£400, 000 a month for Angel Gomes? Astonishing if true. We're lashing out the sort money that top six teams do. We can't put relegation down to the usual story of lack of money. Jeff Shi must have been toasted behind his back in boardrooms up and down the country for being a soft touch, like taking candy from a baby.
Hold on, Jeff presumably had nothing to do with the Angel Gomes deal, that should have been Nathan, so is the profligate expenditure still being done? I think I should send a fake invoice to Wolves, it might get paid!

Can't believe what I've just read: Angel Gomes being paid 400.000grand a week by Wolves for his loan period. Ridiculous.

I was at the Etihad and couldn't understand the logic of playing like we did in the first half why not play a4 2 3 1 formation and have a go it showed in the second half that it can work for me RE is to negative I'm not his biggest fan if anyone thinks he will get us straight back up look what happened to Luton when they went down under him suppose I'm going to be slammed for not backing him but my opinion is he's not good enough

I couldn’t watch the game tonight as busy but sounds like we did well. Another point away at Man Utd which can’t be bad and avoided getting some more unwanted records which is good. Now to aim for avoiding the worst team in the prem record and who knows what 2026 can bring.
I feel like we are improving every game under RE, hope for our first win at the weekend, big game that could change the outlook.

You might think I'm being unfair but I don't think he's the right player for us he's turned us down before why not give Danny Angel the young under 21 striker a chance I don't think he would be more of a gamble than Adams in the championship

Let's see what happens when the season is over. Personally, I'm 95 percent about renewal at the moment, mainly because I'm not convinced with RE, not happy with the two signings that he's made as yet. Can't see us finishing in the playoffs, let alone automatically being promoted. Hope I'm wrong, but we have to see if the summer signings are any better.

No one expected us to beat the champions twice, Goatmark, but 4 attempts all game, that isn't good. But that's not the only game it's happened. Angel Gomes is too lightweight. Armstrong never looks like scoring, and I personally think Re is out of his depth. He won't get us back first time; the rest of the Championship aren't going to lie down for us.

Totally agree, Banksy. Far too defensive in his style of play on Friday. Could have played Krecji in midfield instead of the ineffective Angel Gomes. I think we would have been more effective. Why not give young Danny Angel, a striker who scores goals, a few outings off the bench.
