Why are we looking at Duberry? Seriously guys, he was League 1 with Bolton last season. There is no ambition with Fosun and they are stripping the assets. I agree with others, Trippier and Jimenez were to get fans on board and to sell tickets.

I don’t agree with sacking the manager, but even Pep wouldn’t be able to take this team forward. Silence from Fosun and signings like they promised us loyal fans.

Totally agree re Raul and Tripps. Also feel the same about the actual Old Gold strip. They asked themselves what could they do as quick, easy wins to get supporters onside again.
Since then, we've spent £5m on some unknown kiddie who's already injured. Making money from selling the family jewels and not spending it... No change there.

2.) 19 Aug 2026 08:31:04
I don't think the fans are going to be loyal for much longer. If Fosun don't sort the Wolves team out before the end of the August window, and Wolves get a couple of key defeats, I think it will be the end of the road for them.

Sacking Rob so late, but then sacking him almost immediately after bringing in Trippier and Raul, shows how clueless Fosun are.

Fosun are conning the fans, but are doing just enough to make sure there isn't a revolt. However, I think, for some time, they've been backing themselves into a corner from which even Houdini couldn't escape.

3.) 19 Aug 2026 08:36:25
Many Wolves fans are fed up with Fosun. Fosun knows this. Let's see what happens if a poorly assembled Championship squad is beaten in September at the Molineux by the Baggies. It could easily happen.

Personally, I think Fosun are sinking and they won't be Wolves' owners for much longer. Too many fans are turning on them.

4.) 19 Aug 2026 11:08:57
Duberry might have been in l1 last season, but he was one of the best players in the league, so is not a bad backup option. I think he certainly has a high ceiling if we could sign him permanently.

11 Jun 2026 00:14:23
It’s a done deal now. Fabrizio reporting it. Never saw that coming.

1.) 11 Jun 2026 07:41:03
Nathan Judah saying Edwards has indeed been sacked.

I honestly don't know how to feel about this.

Yes, I've been calling for Edwards to go, based on the shocking performances of last season, but he has since come out and stated that the players weren't good enough and a change of formation was needed.

We then tied Andre to a new deal and got Trippier and Raul over the line, so it looked like things were on the up.

Did Edwards have any input into these players committing to Wolves, or has Nathan convinced them to re-sign/join and sold them the dream that it will be someone other than Edwards steering the ship.

2.) 11 Jun 2026 08:08:05
Rumours stating that Edwards only found out after his family saw the rumours on social media, so he rang the club to find out.

If this is the case, then that really is disgraceful from the club.

He may be a poor manager, but he deserves to be told in person by the club, not via rumours.

3.) 11 Jun 2026 08:18:13
Over his managerial career, he averages 1.24 points per game. This equates to 57 points over a 46-game Championship season.

Let's hope Nathan knows something that the stats don't show.

4.) 11 Jun 2026 08:33:18
Madness. The guy has a hopeless track record and has no knowledge of the Championship. On what basis can he be considered a better bet than RE?

5.) 11 Jun 2026 08:40:10
Hopefully Rui Silva will have a major input, Innocent.

6.) 11 Jun 2026 08:41:58
It wouldn't be difficult to be better than Edwards.

7.) 11 Jun 2026 08:49:22
Could now look forward to an influx of Portuguese players courtesy of Jorge, and a new opportunity for Fer Lopes.

8.) 11 Jun 2026 09:20:47
He apparently likes to play attacking football.

9.) 11 Jun 2026 15:48:55
Not with our squad he won't.

02 Feb 2026 21:03:16
Angel great signing. But how the mighty Wolves have fallen where we are all happy with Armstrong. It’s ok having the Larsen money but will Fosun spend it in the summer. Disappointed yet again personally.

Kenzie191_

1.) 02 Feb 2026 21:58:52
Thing is mate in our position nobody wants to come to us, this is all on Fosun.

2.) 02 Feb 2026 22:35:58
In 23/24 Armstrong scored 24 and had 13 as
sists in the Championship and this season has scored 11 with 4 assists. If he can carry on with these sort of figures next season we'll all be happy.

