It’s a done deal now. Fabrizio reporting it. Never saw that coming.

Kenzie191_

1.) 11 Jun 2026 07:41:03
Nathan Judah saying Edwards has indeed been sacked.

I honestly don't know how to feel about this.

Yes, I've been calling for Edwards to go, based on the shocking performances of last season, but he has since come out and stated that the players weren't good enough and a change of formation was needed.

We then tied Andre to a new deal and got Trippier and Raul over the line, so it looked like things were on the up.

Did Edwards have any input into these players committing to Wolves, or has Nathan convinced them to re-sign/join and sold them the dream that it will be someone other than Edwards steering the ship.

2.) 11 Jun 2026 08:08:05
Rumours stating that Edwards only found out after his family saw the rumours on social media, so he rang the club to find out.

If this is the case, then that really is disgraceful from the club.

He may be a poor manager, but he deserves to be told in person by the club, not via rumours.

3.) 11 Jun 2026 08:18:13
Over his managerial career, he averages 1.24 points per game. This equates to 57 points over a 46-game Championship season.

Let's hope Nathan knows something that the stats don't show.

4.) 11 Jun 2026 08:33:18
Madness. The guy has a hopeless track record and has no knowledge of the Championship. On what basis can he be considered a better bet than RE?

5.) 11 Jun 2026 08:40:10
Hopefully Rui Silva will have a major input, Innocent.

6.) 11 Jun 2026 08:41:58
It wouldn't be difficult to be better than Edwards.

7.) 11 Jun 2026 08:49:22
Could now look forward to an influx of Portuguese players courtesy of Jorge, and a new opportunity for Fer Lopes.

8.) 11 Jun 2026 09:20:47
He apparently likes to play attacking football.

9.) 11 Jun 2026 15:48:55
Not with our squad he won't.

02 Feb 2026 21:03:16
Angel great signing. But how the mighty Wolves have fallen where we are all happy with Armstrong. It’s ok having the Larsen money but will Fosun spend it in the summer. Disappointed yet again personally.

Kenzie191_

1.) 02 Feb 2026 21:58:52
Thing is mate in our position nobody wants to come to us, this is all on Fosun.

2.) 02 Feb 2026 22:35:58
In 23/24 Armstrong scored 24 and had 13 as
sists in the Championship and this season has scored 11 with 4 assists. If he can carry on with these sort of figures next season we'll all be happy.

Might not be good enough for the Premier league but that's no issue at present as we won't be featuring in the top league after this season until Aug '27 at the very earliest (and that will take some doing).

3.) 02 Feb 2026 23:10:40
I get that nobody wants to come to us but we were as good as relegated at the start of December.

Players should have been identified and spoken to ready to sign on day one of the window.

To leave it until the last hour of the last day of the window us disgraceful.

We should have made a move for Ward Prowse and Kalvin Phillips.

Against Bournemouth, we had 2 direct free kicks which over recent years would have been taken by the likes of Moutinho, Neves, Neto, Sarabia and Cunha. But no, we had the choice of Hwang or no one. Not a single person near me thought it had a chance of going in.

Its embarrassing just how far we have fallen.

4.) 03 Feb 2026 06:45:44
Can't agree with your suggested players Good. Ward Prowse is excellent at free kicks but not too much else and is slow too boot. Phillips has had more than enough chance at West Ham and Ipswich but flopped. There's a reason why he's dropped a division to Sheff Utd.

We'll see if he can resurrect his career there. Armstrong has good figures in the Championship ( see my post above) while the Angel acquisition is a relative no lose one on the face of it and at this stage no one really knows if he'll be with us next season.

5.) 03 Feb 2026 07:30:14
Did agbadou stay or go

30 Aug 2025 00:54:08
Raskin from Rangers, deal in place. 1of3 for midfielders

Kenzie191_

1.) 30 Aug 2025 03:28:14
more kenzie lies . they won’t like you for it

2.) 30 Aug 2025 07:21:59
Guessing he's a backup incase we can't get our other midfield targets?

3.) 30 Aug 2025 12:51:10
Kenzie, just stop lying mate. It’s weird behaviour.

