Chan agreed personal terms with crystal Palace and look set to go if a fee is to be worked out between both sides. I’m torn on this one because yeah he hasn’t been great last season and a half Ish but when he’s on, he’s one of the best finishers in our team and can School, but it is probably the best thing for him if he moves on because he is just stuck in a rut at the moment I’m still concerned because we need more attackers and forwards and as the GSL rumors continue to grow, surely FOSUN would not sanction that because we would have nobody up front and I don’t know how you would survive.

Fosun are businessmen not football.
The promises from day 1 about being in the champions league and winning a trophy within 10 years as well as doing the stadium up haven't been kept. So don't be surprised. Relegation is guaranteed

2.) 20 Aug 2025 07:51:57
??? "I'm sick of the happy clappers"???

??? "Forsun out! "???

??? "Jeff Shi "???

??? "No ambition"???

??? "No stadium extension" ???

??? "Sleep walking into relegation" ???

I think I covered most main talking points, from the same posters.

3.) 20 Aug 2025 08:05:38
You'd best put all of your savings/house on a bet to that effect Hendy. If its guaranteed, you can't lose.

4.) 20 Aug 2025 08:58:24
???we wouldn’t be where we are without fosun
??? we signed neves, mouthino, Patricio, jota
??? 8 years of premier league football
???
Think I’ve covered the points from the same posters

5.) 20 Aug 2025 09:38:42
Fosun did what they said they would do right up until COVID-19. They obviously don't have the same money since a big chunk of their fortune was wiped out. They are now treading water with us because that's all they can afford to do, so pointless to keep on berating them about lack of ambition. A new buyer is our only option.

6.) 20 Aug 2025 09:54:35
Excellent Fordhouses, I really did think this summer was going to be different and here we are, starting the season having sold established players replacing them with no time to get up to speed, with possibly good future players to sell on. Same as last few seasons, depressing when the best we can hope for is 17th, unless VP can work miracles, that is of course if he remains.

7.) 20 Aug 2025 10:19:03
Well said camo
While I appreciate what fosun did in the past the unfortunate fact is that the fosun business model when they bought us and the current business model they operate under are like chalk and chews it may as well be two completely different companies, if the current way of operating continues it will not and cannot succeed in the money pit that is the premier league, that’s just a stone cold fact
So the only way we will be anything other than relegation candidates season after season is they go back to funding the club or they sell

8.) 20 Aug 2025 11:19:02
I'm disappointed with how short the team has been left starting the season.
But I would say that the bigger clubs Man Utd, City, Chelsea and Arsenal have only announced the players they don't need the past 8-10 days. Maybe this is due to CWC but there is still a lot of players that would improve the quality of the Wolves squad either as signings or loans.
Players will wait to see what there best chance is of getting in WC squads next year.
Sanchez and Pubill could be the full backs for Spain next summer. We can moan but you can see that the club has aimed to replace players with quality. Still think Jackson and Moller Wolfe will be successes to be fair.
Also we can say we need quality then claim the club should sign anyone (which has happened on this rumour site aswell).
Yes Sunderland have signed players for example but West Ham were poor last season so I don't think there strategy is any better than ours to be honest.
From the x amount of signings around 25% will be a success that's the way it is in the prem. You look like a transfer guru if its rights but a plonker if it turns out like Cutrone, Guedes, Nunes and Silva.
Genuinely if we got Disasi, Fofana, Vieira, Casado and Uche would be a strong finish to the window.
Thats 8 signings not sure where Hwang and Silva would fit in around that though.
Vitor needs to put his foot down on players he actually wants.

9.) 20 Aug 2025 12:01:32
From what I've seen of Hwang when his tail is up he's capable of scoring in any game, but when he loses confidence he goes missing. Add to that his injury record and when he has been in good form the injury usually puts a stop to it.

Players will start adjusting their expectations around moves over the next couple of weeks with either wage demands, the level they want to play at to play regularly and whether they and their clubs are open to loans.

The thing we don't know is how active a part the club will play in that time either successfully or not.

10.) 20 Aug 2025 15:49:07
How many emojis if we are relegated?
Is there an egg on face emoji?

