Pubill doesn't want to join us. End of matter.
1.) 20 Jul 2025 18:08:04
New report out saying his transfer to AC Milan has fallen apart doesn't say why Wolves might have a chance. My onw opinion is why do we want him when he prefersd AC Milan we won't good enough so why sign him now end off.
2.) 20 Jul 2025 18:21:00
Apparently Milan may have cooled their interest according to Molineux News, no indication why, so the opportunity may still exist. Might be difficult though after his comments preferring Milan.
3.) 20 Jul 2025 18:31:56
Totally agree LongmyndWolf as my comment's above.
4.) 20 Jul 2025 23:01:14
I think it is because he has a dodgy knee and injury prone. I would stay away.
5.) 21 Jul 2025 09:30:45
If he doesn't want to come we should stay away to avoid another Cutrone/Guedes situation. No matter how good a player is, they become more of a liability when they want to be elsewhere.
6.) 21 Jul 2025 14:25:59
Let’s chase someone who wants to play for us rather than someone who doesn’t!
7.) 21 Jul 2025 19:08:05
Yeah I'm with VaB here, his move to AC seems to have collapsed right around the same time as his medical, that's rarely a coincidence!
21 May 2024 11:07:59
We're being linked with Jonathan Rowe of Norwich City. If Pedro Neto leaves for £60 million and we could get Rowe for £20 million, that would be great business.
1.) 22 May 2024 06:45:09
The Lad get good press Lost, personally not really spent any time watching him.
16 May 2024 16:46:21
We're reportedly hoping to get £20 million for Fabio Silva. £5 million sounds more realistic.
1.) 16 May 2024 17:34:46
If Fabio is sold for £20m, would this mean Jeff Shi is poor for selling a player for £15m less than we signed him because he didn't live up to expectations or would Shi be a genius for managing to get £20m for a player who clearly isn't worth it?
2.) 16 May 2024 17:37:16
And £6 million for podence seems quite likely to happen. Would bite the hand off of anyone happy to pay £20 mil for silva
3.) 16 May 2024 19:20:37
As Mendes made a lot on the deal putting silva to us I hope mendes can get us the best price for him.
At the time silva was an exciting best young prospect coming out of Portugal.
Hindsight is a wonderful thing if you could bottle it.
There will be funds coming in how ever much it may be.
4.) 17 May 2024 09:41:24
If its euros then,
6 million euros is 5.144 million pounds sterling
20 million euros is 17.147 million pounds sterling.
5.) 17 May 2024 12:05:33
It's hard to see anyone willing to spend 20m GBP or 20m Euros on Fabio Silva.
27 Oct 2022 10:15:58
Wolves are waiting for Lopetegui. I reckon that they are willing to wait until Christmas. He has been number one choice for a long time.
1.) 27 Oct 2022 12:45:22
Maybe.but could be too late by then.
If QPR start to stumble, they could try Beale again!
2.) 27 Oct 2022 18:20:22
If QPR stumble, would we really want an inexperienced manager who is not succeeding in the championship. We should be aiming a lot higher than that. Our current situation reminds of when McCarthy was sacked. Inept board, no plan B and with all due respect a caretaker boss who is out of their depth managing a premier league club fighting for survival. I can only see the same outcome as well - RELEGATION!
3.) 27 Oct 2022 18:29:32
Warm weather camp in December - ideal opportunity for a new manager to get to know the players, a sort of mini pre-season. Maybe Spain? Who knows who might be joining them.
4.) 27 Oct 2022 18:41:57
After Beales comments to Talksport he can do one, he basically said there are 2 places between QPR and Wolves and moving to Wolves wouldn't be ambition for him.
5.) 27 Oct 2022 18:58:58
There ARE 2 places between them and the way things are going we’ll be swapping places at the end of the season. I don’t blame him one bit for turning us down. We are currently a shambles of a club and our situation is an embarrassment
6.) 28 Oct 2022 07:02:46
Chaps, my comments about Beale, were an attempt as sarcasm.
Not a chance of him joining and surely not right for us.
