Still trying to come to terms that we have Rob as manager for the foreseeable future.
After last few weeks of utter rubbish, struggling to see any positivity, apologies if others are ok with it.
If, as is quite possible, we are terrible again on Sunday, do we just continue? If Rob drops the 5 players, as he mentioned he intends to build his team around 6, we are atrocious again, then what?
Obviously still not happy with everything even after the forum, I am sure I am not alone in this.
15 May 2026 18:15:25
It's hard to disagree, Banksy, it seems like the players are being blamed for RE's abysmal stats, but if Jeff Shi and the management team made so many bad choices with them, maybe they did with him.
15 May 2026 19:01:08
We urgently need to find a new Conor Coady. We never replaced him with like for like and suffered because of it. A born leader, and very vocal with it. A man like that can make up for anything lacking in Rob.
15 May 2026 14:39:12
Seamus Collman anyone? Interesting one a club captain at Everton.
15 May 2026 16:01:13
Now injury prone and nearly as old as Rob Edwards. š
15 May 2026 16:06:19
.....James Tavernier may be a good shout, though?
15 May 2026 16:24:49
I'd go for Jamal Lascelles, whose contract at Leicester expires 30th June 2026, and Max Kilman on loan. Gavin Bazunu in goal. That will sort out the defence.
Dan Neil in midfield alongside Tommy Doyle.
Ellis Simms, if Coventry are happy to move him on.
15 May 2026 16:46:23
Depends on Coleman's fitness levels. Wolves signed Denis Irwin when he was 36, and he was the bees' knees.
Only snag is he would want mega wages, and he'll likely take a coaching role at Everton.
15 May 2026 17:05:02
Wolves absolutely do need an experienced UK player who is a leader and can play plenty of games. What I would give to see a Paul Ince or Alex Rae type player back at Wolves. Rae is still one of my favourite ever players at Wolves.
15 May 2026 20:25:50
No to Max Kilman for me, I didn't rate him too highly.

A Brilliant song for all Wolves fans.
To sing at matches next season.
Living on a prayer.
15 May 2026 07:29:37
Surely a consideration should be 'The Wanderer'. There are many versions to choose from, Dion, Dave Edmunds, Status Quo, etc., to cover the generations. It gets the crowd going, singing/chanting along, and is enough to get the players' minds on the game.
And, of course, it's identifiable.
15 May 2026 08:57:38
Agree, Abbey. The Wanderer by Dion would be an excellent choice. Good beat to it. Would get the crowd going.
15 May 2026 13:50:03
To be honest, looking at our squad and performances this season, I think 'The Passenger' by Iggy Pop would be more fitting. š¤£š
15 May 2026 16:52:51
Couldn't do better than 'Singing the Blues' by Guy Mitchell. Sums us up perfectly.
15 May 2026 20:35:41
If things don't improve, it'll be 'Down Down' by Status Quo.
14 May 2026 17:17:32
Home strip should be old gold with black Wolves pattern. Away strip
Old gold with stripes.
Song to be played on match days.
Give us hope Joanna.

Probably been covered umpteen times, but after listening to the full version of the fans forum.
Nathan Shi is a legend in the making. Highly intelligent with a good sense of humour. Will probably bring the Liquidator back.
Rob Edwards didnāt come across very well at all. A little bit sarcastic, disingenuous, and out of his depth. His answers were paint by numbers, unintelligent, and inspired little confidence.
One fan stating that Robās stats are not good enough was edited out of the WM broadcast. The stats were quite damning.
Matt Jackson stated that the work started before Rob arrived. Nathan Shi clearly stating that Wolves Must be competitive in their last two games. Wouldnāt be surprised if Edwards gets canned.
14 May 2026 18:52:05
Good summary of the broadcast shandy. I heard the shorter version at 6pm on WM, and Rob kept saying the players couldn't try any harder; they are all maxed out.
From what I hear about the Brighton game, a number of players seem to be coasting through the game, so I don't understand the "maxed out" comments.
