David Moller Wolfe arrived in Hamburg just after 11pm last night.
Final details still to confirm between clubs. Wolves waning a replacement before completing the deal.

I can't understand why we continually loan players out. Yesterday we turned down a permanent deal. Today we accepted a loan with an option for sale. Plus, potential figures are kept secret. Is it perhaps the valuation is low? Is it we may want to address the situation when we know our destiny at the end of the season?
The clarity spoken about by Nathan has come to nothing - same old situation, treat the fans like mushrooms, feed them s*** occasionally.
Out of darkness comes more darkness. Will Fosun ever learn?

RolloWolf, No mention of fee yet. I would expect to see a replacement, but you never know with this club. Hugo has interest from Atletico and Benfica, but I doubt anything will come from it.
Figures for Wolfe will come out eventually, they always do.
It would not surprise me if a signing came out of nowhere. I have heard about 1 player that plays at the back for a club in the Dutch league, but supposed to be signing for WBA.

RB Leipzig was interested in signing Fábio Silva and had reached an agreement with the player. However, they withdrew from the transfer due to Wolverhampton Wanderers' transfer fee demand of up to 30 million euros.

Not the transfer window we expected from what had been said by Shi etc., but we move on. Might have to dive in the market come January. This team should still be good enough to be promoted. Perhaps Fosun are thinking if they can spend little to get promoted that then gives them more money to spend in the summer for the Prem.
I do think we need to get Krejci or Bueno in that back line asap to tighten it up as we are too easy to score against. After Sa's performance last night I would probably give the new lad a run.

I admire your optimism, Alex, and your positive (if deluded) take on Fosun's spending plans.
But I'd prepare to be disappointed if I were you. I'm not sure we will even get promoted, and even if we do, our owners won't change their approach to spending money.

Couldn't agree more about Sa. When he's bad, he's astonishingly bad. Sa could and should have stopped two of those goals. He's often too manic and when he's in that phase his goalkeeping ability is non existent.
He's getting better at playing out from the back, but his kicking ability ranks amongst be the worst I've ever seen.
I have a feeling it won't be long before Joāo Virginia is between the sticks.

Think most just didn't turn up. Fer when he had that good chance in the box and it went into the top stand summed our day all together. Trippier had a terrible game and would have replaced him with Jackson.
A lot of attack was going down Trippier side and he was getting beaten for pace which i think Jackson would have coped with a lot better. Anyway we move on and must turn it around tonight.

Have to agree Mane needs to rotate with Lopez. Due to Mane lack of defending it puts a lot of pressure on Bueno.

The whole team looked like they had no energy and it was sluggish but i kind of expected that from the likes of Fer and Bellegarde. Fer had a knock from International and Bellegarde played more minutes than expected considering he has just returned from injury.

I thought Said did pretty well when he came on. He was unlucky when the ref booked him for diving when he was fouled. Looked to take his man on and put a decent ball in which you would have hoped a "striker" at least would be there.
Never rated Doyle from day 1 and should not get ahead of any other midfielder in that squad.
Have to agree i think Hwang would have got his mojo back. Armstrong works well off the ball but poor on it. Did well to close down the goalkeeper and took forever to do something then decided to pass it back to the keeper. Same as his chance near the end when his shot was a pass back.
When Mane beat that 1 player and then crossed the ball into the top stand pretty much sums him up. He rarely helps defend and when he does it is half hearted defending. Drop the lad and make him work.

It isn't nice losing good players but never held anything against a player if they go about it the right way. Neves was open and honest about his reason and respectful. He will always be a Wolves legend.
I think RAN would have a few club offers that are in a better position than Wolves. Wouldn't surprise me if he ends up going to UTD considering they tried to get him last minute in the summer window.

Unfortunately i work with a few WBA fans but to be fair they were humble in defeat. Djiga and Toti got mentioned as like you said they won everything in the air. That was good tactics because we pressed to stop them from playing out which resulted in them going for the long ball which we won every time.
It was great to see them both just throwing themselves at those 50/50 duals. WBA just didn't know what to do and i think quality and bravery was not there for them.
