Premiership experience with good track record at Old Trafford.
Young approach and good affinity with players especially Ole with Strand Larsen who he may well be able to rejuvenate.

He didn’t sign under Nuno, as he wouldn’t have been able to play. He’d already played for two clubs that season- Chelsea and Villa. So if he had signed he would have been ineligible to play. He’s only just getting over a bad ACL injury too

I don't get it either, Prestonwolf. Someone said he doesn't perform well in training, but I think it matters more in matches rather than training. I understand a little if he is very poor in training; however, he seems a good lad who always gives everything.

I do think he's more of an impact player at the moment, Banksy & Preston, Jackson a little more experienced to start with, but I'm with you, he deserves more match time, and he is really promising.

Think Gomes has to start working harder in training from what previous managers have suggested (VP and GON). I also wonder how much of our team selection in this final run of games is actually representing those players that are genuinely considering staying next season.
I mean, let's be honest, the club must have sat down with each player by now and got a general consensus of who's willing to play in the Champ and who isn't. I wonder if a lot of the current team selection is actually taking that into consideration. ?

From today's starting 11, I can't see Sa, Santi, Krejci, Andre, Mane or Hugo being here come August 2026. I doubt we take up the option on Angel Gomes either. Add to that, Joao Gomes will also go. Things look very bleak at the moment.

Maybe, but then who's paying good money for any of them, going off recent form?! I'd say Andre, Gomes and Santi are the only ones there who actually look like Prem-quality players. Maybe Hugo on a good day, but on a bad day he'd struggle to find a defensive position with a sat nav. Krejci, I'd agree with, but we just paid £26m for him. Can you honestly see anyone paying that in the current market?! As for Angel Gomes, to be frank, I'm starting to worry that he isn't even up to the Champ, rather than the other way round?! I hear what you're saying, but when some of these players have been as poor as they have been this season, then you might just find their options are about as limited as the club's are.

Only my opinion so don't hang me but I said at the time that Edwards is not the best for us and he definitely won't bring us back up. picking hwang is now beyond a joke and I don't believe he was injured I think he bottled it.

Totally agree, TT. Whether you are Cutrone, Fabio, Corbeanu or anyone, it's difficult to get more than 5 minutes game time, with that pesky Raul. He's never injured, runs all day and night, works el socks off all over the pitch and our most likely goalscorer! We are so lucky that we have several players with the same attitude. Trust in Nuno!
