Here's hoping for a good end to the transfer window onwards and upwards fwaw.
1.) 31 Aug 2026 13:07:48
B Hill Wolf, they better hurry up. Striker, RW, and a LB, if reports are true about Moller Wolfe. If Wolves sign the players Ceasar wants, I think Wolves will have a good season.
2.) 31 Aug 2026 15:57:44
Conor Coady left Wrexham.
Surely he could do some sort of role with us.
3.) 31 Aug 2026 16:02:27
If Krejci doesn't want to play in the Championship and no one stumps up the cash, let him fester with the u21s. We seem to be doing fine without him, and Tripps will be back before we know it. Defence can be juggled about, keep Sa behind a steady back4, and we will score more than we concede.
Roll on tomorrow night. A good result at the London Stadium, and the confidence will continue to grow. Come on you Wolves.
4.) 31 Aug 2026 16:32:05
If we beat West Ham tomoz, I will believe we can achieve promotion.
5.) 31 Aug 2026 16:48:16
Connor Coady would be a good influence around the club if he wants to come back. A coaching role, maybe, and he would also fit as a home grown player. Unfortunately, I think his playing legs are near the end, and, unless we revert to a back 3, he wouldn't fit into the current playing style.
6.) 31 Aug 2026 17:35:05
Be real. There are reasons why Coady wasn't getting game time at Wrexham nor at Leicester. He was suited to the three at the back we used to play, but ultimately defenders need to be able to defend. That was never his strength.
7.) 31 Aug 2026 20:47:25
Have to agree with Wolf, maybe as a possible coach, but he's just not up to the standard as a player. I love Coady, but sentiment doesn't get you promoted, quality does.
8.) 31 Aug 2026 20:56:28
Yes, that's what I meant, coach, motivator.
9.) 31 Aug 2026 22:02:09
Would be a great coach and motivator for the Under 21s, maybe.
17 Jun 2026 10:26:45
Just seen a report that Coventry are interested in Angel Gomes. I would have thought they had higher ambitions than that he was absolute rubbish for us.
1.) 17 Jun 2026 11:37:40
Quite a few who were rubbish for us have done alright for themselves, loads of 'em are at the World Cup, perhaps Fosun's ninth managerial appointment might do better with what he's given to work with. You'd really think they'd have worked out where the problem lies by now.
2.) 17 Jun 2026 13:05:11
Harry Kane would probably have been rubbish for us last season as well. Strikers need service. Thankfully, last season's nightmare of Jeff's misfits is firmly in the rear-view mirror, and we have a forward-looking new head coach in place now.
3.) 17 Jun 2026 16:27:58
It's something that I just can't get my head around; surely, if they were that crap, they wouldn't be playing at the World Cup. For whatever reason, it just didn't click, and it always looked disjointed.
4.) 18 Jun 2026 09:00:28
Poor organiation and motivation, thats all I can put it down to, Mrv.
11 May 2026 09:34:58
There's an old saying a poor workman always blames his tools before anyone jumps in about bad tools even they can be sharpend to make them better.
1.) 11 May 2026 16:08:57
Well there's plenty of them running and playing for the club.
01 May 2026 09:50:55
If we lose again tomorrow even the most ardent Rob Edwards fans must admit that it is time for change.
1.) 01 May 2026 10:34:29
To keep changing head coach is like rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic.
2.) 01 May 2026 12:16:15
Given Rob Edwards' record, is he still here because Fosun have recognised their and Jeff Shi's culpability for this season's predicted disaster?
If I was a conspiracy theorist, I would almost believe that they hired him in preparation for the Championship. As someone pointed out, when he arrived there were still plenty of points on offer.
3.) 01 May 2026 12:47:24
Sadly, I don't think Rob Edwards is going anywhere. He's not a PL manager - never will be - so if he does get Wolves promoted from the Championship, he'll almost definitely relegate the club again. I don't see the value in keeping him when anyone with half a brain can see that he can't manage a club beyond the Championship. It's not progressive thinking. I also don't trust any manager who takes the Watford job.
People at Wolves also need to realise how strong the Championship is going to be next season. Burnley, West Ham/Spurs, Southampton/Middlesborough, Wrexham, Birmingham City, and possibly Norwich, Millwall, and Hull. Where do Wolves fit in with that lot?
I can see Wolves struggling next year - and it could get nasty.
4.) 01 May 2026 13:23:47
Edwards got the job because nobody else really wanted it at the time. It was also likely to prepare us for the Championship, because the squad isn't good enough. However, Rob Edwards' limited abilities are only part of the problem. A master craftsman couldn't carve a masterpiece with a plastic teaspoon. In the same way, no matter how good a coach is, he still needs decent players and football people around him.
I can see next season going a similar way to the Zenga/Lambert season, and there may be some nervous looks over our shoulders at the bottom 3. And if we have any financial issues, the EFL will be on us quickly, meaning things could go from bad to worse.
20 Apr 2026 22:14:18
Well, it's finally happened. Now let's see what the board do now: will they stick with RE or start afresh? Hopefully it's the second, as I can't see the present management setup getting us back straight away.
1.) 21 Apr 2026 06:26:25
Edward looks like a beaten man already.
07 Sep 2026 08:25:02
If Armstrong is a positive 2gen, then we are in a very poor position. He was a complete waste of £7 million pound.
25 May 2026 10:26:18
Think we're stuck with him. Don't know why, it's been dismal under him. Can't see it changing, I mean, yesterday he played that waste of space Angel Gomes. Why not give Tom Edozie a full 90 minutes? What had he got to lose, nothing, maybe a lot to gain, but that's R E for you.
29 Apr 2026 20:08:19
We've been down that road before, not sure. I want to see us with stop gap players again.
29 Apr 2026 09:41:26
Let's hope it's true, and hopefully he will come back for Jackson and Tolu.
30 Jan 2026 17:25:09
You might think I'm being unfair but I don't think he's the right player for us he's turned us down before why not give Danny Angel the young under 21 striker a chance I don't think he would be more of a gamble than Adams in the championship
12 Sep 2026 20:12:57
If he does, and you're in the stadium, I'll call the ambulance.
12 Sep 2026 18:35:15
If he plays tomorrow and scores a wonder goal for us, what will your reaction be then?
12 Sep 2026 17:59:05
Thought our defence looked better with Krecji back in it last week. One silly mistake, and against West Ham a big deflection, a silly tackle for their penalty, and closing down quicker, it wouldn't look so bad, would it?
12 Sep 2026 17:16:06
It's still early days yet, Dmac, don't hit the panic button yet!
09 Sep 2026 14:13:47
At least he wasn't a pessimist.