It feels we will knee-jerk into a bad appointment and that will see us down.
I fear a real battering by Brentford.
7.) 28 Oct 2022 11:21:54
Used to look forward to match days, just dreading it now. It's suggested Fosun should sell the club, but who will buy? Like buying a clapped out car!
8.) 28 Oct 2022 12:34:29
Ray, Wolves would be great buy for the right person. good fan base, good income, potential of a great team, why would they be like buying a clapped out car?
Some people on here seriously need to look at glass half full, yes things are bad at moment, but stop with the constant brain drain, we know its bad, we can all see it, but Wolves as a club don't just turn to sh1t because things are bad now, if we were to be bought like before things could really pick up with the right infrastructure in the club.
9.) 28 Oct 2022 16:12:55
Great post Sydney.
This is the tragedy of the whole matter it takes only tiny chnages to turn this around.Fosun themselves showed how its done in their first few years at the club.
Even now we can survive this year and then return to an upward curve next year with only minimal changes required.
Simply appoint a talented first team football manager and let him/her sort out the team and the squad.
Although nowhere near as good/balanced/deep as it once was (or even was before the trolley dash that was the latest poor transfer window) even without expenditure in Jan (as long as we don't sell our best players!) it is surely still better than 3 others in the league.
It will however also require Fosun to remove Jeff or at least ensure that he has no input whatsoever into the football and football finances side of the business merely dealing with the mundane matters that he MIGHT be capable of dealing with such as catering, cleaning and other non football related commerical activities.
This has to happen now/V V soon though as another couple of months of losses and it may then be too late even for a Ferguson/Wenger/Klopp triumviate to turn around
10.) 28 Oct 2022 16:57:21
Agree Future, it has to happen and ASAP, all is not lost yet, some hard work and a lot of bottle will turn this around with the right people in the right jobs, whether its under Fosun's banner or someone else's it can and will happen I believe, Fosun have a big asset in Wolves, a club in the best league in world, a squad full of talent, genuine fans who will come week in week out, same as Newcastle, a great opportunity to get back on the European stage if they get thing sorted, the list goes on, we as a club and fans are an asset to any owner

Nuno.
1.) 30 Dec 2025 17:58:39
Time to get over him he isn't exactly doing great at West Ham and he won't come anyway whilst Fosun are here.
18 Dec 2025 22:38:54
Nigel Lonwijk, who is on loan from us to Luton Town, is doing well and should be recalled. He would strengthen our defensive options ready for next season.
1.) 19 Dec 2025 04:47:06
Agree lost think he would be a decent player in the championship
2.) 19 Dec 2025 10:50:22
Luton have an 'Obligation to buy' clause inserted in the loan deal. Plus, he's 23 years old and been at Wolves for 6 years and is clearly not good enough for Premier League. Would he be good enough for the Championship? I don't know but he hasn't looked brilliant at Luton.
3.) 19 Dec 2025 12:44:01
It might be beggars can’t be choosers with us next season good, all these people that think fosun will throw money at a promotion push are delusional, they will sell off the family silver and happily pocket the parachute payments to offset the losses from tv revenue, about 8 million a season in the championship compared to about 90/95 million in the premier league
4.) 19 Dec 2025 18:24:36
That doesn't make sense De wolf. Parachute payments are for a limited time, three seasons. The Holy Grail is always getting back to the PL before the payments run out. The losses from PL revenue are not has huge as you say.
We might get about £41mil season 1, £34mil season 2, and £16mil third and final season. Basically a year's worth of PL revenue spread over 3 seasons. Even for Fosun, there's scope there for spending on a promotion push.
5.) 19 Dec 2025 20:31:50
Take off the fosun tinted glasses deep throat, our tv revenue income will be around the 8 million mark in the championship, we get around the 90 million mark at the minute in the prem, fosun took a loan out at the beginning of this season against future tv income, that has to be paid back at the end of the season, where do you think that money is coming from? Because it won’t be fosun, so therefore it will be player sales and other income (which will also be lower)
Teflon jeffs already said relegation is only a “ technical” issue just right before he lied about the council.
