat

1.) 19 Jul 2025 09:48:18
Same surgeon that operated on my achilles and left me with nerve damage.
World's leading expert on feet and ankles allegedly!

17 Aug 2023 14:26:07
We're linked with Josh Brownhill of Burnley.

Deep Throat

1.) 17 Aug 2023 15:41:23
God I hope not, bang average player. I'd sooner see Hodge or Jordao play to be honest! ?

2.) 17 Aug 2023 16:29:46
See Paul merson predicts Brighton win he always goes against us plus he says we can't and won't score he talks out his ass h.i never had liked him I go for a wolves win 3-1

3.) 17 Aug 2023 17:15:01
I’d rather us sign Josh Burnley, from Brownhills.

4.) 17 Aug 2023 17:22:50
Paul Merson keeps whistling the same old boring tune. Wolves 'don't score'. Therefore we will never score, right? Wrong! A team that never scores would not have stayed up last season. He may not have noticed that we finished very comfortably in 13th place last season in spite of VAR errors for which we have received several apologies. And he gets paid for writing this drivel? My prediction?
Wolves 2, Brighton 1.

5.) 17 Aug 2023 17:30:08
Deep, I’ve gone for a 2-1 win on me Super6. We can’t both be wrong, surely not

6.) 17 Aug 2023 18:43:13
He isn't a bad player to have for depth tbf but given the source it's come from I think a rumour is all it is mate.

7.) 17 Aug 2023 19:08:46
Who knows we're could run riot.its about time we battered a team

8.) 17 Aug 2023 19:41:59
Let's see guys as wolfy46 says we could run riot but it's still early days.

9.) 17 Aug 2023 20:31:57
We may not score many but we still managed to beat Liverpool, Chelsea, Spurs, Brentford and Villa at Molineux last season. Let Merson say what he wants and when we don't lose or get relegated, watch him, Gabby and Chris Sutton all suddenly say that they always felt Wolves were a decent side.

10.) 18 Aug 2023 10:04:47
Liverpool are sniffing around for Lamina, well they can think again and keep their grubby little hands off him, unless they plan to pay £200m for him and in cash not instalments. that's what I think.

11.) 22 Aug 2023 20:43:37
Liverpool so called only paid £5 million out of 45 million in Jota deal.

31 Jan 2022 11:11:26
Apparently we are favourites ahead of Rangers to sign Aaron Ramsey. He is going to take a massive wage cut, and Juve will pay him to leave. As for Rangers, they can sign Gordon Ramsay for all I care! Might improve the half-time pies in Glasgow!

Deep Throat

1.) 31 Jan 2022 11:44:19
According to his autobiography, Gordon did play for Rangers.

2.) 31 Jan 2022 11:53:40
According to The Daily Record, a deal between Rangers and Juve for AR has been agreed upon. Would've been a great addition, I'm going to be a negative Nelly and reiterate we will have no incomings today (sadly). Happy to be wrong though!

3.) 31 Jan 2022 12:03:23
I hope you are wrong Debbie else we will be looking at a third Jan in a row when we have ended the month in a similar or more likely worse position to where we started it! Fosun keep telling us there's no deals to be done, let's see shall we cause other teams seem to be managing?! ?

4.) 31 Jan 2022 13:07:38
Do we really want a overpaid injury prone midfielder?
Whether juve subsidised Ramsey's wage he's still not a good addition in my book.
I would like to see a extra striker come in but with hwang to come back I think we should have enough to cement a top ten finish.

5.) 31 Jan 2022 13:16:50
Jas, an update on the illustrious footballing career of Gordon Ramsay:
According to his autobiography Ramsay played "a couple of non-league matches as a trialist for Rangers."

He has since admitted that the exact ins-and-outs of his time at Rangers are "hazy" and according to a Rangers spokesperson he was given a trial during a testimonial match and trained with them for a few months.

6.) 31 Jan 2022 14:09:27
@ Deep Throat and Jas M - The News Of The World debunked Gordon Ramsay's claims about being a Rangers player. HE wasn't released by the club, he had trials for two weeks. This is the only time I can praise NOTW.

It all came about when Ramsay claimed on a TV program that was "released as a 17-year-old and was crushed, that is how I ended up becoming a chef" (I remember watching it) it even had Rangers legend Ally McCoist recalling GR as a young player. Hilarious, egg on both their faces.

