Seems Danny has gone to Boro a good move for him typical Pulis type of player and a good fit for Boro not one of my favourite players a bit to limited for where we are now and going forward but a fantastic pro with s great attitude a great club man good luck danny.

1.) 31 Aug 2018 17:48:59
And Bright to Kilmarnock probably why we didn't see them playing in the cup match.

2.) 31 Aug 2018 20:33:44
Only Neves and Patricia called up by Portugal.

3.) 31 Aug 2018 20:34:34
Good luck Danny Batth
Great Pro and bleeds gold and black
Some supposed fans on other sites disrespecting him, shows they know nothing about football.

4.) 01 Sep 2018 08:21:29
Scratos people have short memories Batth was among our best players before the Fosun investment in a defense with Doc Stearmam Iorfa Hause Ebanks-Landell we are fortunate to have Boly and Bennett has been a surprisingly good signing and Coady playing in a position that didn't exist before Nuno so good luck Danny you could be in another promotion winning team.

5.) 01 Sep 2018 09:23:39
I agree guys. Danny is Wolves through and through but time moves on and it is clear that he is not in Nuno's plans. Whatever his limitations and whether these will be exposed in the Premier League, he led our team in our rise back from a crisis and his contribution should not be forgotten.

6.) 01 Sep 2018 11:57:54
It's simple, if Batth wants to play regularly he leaves us as he has.

7.) 01 Sep 2018 12:41:47
Batth will win promotion with Middlesbrough snd alongside George Saville there, an England call-up.

8.) 01 Sep 2018 21:20:36
I wish Batth and Saville all the best for the future. A rumour is that Saville’s move will be made permanent for £7.5mil. That shows how far he has improved. That said, neither player is of the standard Nuno expects in the PL.

Got a mate whose a Swansea season ticket holder he reckons we are close to signing Alfie Mawson if it happens I think that it would be a great signing.

Bigste64

1.) 27 Jun 2018 16:02:36
Would be a brilliant signing but I don't believe we are "close" to signing him.

2.) 27 Jun 2018 17:10:25
Mawson would be a great signing young and ambitious.

3.) 27 Jun 2018 18:02:04
I think there are some interesting developments.
1) Most players that’s we were after have either been signed or we were never after. As I think this sporting situation proves.
2) there is an emphasise on finding the right English youngster to join us in a position that would strengthen us. And for the right price according to FFP. I have two thoughts on this-1) the club know the fa and league are planning to put more emphasis on young players coming through. 2) I think it will be a blend between academy and brought in. I am surprised we didn’t look at Maddison but Nuno must have better attacking option so in mind.

4.) 28 Jun 2018 13:37:10
Sorry, but we actually are very close to signing him.

5.) 28 Jun 2018 15:51:29
Evidence?

08 Jun 2018 22:24:34
Patrício has signed and Raul Jimenez signed on loan.

Bigste64

1.) 09 Jun 2018 06:58:01
Haven’t seen anything yet bigste but it’s starting to look that way as they say no smoke without fire and there seems to be a lot of smoke on this one lately especially with sky reporting Napoli are in for one of Barcelona keepers.

2.) 09 Jun 2018 08:52:40
I have heard that wolves are in advanced talks with rui patricio and could sign next week. I hope so.

3.) 09 Jun 2018 11:20:55
RUi Patrício to sign on a free Jimenez to sign on loan next week.

After years of having hopes and dreams banished by pinky and perky we really are lucky to have the owners we have now the transformation in our club in just over a year is staggering all 4 of the west mids big 4 are chinese owned.

but in reality compared to fosun what have they spent? villa splashed out last year but you can say they just spent the parachute money. blues well loads signed but little or no quality and the tescos well what they done fosun have done a fantastic job in sourcing nuno, letting him bring his own team in and leaving the foitball to him.

the players from uncle george are beyond belief imagine what he will deliver when we do reach the premier league, the football is unbelievable. fosun renegotiate nunos contract. this man will build a dynasty we can now hope and dream we have been sold down the river so many times, but this is our time.

we are on a roll and shooting for the top thank you nuno thank u fosun thank you uncle george and thank you dad for telling me at our first game together in 1973 that wolves were the greatest team in the world. you know what, in a few years we might just be wolves aye we.

1.) 06 Nov 2017 21:05:41
Great stuff Bigste64.
I first travelled to watch Wolves v Coventry in 1967 and I have been hooked ever since. Lived in Ireland, Ukraine, Cheltenham and now Nottingham so every game for me has been an away game. Loving every minute now. This is honestly the best football I have ever witnessed at the Molineux.

