We have not done anywhere near enough in the transfer - again, it all feels like Groundhog Day. I don’t blame some fans’ forebodings … it doesn’t look good unless we bring in more quality. Bashing other fans doesn’t help either.

Agreed. Our squad has been poor for years, yet all of the previous managers were able to get a song out of them and surge up the table... Edwards has done neither. Nice guy, but under RE and Fosun, we are going nowhere.

Just had a dose of perspective … I was there under Jackett in league 1 and will be there no matter what league we’re in. Getting relegated isn’t the end of the world for us - but it is for Fosun … we will be here long after they’ve gone tail between their legs. I obviously don’t want relegation but to see shi embarrassed in front of his Chinese bosses … it’s very big in their culture … well it’s almost worth it

In Cunha and Jao we have stars, match winners even, in Lemina and Dawson we have a spine to hold everything together … other than that we have pretenders… maybe Andre or Mosquera will grow into the season but short story is Fosun have left the building … she wants out and she ain’t returning our calls … it is a difficult start but we only look Good in bursts … GON performed miracles last season and it’s given them confidence to strip more assets.
Still think we have enough quality and fighting spirit to stay up … but it’s time to start looking for a new sugar daddy
