Confirmed Nunes is part of the wolf pack
1.) 18 Aug 2022 02:12:17
Long time reader, first time message.
Had to register after the confirmation of Nunes tonight! Thrilling stuff. I genuinely believe we’ve signed a future world star. Someone that will raise the standards and expectations of the entire squad. Never thought we’d be in with a sniff of signing such a quality after 25 years as a season ticket holder.
Can only hope that this galvanises the fan base to get behind the team. Whichever way you thought things were going, whatever you think of Shi, Sellars, Fosun or Lage… transfers in and out. We all should be 100% behind this group now.
Up the Wolves
2.) 18 Aug 2022 06:38:46
Welcome YesYesNunes, let's hope everyone can get fully behind the club again. They have delivered for sure.
3.) 18 Aug 2022 07:00:59
A really, really good signing!
I think every Wolves fan will now be reassured Fosun are still serious about our great Club.
Thank you Mr Guangchang!
4.) 18 Aug 2022 08:20:56
Like most of us, I was trawling the Internet every 10 minutes yesterday and gave up at 11.30pm so great news to wake up to the actual confirmation.
Just need to finalise an out n out striker and we can all say it been a fantastic window.
Just not sure why it needed to be left so late- could have done with having some preseason together!
5.) 18 Aug 2022 09:39:38
Welcome Yesyesnunes :)
6.) 18 Aug 2022 11:18:11
I
Notification came through on my iPad at one minute passed midnight.
Went to bed a happy man.
What with players returning from injuries and loans the squad suddenly looks much stronger - but we still need a striker for this season at least- next season we’ve got Silva back with a year’s experience, a bagful of goals and the confidence to go with it.
Looks like Fosun still mean business after all.
7.) 18 Aug 2022 13:52:50
Come on Fosun!
Get a striker in for Saturday now please.
8.) 18 Aug 2022 14:09:06
John Percy just confirmed via twitter that MGW sold to Notts Forest for agreed £35m plus significant add-ons.
As much as it’s be nice to see him develop, we couldn’t turn that down! Great piece of business in my eyes.
Great business
9.) 18 Aug 2022 14:15:41
Mgw gone forest 45 million
10.) 18 Aug 2022 14:20:11
Looks like we are moving in the right direction I had started to wonder what was going on with the departure of cody and Fabio.i have just seen this looks like it could be good business if it were to happen.
michy batshuayi to wolves?

