Who at the club thought up the idea of playing a pre-season friendly at Walsall and charging our own fans a fiver to stream it?
Who’s thinks it is a good idea to charge fans £45 a season to listen to audio commentary of every game this season in the Wolves app?
Seems the only ideas the club has to raise funds is to squeeze every drop out of their own long suffering loyal fans.
Is this sustainable in the long term?

A £45.00 charge to listen to all the 26/27 season Wolves games via the Wolves app is a pretty good deal. I imagine plenty of fans will sign up for the offer.
Imagine being a truck driver and having the ability to listen to Wolves games while driving all over the UK or Europe.
Torture for many, but bliss for a truck driving Wolves fan.
When I was young and on foreign holidays, the only way to follow Wolves was either via the BBC World Service or English newspapers that arrived one or two days later.

I've paid my £5 each for pre-season games, I've paid the £45 radio commentary fee, and I've paid the £30 (I think) membership fee.
I live in Oxfordshire and can't get to the Mol in person anymore due to age and related conditions. If I could, the train fares would prove too much. So, being able to watch, listen, and feel part of the pack is good value for me.
It would be a bit rich for me to criticise the club's expenditure if I didn't feel as if I was paying in.
So, Wandering Stars Dad, it's a great idea for me. Yes, I'm lucky I've afforded it, but I'd imagine many fans of my age group, with support born from the 50s and 60s and spread up and down the country, would feel the same.

Agree ref Thommo. I remember a few years ago when we had to pay match by match. I stopped paying after a while, as the service was hit and miss (mostly miss). I must admit, though, that the 'free' service last season was OK.

Every club buys and sells players and every player has their price, but our owners really don’t understand or gaf about their own supporters and don’t appear to gaf who we sell to or improve and progress other teams.

Spread the word!! Fans who keep renewing in hope have no expectation. Any of them born in the last forty have never seen us win anything apart from the play-off final in Cardiff, and that was well before Fosun. The Molineux area of town should be thriving by now, with a state-of-the-art stadium, bars, restaurants and venues; we have a supermarket and burger vans.
The investment never came and isn't coming. A glance at the tables, the clubs who've passed us and those who are about to is almost beyond belief. Wolves fans didn't deserve this, but it's not easy to sympathise with the 'masses' lining Fosun's coffers while they oversee the ruination of our once nearly great club.

Unless Fosun invest heavily in Wolves' stadium, the club won't ever be anything but a decent Championship side and cannon fodder in the PL.
The people who run the club don't have the brains to turn Wolves into a Brighton/Brentford/Bournemouth.
Their transfer dealings in the PL have been appalling for a number of years. If there is a trash signing to be made, you'll generally find Wolves pushing their way to the front of the queue.

You hit the nail fully on the head, Ron. Not only has the investment that you describe not been forthcoming, it most likely never will. Under Fosun, Wolves will continue to be a selling club, and everyone knows it, which is why they sell so cheap.
Any work undertaken at the Mol will also have to be self funded, so where does that leave the Club? A redevelopment, added to promotion, would add, along with some improvement of its income streams, considerable value.
We can only assume that Fosun can't afford to chip in, so what's the point of owning it? Perversely, you make a valid point: the better the support, the less chance there is of things changing.

The problem is, Rob Edwards lives in la la land. Fosun will need to bankroll Rob, which is stupid. Might as well bring the omelette chef in and bankroll them. Any silly sod can win the Championship if they have a £130 million squad.

The bigger point for me would be that Rob Edwards isn't good enough, and in no way could he be compared to Nuno's managerial nous, wandering stars.
First, get someone in charge who can get the dynamics of a promotion-challenging team in place, and then recruit accordingly.
We're 'lumbered' with what we've got to some extent, and our pull, player-wise, is at an all-time low, so we'll cobble together and harness a mixture of has-beens, never-beens, and injury-prone could-have-beens, and ask them to go out and go through the 'traditional or trendy' motions in the hope they'll 'bond'.
I'm sorry to say, but as nice a guy as Rob Edwards seems to be, I just can't see him lighting up any team or rubbing any charismatic, infectious style of play onto players.
We'll be a dull, unexciting midtable outfit that everyone will want to beat, being relegated Prem, but more so, our historic name.
We need a clean sweep all round, fresh faces and fresh ideas, someone who gets hurt when we lose, someone who fires a team and impassions the fan base.
Sadly, I've no ideas who, but then I never knew who Nuno was when he arrived.

Fully agree, Abbey. Rob Edwards has already demonstrated that he is out of his depth in the Premiership, so keeping him on is a pointless exercise because if we do, by some miracle, gain promotion, we will soon be in exactly the same position as we are now.
A new manager needs to be appointed asap, should be backed financially, and it needs to be someone who can bring back a team identity, because, at the present time, we are a shambles, no playing philosophy, no squad cohesion, and a fan base that is crying out for some semblance of unity and ambition from those who hold the reins.
I have been a supporter for 60+ years, have seen the highs and the lows, so understand the diverse emotions supporting Wolves brings, but what currently annoys me most is the seeming complacency of those in charge. If that doesn't change, we have no hope of coming out of the darkness any time soon.

We have to be self sustainable, and Nathan is already looking into how to spend all of the £5's raised from the fans for streaming the Real Sociedad game.
We have more friendlies coming up, and more £5's to go into the coffers, so let's just wait and see how this money is invested.
The stadium tours, advertised on the club website at £25 for adults, could help to swell the revenue further.
The sky's the limit with Nathan at the wheel.
