We rumours to be after Sunderland no2 Anthony Paterson keeper.

There's rumours of Kretiji to Palace 25mil.

Simonandlaura

1.) 01 Jun 2026 11:11:56
Last night it was said that Leeds had agreed a £26m deal.

The BBC article regarding the Trippier signing said Krejci, Sa, and Hwang were likely to leave, and there was another article, which said Krejci had instructed his agent to negotiate a move, as he had no intention of staying at Molineux.

2.) 01 Jun 2026 12:58:34
Anyone who genuinely wants out, probably the quicker the better at this stage. No point in losing players on deadline day, it's just a waste of pre-season.

29 May 2026 21:21:26
Jordan James and Ellis Simms both on radar apparently.

Simonandlaura

1.) 30 May 2026 06:28:48
Villarreal have put an offer in for James. Doesn't say how much, but reports say Rennes want 10 to 12 mill.

14 May 2026 22:56:09
Wolves apparently interested in Diogo Berazza.

Simonandlaura

05 May 2026 11:36:27
We're linked with Nicolas Polster a keeper.

Simonandlaura

1.) 05 May 2026 17:19:23
Celtic are keen too, so no chance he will be interested in us. Don't need a quality keeper to pick the ball out of the net; anyone can do it.

2.) 05 May 2026 18:07:47
Brighton and Bournemouth are interested too. So, the choice will be to play a bit-part role for any of the quality clubs, or risk getting a bad back picking the ball out of the back of the net so frequently at Molineux?

So Trincao going to Liverpool in the paper lol.

Simonandlaura

1.) 07 Jun 2026 11:24:42
Let me guess. Another one we let go blah blah blah.

The fact he was s*** when he played for us will be conveniently forgotten.

2.) 07 Jun 2026 16:08:24
Tbf, Trincao's attitude stank when he was with us.

3.) 07 Jun 2026 19:09:32
Not saying anything about letting him go. He was poor with us. You could see there's a player in there tho, it just didn't work out.

4.) 07 Jun 2026 19:26:29
He never wanted to come to us anyway.but he cudve been quality just like vitinha.never got a look in because of neves and moutinho.just add him to the list of ones that got away.or we wer too stupid to see the player they could be...???

5.) 07 Jun 2026 21:19:16
Trincao didn't exactly set the world alight at Wolves, and there's a huge difference between being brilliant in Portugal's Primeira Liga and the Premier League.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing. Didn't Ron Saunders bin Steve Bull because he had a terrible first touch? To paragraph someone else, it worked out well for Wolves as his second touch was normally in the back of the net.

6.) 07 Jun 2026 21:39:48
Why are players like this terrible at Wolves, and then go and set the world on fire? Vitinha, etc. Is it the way we play, or how they are used?

7.) 07 Jun 2026 22:12:55
These things happen, VB. Vitinha is a bit more of an unusual one because Wolves let him go and now he's a double Champions League winner. Other than that, pretty much every club can look back and think "FFS, why the hell did we let that player go?" "Why did we let him go so cheap?" Etc, etc.

Look at Chelsea... They released Declan Rice! They let Kevin De Bruyne and Mo Salah slip through their fingers! On the other hand, they picked up Claude Makelele for a bargain £17 million who was probably the best defensive midfielder in the world. What the hell were Real Madrid thinking?

8.) 07 Jun 2026 22:23:19
Liverpool haven't bought Trincao yet, and I will be very surprised if they do. He's technically gifted, but lacks the physical presence required to consistently compete in the Prem.

I love Saiiss. The first time his passion was awsome and he play cb but how good has he been latley. Hes getting on and along with Santi at the back whos good but has no pace. We might struggle. I think we need a younger fitting in there.

I have to agree Simon, sadly it would seem that some fans are far to fixated on nostalgia and not enough on the realities of where we find ourselves today! The Champ is a seriously competitive league and these posts suggesting 'getting the band back together' whilst pleasant show a complete lack of respect for the league we are headed to!
I loved Saiss first time around, but when he left he was already showing that he'd lost a yard of pace and that was when he was 33! He's now 36 and has spent the last two season playing in a Saudi league which frankly (for the most part) is below League One level and he's managed just 11 games over two seasons!
I have similar concerns with Raul, who again was fantastic first time round but is also 36 and I suspect would be expecting one of the higher wages at the club. Which is fine if he's starting every game but he hasn't done that since he's moved to Fulham (last season he was mostly used as an impact sub) so suddenly starting 46 games seems like a stretch for me.
Also with this there is a very real danger of filling the squad with 35+ aged players on big wages which can then potentially become a burden if injured or we don't get promoted.