20 Aug 2025 18:27:26
Guys I have the utmost faith in VP but he won't save us on a shoestring. We have downgraded both Wing Backs and bought 2 for 10-15 mil who are not proven. Fer Larson another one who couldn't get regular minutes at his previous club, unproven. What is going on at OUR beloved club. Arias looks quality, but that's about it. So disheartened at the minute, no doubt we will panic buy on Transfer day and bring 3 in at the same prices.

Kenzie191_

1.) 20 Aug 2025 20:16:30
I think many share your concerns Kenzie but can VP pull it out of the fire for a second time but with arguably a less talented and Premier League experienced squad?

I'm just as confused by what Fosun are doing as I am by those that seem to approve of it. Time will tell as he hopefully and progressively get's a tune out of them, if not, game over.

2.) 21 Aug 2025 00:31:15
Until recently I was convinced we would do enough in the window to get the quality we need combined with what we have to compete this season.
Seeing us against Citeh has changed this. With a couple of signings we will have the quality to compete, but the squad is missing leaders and experience of this league.
Matt Doherty has loads of experience, but isn't in the same mould of say, Coady or Dawson. There needs to be a calming influence on and off the pitch to keep heads up when things go wrong.
Unless the next few in have experience of this league I worry that we have a squad that is too good to go down but does. If the stories of who we are looking at are true then I'd be surprised if we're not the squad with the fewest appearances in the league and have one of the least experienced captains. We need players that can represent the coach on the pitch, encourage, berate and change things on the fly as well as explaining the coaches philosophy in thedressing room.
I hope VP works his magic and he proves me wrong as I now think we're in for a long fretful season

Davitashvilli Was a done deal. Price and personal terms were agreed but they pulled the plug and wanted another 5 mil with add ons. It may still happen. Player wants to come

Kenzie191_

1.) 04 Aug 2025 14:17:49
*Sigh*

2.) 04 Aug 2025 14:48:31
Give it up.

3.) 04 Aug 2025 14:58:55
he’s not lying, he’s being truthful

4.) 04 Aug 2025 15:16:02
vitor has taste

5.) 04 Aug 2025 16:17:51
Can anyone else that potentially has contacts confirm or deny our interest in Davitashvilli? Heard nothing about this other than on this site, albeit from multiple people claiming it's true, but all seems to be lies

I don’t know what mindset Re has tried to tactically install. Who are we? Where’s our identity? He talks nonsense after every game. He sets them up to play this way. As soon as Toti came on we passed it sideways even more.

Not a game to stick a 16 year old on the pitch for his debut. Don’t think the lad touched the ball. Re is out his depth completely.

Kenzie191_

1.) 24 May 2026 21:20:54
I think with Abbey it was to show him that he is part of the club's future. Also, to show the fans the same thing.

There are too many players at the club who went stale a long time ago. Mosquera has to go.

The play-acting, histrionics, etc., is tiresome.

There has to be a big clear out at Wolves. 1st team, bench, loan players. So much crud. At times, the Wolves players were chasing shadows.

2.) 25 May 2026 00:50:35
I personally think a rot has set in. Edwards will not take this team forward. I believe he's the joke of the dressing room. Plainly see players looking bewildered at his subs & tactics. He is definitely a Wolves fan, so he should resign ASAP.

Has anyone seen any improvement since he came? cus I certainly haven't. Wolves are dear to me, so I hope they are right, but really it's looking like a disaster.

3.) 25 May 2026 07:22:47
That is the very point there, Lexluna, with the exception of the games Liverpool, Arsenal and Villa, there has been no improvement with Rob Edwards, and those 'big' games didn't need Rob Edwards to lift our lads.
OK, he gave Mane his chance, but even he doesn't seem to have had the means of play fully explained to him, as clubs have learnt about his talents, dithering with the ball and being overly selfish at times.
The teams haven't had an identity or flow, and the back line have looked leaderless and disjointed.

We need a 'gaffer' who commands, a leader on the pitch, vocally and by example.
Andre signing is fantastic, now let's knit things around him.
Jiminez could be an inspired signing for morale and role model, but please we need someone defined in that dugout who lets people know what he wants and how to get it.
Thankfully we knew our fate months ago so we didn't endure the heartbreak that WH and Nuno must have had.
New league, new season, new era.

