How did we not score more than 1 Mosquera header Armstrong post nearly men ay we?

Raul Jimenez coming back to Wolves?! Romain Saiss coming back to Wolves?!
Let the good times roll!
Nathan Shi is on his way to greatness!
17 May 2026 19:59:56
If, and it's a big if, we resign Raul, what a statement of intent that will be. Straight away it gets everyone onside again. Don't expect he'd lead the line all season, but what a squad addition he would be.
17 May 2026 20:45:49
Yerson is garbage in front of goal with headers.... Saiss & Jiminez are past it... for the Championship... really. 🫣 🫣 🫣.... Armstrong is a goal every 10 games anyway..... We're in a mess.. keep RE we're doomed... keep the players who we cant sell we're doomed.....
We have 1game.... 1game..... win at Burnley and get off bottom..... (presuming they lose at Arsenal).... if RE cant getem up for this game away win.... he should be sacked and left to walk home...... if hes in charge after not doing so..... im done.

I know some are going to slate me for this but I'm gonna write it anyway as this is what I feel having seen today's performance.
Yes, I admit that it was a better display, well until we scored anyway.
After that, Fulham dominated the game but for once, our defence held firm thanks in no part to the experience of Krejci and Santi. Had Toti have been on the pitch, we would have lost but the one thing I noticed (and the reason why some will slaters me) is Hwang's performance.
Yes, he got the assist and nearly got a 2nd but other than that, he offered nothing. Now I sit in the North Bank so saw Wolves attacking that goal.
In the first half. Mane, Rodrigo and Armstrong were all getting at the Fulham defence and trying to create some space which could be attacked. Hwang, on the other hand, didn't. Just before he got the assist, he had the ball, misplaced it and then fell over. It was thanks to the fall that he happened to be in the right area when the ball returned off a deflection for him to pass it to Mane who scored.
Hwang casually walks into the area whenever Wolves were attacking.
In the 2nd half, Fulham brought on Raul. From the get go, he was winning or at least challenging for everything and then sprinting into the box to offer an outlet.
17 May 2026 19:14:38
Hwang hasn't been good enough for years. Ran and Cunha briefly made him look half decent. Wolves have only been playing him for commercial reasons. That's not Hwang's fault.
I hope he finds a new club and does well. I don't agree with Wolves fans cheering when he's substituted.
17 May 2026 17:13:36
What a sad state of affairs. Players, who've played their last game at home for Wolves, hurriedly waving goodbye to 2, 500 fans who are singing "Si Senor"!
There has to be a complete clear out, and that includes the coaching staff.
17 May 2026 18:14:08.
B O Bill, from what I saw, the players all walked around and applauded the fans. As you say, a complete clear-out, everybody knows that Wolves start from now. Sell and build a team to get straight back, as Nathan Shi said, that's the aim.
Will it happen? Don't know, but Shi wasn't shy on his comments about how the club was run before. Hopefully, this Shi will turn things round and get Wolves back in the PL, if he says what's true.
17 May 2026 16:01:01
For me, we should keep Krejci, Mane, R. Gomes, maybe Santi, and then everyone else needs to be replaced.
17 May 2026 17:35:50
Agreed.
17 May 2026 19:28:37
You must have forgotten Hugo? Player of the season by a country mile.
17 May 2026 15:54:54
Thought I had seen Armstrong and Hwang were starting. Must have got it wrong, not seen them yet.
Good goal Mane, as others have said he is only reason we have got as many points as we have.
17 May 2026 17:50:16
Armstrong gives 100% but he's not a Premier League player. Painfully out of his depth.
I'm genuinely starting to worry about next season. I don't think Rob is capable of turning things around.
(As much as Wolves fans need to stop harping on about the good old days), Nuno had an arrogance about him that he could carry off. He talked the talk and walked the walk. Rob is all talk.
17 May 2026 18:29:12
Armstrong and Tolu can do one for me.
Along with Lima, Doc, Toti, Johnstone, Bentley, plus anyone else who doesn't want to be here.
17 May 2026 18:58:20
B O Bill, if that was Armstrong giving 100% God help us when he plays under par.
17 May 2026 15:16:56
Hwang on again.
What a bloody joke.
We gotta have somebody surely.
Better than him to play.
Is Edwards getting a back hander?
Off someone to play him.
No hope for next season then.
17 May 2026 15:57:38
Great goal from Mane and a decent save for his other effort.
But realistically, Fulham should be 2-3 up without the unfortunate pen.
They still haven't got any true system in them. It looks like it's kick and see where it goes.
Rodrigo is the one making a difference on the right, Hwang's trying to be too clever and misfiring.
Armstrong is where he's expecting the ball to be, instead of getting to it.
Defence, who's calling it?
Can't see RE's words carrying any weight. What will he change for the 2nd half? I can only see another loss coming.
17 May 2026 17:16:07
And the changes? Too late with Bellegarde and Tolu, a striker? Poor Hugo and Lima couldn't get enough time to make any impact.
We haven't got anyone other than Mane capable of shooting on sight. Tolu and Mosquiro haven't headed a ball on target all year.
OK, Armstrong was unlucky, but that's one effort.
Players for next season?
Kreicji, Santi, Rodrigo, Bruno, Armstrong, Mane, although I'm not confident any will stay bar Armstrong.
What a spectacular squib of a final prem game at the Mol. It just sums up our season and underlines why RE will not succeed next season.
17 May 2026 13:33:25
Romain Saiss coming back to Wolves?
Would be an incredible signing. Left-sided centre back and perfect captain material. Awesome player, awesome personality, awesome battery life.
Sign him, sign him, sign him!
17 May 2026 12:18:27
Fulham win 2-1. Jimenez brace with a half empty Molineux singing "Si Senor". That should give Nathan Shi a proper wake up call.
Sorry Rob, you're not good enough to take Wolves forward.
17 May 2026 13:02:24
No doubt we'll huff and puff all game. We will inevitably lose, but Rob Edwards will come out and say the next time a team is seen at Molineux, it will be vastly different.
I just want this season to end.
If 4 new players are brought in before the squad returns for pre season, I'll have a little (not much) hope.
But I just don't see Edwards as being capable of turning our fortunes around.
Fosun need to get a big broom out and clear out the deadwood, including the coaching team.
17 May 2026 13:27:04
Most of the players have gone downhill since Edwards got his feet under the table. He'd get PSG relegated.
17 May 2026 11:37:59
What are we in store for today, more of the same boredom, will Rob drop any of the players, will any of them be subject to booing from the crowd?
Apparently Saiss was spotted at Compton, no idea what this means, if Neves and Jimenez was with him that would be interesting.
Unfortunately still wouldn’t have confidence in Rob getting the best out of them.
17 May 2026 14:18:41
Hwang starting (maybe his day!). Rodrigo starting (let's hope he's up and allowed to go for it), and Muller Wolfe getting his chance, again let him go for it.
No Toti, Kreijci back, I gotta a small feeling we'll be ok today, sadly I got a bigger feeling saying it's another boring defeat.
We'll see. COYW.
17 May 2026 14:35:56
No reason at all today, Abbeywolf, for us not to go all out for the win. I am happy no Toti, not many changes though, considering Rob says he will build a team around 6, and after last week he said some of these players have to go.
We are due some entertainment. 5-0 to Wolves, and Rob silences me for now, but unfortunately I can't see it.