Don't get me wrong I think Trippier is a quality signing, but as others have said we need to consider the Brighton model. That means having one or two (top) older players that can lead the dressing room and wear the armband, for which Trippier is perfect. But it should realistically be one or two players, if you start filling the squad with them it can become a very real issue! Just ask Jack Hayward, who for all his good intentions presided over the now infamous 'Golden Tit' era! Experience is great and we need some, but we also need to create a new squad and move forward and we won't do that as a club by offering high wages to players well past their best simply because they remind of a bygone era when Fosun actually cared for and ran this club properly!
If Nathan is truly serious about righting wrongs then he needs to assemble a squad that can make their own history, not chase the past of Jeff's now sullied history! ??

2.) 03 Jun 2026 13:11:47
Wolves need players like Saiss, Raul, and Trippier. We need solid, experienced players who have ability and will turn their guts out for the Wolves. We've had too many chancers and plonkers at the club. Dreamers who think they're talented, leaders, or whatever else they think themselves to be.

Half the players who've been wearing a Wolves shirt over the past few seasons aren't worth a tripe supper.

Wolves also need experienced players of substance to help players like Mane, and other young, talented players that Wolves sign.

3.) 03 Jun 2026 19:08:50
Again, though, do we really need a player that didn't make the team for even a third of the matches in the Qatar Star League last year (Saiss)? Playing your guts out is great, but it doesn't mean much if you're not actually up to the standard of the league you're being paid to play in.

Nuno stays at West Ham.

Simonandlaura

1.) 27 May 2026 11:37:49
Hate to admit it, but good move by the Hammers. Nuno's points stats after taking over a demoralised West Ham team equated to a mid-table finish over a whole season. The damage was done by his two predecessors. Compare Nuno's record to Rob's. No contest!

2.) 27 May 2026 12:07:23
West Ham will piss the championship now.

3.) 27 May 2026 12:23:20
You're right, Boz, but only if they keep their best players and invest.

Wolves need to invest heavily and keep as many of their best players as possible. If Fosun drag their heels and play silly buggers, it won't end well.

Wolves fans are forgetting about Wrexham and Brum. Both clubs have super ambitious owners. Both clubs could easily school Wolves and West Ham.

I just don't see our style of play. It ain't possession based, but we keep going sideways and back all the time. No one goes in the whole and gets the ball to turn and go or pass forward. It seems like long ball stuff, but upto Armstrong who is knee hight to a grasshopper makes no sense. We just giving possession away.

For me Re has to go now. Burnley looked a far better side than us in that 2nd half. I know Re inherited a poor side, but he has not made an ounce of difference to them. No point sacking vp really, even though he was poor in the end. I'm in the Edwards out camp now definitely.

1.) 25 May 2026 12:35:54
I do know what you mean, Simon, yesterday's game should have been a wake up call for peeps. Burnley have the cheapest team in the Prem, they are currently being run by an interim manager who has only ever previously held down a coaching role. And how did Rob get on against this club in absolute disarray? We drew, whilst trying to contain them and only managing a frankly pathetic 29.6% possession! People can say what they want about the squad he's been given, but not even managing 30% possession against a team that will do well to make the play-offs next season, despite having a team worth far more (currently), is and should be very telling about Rob's tactics (or lack thereof)! And let's be honest here, it's not just yesterday, seriously take a look at our possession stats under him, it's rarely over 30% regardless of who we play.

That, I'm afraid, has nothing to do with the players at his disposal, and everything to do with a system that seems entirely disjointed and lacking in any genuine tactical possession or build up play. Like everyone else I wanted Rob to be the answer, I really did, but as you have quite rightly pointed out, Simon, yesterday's performance of getting played off the park by a poor squad and an interim manager sadly reflects Rob's current managerial abilities or lack thereof. ?

2.) 25 May 2026 16:42:28
Yesterday was a prime example. 30% possession against the next worst team in the league is not acceptable. Irrelevant of the current players, we have no pattern of play, no intensity, nothing. Nice guy he may be, but he's got to go, simple as that.

I loved Raul, the goal machine, but he's not played 90mins for nearly 3 seasons. To think he's going to be good in the tough Championship is a mistake, I think. I'm glad to get him back as a good person, an old wise head, and he has class, definitely.

I am concerned, tho, it's not the marquee forward we need, so hopefully Fosun pull something out of the bag.

Are you talking about Sasa Kalidazic, our guy? He might do a job in the Championship, big and strong, and can hold the ball up... Better option than Tolu or Hwang, I think.

Ward-Prowse passed it, I think, and don't drive with the ball forward, would just sit in dm and we have Andre for that.

Flea, ur in cloud cuckoo land, matey. What has Rob improved? Look at VP stats and RE stats, and what does it show. RE has not made any improvements, and there were still many points to play for. We didn't even put up a decent fight; we just surrendered and went down with a whimper! I don't think RE will go, but I think he hasn't done anything at all to speak of...

I usually judge things on how many people say in or out, and at the moment I think 80/90% say Rob out now.
