No matter what you think of Rob, love him or hate him. Whether he's won or lost games, played attractive or boring football. If the reports are true, that he heard of his dismissal via his family on social media, it still an utterly disgusting way to treat a human being.
1.) 11 Jun 2026 15:27:29
Bag to agree, that is shameful behaviour. Regardless of whatever you think of RE, it's a bad way to treat anyone. Hope he takes them to a tribunal and takes them to the cleaners.
2.) 11 Jun 2026 17:05:46
A tribunal for what?
How many managers take their ex-clubs to a tribunal?
3.) 11 Jun 2026 20:27:59
I'm no lawyer, but I would be surprised if any pay off doesn't include a confidentiality clause.
06 Nov 2025 19:29:40
Percy (the Telegraph) reporting that Boro have refused the wolves request to formally speak to Rob Edwards
1.) 06 Nov 2025 20:18:04
Yes they did mate few other sources confirmed it.
2.) 07 Nov 2025 06:41:40
No great surprise, Wolves are on their knees, if Edwards is what Shi wants, then Boro will look to screw him for compensation (apparently there is a release clause).
If Edwards is Shi's next choice, I think next year, likely to be in the Championship, it will be a different squad and a struggle.again.
Fosun should be sorting out he Leadership of the Club as well. Shi is taking us down!

JSL not named in the squad at all today, wasn’t at the team hotel last night.
1.) 30 Aug 2025 09:23:09
Oh wow
2.) 30 Aug 2025 09:23:37
We could be in trouble today, for the game as well as the obvious.
3.) 30 Aug 2025 09:38:03
Think I need to change my Super6 prediction
4.) 30 Aug 2025 09:38:36
According to X we've just had an offer of £30 Mill rejected for Matthis Abline. Read into that what you will.
5.) 30 Aug 2025 09:51:21
Think it’s obvious now that they’re looking for replacements. But surely you don’t sell your main goal threat, with only 3 days left, if you haven’t secured the signings
6.) 30 Aug 2025 10:04:25
HTP I believe you are right.
Liverpool will get there man as they always do - meaning JSL or Wissa going to Newcastle. Reading between the lines with the gossip that is saying VP would be happy for Yuri Alberto to replace JSL if possible, plus we don’t usually keep players that say they would be happy to go, it all looks like a late £60-£65m offer could be successful. We are being prepared for the inevitable, but we need another forward. I still believe that will be a loan with VP praying it will be Yuri
7.) 30 Aug 2025 10:15:09
Read yesterday that JSL had a ‘light injury’ and VP didn’t want to risk him. All very dodgy. Is Larsen really injured or has he become a Manchild? Only time will tell. I’d rather he go than damage our chances of getting points - as Cunha did.
8.) 30 Aug 2025 11:15:05
If the Korean starts today he's staying. and we simply cannot play a player with 0 confidence. Hope somebody else has goals in them.we'll see.
9.) 30 Aug 2025 11:16:03
He's injured. The timing of the injury has piqued the interests of the media who are putting 2 and 2 together and making 5.
10.) 30 Aug 2025 11:37:28
Matthis Abline still does not want to come to Wolves.
11.) 30 Aug 2025 11:38:53
He could have an injury, could be his head is not really in the right place, could be that he is going to be sold, or possibly VP just doesn't know if he's going to be sold or a combination of the above.
12.) 30 Aug 2025 12:23:53
Clearly Wolves need strikers better than all of the ones currently at the club bar JSL, so selling him seems mad.
But if Vitor has 2 targets in mind that he believes are good enough and both can be obtained for the price Wolves can sell JSL for then, although I am hugely sceptical, fair enough.
Doing all this in the last few hours of the transfer window seems, to put it mildly, "difficult". Also even if Vitor believes they (the unknown, yet to arrive strikers), are good enough they at best will take a few weeks to settle and surely still carry a high risk of not making the grade.
Far far from a happy place and with the Everton game, one of probably something like 8 games Wolves have to save the season, taking place this afternoon without any of the soln's in place it is i'm afraid another shambles!
(I accept if JSL really is injured then it is only the failure to have adequate back ups in place that is Jeff's fault not JSL's injury! Before I am told that Jeff isn't to blame for JSL's injury)
13.) 30 Aug 2025 13:09:09
But we do have back up for JSL. Hwang and Sasa. The problem is that they are not good enough and VP cannot move them on because everyone has seen what they can do and are not interested. They fitted the system of the managers that brought them in, not VPs.