He is statistically the worst Prem manager of all time. It's a fact that cannot be edited out.
14 May 2026 23:33:39
I agree with your take on the Forum Shandy.
I thought Shi, especially, came across well - as you say, intelligent, open, humorous. Dodged nothing. And it was him who requested the Forum. The way they are currently - brave I'd say.
I hope he follows it thru, and is allowed to.
Just as you say with Rob, such a poor communicator, accepts nothing as his fault. He is not inspirational at all - are you surprised the players don't perform for him? (Yes, I know, of course, they should as professionals on very big money, but).
I'm sad Shi is sticking with him, and allowing Re and the other proven lightweight, Matt, to choose the ongoing squad and spend what money we may have.
I think they should go now. I don't want to give them 10 games to try to find out.
Too much at risk for our club. Make the big decision - spend the money trying to find and attract the right man to take us forward. š š¤ Please Nathan.
15 May 2026 07:40:09
I thought Matt Jackson came across quite well. One bit I did find interesting was when a fan vocally attacked the players, Matt jumped to their defence. Interesting, because a few fans were quite vocal in their criticism of Rob Edwards and Matt didn't jump to his defence.
14 May 2026 15:05:00
Black and gold by Sparro would be a decent song for us.
14 May 2026 17:30:14
Has titanium been used?
Other than by Stephen hunting at the darts.
14 May 2026 14:24:19
I have tried to always look on the bright side of things. However, this season has tested me more than any other I can remember and Iāve supported this lot since my first game at the Mol in Nov 1963. We beat Man United.
But listening to the fans forum I was somewhat surprised by the forthright response from Nathan Shi. He seems on the face of it to recognise what the club means to us the fans and why this season in particular has been so disappointing.
Iāll always have those two League Cups, the wonderful play off game and party in Cardiff and even the Sherpa Van Trophy to remember but the Nuno years are something I can look back on with great affection.
So that is why this season has been so difficult. We can as a club do the seemingly impossible and put together a team that fills its supporters with hope and optimism.
My message to Nathan Shi is clear, prove to us you mean what you say, rebuild this club and the fans will support you. Donāt try to emulate mid table mediocrity but strive for greater glory.
14 May 2026 16:57:55
Hope Nuno comes back one day.
13 May 2026 23:53:41
What section of fans are asking to bring back āThe Liquidatorā? Those who are stuck in the seventies and donāt take youngsters to the game I imagine.
14 May 2026 08:21:51
Loyal fans I imagine!
Even without the song there's bad language at every ground including ours.
14 May 2026 12:06:21
We don't want the Liquidator back. We need a proper song, like a lot of other teams have.
14 May 2026 15:14:36
Bos, We used to call it industrial language when we worked in factories. Do we really need to promote it at the football? We should be asking Nathan how he plans to keep us in the Championship, not if we can bring back Harry J and the Allstars.
14 May 2026 17:26:36
Bring back the Liquidator for pre match and L'Amour Toujours for when Wolves score.
13 May 2026 19:54:05
I can never understand why our away kit has never been red and white stripes, given that was our original kit, given itās our 150th anniversary next season, perhaps a nod to our past would be in order.
13 May 2026 22:06:54
And Gold & Black stripes for home kit.
13 May 2026 22:36:46
Absolutely great shout.
14 May 2026 08:23:02
I'm sure there was a debate and fans were asked and given choices.
14 May 2026 11:12:32
Call me old-fashioned, but I'd rather have the famous old gold and black as our away kit wherever possible. It actually very rarely clashes in away fixtures anyway.
14 May 2026 11:23:52
Some web sites suggest we wore blue and white hoops, and then blue and white stripes, prior to switching to red stripes. I'll stick with gold and black, thanks.
15 May 2026 06:52:32
To celebrate 150yrs, how about the old gold with the black V and red and white stripe away, and only wear it when we need to, ie Norwich and Watford. It really P's me off when we're not wearing the old gold and there's no need.
Knowing Fosun, there'll be a home, away, 2nd away and anniversary 'special' to maximise sales.