Whatever way you look at it we are screwed next season
12 Dec 2025 01:10:54
Drastic action is needed. Prepare for next season. Get rid of all the current squad with the exception of Mane. Replace them with 7 or 8 experienced players and 7 or 8 promising British youngsters. Cody, Boly, fast Traore and Jiminez have been mentioned and I wouldn't argue with any of these. Transfer fees should be no problem, but championship wages may be.
We will get decent money for 2 or 3 of our current players but will have to give away or pay off the rest. So what, they have got to go. They would struggle to get in a league 2 side. They really are that bad. Oh well, moan over, I'll still love The Wolves whatever happens, as I have since 1965.
1.) 12 Dec 2025 08:28:03
So he's saying he maybe expand the ground by 8, 000 , possibly, if we shut up moaning
Just a smokescreen comment, to get us away from relegation issue
21 Nov 2025 14:50:20
I've got a good feeling about the Crystal Palace game. I had a dream the other night and we won 1-0.
There's plenty of time left for us to rescue the season. A win against Palace and a decent January window and we're on our way. It's good to have a Wolves man at the helm.
1.) 21 Nov 2025 15:38:15
I just hope Edwards can make the defence harder to breach and instill a more attacking style of play.
2.) 21 Nov 2025 16:35:17
The difference between Edwards and previous managers is that he knows what it’s like for fans to hurt when we lose.
I remember thinking we were going to wipe the floor with the baggies when we first played them under Nuno. How wrong I was!
I’m not hoping he can save us, I’m quietly confident his passion, togetherness and history will be behind him to succeed.
27 Oct 2025 22:39:55
We comfortably survived last season under VP from a similar situation.
If the fans get behind him and the team, I am adamant that we can do it again. Had we got the late winner instead of Burnley, we would all be whistling Dixie. That's how narrow the gap between success and failure is. Come on you Wolves fans and get back to being the twelth man and consequently give us our best chance of staying up.
1.) 28 Oct 2025 00:21:09
Trouble is Lost it's all if's, but's and maybe's based on little more than hope. Let's not forget we had a better team last season and we haven't actually won a league match since April which by any metric is shocking, record breaking in fact and not in a good way.
Even as a fan of VP I realise that for whatever reason it's not working for him and that doesn't look like changing anytime soon. Is it the players or is it him, either way it's not working.
The simple fact is we didn't beat Burnley and while I'm sure the fans always show their support for the Club they expressed their anger yesterday because they care. If VP, support or not, can't change this then Shi/Fosun will throw him under the bus.
2.) 28 Oct 2025 03:10:35
We've not won since April.
3.) 28 Oct 2025 04:16:03
Good to see a sense of humour still exists even during the shambles Fosun contine to serve up, this season's over, a quarter of the way through and they'll be lucky to make double figures. I can't bring myself to say "we" any more, it's not our club, they don't care what we think, probably won't even notice ten thousand or so fans will have disappeared and away allocations will rarely be taken up next season.

If Larsen is worth 50 million, what is Mane worth?
23 Apr 2025 18:03:02
Just been speaking to a neighbour of Sasa in Cafe 29 in Perton. She reckons he's a great bloke who is proud to be a Wolf. Apparently, he is both surprised and delighted at the way we have turned our season around.
03 Feb 2025 15:10:20
Dawson is a spent force. Cody would be a good acquisition both on and off the field.
18 Jan 2025 16:39:50
I'm excited about this one.
18 Feb 2024 15:14:45
£100 million, Neto.
£80 million Cunha.
£80 million Gomes.
Not a penny less.

Yes .

Despite my recent negative comments, Wolves 2 Man City 1 .
28 Jul 2025 21:11:04
Shada, what's the point of setting our sights higher?
Let's face the fact that big name players don't want to come to Wolverhampton.
22 Jul 2025 09:32:24
I have a bad feeling about this deal. Two words - Commitment and medical.
10 Jun 2025 12:32:58
Best Wishes to you Wolfflea.