29 Aug 2025 17:32:22
Quick question for the Ed’s….
It’s gone a bit quiet with Newcastle and Larsen, but the general idea was they were after a replacement for Isak and Wilson. Do you think they’ll come back with a bigger, improved offer over the weekend? Or do you think they’ll still bag Wissa to play alongside the big German lad
{Ed001's Note - I expect it to be Wissa and Woltemade now. Wolves rejected their bids.}
1.) 29 Aug 2025 18:01:32
Thanks Ed 001
{Ed001's Note - very welcome.}
28 Aug 2025 13:08:07
From what I’m reading now, Larsen has told wolves he would Respectfully like to leave, to head north. But Jeff Shi has told him he’s not leaving in this window, and he’s also told Newcastle that JSL is not for sale, or moving, this summer.
If that’s correct, it’s about the only thing that Shi has got right
1.) 28 Aug 2025 13:27:44
Yes I read this on molineux news - ? Jorgen Strand Larsen politely informed Wolves of wish to make Newcastle move. Chairman Jeff Shi told 25yo not possible this window. Well done Jeff, hopefully jsl doesn’t thro toys out of pram.
2.) 28 Aug 2025 13:37:59
I said this very thing yesterday but no one believed me.
3.) 28 Aug 2025 13:51:43
Jeff Shi will use this as an excuse to sell him on Monday.
4.) 28 Aug 2025 14:33:12
What the club will be weighing up is will we get more money for him in January or next Summer than we are being offered now? And also does keeping mean we will definitely stay up but if we sell him we are likely to get relegated. I guess no one really knows the answer to those questions but if the club believe we will stay up and we won’t get more money in January or next summer then selling now makes sense.
5.) 28 Aug 2025 16:22:47
What would you do Ruitonwolf?
Seems easy to moan and blame Fosun but fans don't offer realistic or decent options to strengthen the team
I think £65M+ for JSL is wild money considering we signed him 8 weeks ago.
I think we need to strengthen through the spine of the team really another cb, x2 cm and a forward needed.
Disappointed Soler and Renato Sanches have been missed.
I think Casado and Uche would be great.
Still think there are a few deals that could be done Disasi, Casado, Arokadare and Alberto would be class and really strengthen the team even if JSL leaves.
6.) 28 Aug 2025 16:26:53
Slinger no we won't. He's only commanding that sort of fee because of the situation Newcastle are in. I very much doubt any other club would pay that much for him. He's good but he's not £60m good is he if we are honest!
7.) 28 Aug 2025 18:05:43
It's also fine mentioning all those names but NONE of them are homegrown and we're at the limit for overseas players so it would have to be 1 in 1 out
8.) 28 Aug 2025 18:06:27
Slinger, I agree with you entirely, but you know what Shi is like.
9.) 29 Aug 2025 00:32:58
I don’t see why if Larsen scores another 14-18 goals this season why his value would not be 65-75 at end of season. Goal scorers are hard to come by and he has shown he can cut it. If he was more consistent however last season he could have had closer to 20 goals and in a team like us that is fantastic.
10.) 29 Aug 2025 12:28:49
Wolfie if that's the case why are we linked with Akorodare, Uche, Kenneth Taylor?
They are all foreign as well.

On a serious note, just read of the ex W*** B*** player Quevin Castro passing away after collapsing on the pitch in Portugal.
No matter who he played for, or how much we hate Sandwell, it’s terrible to hear of such a young man losing his life. 25 is no age for anyone to pass away, it really is tragic, terrible news.
1.) 22 Aug 2026 23:23:33
Hadn't seen that story. How awful! We can hate the Baggies as much as we want, but football is just football, so any 25 year old passing is a horrific tragedy. Thoughts for his fam and the Baggies. So sad. ?
2.) 23 Aug 2026 00:03:42
Saw him playing for York a couple of seasons ago. Incredibly sad news.
3.) 23 Aug 2026 10:08:58
Hadn't heard of him, but no matter what club or country it's awful to hear of someone so young passing. It is indeed sad news to hear, and my thoughts go out to his family, friends, and associates.
4.) 23 Aug 2026 13:06:47
Very sad news indeed. Is it my imagination, or are these deaths and serious on-pitch incidents becoming more common compared to the 1970s, when I first started following the game?
17 Aug 2026 17:46:19
Have you seen the bidding for Manny’s scarf? Last I saw it was at £800.