Thank you Fosun, Jorge, Nuno et al.
Long may the ride continue.
Win the premiership before I pop my clogs and I will die a very happy man. If you can squeeze a champions league title in.
Come on me babbies.

2.) 07 Nov 2017 12:18:22
Bigste64.
Good summary of where we are at compared to the other Chinese-owned local clubs. Fosun mean business, whereas the other owners are just going through the motions.

3.) 07 Nov 2017 17:16:37
And who have we got to be grateful too. One Mr Steve Morgan selling the Club to Fosun me thinks. He left the club in goods hands. Now more often than not that is definitely not the case!

Well done to SM and a huge thanks. ⚽️😉👍.

4.) 07 Nov 2017 19:12:29
It's magic!

5.) 07 Nov 2017 20:27:09
Yes Wolvescoast well said, we have a lot to thank Steve Morgan for, leaving us in safe hands with Fosun, and for the stadium and academy.
Think Morgan took the club as far as he could and realised he could not take we no further, but all credit to him he realy did care what happens to Wolves.

6.) 07 Nov 2017 20:58:58
Have to agree COAST, he put a lot of money into Compton and made the club attractive to purchase.

7.) 08 Nov 2017 23:03:05
Ive been supporting the wolves since the 1950s this is the best football I've seen sines then bill mcgarry and John barnwell had there moments of glory but the football we playing at the moment is unbelieverble Nuno nows how he wants to play and nows exactly the sort of players he wants he wants more signings in January maybe 2or3 in.

8.) 09 Nov 2017 07:14:28
Great time to be a Wolves fan!

One point though; Morgan sold the club to the highest bidder.

Don't credit him and the pieman with some master plan of attracting Fosun. It was luck!

Morgan would not care one little bit about what happened after he had got his money.

9.) 09 Nov 2017 12:55:02
WABFK ofcourse he didn't care that's why he put a clause in the sale saying 30million has to be invested in Wolves as part of the sale.
Give the guy a break he messed up yes but he ensured Wolves were left in safe hands.
If he didn't care why does he still go to Wolves matches?
Moxey on the otherhand I agree he didn't care less but he kept the club debt free which made it more attractive for buyers.
Anyway that was then this is now good times are coming.

10.) 09 Nov 2017 19:36:03
Well spoken RatedRKO, Morgan did the right thing and left the club in safe hands in my opinion and does care about the football club and after all said and done we can see the best football for years being played at our great club I for one thank Morgan for what he as done.

11.) 10 Nov 2017 18:46:41
Agreed ratedrko, what a tossed wabfk must be to say that! Morgan did care, what’s more he even admitted mistakes were made. Some which will have cost him a lot personally! He’s a well known philanthropist, and does a lot for children in need in Africa on their need for clean water, as well as other things.

So a decent man who admits mistakes were made. Improved our club while he was there. He who makes no mistakes isn’t working.! Well done SM and thank you for your positives whilst at the Mol. ⚽️😉👍.

5.) 01 Jul 2017 00:08:32
Read Mol Mix about this, it's funny. They all seem to think it's a done deal for £14m. The 12 o'clock countdown lol.

7.) 01 Jul 2017 00:47:30
From OJogo

There is a good proposal on the table and SAD has the possibility to ease the bills with one more product of the training.

It is the player's manager, Jorge Mendes, who is leading the operation, but Reuben is up to date and prepared for any scenario. If the transfer is not completed today, this can happen in the coming days and be referred to UEFA as an annex to the 2016/ 17 Report and Accounts. Dragons, however, prefer to follow the rule and close what is to close until midnight on June 30, 2017: today, therefore.

8.) 01 Jul 2017 07:05:18
only just seen that we are being linked to ruben neves and I nearly fell off me chair! i'd s**t my pants if we signed him. Seems way to good to be true! Please please Mendes make this happen.

9.) 01 Jul 2017 08:50:33
Can you imagine going from Saville or Edwards to Neves?

21 May 2026 18:18:17
So if we go down the route of replacing Rob who do we get in? Dyche would do a job bought Burnley up then took them in to Europe. Nuno, if he parts ways with West Ham, other tried tested n failed managers a plenty. But for me I want someone with fire in his belly, someone who instantly commands respect, and someone players want to play for.

Lampard was on redemption with cov, did a good job in his first job, then took a big job too quickly. So this man is exactly the same as Lampard: did a great job at his first club then took a big job too quickly, so for me I’d appoint Stephen Gerrard with Coady as number2.

