Not so much as rumours as nothing is coming into public knowledge, just thinking about Friday, I still would play Krechiand Sa instead of Toti and Bentley as we need to utilise the player whilst he's here and get points on the board asap. That's the same for all of them although they might leave whilst the club are still paying their wages then they play.

Does everyone think the rumours of players coming in is because we are actually not in for anyone and just waiting to ship players out?
1.) 04 Aug 2026 09:48:13
There is a very clear reason why the club can't move the likes of Hwang and Toti. That reason being that they aren't very good, and other clubs don't want to pay them the big wages they are on to produce the rubbish that they do week in, week out.
Come September 1st, the club will say that they tried to bring players in, but this was dependant on outgoing movement, so, as no one wanted Hwang and Toti (both on £70k last season, but now on £52.5k pw), they were unable to bring the required players in.
It will be the same story in January, and every single window until those on big wages run down their contracts.

Different Shi, but same Fosun.
No ambition, just trying to appease fans with false statements.

What is the point of trying to pick a manager when the foundations are falling apart.
It's like building a house and it keep falling down, and you keep building it and the same thing happens again and again. It's the foundations of the club that need fixing first, from Jeff being replaced and a proper footballing structure put in place. If we do go down which unfortunately looks likely I can see us having a major battle not to be relegated again (Look at Sheff Utd at the minute).
Any appointment now has got to be with one eye on playing in the championship with the hope they can get us back within the one season.
If Fosun decide to stick around then the structure of the club must be addressed as soon as possible.

Keir starmer has thrown his hat into the ring can’t run the country so he said he’ll have a go in the football game
2.) 03 Nov 2025 10:16:40
You make some good points MRV. To borrow your house building analogy… we have been replacing bricks with wattle and daub since Nuno left. (Probably started before he left actually).
I agree about the risk of going straight through the championship to league 1. After all it happened in 2013 day it?
I still think someone like Rogers might, just might, keep us up if we could get him.
(See my previous post).
Otherwise, yes plan for a quick return from the championship, which would bring people like Robins or even McKenna? into the frame.
If they’d come … obviously.
FWAW.

Why are Fosun still hanging in to us? They are the last Chinese U.K. football club owners in the top 2 tiers.
US owners have been taking over but I’m still not convinced they appreciate ‘soccer’ as much as we do.
Still, could be worse, we could have a Greek owner who knows best.
We have a fridge magnet at home aimed at teenagers but could also relate to Jeff Shi:
Still living with your stupid parents? Quick, get out now while you still know everything! ?
4.) 03 Nov 2025 11:19:57
Actually BoS, Starmer might be a decent shout as he knows a lot about round things you can kick, that's all he ever talks.
5.) 03 Nov 2025 12:47:38
Might be best to leave politics out of it Boz, my MP is Gavin Williamson - he’s even more incompetent than Jeff. ?

Because of the current disconnect from fans and Fosun transfer policy does every one else suspect that the atmosphere towards Jeff on Saturday will be a little bit Toxic (which it should be to be honest). Fans will try and support the team but if and more likely we get turned over by a big margin then it will turn very quickly. I suppose we have a boxers chance of winning but having seen pre season it could be as bad as last season against Chelsea.
1.) 12 Aug 2025 12:04:17
MRV, I suspect as soon as we concede on Saturday then Jeff Shi will be enermy no1 again as he was as soon as we conceded against celta on Saturday . I suggest we fans support the team no matter what for the duration of the game as turning toxic during affects the team, fans can do what they want after the game .
2.) 12 Aug 2025 13:49:10
I think there will be some unrest on Saturday. However, Man City is a horrible first game to have. If we lose, then even with new signings it would probably be a game we wouldn't expect points from anyway. But if we win, it could give the wrong signal to the board and paper over the cracks.
I think this is proving to be a difficult window for a lot of clubs. Newcastle are in Europe and can't seem to sign anybody either, and Bournemouth have lost their entire defence. When the window closes will be the time to judge it.
My issue with the current board is the failure to increase commercial revenues to help with PSR and that starts with the stadium. It either needs completely redeveloping or relocating to be able to sustain Premier League football. Money has taken over the top flight and with PSR, those clubs who don't generate revenue won't be able to stay in the league or even dream of a regular mid table finish, never mind top 6.
Steve Morgan at least invested in the academy and started to redevelop the ground despite his other short comings. Fosun have got us regular PL football but seem to be ignoring the foundations that can help develop the club.
3.) 12 Aug 2025 14:22:04
I think Bournemouth are second up, that's the game to look at for season long signs, flop that one with most of their defence having been sold and we're most likely looking at a real struggle.

