Mixed about this one. A great deal on one hand for a player who just isn't doing it for us and even when he was scoring this time last year I didn't like his lazy demeanor. But its only a great deal if any of that money is reinvested now or during the summer which I fear it will not be.
Earlier in the window when we were linked to Callum Wilson on a free or Surridge from MLS and Bowie from Hibs I thought we could build a pretty formidable Championship forward line but now. early window optimism has gone.

Potential doesn’t equate to being a premier league player, it’s exactly that potential, other teams sign potentially good players but they also sign established ones as well, we don’t any more and haven’t for a while.

It seems you just spout anything and sometimes you get lucky and predict something that actually happens. Also you might want to look at a dictionary before you use big words, I agree with most about the running of the club.

Sadly De Wolf this was obvious, as I posted at the time, from day 1.
Inexperienced - but he is not young, which of course was an even bigger red flag - with neither the body or temperament to play men's football in England.
Fabio, who at least was young, Trincao, (the worst of the lot), and Guedes were almost paper patterns!
Other than Fabio, who was simply not very good, the others to be fair can all play but not at this level without "Sky 6" protection.
That is what made Jota just so good - he was no bigger than the other 4 in fact probably smaller than Fabio, but he had the heart of a lion and took his batterings and simply got up and went again!

Well if you remember our esteemed ex chairman said that no staff member would lose their jobs due to relegation, another lie of his, so you have to ask where’s the instructions coming from? I find it difficult to believe that Jeff was given carte Blanche to just do and say what he wanted, and I personally wouldn’t believe a thing that I read on any bbc article. It’s a fact an absolute undeniable fact that we are in debt to the tune of 300 million pounds, no amount of staff redundancies ( which apparently won’t happen ?♂️) or player sales are going to come close to reducing that, if you figure Gomes, Andre, circa 70 million.
Jsl maybe 40 now where do you see the other 190 million being raised? And the efl are a lot quicker to punish clubs who fall into admin or can’t pay their debts.