7.) 31 Jan 2022 14:59:33
Debbie, amazing how high-achievers still feel the need to cheat! We see it in football all the time with Sterling/Kane etc diving. That tennis player banned from Aussie Open made multiple false statements.

8.) 31 Jan 2022 16:07:56
Deep Throat - I think this boils down to the ruthless "win at all costs mentality" it is drilled into athletes through all disciplines at an early age.

Look at some of the best forwards, they were very crafty. Bergkamp, Shearer, Henry or more recetnly Jota. They didn't cheat but knew /know how to draw a foul and stick in some strong challenges of their own.

9.) 31 Jan 2022 16:19:07
Strange how we’re favourites to sign players but as soon as another Club throws their hat in the ring Wolves pull out, not even willing to compete with Rangers for Ramsay.

10.) 31 Jan 2022 17:54:00
Wolves transfer strategy this window seemed to be younger players. Hoping the gamble pays off.

11.) 31 Jan 2022 18:15:44
Sorry Debs but a 'gamble' would suggest money has been spent, whereas all Fosun seem to be doing it saving pennies where ever they can! Unless of course its lining Gestufutes pocket as they seem very happy to do that (at the expense of our own transfer budget I might add)!
We lose one of our best players and replace him with a player who's only up to being sent to Grasshopper?! People will say that Fosun are being clever and they'd be right, fifth highest average season ticket in the league and replacing our best players with kids! You can call it clever I call it shameless ?

12.) 31 Jan 2022 19:55:06
Well that's it for this window according to Sky News.

Olympiacos about to be banned for match fixing according to a report today. Oh dear, we have unfinished business with them at Molineux. I wonder if a ban would affect this?

Deep Throat

1.) 26 Apr 2020 05:56:11
I saw that. Saying they are likely to be relegated to the Greek second league. I imagine they will also be blanket banned from all comps. With us going straight through.

2.) 26 Apr 2020 19:00:34
Funny old world if we went through to quarter finals that way. Not half as funny as Alan Pardew being saved from relegation, miles from safety, and all because the Dutch league has been declared null and void. Pardew claims he is not taking his bonus for avoiding relegation. Would have paid for a few taxis in Barcelona!

3.) 26 Apr 2020 23:58:29
This is probably academic anyway (as it could all be cancelled) but would it come into force this season then? Surely any punative measures they got would happen for the next tournament? Otherwise it wouldn't be fair on those teams they've already knocked out of the tournament? 🤔.

4.) 27 Apr 2020 08:41:35
Got a point there TBF bullys. Man City wouldn't get immediately kicked out of the CL for their mishaps. We will find out I'm sure. The resumption in August for european tournaments has been banded around a lot.

07 Jul 2016 16:54:52
today. Don't know if it is just Kenny keeping his hand in, or is it from Robin Li's side?

Real Betis, Aston Villa and Wolves are all interested in signing Chelsea striker Patrick Bamford on loan.

Deep Throat

1.) 07 Jul 2016 18:54:15
Decent player but hopefully we'll not need loan captures soon! This waiting's tough, you could cut the atmosphere with a 'boing boing'. Talking of which, maybe we could buy WBA, flatten the Hawthorns and turn it into a car park for away fans whom we could transport to Molineux by High Speed Tram?

2.) 07 Jul 2016 20:39:57
I'm new to this site guys . Been watching all the posts from the last few days though. Really hoping for good news very soon. FWAW.

I see that our former captain, Mario Lemina, scored against Liverpool in the Champions League last night.

I'd be interested to know who fellow fans want to be relegated with us and Burnley. I'm going for Forest, for the disgraceful way their owner treated Nuno. Nuno saved them from relegation and then got them into Europe the next season. I want Nuno to stay up with West Ham, and for Spurs I hate them slightly less than Forest.

Deep Throat

1.) 11 Mar 2026 10:11:57
Personally I would like to see Forest go down, if only to knock their self-entitled fans and owner down a peg. After that, Spurs, as that would be hysterical, watching one of the so-called "big six" trudging up to Preston/Stoke, etc.
Would like West Ham to stay up, as I've always had a soft spot for them, as my grandad was from the area before he moved to the Midlands in the 50's, and he was a massive fan.

