Did anyone see that we are linked with the striker Pablo of West Ham? Would be a reunion with our new head coach Peixoto. Exciting if true. Imagine Pablo and Raul together.
19 Jun 2026 14:45:34
Is he actually any good though, Deep? I haven't seen him much, in truth, but I see he hasn't scored a single goal for WHU and has struggled for game time at a club that desperately needed a striker last season, is all.
19 Jun 2026 16:53:52
Yeah, I don't rate him, BullysBoy. He hasn't looked that good when I've watched him this season. I also think Jimenez and Armstrong will complement each other well, although we will probably only start with 1 striker.
19 Jun 2026 17:07:19
Valid points above, but West Ham signed him for a reason. They were almost as rubbish as us last season and even Harry Kane might not have scored in that team. If Peixoto rates him, let's keep our options open.
19 Jun 2026 18:16:14
Che Adams considering joining.
19 Jun 2026 21:04:15
Hope it's just the usual paper talk hype. Think we can do better than him.

Nice to see JLo getting smashed by Canada. Walking out on us saying the players were terrible. We could beat Qatar!
19 Jun 2026 06:08:09
I think you'll find that he didn't 'walk out' on us after all. He gave Jeff Shi about 6 weeks notice so that a replacement could be found.
Have we learnt nothing from the last week in that we shouldn't believe everything that's written down.
19 Jun 2026 08:11:04
Lop walked as he knew he wouldn't get backed in the transfer window.
19 Jun 2026 08:34:07
He left because he thought, after spending £100m in January, he could do the same in the summer and didn't seem to understand PSR. He stayed on because he had nowhere else to go, and was still being paid.
He did a good job keeping Wolves up.
But beyond that, his career is patchy at best. He's at Qatar for the money. West Ham was a disaster, but the writing was on the wall there when they replaced Moyes for him, thinking the style of football would be better.
19 Jun 2026 11:18:06
Also worth noting on Lopetegui that he left because he felt the club's transfer policy would see them relegated, was he wrong?!
19 Jun 2026 11:27:22
Good, maybe don't be so aggressive towards people when replying. If VB has said something that isn't correct, it's easy to say what you need to without coming across as such an angry know it all.
19 Jun 2026 13:06:56
No aggression on my part. I was just pointing out that not everything printed is true.
The Kieran Trippier ripping up his contract story is a very recent example. Likewise, the post I put up yesterday about Hakimisports and people reacting.
19 Jun 2026 14:48:28
All good. Hard to read tone in written text. Lop, for me, is all about the money. Spending 100m and then thinking we could keep doing the same with no restrictions. The only thing I didn't like is walking away from a team with 3 days to go before the season starts. He could have stayed until Jan to see how things went.
19 Jun 2026 16:54:53
I think Lop was sold an idea by Jeff that simply wasn't true. At the time, I was so angry with Lops, and how he walked away on the eve of the season, but then, a few months later, it transpired that he told Jeff on the pre-season tour that he wanted out.
He gave the club 6 weeks to find a new manager, but again, it was handled very badly.
19 Jun 2026 18:22:03
If Lop gave 6 weeks notice, then why did he get paid compensation? Was the contract set up that if he chose to leave he gets paid anyway? Can't get my head round that.
19 Jun 2026 18:53:30
If he was sacked, he would have been paid the remainder of his contract. As it was a mutual agreement, he was paid a %.
18 Jun 2026 23:12:42
Lopetegui is the coach of Qatar.
18 Jun 2026 16:30:18
Kieran Trippier has re-iterated his commitment to Wolves, despite Rob Edwards' sacking.
The right back has exchanged messages already with new WWFC boss Cesar Peixoto with the head coach making it clear that Trippier is crucial for his plans.

Which seems to imply that the naughty keyboard warriors and Daily Fails of the media cesspit were wrong from the start. Can't help it, but I really do despise sloppy reporting and Internet bs. I have long thought that the social media ban they are talking about should be extended to these idiots who tell fibs for clickbait.
18 Jun 2026 17:58:03
Exactly what I was thinking, Malcwulf. Spot on!
18 Jun 2026 19:51:48
Pablo from West Ham linked to us.
18 Jun 2026 20:19:06
Football Insider print nothing but lies, but the worst has to be Hakimisports. Today they printed that Cesar Peixoto had ruthlessly axed 5 players from his squad and told them that they do not form part of his plans.
The 5 are: Jose Sa, Boubacar Traore, Sasa, Jonny Castro Otto and Pablo Sarabia. Even worse is the fact that some have commented and called Otto and Sarabia a disgrace. It seems anyone can write any old s*** and print it.
17 Jun 2026 15:20:25
Sasa Kalajdzic coming back to Wolves? Yes, please. Superb hold up skills, ideal player to battle Jimenez for the 9 position. He’s contracted to Wolves until 2027, with the option of another year. However, if a decent bid comes in, he’ll likely go.
When Wolves played in the Championship under Nuno, there was a whole heap of rubbish in the squad. Thankfully this time it’s not as bad. Not that much work to do to slim the squad down for fresh players coming in.
17 Jun 2026 10:26:45
Just seen a report that Coventry are interested in Angel Gomes. I would have thought they had higher ambitions than that he was absolute rubbish for us.
17 Jun 2026 11:37:40
Quite a few who were rubbish for us have done alright for themselves, loads of 'em are at the World Cup, perhaps Fosun's ninth managerial appointment might do better with what he's given to work with. You'd really think they'd have worked out where the problem lies by now.
17 Jun 2026 13:05:11
Harry Kane would probably have been rubbish for us last season as well. Strikers need service. Thankfully, last season's nightmare of Jeff's misfits is firmly in the rear-view mirror, and we have a forward-looking new head coach in place now.
17 Jun 2026 16:27:58
It's something that I just can't get my head around; surely, if they were that crap, they wouldn't be playing at the World Cup. For whatever reason, it just didn't click, and it always looked disjointed.
18 Jun 2026 09:00:28
Poor organiation and motivation, thats all I can put it down to, Mrv.
17 Jun 2026 10:25:10
Glad Rob Edwards has gone. Chuffin' useless. Dreadful football. When he knew that he was going to switch to a back four, why didn't he implement that system when Wolves were down? Wolves were relegated the day he came in.
Why not play a back four and give Moller Wolfe game time? Because he wanted to keep picking his boy, Hugo Bueno. Sorry, but Wolfe is a better defender and equally as effective going forward. That was obvious from the minute Wolfe kicked a ball for Wolves.
Bye bye, Rob. Another Jeff Shi nightmare gone.
17 Jun 2026 11:45:11
CEO's aren't the nightmare makers, it's the ones who put them in a position they have no experience in.
17 Jun 2026 16:15:29
Sorry, clapped out, I beg to differ.
My opinion is Hugo is better than Wolfe.
But time will tell.