Might not be good enough for the Premier league but that's no issue at present as we won't be featuring in the top league after this season until Aug '27 at the very earliest (and that will take some doing).

3.) 02 Feb 2026 23:10:40
I get that nobody wants to come to us but we were as good as relegated at the start of December.

Players should have been identified and spoken to ready to sign on day one of the window.

To leave it until the last hour of the last day of the window us disgraceful.

We should have made a move for Ward Prowse and Kalvin Phillips.

Against Bournemouth, we had 2 direct free kicks which over recent years would have been taken by the likes of Moutinho, Neves, Neto, Sarabia and Cunha. But no, we had the choice of Hwang or no one. Not a single person near me thought it had a chance of going in.

Its embarrassing just how far we have fallen.

4.) 03 Feb 2026 06:45:44
Can't agree with your suggested players Good. Ward Prowse is excellent at free kicks but not too much else and is slow too boot. Phillips has had more than enough chance at West Ham and Ipswich but flopped. There's a reason why he's dropped a division to Sheff Utd.

We'll see if he can resurrect his career there. Armstrong has good figures in the Championship ( see my post above) while the Angel acquisition is a relative no lose one on the face of it and at this stage no one really knows if he'll be with us next season.

5.) 03 Feb 2026 07:30:14
Did agbadou stay or go

30 Aug 2025 00:54:08
Raskin from Rangers, deal in place. 1of3 for midfielders

Kenzie191_

1.) 30 Aug 2025 03:28:14
more kenzie lies . they won’t like you for it

2.) 30 Aug 2025 07:21:59
Guessing he's a backup incase we can't get our other midfield targets?

3.) 30 Aug 2025 12:51:10
Kenzie, just stop lying mate. It’s weird behaviour.

20 Aug 2025 18:27:26
Guys I have the utmost faith in VP but he won't save us on a shoestring. We have downgraded both Wing Backs and bought 2 for 10-15 mil who are not proven. Fer Larson another one who couldn't get regular minutes at his previous club, unproven. What is going on at OUR beloved club. Arias looks quality, but that's about it. So disheartened at the minute, no doubt we will panic buy on Transfer day and bring 3 in at the same prices.

Kenzie191_

1.) 20 Aug 2025 20:16:30
I think many share your concerns Kenzie but can VP pull it out of the fire for a second time but with arguably a less talented and Premier League experienced squad?

I'm just as confused by what Fosun are doing as I am by those that seem to approve of it. Time will tell as he hopefully and progressively get's a tune out of them, if not, game over.

2.) 21 Aug 2025 00:31:15
Until recently I was convinced we would do enough in the window to get the quality we need combined with what we have to compete this season.
Seeing us against Citeh has changed this. With a couple of signings we will have the quality to compete, but the squad is missing leaders and experience of this league.
Matt Doherty has loads of experience, but isn't in the same mould of say, Coady or Dawson. There needs to be a calming influence on and off the pitch to keep heads up when things go wrong.
Unless the next few in have experience of this league I worry that we have a squad that is too good to go down but does. If the stories of who we are looking at are true then I'd be surprised if we're not the squad with the fewest appearances in the league and have one of the least experienced captains. We need players that can represent the coach on the pitch, encourage, berate and change things on the fly as well as explaining the coaches philosophy in thedressing room.
I hope VP works his magic and he proves me wrong as I now think we're in for a long fretful season

I think if we lose to the Baggies the crowd will turn dramatically. Fosun out.

Kenzie191_

1.) 12 Sep 2026 07:54:38
If Wolves lose to the Baggies, there will be no way back for Fosun. Wolves fans couldn't forgive Steve Morgan, so they certainly won't forgive Fosun.

2.) 12 Sep 2026 09:04:17
Let's get Sunday's game over with first, folks!

3.) 12 Sep 2026 10:08:36
Exactly.

06 Sep 2026 22:35:19
We have what we have. I know this is all about opinions. Can’t keep making scapegoats out of them. Mane out 1 week, Armstrong out, Gimenez out. Da out. I’ve heard it all on here. Only one person to blame. Fosun, let’s not take it out on the players. Take it out on them. Only 1 place to blame this s*** show on.