Bigste64

1.) 21 May 2026 19:41:57
Never going to happen.

2.) 21 May 2026 19:52:52
Wolves have hired too many garbage managers. The owners/directors have to stop hiring and sacking dross head coaches. Everything has to change at Wolves in terms of what has to be successful, to either make the head coach successful or make the search for a successful head coach easy.

The club has hinted at this.

The idea of Sean Dyche or any similar type of head coach at Wolves is depressing beyond words. Get everything running as well as it possibly can, and then it will be infinitely easier to find excellent head coaches.

3.) 21 May 2026 20:43:02
I think Edwards will announce next week which players he was talking about as not being good enough. If he and the club act quickly, I may be persuaded to give him a chance.

4.) 21 May 2026 21:57:27
Edwards has to be given a chance. The merry-go-round of dreadful soundbite managers with one eye on the exit door does nothing but drag a club down. Half the gaffers going from club to club are chancers who couldn't run a bath.

To paraphrase something said by a fan at the WM Fans Forum, at least Edwards is English, he's local, he's an ex player, and he loves Wolves. Give him a decent squad, then judge him.

5.) 21 May 2026 22:46:22
I have total respect for Cody and would love to see him involved with the club again in some position, but, just to have him, so Gerrard had someone to interpret for him, is ridiculous!

6.) 22 May 2026 01:28:09
I love Coady as a player. As a manager, I think every player would want to leave after about 20 minutes.

7.) 22 May 2026 08:38:33
Edwards is English, is he? Since when?

8.) 22 May 2026 08:31:09
How many chances do you want to give him Robert Mc CaCall he had 70 + pionts to play for kept playing defefensive football home and away more. excuses then a labour goverment the still thinks he will. get us back up get real

9.) 22 May 2026 11:22:54
Edwards could have had 150 points to play for and it wouldn't have made a difference to Wolves' position. The team he inherited was a monumental heap of s***. Devoid of quality, fight, spirit, leaders, attacking ability, etc.

Any fan who can't see that should stop trolling and find a different sport to follow.

As for the Edwards not being English argument, I won't dignify it with a response. Keep upvoting your daft comments. Good for you.

10.) 22 May 2026 12:18:13
Well, Guardiola is available if he's up for a new challenge different to what he's used to!

11.) 22 May 2026 12:20:53
Why don't you admit you're a big fan of his. We know he inherited a poor team, but he could have played with a bit more adventure.

12.) 22 May 2026 12:43:35
I think you misunderstand Robert, Edwards was born to Welsh parents and has represented his country. I think the only person you are insulting by calling him English is actually Edwards himself! ? Don't believe me then just ask a Welsh person.

Is the squad he inherited worse than Burnleys? Not according to TransferMarket it ain't, but we are still below them aren't we. Like I've said before no one expected Rob to keep is up but they did expect more than 0. 64 ppm average! That average makes him around the fourth worst perofming manager ever in the Prem, I say around fourth because the person he's replacing around that mark is in fact himself during his Luton stint!

As for Gerard no thanks, the guys achieved less than Rob (I could have won the league with Rangers back then:) and has been entirely found out since Beale has stopped assisting/running training for him!
Personally I would go for the same person we should have gone for when we signed Edwards, although I very seriously doubt he would even consider it now.

Brendan Rodgers is and was an infinitely better and more experienced manager than Edwards and we may have had a chance back when we sacked VP. But I suspect we didn't want to pay the wages and we didn't want to give him the funds he would have expected to genuinely try to fight relegation. Instead we went for a budget basement Championship manager for a soon to be budget basement championship team.

As Long said a few days ago what's the long term plan with Edwards exactly? Say by some absolute miracle he gets us back up first time (which there is virtually no chance will happen) what then? He's proven over two stints that he's simply not ready to compete in the Prem yet, that isn't magically changing just cause he's had an extra season in the Champ I'm afraid. All academic I suspect cause like I say Fosun have clearly accepted that we are going back to being a mid table championship journeyman team! ?

13.) 23 May 2026 09:03:06
Sorry bb, but most people on here didn't expect us to get above Derby's record total. But now we all expected Edwards to do better than he has? Too many with short memories where nothing is good enough.

13 May 2026 19:54:05
I can never understand why our away kit has never been red and white stripes, given that was our original kit, given it’s our 150th anniversary next season, perhaps a nod to our past would be in order.