Stop having a go at concerned Wolves fans

11.) 20 Aug 2025 16:08:20
Hi Madman seems to me the quality players we've tried to sign
dont want to come to us

12.) 20 Aug 2025 17:48:15
Hwang was flying and wudv got 20 goals for us if it wernt for the bloody asia cup.he came back injured and has never been the same since.shame

Shame. We should have won that. Gomes should have come on sooner and Tolu! We needed to attack more second half.

Cracking finish, Armstrong. Great touch to set himself up. Hopefully we play much better second half.

Shame that Chelsea just get a slap on the wrist. A small fine that they can easily pay and a transfer ban for those secret payments to agents. They should have had a massive points reduction to put them in the relegation zone!

VB_Wolf

1.) 16 Mar 2026 17:31:36
Even the transfer ban is suspended for 2 years, I think, VB. Meanwhile, Leicester are facing League One next year because of points deduction, and still we await the City saga to come to an end. What will happen there? Do a hundred lines and pay the equivalent of one Haaland toe?

2.) 16 Mar 2026 18:14:55
Whilst I generally agree with your premise (e.g. what's happened to City's fines?), this is very different. It happened under the last regime, and the current regime reported it. I'm not Chelsea's biggest fan, but it would seem a little harsh to give them a points deduction when it was a different owner and they reported it themselves?

3.) 16 Mar 2026 19:55:49
That's a fair point, Bullys. It's just the imbalance of punishment, or the impression of, that grinds.

4.) 17 Mar 2026 11:58:26
Did Chelsea report it to try and soften what they know is possibly on the horizon?
You don't shoot yourself in the foot for no reason, they might have been tipped off and decided to jump before being pushed.

{Ed001's Note - no, the FA/Premier League/UEFA had no idea until they self-reported. It was simply because they found it and wanted to start with a clean slate.}

13 Mar 2026 21:19:22
Good news about tickets prices. Deductions of 25% or more depending on where you sit, if your a youth etc. that has to be good news for season ticket holders!

VB_Wolf

1.) 14 Mar 2026 11:55:24
Next season we will be in the Championship VB, so any price reductions surely just reflect on that. I see there's also talk of upgrading the commercial departments, presumably with a view to improving incomes, sponsorships, etc.

More engagement with the fans is to be welcomed as well, but anything on ground development? Unless that's linked to future commercial improvements.

2.) 14 Mar 2026 12:02:08
The reduction in ticket prices is due to the reduction in the quality of the team.
If the owners believed they could sell tickets at current prices, there would be no reduction.
More players will be sold to offset ticket price reductions.
If fans want to watch cheap football, there are other options.

3.) 14 Mar 2026 19:35:01
Exactly, all these people creaming their pants because they have announced a reduction are cracking me up. A top end ST at the minute is around the 840 pound mark; now 25% off is making it 630 pound. Coventry's premium season ticket is currently 600, so no, it's not Fosun "taking a different direction", it's just aligning us with top end Championship sides.

Now, if by some miracle we stay up (we won't), I can bet a pound to a pinch of Albion the tickets won't come down 25%; we will still have one of the most expensive st in the Championship next season. This is Fosun doing what they do best, feeding us s*** and some people are calling it ice cream.

4.) 14 Mar 2026 19:50:27
Should say that's what I pay. ? I think our most expensive is about the 950 mark, so that will be around the 720 ballpark for Championship football.
Oooohhhhh Fosun are doing us all a fabulous service.
Wake up and smell the coffee, peeps, Fosun only give a monkeys about Fosun.

What was the other sound bite Shi Mark 2 said, something like football first or along those lines. Now, unless I'm much mistaken, we are a football club, so why should, or has it been, anything other than football first.

5.) 14 Mar 2026 21:14:18
Just to give a different opinion, Coventry have an average of 29000 this season. Their highest average attendance since the 70s, I believe. It might have something to do with why their prices are lower, as they have not been able to sell out for 50-odd years. I am sure next season their prices will go up accordingly, as more fans want to watch Prem football, so demand will be higher.
A quick Google to see how Middlesbrough compare, and their top price is 780, so more expensive than us.

Now I am not saying I agree with the prices, tbh I think they are all stupidly expensive.

But each club differs in their own valuation, depending on amount of fans, etc. To compare us to one other team does not give a true picture of whether we are too expensive or roughly the same as others. The only way to tell is if we do not sell them all, in effect Fosun will shoot themselves in the foot if they have judged it badly.