Kenzie191_

02 Sep 2026 21:38:44
Bare facts are us fans have been let down and Fosun need to hear this. 6-7 months to prepare transfers, which they said they were sorting and had money to spend. Where is it? Awful transfer window. The silence from Matt and Shi is so disrespectful to us paying fans. It was those guys who promised the earth.

That defence was Sunday league standard and it has been for months. Crying out for a Costa or Cav on the wing, a decent centre forward to help. Is the problem Matt and Shi or is CP to blame too? Even Arteta doesn’t tell his board, don’t spend because I don’t need to strengthen, I’ll use what I have.

Kenzie191_

1.) 02 Sep 2026 23:52:38
Until the crowd gets very, very angry, nothing will change. They've taken the piss out of all of us. Something needs to be done very quickly, or we will sail this ship alone.

2.) 03 Sep 2026 07:30:12
Lose Sunday, & the fans will start to turn, which, unfortunately for CP & the team, will have a negative impact. If we're not careful, it'll be another manager sacked by Xmas, players wanting to leave & unrest in the dressing
room, which obviously affects the on field performance. You do have to feel sorry for any manager appointed by Fosun.

01 Sep 2026 21:49:47
I like CP but I also blame him. He has obviously succumbed to Fosuns crap transfer window and accepted it, as other previous managers did. Nuno left because the club never backed him and he had the balls to walk away. c'mon happy clappers, defence is awful. Last time in Championship we bought a young Jiménez, now we get an unknown under 21 from Newcastle.

Kenzie191_

1.) 01 Sep 2026 22:16:09
Incorrect regarding Jiminez.

31 Aug 2026 23:08:06
It's disgusting for all of us who pay week in week out. A chance to take this league by storm, yet we have spent next to nothing. We ain't signing anybody else, just be pinching second rate loan deals. Fed up with it now.

Kenzie191_

1.) 01 Sep 2026 05:43:34
Kenzie, you say that, but we are unbeaten in the league and cup so far, 7 games if you include the last couple of friendlies we had....

I fully admit you have more of a say than me, as I don't pay to go every week....Honestly, I wish I could, but sadly and honestly I just can't afford to, unfortunately.

And I agree, we could have been more active in the transfer window, and it does seem we were promised more, but as a through and through Wolves fan, just overlook the possibilities and take in what's on paper....Failing the draw on opening day, could we really have asked for more - other than more positive performances?!?!

To say we have dropped 2 points out of a possible 9, won 2 cup games....after last season, that sounds like in 4 and a half weeks sounds like a pipe dream after the s***show that was last season!

Let's just embrace and go with it, regardless of the deep down disdain for Fosun!!

Massive game tomorrow, can't wait, feeling more positive than I have done in quite some time!

FWAW.

2.) 01 Sep 2026 05:56:20
Not trying to target and signal you out, by the way, mate, just so you know, all of us (or should I say most!) on here just want the club to do well. I 100% get that, but honestly, as it stands, bar 2 points we honestly couldn't have done any better than we have so far!
Genuinely feel like Peixoto has this squad playing on a different hymn sheet, one they haven't come across before....

and yes, I had never heard of him until we appointed him, but I hadn't heard of Nuno either! And, for the first time in a long time, not only my hope, but the results, are actually hyping me up and giving me a bit of faith in the manager and what this season may bring.... I just hope it ends up being justified!

3.) 01 Sep 2026 09:21:42
I think I may be an outlier here because I knew who Nuno was before we signed him....

He was the 74 rated keeper from Sao Tome I signed at Walsall on FIFA 08 lol.

Don’t mention Raskin As I got called a liar for saying a deal was done for him. We have made bids for 2 other midfielders. We only want 1 out the 3. Never said he was signing, just a deal in place if others fail. If he does sign I will be calling out the 2 who called me a liar and weird. No need for it when this is supposed to be a friendly forum where we all share our views and news we have heard. I’m over 55 years old, supported Wolves all my life and this is what you get from sharing info. I won’t bother in future.

What like Bournemouth. They looked fit, had pace, and had a plan. Against a team who have spent how much?
