Amario Cozier-Duberry is a hidden gem. An amazing player, a winger in fact, young, talent, high potential, plays for Brighton currently. Wants playing time. 8 goals, 10 assists in EFL League 1.

A lot of clubs are interested in him, but we wants to stay in England. He's a London lad. Got good pace. Reportedly rejected Anderlecht.
Wolves can try to get him on loan or loan with obligation/option to buy.

Watched him in the playoff semi last year - a very good player. However, he's 5'4" or something like that, so may struggle against more physical players in the Championship, but as a winger, this may not matter too much with his pace and trickery.

Not so much as rumours as nothing is coming into public knowledge, just thinking about Friday, I still would play Krechiand Sa instead of Toti and Bentley as we need to utilise the player whilst he's here and get points on the board asap. That's the same for all of them although they might leave whilst the club are still paying their wages then they play.

He's under contract until the summer of 2028 and was on £70k per week but now on £52.5k per week.

My only thinking is that no one is prepared to offer him the same salary that he is currently on, so Hwang is happy to sit out the remainder of his contract.

Whang reminds me of Wang Chung, a pretty decent band who enjoyed some success in the 80s.

As for Hwang, Marseille once offered Wolves £20 million for him, but Wolves kept him, possibly for commercial reasons. I doubt it was for footballing reasons. Maybe Wolves were greedy and Marseille told them to get ******.



Hwang will almost certainly leave Wolves in this window. Problem is it's a buyer's market, and the players Wolves want to sell either cost too much to begin with, or they're on big wages, or they're just not very good.

Wolves are pretty good negotiators, but it will take time for them to get the deals they want. Rush and their feet will be held to the fire.

Really? Give me examples. And I’m not talking about buying rubbish players, because that’s where Wolves are as a club. Same as numerous countless other clubs. All football clubs, depending on their position, fish in different ponds when it comes to player buying. If a club uncovers a gem, they’re simply keeping that player warm for the bigger clubs.

Give me all the examples over the last 60 years where Wolves have been terrible negotiators. The money received for Fabio Silva makes everyone involved master negotiators.

"Wolves didn't get enough for Joao Gomes." Really? Where were the clubs beating down Wolves' door for his services?

I also said pretty good negotiators. Please list all the terrible deals where Wolves have been truly screwed over. When you do, remember all the other smaller clubs who will encounter the same problems as Wolves.

Maybe reset your thinking on Wolves and where they are in the grand scheme of things. The Wolves you see doesn't exist, and the Wolves you want won't ever happen.

Joao Moutinho signed.

Max Kilman sold for £40 million.
Pretty much all money clawed back for Fabio Silva - one of the worst signings Wolves have made.


Profit made on Jhon Arias - one of the worst players I have ever seen.
Pretty much all money clawed back for Tolu - one of the worst signings Wolves have made.
Agbadou sold for a high amount.
Low price paid for Jota. Massive profit made.
Big profit made on Joao Gomes.

It goes on and on, to make Wolves pretty good negotiators.

Reset your thinking on Wolves and where they are. Real football does not exist on a PC game.

Fair enough, you make a good point, with good examples. Think it's more the fact it feels as if we don't reinvest the money we do manage to make, because our signings are often poor. For example, last summer, our two major sellings (Cunha and Ait-Nouri) were not replaced adequately, hence the shocking season we have just seen. We also allowed Sarabia and Semedo to leave on frees - not bad negotiating but definitely bad decisions/outcomes.

Other examples of this are Guedes, who we overpaid for, and Adama, who is crap, but we allowed a once 70 million valued player to leave to Fulham for a pittance. So, it is not necessarily always bad negotiating, but we have had some very bad signings, who we have then allowed to leave very cheaply, and not replaced adequately.

Wolves are entirely average at negotiating, in some cases better than others, and in some cases much worse. It does feel somewhat ironic that you are using the fee received for Tolu and Fabio, whilst entirely ignoring that they also negotiated shockingly poor deals to bring both players to the club. We paid £35m for Fabio Silva when no other club wanted him. Porto must have thought they had won the lottery. We paid £23m for Tolu, when he clearly had a shockingly poor attitude, and again no one wanted him. You are only stating how good the fee was to sell them because we hugely overpaid to buy them.

Those two transfers combined cost us £16m in wasted transfer fees and untold money on wages. Fabio was given one of the biggest contracts at the club for an entirely unproven player, which hardly screams top negotiation, does it? Then, of course, there's Meupyiou, who we paid £4.2m for, then let him go on a free. A free, for what is quickly becoming one of the most sort after young cbs around. Sorry, but we aren't good negotiators. On a good day, we seem to be entirely bang average at best. 👍

Yes we have got some good players in but it's still not enough.
Defence against Port Vale was awful.


I understand we need to offload a few first but surly it can't be the difficult to let them go.

GK and new defender is my top priority. Then a CM and winger.

Why is it most of our linked players are not wanted by the clubs they are at? Why aren't we targeting players whose clubs don't want to lose but they can't/ or won't stand in their way as we are a more attractive proposition to the player? As these signings are more likely to work hard and be more successful, such as Raul or Andre when he signed.

Just a few days from the league kick off and I'don't know what to expect from Wolves this season. Automatic promotion? I'don't know. Top eight finish and promotion via playoff? I'don't know. Do Wolves have the right coach to take us there? Is there sufficient class in the squad? Is there depth in the squad? I'don't know.

What I do know, there will be a few bumps in the following months so I suggest we all strap in our belts and enjoy the ride.

Agree Lyndsay, haven't got a clue, until we see not only who and how we perform, I don't know what other clubs will do.
It's the hardest division to win outright. Top 8 is where we have to be. Let's hope we'll have enough to get there at least.

It's difficult to predict where Wolves will finish this season because the Championship is such a nightmare league. In 23/24, Leicester lost 11 games and won the league.

In their positions, Trippier, Andre, Fer Lopez and Jimenez are the best players outside of the Premier League. Fer Lopez is poetry in motion - he's waaaaaaay too good for the Championship.

Hugo Bueno and Mateus Mane are amongst the best players outside the Premier League.

Wolves have some very useful players.

However, they desperately need a goalkeeper, left-sided cb, a central midfielder who can score goals and provide assists, and a right winger to provide competition to R Gomes.

If certain players leave, who will provide cover for Trippier and Hugo Bueno? Is Moller Wolfe injured?

Matt Jackson and Peixoto swear that there will be several players leaving and coming in. If there isn't, Wolves will be too weak in certain areas, and there will be players at the club who clearly want to be elsewhere.

I think he's just showing gratitude for his Villa move. That's what he has to do. The joys of being famous and having social media. Most of the posts are bs to keep people happy. Also, it is almost always written by social media companies.



I used to work in digital marketing and had the opportunity to move into social media management/marketing, but refused because it's posting bs day in day out.

Well, it won't be Exeter. Those on here telling us we need to just rely on the kids more, take note! What a debut for Ethan Sutherland. On for just 23 mins, and managing to pick up two yellow cards in that time, resulting in Exeter going out to their arch rivals (Plymouth).

Don't think he's gonna be too popular with his new set of fans. Oh dear. 😕