4.) 25 May 2026 09:03:33
Bang on Abbey. That 2nd half yesterday was like someone had dragged 11 guys out the pub & just said go on lads, do your best. Correct about Mane as well, he shoots when he should pass, & what's this thing about him taking all the free kicks? And it's all down to the manager.

5.) 25 May 2026 11:05:12
Mane is still young in football terms. He has what it takes, but needs a good coach to play to his strengths. When to shoot and when to pass will come good. But I am afraid he won't learn these things with us.

It's like Sunday amateurs, everybody chasing the ball but nobody knows what to do with it if they get it. Sadly, that is our cats with the present set up, so Mane should leave and get decent coaching.

26 Apr 2026 01:36:14
They will give Re until December. Why he is still in a job, I don’t know. Most boring football I’ve ever seen at Wolves. No identity, no passion, no grit or determination. As fans, it’s so demoralising. Armstrong? What a joke, is that where we are now. Fed up with Re saying we competed blah blah blah.

Kenzie191_

1.) 26 Apr 2026 11:58:23
I tend to agree, Kenzie. In fairness, the squad probably is what it looks like, a collection of players of varying abilities and attitudes, thrown together with little thought about blending them together into a team. Rob has at least managed 15 points, as opposed to the 2 from the first half.

10 Apr 2026 21:55:22
Garbage. RE is totally out his depth and not the man to move us on. Poor line up, poor subs. We are like a pub team. This is also a aweful West Ham team. Sick of it now.

Kenzie191_

1.) 10 Apr 2026 22:21:47
I was just looking at the stats for Edwards, to see if we are being fair, and they are frankly damning. Currently averaging 0.71 ppm (and that might be generous as I am not sure when it updates). For a bit of context, that means had he been here all season we would be on 22 points and still pretty much down.

More than this, we all agree that Vitor Perriera was rubbish, right? Well, he had an average 1.24 ppm, so double what Edwards had achieved. Like all Wolves fans, I desperately wanted RE to be the right choice, but surely by now we must all agree that he's just not up to the task?

2.) 10 Apr 2026 22:29:44
Saw tonight's game, I am sick of Edwards gurning at the camera and motioning with his hands back or forward. We can all talk a good game, but the bloke would have trouble sending a corpse to sleep. Boring, clueless, uninspiring. Need I go on? We are not treading water. We will go down, and stay down under Edwards. Mark my words, Fosun.

3.) 10 Apr 2026 22:30:38
He's definitely out of his depth. Never thought I'd see us in this position after what we were just a few years ago. I know that's not Edwards' fault, but this team performance is his fault. Not good enough.

4.) 10 Apr 2026 22:40:16
This is now a predicament.

The facts are VP was awful, but Rob Edwards' stats are worse.

Edwards has clearly been told to prepare for the Championship, but surely at the time of his appointment, there were enough games and points available to try and stay up.

The squad will be very different to what we have currently, but the style of play is too turgid.

How long do the club give Edwards? Well, the plan was for him to prepare for life in the Championship and to mount a promotion challenge.

If he isn't near the top of the table after 10 games next season, I'd like to think the hierarchy let him go. But who comes in to replace him? My choice (as we're in the 2nd tier) would be John Mousinho. He likes to play attacking football, and he'd have a bigger budget and better players than he currently does at Portsmouth.

5.) 10 Apr 2026 22:59:10
I get your point, Good, and you may well be right regarding the ten games, but to be honest, I kind of hope not! Because ten games (even in the Champ) is a lot, add to this we will also then have a team/transfer window completely overseen by Edwards to suit his style of play.

I say style of play, but for the life of me, I have no idea what that actually is for Edwards, to be honest. Look at how tight it is in the Champ this season. I'm just not convinced it's a standard of league where any team gets to just write off 10 matches as an experiment.

6.) 10 Apr 2026 23:11:59
Personally, I wasn't impressed when Rob Edwards was appointed, and I said as much. I felt he was another Jeff Shi special, so none of this surprises me in the slightest.
Yes, we have some poor performers, but the manager/coach plays a significant part in shaping the team and its game management.

As some have said, his stats are truly appalling, but commensurate with his managerial status, imo.
What is concerning is how long Fosun/N Shi will allow this to continue, as it sounds like he's under no pressure, and our owners don't seem to care what division we're in.