Although Bentley had let 4 in I think he had a good game. 2 deflected goal he could do nothing about, one cross across his goal, again nothing he can do about it. I'm happy for him
1.) 20 May 2025 23:49:46
He was dreadful pal.he dived too late on 2 goals and his positioning is Sunday morning.Alan Boswell wouldn't have made those clangers.
2.) 21 May 2025 07:02:46
Did you, have you, seen palaces goals rince? because I'd think you'd change your mind about Bently, he was awful.
3.) 21 May 2025 13:20:25
I think you need Specsavers Rince wolves.Regardless of weather sa stays or not Johnstone and Bentley both have to go this summer
20 May 2025 21:37:55
I don't mind the team tonight, it has bloodied a few of the fringe players and we haven't seen a world of difference between a very good palace side and what is essentially it B team. Some for promise for the future
1.) 20 May 2025 21:57:29
Crap result.stats say it all
2.) 20 May 2025 22:08:05
It was pick and mix tonight rince.
3.) 20 May 2025 23:42:56
Are you sure?
We played the Palace, (a lower mid table team) reserves and got smacked?
The fringe players?
Rodrigo was poor defensively - is he really a FB?
Djiga was not as good as "poor" and had to be removed.
Sarabia and Guedes, (neither of whom are likely to be here next season), were their usual selves, ie hopelessly inadequate.
Bentley shouldn't be playing Premier League football.
Our first 11 next season (depending on in-comings and
out-goings) might be just about good enough to stay up:
Sa, Semedo, Yerson, Emmanuel, Toti, RAN, Gomes J, Andre, Bellegarde, JSL and Munetsi but there is very very little behind them.
Even this will require JSL to massively step up because I don't see a lot of goals from Munetsi or Bellegarde and outside of Gomes J and RAN, (who along with Semedo might well not be here), no one else is likely to get more than the odd goal or two.
It is yet another huge summer for us and has to be better than the last few!
We need at least
a) 1 new GK capable of playing in the Prem
b) If Semedo is allowed to leave, (insanity!), a new first choice RWB as Lima is seemingly behind Gomes, who, (although normally looking a good player especially going forwards) is clearly not yet ready to be a first choice RWB! { same comment on RAN although Bueno H might be adequate - no more though -albeit a major downgrade going forwards)
c) At least 2 new CBs. At the moment we only have 3 who should be playing Premier league football - 1 of whom is currently recovering from another long term injury plus 2 not good enough Djiga - although early days - and Bueno and one now too old and not a cb anyway in Doherty?
d) At least 1 new CM as Doyle not good enough and Traore v v limited as a back up
e) Plus 2 or more new forward players at least one of whom has to be top half of the Prem quality from day 1!
In reality that is probably only 2 (or more if Semedo and/or RAN leave) first 11 players and a number of back ups but those 2 have to be top top quality players.
Finding them will not be easy or cheap!
4.) 21 May 2025 07:58:44
Only able to see the first half, which was enough tbh. Gone backwards it seems, thought GON was manager again, nuff said. Hope the pattern of previous managers is not taking shape again, so much optimism, worrying performance, good to see VP annoyed with the performance utter ?.
5.) 21 May 2025 09:11:55
Images are circulating of removal trucks at Semedo's house yesterday so if true, he is 100% off. Also there seems to be noise that Semedo wants to move back to Portugal to be closer to his family as one of his parents is ill. In that case, it's very difficult to blame the club.
I think over the summer we will lose: Sa, Johnstone, Semedo, Doyle, Forbs (end of loan), Hwang, Sarabia, Guedes, Silva and Cunha. No doubt the club have already made plans and in reality, only Sa, Semedo and Cunha are regular starters but all of those leaving need replacing. let's hope players have been identified, scouted and negotiations started.
6.) 21 May 2025 09:31:05
I did see those images Wandering, can’t really blame him given the circumstances. Thought that the performance was pretty awful last night, Doc looks a great player again. High turnover of players required in the summer, just hope history is not repeating itself otherwise we are in for another tough season. A result against Brentford on Sunday and good performance is now a must, need to raise spirits as we all low again now.
7.) 21 May 2025 17:10:29
Six wins on the bounce was excellent, but let us take into account who we played. As previous posts have pointed out we have been clueless against better opposition-12 occasions a substitute has scored against us-ridiculous. Not one penalty given in our favour-bad officiating or lack of penetration or pace in opposing boxes?
8.) 21 May 2025 17:12:27
Wonder when the premier league will take against the FFP cheating clubs? To my reckoning their are three in the Midlands, one in the North West and one in London. We shall see-hopefully
22 Apr 2025 21:59:24
Interesting topic on the BBC which midfield pairing would you rather have Gomes and Andre or Neves and Moutinho.
What do each pairing bring?
Which are the safest? etc.
Just a fun discussion
For me it is Gomes and Andre as I prefer the faster style of play.
How about the rest of you
1.) 22 Apr 2025 22:46:52
Always felt that having a defensive midfielder as your best player slowed things a bit as Neves was a ball magnet. However, Neves and Moutinho were World class and they showed it on many an occasion, so, it has to be them for me.
2.) 23 Apr 2025 08:20:16
Brilliant Q.
Andre and Gomes are going to get better and for me Gomes is by far the most progressive of the 4 giving a better balance perhaps?
However Moutinho and Neves were as Long say world class and the current two are not there yet - although still amongst the very best in the Prem so I'd go for the old boys.
How fantastic though that we have managed to sign 5 - Lemina was top top draw as well until GON ruined him - high class mids over the past few years.
Well done the recruitment team!
3.) 23 Apr 2025 09:09:58
Great question! Both paira were/are class in their own way. But I'm going to cheat, cause I think watching Gomes and Neves play together would have been an absolute dream! It would have let Rueben push forward a little more and given us the best of both worlds work rate (Gomes) and technical genius (Ruben)! COYW ?
4.) 24 Apr 2025 08:01:35
Interesting take on Lemina, Future. O'Neil certainly did mess him about by playing him in all sorts of positions but top drawer? For me he was generally solid and dependable (what we were missing when we bought him), ie typical journeyman that he is.
5.) 24 Apr 2025 12:28:12
Old I think that is a fair description of his overall career but for 6 months playing with J Gomes last season he was in my view sensational.
Actually thinking about it pretty much the whole team was, (Hwang had his purple patch and we were flying), so what happened after Coventry?
Neto and Dawson were injured and the team fell apart.
Could it be that Dawson was the "manager" and GON merely stood on the sidelines with his ipad and took the credit?
Certainly it made last summer's decisions even odder. Knowing you couldn't operate without Dawson ad Neto and knowing Dawson was done you sold Neto and Dawson's right hand man Kilman and replaced none of them!
Unsurprisingly we reaped what we sowed!

Has anyone read the Munetsi article in the Express and Star? What a gent, donating 10% of his salary to his own charity set up for under privileged children
1.) 21 Mar 2025 06:59:56
Top man.
2.) 21 Mar 2025 08:59:59
Very impressed, as you say Black.Topman.
3.) 21 Mar 2025 12:05:06
Munetsi is fantastic. He will go on to be a very important player for us.
4.) 21 Mar 2025 13:54:25
His attitude seems good and he's also seemingly grateful to be where he is, a good influence all round by the sound of it.
30 Jan 2025 23:48:10
Not heard much about Grasshoppers FC recently. Do we still have lots of academy players there or any potential
1.) 31 Jan 2025 08:05:12
I thought Guo wife had sold her shares in the club.
2.) 31 Jan 2025 08:29:20
Short answer Nope!
3.) 31 Jan 2025 12:42:56
she bugged grasshoppers up
4.) 31 Jan 2025 13:33:39
Sold. Didn't like playing with that toy anymore.

a good workman never blames his tools. (of which some we have sold on) however, it seems football is different. i do not think we have a bad squad, lacking depth maybe but certainly something that could be worked with. i am sure jl has his reasons, but i think wolves being on solid foundations of the most important thing currently
22 May 2025 20:34:40
To be honest regardless of how much any of us like working at our current job, if someone came along and said we will pay you three times as much to do the same job for us, you would all take the money. Footballers are no different, they have loyalty, but they also have common sense
13 Apr 2025 14:35:19
I think the post was aimed at the media. He even played in his wolves gear. Media trying to make something out of nothing
16 Feb 2025 14:48:11
This referee is giving me nightmares
20 Dec 2024 22:39:31
What did trigger his reaction?
29 Sep 2024 00:23:17
It isn't Long, but we are not there yet. We have gone through a serious rebuild since Nuno I suppose and Large and Lop didn't get it anywhere near. At least you can see GON vision, even if it isn't working out yet. I have faith. FWAW