On a different note, is it just me or is anyone else finding themselves more interested in the Championship table than the prem? I've been resigned to us going down for months, so I've sort of stopped looking at our position, but I'm constantly working out what it's going to take to see the Tesco bags drop into League One.

2.) 11 Mar 2026 10:14:55
Tottenham for me. For a simple reason. I made 2 predictions with them a few years ago that a big six team would have a bad season and get relegated, which is why they were so keen for the revenues from this super league. The other was Millwall would reach the Premier League within 10 years. Amazingly, they could happen at the same time.

3.) 11 Mar 2026 12:38:17
Looks like Spurs or Forest for the drop, Millwall promoted, West Brom down to League One, and Nuno's West Ham saved. All this would soften the blow of us going down, I think! BTW, Acle, could your big six team getting relegated have happened already? Leicester were PL champions only ten years ago, so they were obviously big six for a while?

4.) 11 Mar 2026 13:00:25
Not sure it really matters, but I would say whoever will have the biggest financial headache by being relegated.

5.) 11 Mar 2026 13:45:11
Deep, fair point, but I don't count Leicester as big six despite their PL and FA Cup wins. It seems slightly crazy they won more than Spurs, but Spurs had the Super League Invite. I count those teams as the supposed big 6, even though it clearly can't be fully on sporting merit.

For a while, Leicester looked like they had a club model to follow. Whether it was a house of cards or the tragic helicopter crash that led to their freefall, we'll never know.

6.) 11 Mar 2026 13:49:01
Well we are 300 million in debt Arddunby, so I think we will be getting a major migraine next season. ?

7.) 11 Mar 2026 13:50:05
If there's a God, it will be Forest, cus as mentioned they treated Nuno shockingly, so please send them down & also dear lord please relegate the 6 fingered lot.

8.) 11 Mar 2026 15:00:19
I'd love Spurs to come down with us, but in reality it'll be Forest or WH.
I hope it will be Forest to give them a 'p****ed balloon'. They appeared arrogant in their attitude, and relegation would level it a bit.

Spurs can't survive with Turgid or whatever his name is. He's lost the players after last night's farce. I expect him to go and a new gaffer bounce come about.

9.) 11 Mar 2026 19:02:56
De Wolf, at least we won't be on our own!!

25 Feb 2026 11:16:54
Does anyone think that Big Sam would have done better than RE for Wolves? I know that Sam is past it now, but he could hardly have done worse, could he? I thought we would at least give it our best shot at survival, rattle a few teams, go down fighting and ready for a promotion push next season.

Instead we resemble Clipboard's doomed side of 12 odd years ago.

Deep Throat

1.) 25 Feb 2026 14:45:53
Big Sam would have kept us up. The 1st thing he would have done is sort out the defence so we didn't concede.

2.) 27 Feb 2026 13:02:13
100% would have taken Sam. It wouldn't have been pretty to watch, but from what I have seen this season hasn't been. The guy has got the experience and knows what it takes to try and survive. I believe he would have saved us if they got him in. He would have us set up so we are hard to beat, and then try and nick a goal here and there. He would have loved it prior to Larson leaving, having 2 big blokes up top. Edwards was the wrong choice, as the guy got Luton relegated 2 times and then got given a lifeline at Middlesborough.

Yes, he was doing well, but they did start underperforming, and some fans said they got lucky. This is a poor side he has taken on, but I 100% believe Sam or a better coach than Edwards would have saved us. The guy is starting to sound like a broken record, as all I hear is that we are improving, but we clearly are not.

11 Feb 2026 15:06:25
Let's beat Forest tonight to lift our spirits and to punish the Forest owner for his treatment of Nuno. I have a few ££ on us.

Deep Throat

1.) 11 Feb 2026 18:48:00
I'm really hoping for a good performance tonight, but the Forest will be desperate for the points, we're not going to have the same fight.
Hopefully their desperation will mistakes and if we nick the lead they'll panic a bit.
They havnt won at home for ages and no doubt they'll think we're there for the taking.
So let's hope RE gets it right tonight.

Hilarious comment from a West Ham fan on Saturday after they won. On BBC HYS:

'My MOTM was Max Kilman, for staying on the bench the whole game'.

