I did not see the game, but will watch later on replay. To all the pessimists on the site, is this a respectable win since it was against a higher placed, better quality team? I'd love to hear those thoughts now that we toughed out another tight win and a clean sheet.

We dominated. Shoulda been out of sight by the time Lopez scored. Very composed their keeper made 2 word class save.

The players looked like they wanted it in particular Andre and also Fer Lopez who was fuming that he was taken off - I agree he should have stayed on but I'll take the better judgement of Peixoto. and of course the three massive pts

Impressive.

Well we've currently played 3 of the top 7 picking up full points against Stoke and Albion but getting beaten at West Ham, Boro next will be another strong test. Early to say if we're the real deal yet, but certainly a really promising start.

To be honest moby, if can consistently perform with that intent we needn't worry over anyone. Bar the wonder performance of o'leary we'd be celebrating a 4/5-0 victory. I'd like to see more 'direct' threats on goal, maybe raul and the young lad from Newcastle can provide that in time?
Nerves still rattled at the back, despite great performances from toti and dieja today, the confusion with Sa and toti at the end showed that, but I think trips has a guiding influence back there now to some degree.
Andre was immense, someone who I thought may have lost his cool was admirably restrained.


Rodrigo and Mane, particularly first half were dominating, although be it tiredness and concentration wearying, the second not as much.
Fer seemed much more alert second, and his speed of thought getting the goal showed that. His celebrating and his disappointment in being subbed I think underlines his attachment to us.
Which brings me to one Ruben Neves, and was it Seiss next to him? So good to see him back at the mol enjoying the win.
Great day, sets us up for the break, game in hand one win from top spot.

Molby one of the best 90mins Wolves have played in a long time. Could or should have been at least 2 or 3 nil up at HT WBs goalie had a blinder. If to moan Trippiers passing was way of gave the ball away 4 or 5 times but just came back so can forgive.

Second Andre needs to calm down how many freekicks did the guy give away. But overall bloody brilliant performance and great win.

Slick performance today, quick passing and losing down. On another day 3 up by half time. Their goalkeeper was outstanding. However, a nervey finish, that wolves for you. Lopez and djiga are too totally different players today, maybe mismanaged previously. Toti's best game in a wolves shirt for sometime. Nobody will convince me that Armstrong, can play the out and out striker role for us.

Neave looked good when he came on, if only for his nuisance value, but will be a good acquisition for the season, and who knows permanently. Munetsi played well again, but is a booking waiting to happen, as is Andre. I think we have the depth of squad now, but an out and out striker in the next window. Onward and upward. Wolves aye we.

I agree with your comment about Armstrong,lots of pundits keep saying he will score lots of goals in the Championship-1 so far this season. Centre forwards should also worry defenders-I don't think the Bogies defenders knew he was on the pitch.

Yea to think we had swashbuckling Mosquiro in the role, the comparison is incredible, so unlucky not to get his goal as well.
He looks like a favourite in the making.

O'Leary is playing a blinder. 2 incredible stops. Fair play. We have dominated and playing well. Hopefully we can continue this into the 2nd half and once we score one I feel the gates will open for us.

I've seen the team we going to get beat I'm behind them all the way, but that line up is poor how many times are we going to try Armstrong up front hes too small and runs around but can't hold ball up and Toti as captain well say no more.

We've been very good simonandlaura, Armstrong doing some good distraction runs, I'm a little disappointed Fer hasn't capitalised.
Could have been 3-4 up in the first 30mins but for some wonder saves by their keeper.


Worries me playing around at the back but stronger with Trips there.
Just sods law they'll get something in the second now, coz I can't see us keeping up the momentum with subs etc coming.
Best we've played in a long while.

Presumably Krejci is injured as Toti in and captain. Think we all need convincing that Toti is up to the standard required, no choice really if Krejci injured.

Hope everyone switched on and no silly passing around the back when under pressure.


Also hope Sa is stronger when under pressure and doesn't just try and get fouls.
Let us hope for a nice comfortable relaxing win, not likely unfortunately.

We've got no need to stoop to their levels off the pitch. Best way to react is beat them, and send them back to their Shanty Village with tails between their legs. I've watched Sandwell a couple of times and admit, they look half decent.

But we should have enough quality on the pitch and bench to take our first 3, of the 6 points this season.

Spot on goodwhile, it's a game and big 3 points but it shouldn't be marred by the idiotic few.
Let's hope we can do our talking on the pitch exchanging only verbal expressions.
Should be a cracking game and I'm just hoping the likes of Andre and Kreiji don't see red.