06 Mar 2026 23:18:02
Mane has been poor the last 3 games. Going from 10-15 minutes here and there to playing every game. Yes, he is a promising talent, but if I’m honest I haven’t seen anything from him to prove he’s that good, and yet RE has left him on when he’s the worst player on the pitch and subbed other players.

Not the lads’ fault, but RE’s fault. Still no identity and we have absolutely nothing in attack, no pace, no wingers. Truly awful.

Kenzie191_

1.) 06 Mar 2026 23:21:31
Because the kid is exhausted, he needs to be rested.

2.) 07 Mar 2026 00:11:49
How can a kid be tired? They're kids, they have all kinds of energy.

3.) 07 Mar 2026 00:19:41
I think he's being hyped up to be something he's not. 1st time I saw Robbie K, I thought, yeah, he's a proper talent. Not seen this with Mane. He may come good, but at this moment he's ordinary at best.

4.) 07 Mar 2026 10:03:22
I think he is a brilliant talent, but needs to be nurtured accordingly for him to turn out as we all hope.

5.) 07 Mar 2026 10:41:51
The lad must surely be mentally exhausted, if not physically. He's under all sorts of pressure now, whereas before he could just get on the pitch and express himself.
It may be an idea not to start him for a couple of games, utilise him as an impact sub, to relieve the pressure of everyone saying he's our main man.

He's 18, yet to mature physically and emotionally; we need to nurture and protect him so that we get to appreciate his talent. For his age, he's right up there, but without the right support and backup, that may not develop as well as a lot are saying.

06 Mar 2026 21:46:28
Awful again. Re out of his depth. Mane all game worse than Hwang. Give the lad a rest.

Kenzie191_

1.) 06 Mar 2026 22:05:26
I've been thinking that about Mane for some time, Kenzie, but we're thin, squad-wise.
We were beaten through lack of ideas, we didn't know where to go or look.
Liverpool's second was offside in my book; how he wasn't offside when a goal was disallowed for a nose the other night, I don't know, but then Tulu let two opportunities roll under his feet.

When Hwang scored with a Johnstone assist, you have to ask why RE hadn't got that style going earlier. The subs were too late, and not changed as a block.
Liverpool ran us with class, and we didn't show anything to go at them. RE enjoyed it the other night, sadly he's got some thinking to do after that! Did he know it was a cup game?

2.) 06 Mar 2026 22:08:50
Have to agree. Talk of high and low. ??
Why change a winning starting line up?
Ok, Andre banned.
Then he made the bulk of changes when it was 3-0.
And it was too late.
Very odd man, tactically bad.
Passionate. But is that enough?
Too many too slow.
Bellegarde, Mane, examples. Maybe, as u say, give Mane a rest.

3.) 06 Mar 2026 22:13:24
True. Mane has to play in the number 10 role, as he simply hasn't got the pace to play out wide. He and Tolu were poor tonight.

4.) 06 Mar 2026 22:59:48
What a strike force - Hwang and Armstrong! I don't think next season's Championship defences will be quaking in their boots.

5.) 06 Mar 2026 23:25:55
Anyone know, or thoughts on why Kretchi, who I thought was MOTM on Tuesday, didn't start or come on tonight, even though he was on the bench?

6.) 07 Mar 2026 00:27:21
Why leave a few out that have just beaten Liverpool. A mom & your keeper were brilliant. I strongly believe Sa would have got to the 1st and 3rd goals, & Toti went ball watching for the 2nd.

Play the same team for God's sake. What are we saving them for???? Liverpool played their strongest side. Villa and Pool were good results, but my jury is still out on Re...

7.) 07 Mar 2026 00:57:22
Sa was rested due to an ankle injury.
Andre was suspended.

8.) 07 Mar 2026 07:04:36
Yes, Rollo, the Krejci omission was the biggest error, unless he was carrying an injury.

Don’t mention Raskin As I got called a liar for saying a deal was done for him. We have made bids for 2 other midfielders. We only want 1 out the 3. Never said he was signing, just a deal in place if others fail. If he does sign I will be calling out the 2 who called me a liar and weird. No need for it when this is supposed to be a friendly forum where we all share our views and news we have heard. I’m over 55 years old, supported Wolves all my life and this is what you get from sharing info. I won’t bother in future.