If it is O'Neil could it not be an option to bring back in Moutinio as a coach as he is apparently still living in the area. Would give the new manager a bit of a link between the players and may make it easier to start with.
1.) 09 Aug 2023 08:53:32
Like most people Jeff deals with I don't think he left on good terms so not convinced he'd even want to return. Especially with the current nonsense happening!
2.) 09 Aug 2023 09:00:11
Agree MRV that’s a great call!
Lop was a sheep in wolf clothing. Let’s move on
3.) 09 Aug 2023 10:15:30
MRV if nothing else as a translator when required.
4.) 09 Aug 2023 10:56:13
Short memory comes to mind are you on about the mouts that didn’t want anything to do with the squad the last home game and didn’t want to thank the wolves fans like Raul neves and others did he showed how much the wolves meant to him in my opinion
5.) 09 Aug 2023 12:06:40
JL bombed Joao and Raul and treated them badly. He also fell out with Neves and Podence. It’s not out of the question that Joao would now resign and Adama hasn't signed for anyone else yet!
20 Jul 2026 22:29:02
Did they not say they were going to throw the kitchen sink at getting promoted at the first time? What's changed again, or was it all lies? I think judgement day is fast approaching, as they asked to be judged at the end of the window. Can't believe Raul and Trippier would come if not, or have they also been lied to?
02 Dec 2025 09:26:45
Or even the 2 Chinese plays Yo Wanghumover, and I'll Wanghumin.
01 Sep 2025 15:33:08
That Sterling rumour better not be true if it is I'm done with the club, don't want him anywhere near our club at the money he gets paid. Would only be good if Chelsea paid all of his salary and came on loan. We needed a left back so why didn't we go for Chilwell who's home grown and prem experienced.
29 Aug 2025 16:34:16
Would Alberto pass a medical has he's just had a groin injury and is currently on injured list. Got to be careful with signing players as they will have to contend with Afcon in January
27 Aug 2025 14:23:15
Could also try Mitrovic, used to the prem league and scores goals and a bit of a ruthless streak as well. Artem Dovbyk could be another option.
18 Aug 2026 16:36:31
Honestly, you wouldn't run a non league team as bad as they are running Wolves. Totally unacceptable on all fronts. They had the season ticket money in, and then stuck 2 fingers up at the supporters.
Need to get behind Sutty protests, if any planned. They are just a bunch of liars. Jackson needs to find a new job. More importantly, we need owners who want the best, just like the Villa owners.
04 Aug 2026 13:04:31
They were good at communicating prior to season tickets going on sale. Very vocal and active. Since the close of that, nothing from Nathan. Did he also not say he would have another fans forum in 6 months' time? Well, that period is now up. I would suggest they leave it until the window closes, then they can get all their excuses out in one meeting.
29 Jun 2026 22:38:16
I'd take Dan James as British based, etc. Got pace, something that we are desperate for.
17 Jun 2026 16:27:58
It's something that I just can't get my head around; surely, if they were that crap, they wouldn't be playing at the World Cup. For whatever reason, it just didn't click, and it always looked disjointed.
27 May 2026 12:29:54
Can we not get Robbie Keen in now?