Respect for Manny as always, and to Raul for authorising the sale.
Both of them absolute legends. Manny does brilliantly for his Dementia charity. A hell of a man.
15 Aug 2026 10:57:02
You got to say, what a fantastic gesture from Raul, and his family. Giving every seat in the South Bank a Si Senor scarf and with it, a really nice card from Raul and Daniel.
Not only a grand gesture but the fact he took time to help put them on our seats pre match. It's no wonder the man has such a place in our hearts, an absolute legend.
{Ed001's Note - it was actually all his wife. Her idea and she organised it.}
1.) 15 Aug 2026 14:02:23
I'm sure they would have discussed it.
Being married and all that.
2.) 15 Aug 2026 14:33:12
That's a really decent thing to do.
Not many players/ families would do that.
Well done, the Jimenez family, not just thinking of the money, thinking of the fans.
True, decent people.
15 Aug 2026 08:59:33
I see, even this morning, the so called ‘experts’, are still debating whether last night’s handball was inside or outside the box.
I think I speak for every Wolf, when I say - We Don’t Care. Important thing is the ref said it was.
After all the times we’ve felt we were robbed by VAR, it was so nice to stand there last night, see it given, and not have it overruled by someone 100 miles away. As we sing in the Mol……….. F*** VAR.
1.) 15 Aug 2026 11:30:48
I thought we should have had pen earlier for a foul on Jiminez. It was close, I know, but I wonder how VAR would have viewed that? Essentially, it's someone's opinion, wherever they may be. Still frames, slow mo, etc., often show a different picture to actual events.
Freeze a continuous video of somebody laughing, and at some point you'll catch a frown, if you're with me. The ref gave a pen as he saw it, that's good enough for me.
20 Jul 2026 08:21:00
If the World Cup is a sign of how our beloved game is going, I don’t think I want to know. Half hour break for half time, all the razzmatazz, a singing frog and pig, Justin Bieber, two all-time greats driving a pensioner into “sing”, and the hydration breaks, which basically is what the USA wanted- four quarters.
Stop the bus, I want to get off. ??
1.) 20 Jul 2026 08:46:35
The only good part was Ted Lasso, then it just went downhill. No disrespect.
2.) 20 Jul 2026 08:53:12
Well said, halftime. Also, the weird announcers. All too much. The football is slightly secondary, and how players are meant to stop tightening up with a 25 minute halftime is a real challenge. It's all about squeezing in adverts on US television. Money is the driver for FIFA... not the game. I suspect for that reason the USA will get the competition more than most.
3.) 20 Jul 2026 09:05:50
Don't get me started on Robbie Williams and the Tom Cruise speech.
4.) 20 Jul 2026 13:25:58
At least we'll all get to count down til ko, eh?
5.) 20 Jul 2026 15:39:36
HalfTimePie, It's not a genuine World Cup when we know all the players, as we see them all the time playing in all the Euro competitions, and all the top countries have Premier League players. It's probably why England fail; they're always playing against their team mates, a bit like the old Home Internationals, which actually threw up better games, were more interesting, and we sometimes actually won the thing.
25 Aug 2026 13:38:16
Big John would be an excellent signing. Not only a damn good keeper, but a great bloke to have on the training pitch and in the dressing room, very vocal, very enthusiastic. It wouldn't be a bad move to bring him back, then get him his training badges. He could turn out to be a good long-term asset to the squad.
14 Jun 2026 12:29:33
No, no, no, no, no. Please not Adama again.
I'm in row Z in the South Bank, he's hit me with too many "crosses" already.
13 Jun 2026 08:09:28
Isn't he a right-back? The same as Trippier.
04 May 2026 17:32:51
The guy who confronted Nathan is the one who saw Jeff at Compton.
04 May 2026 15:51:02
Harry Mansell didn't make the video, Good, just reposted it. The guy who made it posted it on his Facebook page, apparently.
10 Aug 2026 17:26:21
Liverpool get Bezos, we, on the other hand, are run by Bozos.
05 Aug 2026 09:01:35
I think the fact he is captain for his country says a lot. Like NJWolf says, we've no way of seeing the best of him, or what he's capable of.
28 Jul 2026 09:56:42
He's about 6 foot 15 and couldn't out jump Dennis Wise. ??
20 Jul 2026 09:05:50
Don't get me started on Robbie Williams and the Tom Cruise speech.
07 Jul 2026 17:27:46

Don't drag me into it.