Deep Throat

1.) 10 Feb 2026 11:28:33
It’s fair to say that Wolves had West Ham’s knickers down with the Kilman sale. He was a young left-footed English CB, with PL experience, and for the lower teams fishing in a different pond that means £££££ - and more often than not wasted £££££. Look at Liverpool pulling Wolves’ knickers down over Hoever. £12 million!

Kilman occasionally looked decent for Wolves in a back five, but 40 fecking million! I’ve seen canal boats move and turn more quickly that Kilman.

2.) 10 Feb 2026 15:56:31
The crazy thing was JL signed him who had worked and trained with him at Wolves. So whereas another coach may not have known everything - he would or should have done.

We've sold some players too cheaply, but how much Wolves got for Kilman, Nunes and now JSL is at least some comfort.

This summer will bring the 10th anniversary of Chinese ownership of Wolves. In spite of our lofty plans for dominance in Europe, we will find ourselves back where Fosun found us, in the Championship. Of course, Fosun are hugely culpable, but the root cause is the complete reversal by the Chinese government by then abruptly disallowing investment in football in Europe. Our relegation will complete the rout of failed Chinese owners. Hopefully, Fosun will take the hit as a tax loss and sell us to a decent new owner. This article reminded me of how it all went wrong:

Chinese ownership in European football peaked in the mid-2010s with major investments in clubs like Wolves (Fosun), AC Milan and Inter Milan (Suning), Atletico Madrid (Dalian Wanda), and Slavia Prague (CEFC), but has since declined significantly due to Chinese capital controls, leading to sales and financial struggles, with Wolves remaining a prominent, though challenged, example of Chinese majority ownership in English football.

Well, Bully, if you're right that a club is likely to sign him and lend him to the Champ, then we could doubly benefit. We get the cash, and we have him for next season. There would be no better destination in the Champ than Wolves, where he has clearly prospered.

Thanks. I stand corrected, Bully, about his Rochdale back story. Nevertheless, there's lots of lovely jubbly coming our way if we sell him. He has, to my mind, settled in nicely as a PL player, but a spell in the Championship would be a backward step and could jeopardise his development.

Like MGW, he looks to have the makings of an elite player, so I would cash in before we run the risk of finding out he's not!

To me, the elephant in the room about Mane is that he has come through the academy, like MGW. Therefore, selling such players is pure profit and irresistible for Fosun's accountants, because it's great for the bottom line in our accounts.

If Mane goes to Arsenal, as part of his development he will have to learn how to fall over clutching his head if an opponent comes within the same postcode as him. (When Arsenal are leading of course).

My thoughts Fc are that Mane, if he is sold for £50mil, must not be loaned into the Championship. If he's worth £50 mil he will be hacked to death to cut him down to size by the usual suspects.

Jota had a tough time in the champ with us. I would prefer to loan Mane to Coventry if they are promoted, and then cash in when his value might get even higher.

Future, it is of course a crying shame that Fosun and Jeff have squandered our PL status. I also blame Vito Pereira, whatever was he thinking in the transfer window last summer? He inherited a team with some exceptional players and yet was acquiescent in selling those players without adequate replacements.

He should have raised merry hell instead. We gave him too much credit for saving us from relegation in the prior season, but that was no big deal with the quality we had then, was it? Obviously a 'yes man'. I hope he takes Forest down.

A good point away against a team in 7th place. Rob has clearly turned the tide. He took over an unfit, demoralised shambles of a squad. Rome wasn't built in a day. Since the start of the year, his PL stats are: played 12, points 14.

Over a whole season, that equals 44 points and safety. This bodes well for the Championship if Rob is given the opportunity and support.

Yes, Abbeywolf, the relegated teams will be the ones targeted in the Champ. We're bigger than Burnley, and possibly seen as pretty much level with Hammers or Forest, so the opposition will be all out for our scalps. Bring them on, it's the only way, sink or swim.

I think we will give it a good shot, and be challenging for promotion next season or the one after. We won't be signing top-end players, as such players will want to stay in or move to the P/L. I see us paying down debt at the same time as supplementing the squad with a shrewd mix of buys: the odd top-class older player coming to the end of his PL career, mixed with promising young lower-cost signings, and a proper evaluation of the academy prospects.

Restore pride, if you will. Rob Edwards can demonstrate in his remaining PL fixtures whether he is the right man for the job or not.