My gripe is with train fares, it would cost me 2-3 times more than the price of a season ticket to attend the games. I would say it is cheaper to drive, but in the current climate that is probably not true.

6.) 14 Mar 2026 22:09:00
Not sure about that, Goat. I'm fairly positive Boro is the most expensive st in the Championship, and that comes in at 620. Blues is about 320, and QPR, a London club, is even less than that. Make no mistake, unless Spurs come down with us, we will have the most expensive ticket in the Championship.

7.) 14 Mar 2026 23:15:26
Not sure what to say, De, just saying what I can see. So we are clear, im not deliberately trying to argue with you, as I know we keep disputing things. Just trying to give the other side of the coin.

Obviously im using the most expensive ticket price I can see, as I thought that was what you mentioned earlier. Boro, I'm seeing west upper @781 and east upper @736. Their lowest price is 620.

Blues I'm seeing @580 with club class (whatever that is) more expensive still. If it's renewal it's £50 off the price above. Their lowest renewal price is @320.

As for QPR, they have a weird loyalty scheme seating system, with prices ranging from platinum @713, getting lower through gold, silver, bronze, and blue being their cheapest seats @305 new (again a bit cheaper for renewal).

So with our highest being around 700, that doesn't seem far off the mark, and again I'd argue all those clubs vary in circumstances. Blues just coming up, QPR being down the bottom for a while, etc., so of course prices will vary.

So unless Boro go up (hoping they won't personally), we won't have the most expensive by around £80. Not sure I can be bothered to research the rest of the Champ prices.

8.) 14 Mar 2026 23:22:28
Ok, so I thought I'd just check one of the relegated clubs last season. Southampton, they gave their fans a 5% discount on the previous season prices when they were in the prem. Their top price for the 25/26 season comes in at a massive £855, no matter if you're an adult, over 65, or a disabled 14 year old, which just seems a bit shocking.

9.) 15 Mar 2026 09:27:24
I get where you are coming from, Goat. I think the point I'm trying to make is people seem to be going on that Fosun are doing us this massive service by cutting the prices, but they aren't. They are just making the same as most other Championship clubs, not this "oh my god look what they are doing it's amazing". It is not; it's perfectly normal for when a club gets relegated.

The problem we have is we have effectively been gaslighted by them, and they have crapped on the fans for such a long time and treated us all with contempt. When they do something that any other club would do, people go crazy and make out they are brilliant.
I've said before, Fosun care about Fosun.

So poor by Unai to have left the field before the final whistle and not shake RE's hand.

Last week, we had Paul Merson moaning about Arsenal after the 1-1 draw, with little respect for our team, and this evening we have had 45 mins of Lee Hendrix crying over this Villa defeat. No mention of our terrific effort, with less than 40% possession in both games. Fantastic performance from our lads in the last 2 games. Keep it going.

2.) 01 Mar 2026 00:34:15
Trot Boy, that seems to be the norm for us Wolves fans, although it was quite refreshing on MOTD tonight, for them to talk positively about Wolves for more than 5 seconds, and to do it before the negativity of our opponents! Let's hope that win ignites a flame, and we do the double on the Pool next week, although I have to say they looked good today against West Ham, so time will tell, I guess.

Far too cheap. We need to tell teams if you want him then this is what you need to pay. I would have said 20m personally. We are too nice and cheap when we sell our players.

I don’t see why if Larsen scores another 14-18 goals this season why his value would not be 65-75 at end of season. Goal scorers are hard to come by and he has shown he can cut it. If he was more consistent however last season he could have had closer to 20 goals and in a team like us that is fantastic.

We will be one of the big teams next season. We need to start acting like it. We need to be buying and loaning players to make us bounce back. Fosun want to be back in the Prem straight away, so they can keep making money. I think we will give it a good shot next season.

Exactly, at the end of the day, it's a game of football. There are more important things in life, but it's amazing how this game sucks you in and gets the emotions rolling after a game.

That being said, it would be nice to think the authorities and the social media companies will do something, but the low life losers will just make other accounts and hide behind their screens. Coyw.

I was just going to say get Frank in. Terrible at spurs; he will prob walk easily into another prem team but would give him a chance to re build us and prove any doubters wrong. We would also start becoming a Danish team and no longer a Portuguese side!