Bigste64

1.) 13 May 2026 22:06:54
And Gold & Black stripes for home kit.

2.) 13 May 2026 22:36:46
Absolutely great shout.

3.) 14 May 2026 08:23:02
I'm sure there was a debate and fans were asked and given choices.

4.) 14 May 2026 11:12:32
Call me old-fashioned, but I'd rather have the famous old gold and black as our away kit wherever possible. It actually very rarely clashes in away fixtures anyway.

5.) 14 May 2026 11:23:52
Some web sites suggest we wore blue and white hoops, and then blue and white stripes, prior to switching to red stripes. I'll stick with gold and black, thanks.

6.) 15 May 2026 06:52:32
To celebrate 150yrs, how about the old gold with the black V and red and white stripe away, and only wear it when we need to, ie Norwich and Watford. It really P's me off when we're not wearing the old gold and there's no need.
Knowing Fosun, there'll be a home, away, 2nd away and anniversary 'special' to maximise sales.

Who would make your Mount Rushmore of wolves players you’ve seen play? I’d go:

Munro
Hibbitt
Richards
Bull

Bigste64

1.) 19 Dec 2025 04:46:28
Mine would be:
Bull
Neves
Moutinho
Geoff Thomas
Ince
Irwin
Controversial the Thomas one I know but I remember watching his first few games for us and he was absolutely a class act and I genuinely believe if he hadn’t of been absolutely mullered by lee howey in a tackle that effectively ended his career we would of gone up that season under Graham Taylor

2.) 19 Dec 2025 07:57:16
Just realised you said Mount Rushmore so once and Irwin will just have to be statues at the bottom looking up ?

3.) 19 Dec 2025 08:06:42
Ooh that's difficult bigst. I can't ignore Billy Wright, Ron Flowers, Frankie Munroe of course. Then there's Waggy, Parkin, Bailey, Hibbet,
Bully, Neves, Richards I could go on and on but to typify the wolves

Wright
Richards
Bully
Neves

A fair selection of decades?

4.) 19 Dec 2025 10:03:29
You can't forget

David Burnside
Alan Boswell
John Farrington

Oh . I almost forgot PETER BROADBENT

5.) 19 Dec 2025 10:55:23
I'm selecting one from each position from 1990

Matt Murray, Lescott, Neves and Bull.

6.) 19 Dec 2025 10:55:37
Even though a sadly short career, Matt Murray. Any other goalies?

7.) 19 Dec 2025 11:50:18
Wright, Dougan, Rae, Hennessy, though Wright just before my time, represent multiple positions, eras and the 4 home nations.

8.) 19 Dec 2025 12:54:43
Goalie Bert Williams by a mile.
So for me Williams, Wright, Mike Bailey, Neves.

9.) 19 Dec 2025 15:28:16
Only players I saw playing: Ron Flowers, Peter Broadbent, Jimmy Murray (look at his scoring record 1957/60!) Steve Bull. Bully for his massive affect on our club after the darkest time in our history. He restored our shattered pride.

10.) 19 Dec 2025 16:50:13
Williams
Irwin
De wolfe
Munro
Parkin
Wright
Neves
Moutinho
Richards
Dougan
Bull

11.) 19 Dec 2025 17:13:14
Much
Bull
Munro
Wagstaff

12.) 19 Dec 2025 18:24:17

Very interesting news that Raúl has signed a new 4 year deal given he could literally have gone to any club he desired in this window. The thing I would take out of it is that Fosun have clearly given Jiménez assurance about what they intend doing in the next couple of years I think maybe failing UEFA ffp rules has hampered us this window but on paper we have plenty of young talent for nuno to nurture. The progress over the last 3 years has been staggering and maybe this season will be a consolidating one and we push on next season. don't think there’s any doubting Fosuns commitment and ambition for our club remains as strong as ever onwards and upwards.

Ok so we fire Edwards who realistically are we going to attract? Who would want to put there reputation on the line and work under the clowns that own the club.Best part of 60 million banked in January 7 spent we all know we won’t be spending that 50 odd million or the 100 plus million that will come in the summer we will sign has beens and free transfers only wolves could get rid of one incompetent ceo and appoint one equally as bad I don’t think guo understands just what a pigs ear esports billy made from a squad on the verge of champions league football to a squad on the verge of the championship with just one win.Is Edwards the man? truth is with owners who don’t care and a ceo whose knowledge of football you could write on the back of a postage stamp it really doesn’t matter who the manager is nothing will change under this regime.
