Confirmed Nunes is part of the wolf pack
1.) 18 Aug 2022 02:12:17
Long time reader, first time message.
Had to register after the confirmation of Nunes tonight! Thrilling stuff. I genuinely believe we’ve signed a future world star. Someone that will raise the standards and expectations of the entire squad. Never thought we’d be in with a sniff of signing such a quality after 25 years as a season ticket holder.
Can only hope that this galvanises the fan base to get behind the team. Whichever way you thought things were going, whatever you think of Shi, Sellars, Fosun or Lage… transfers in and out. We all should be 100% behind this group now.
Up the Wolves
2.) 18 Aug 2022 06:38:46
Welcome YesYesNunes, let's hope everyone can get fully behind the club again. They have delivered for sure.
3.) 18 Aug 2022 07:00:59
A really, really good signing!
I think every Wolves fan will now be reassured Fosun are still serious about our great Club.
Thank you Mr Guangchang!
4.) 18 Aug 2022 08:20:56
Like most of us, I was trawling the Internet every 10 minutes yesterday and gave up at 11.30pm so great news to wake up to the actual confirmation.
Just need to finalise an out n out striker and we can all say it been a fantastic window.
Just not sure why it needed to be left so late- could have done with having some preseason together!
5.) 18 Aug 2022 09:39:38
Welcome Yesyesnunes :)
6.) 18 Aug 2022 11:18:11
I
Notification came through on my iPad at one minute passed midnight.
Went to bed a happy man.
What with players returning from injuries and loans the squad suddenly looks much stronger - but we still need a striker for this season at least- next season we’ve got Silva back with a year’s experience, a bagful of goals and the confidence to go with it.
Looks like Fosun still mean business after all.
7.) 18 Aug 2022 13:52:50
Come on Fosun!
Get a striker in for Saturday now please.
8.) 18 Aug 2022 14:09:06
John Percy just confirmed via twitter that MGW sold to Notts Forest for agreed £35m plus significant add-ons.
As much as it’s be nice to see him develop, we couldn’t turn that down! Great piece of business in my eyes.
Great business
9.) 18 Aug 2022 14:15:41
Mgw gone forest 45 million
10.) 18 Aug 2022 14:20:11
Looks like we are moving in the right direction I had started to wonder what was going on with the departure of cody and Fabio.i have just seen this looks like it could be good business if it were to happen.
michy batshuayi to wolves?

Anyone seen the Power House of Birmingham City? I love their ambition to build a better ground and wish we would do the same. However I am not stuck on the design and think it will date really quickly
1.) 22 Nov 2025 04:18:02
Its a weird one Rince looks like a pig on its back with its trotters in the air.
2.) 22 Nov 2025 07:00:43
At least they got ambitious owners, more than we got at the moment
3.) 22 Nov 2025 12:20:42
I think they clearly have ambitious owners who are likely on to a winning model. There are no stadiums like that in the West midlands and if they time it right with that stadium and a push into the Prem they could quickly become THE team of the West mids. It kills me saying that, makes my blood boil as it was the promise we were all sold and we were right there on the brink of starting on that path but we lost to Seville and Fosun lost all interest! Such a wasted opportunity towards actually achieving something.
Whereas now, if/when we are relegated this season after YEARS of investing nothing in the infrastructure what will Fosun or us GENUINELY have to show for their time with us?! Absolutely nothing I'm afraid and that is a frankly damning indictment on their part! ?
4.) 22 Nov 2025 13:01:05
I don't know if they lost interest Bully's, more likely realised the cost of maintaining a European campaign or even Premier League status as it turns out.
I think they, like many other Chinese owners rushed into this with their eyes wide shut to curry favour with their Government. Once that money dried up it became a death by a thousand cuts for the Club. They should have sold it back then.
As for this proposed development, ambitious but frankly hideous.
5.) 22 Nov 2025 14:01:57
You're right, Long. Fosun are out of their depth in the PL. Through my industry I have some insight into Fosun. They invested in a jewellery company I know because the Fosun chairman was pleased with a purchase he made in one of the jewellery outlets in Hong Kong! That company went bust, but there was massive fraud. Fosun tend to invest in a very hands-off way without really getting to the bottom of things.
Fosun also looked at buying Newcastle before Wolves. They naturally think that Wolves should pay for itself, as that's the way they look at all their investments, without comprehending that football is not just a business opportunity. They should sell, but if relegation is inevitable they have lost the chance of a £400mil sale.
6.) 22 Nov 2025 14:07:45
Looks like Birmingham are going places, not sure if plans for
new stadium are ok but it's certainly different. At least it shows ambition, sadly lacking with us.
02 Nov 2025 11:42:23
He has been sacked. Onward and upwards hopefully
1.) 02 Nov 2025 11:54:36
Happy they have finally done this, should have been earlier but done now. Was starting to think we would still have VP going into international break. Who next?
2.) 02 Nov 2025 12:00:02
Pity he can not take some of the players with him and Jeff Shi.
3.) 02 Nov 2025 12:02:03
Think we have to be really careful what we wish for now. We need stability and a plan to save our club from sliding out of the premiership. Hopefully someone can come in, with a plan how we should play, and the fans will need to get behind them.
No one out there will tick all the boxes, but someone who has experienced success, and can guide us away from the bottom 5 or 6.
4.) 02 Nov 2025 12:09:34
Who can we expect. To take over
5.) 02 Nov 2025 12:37:11
Brendan Rogers seems to be the one most talked about in the press and Ole Gunnet Solskar is next.
I have a sneaking feeling that uncle George may play a part.
It will almost certainly be someone who is available now as the club will not want to pay competitive after paying VP off.
Stability is the key to our survival. A defence that is organised and the team on that.
I don’t know who it will be but it needs to happen now and it needs to be right. The stream of failures since Nuno departed is a story in itself.
02 Sep 2025 01:28:04
I haven't heard anything, so I'm guessing we are keeping Sasa. That is a win for me, he looks like he may have something to prove
1.) 02 Sep 2025 06:20:38
Albion were in for him Rince
2.) 02 Sep 2025 07:31:53
Christian eriksen. Free agent?
3.) 02 Sep 2025 08:54:59
We'd have to offload sasa or another to recruit Ericsson, even if fosun would pay his wage, greyleg, to conform with home grown quotas apparently.
4.) 02 Sep 2025 08:55:50
not a bad shout Greyleg
5.) 02 Sep 2025 08:59:01
According to Judah they still intend to loan him out but will do so to one of the many countries whose deadline is yet to pass. One of which is his home nation of Austria, I don't think we actually have space to register him with Tolus arrival
6.) 02 Sep 2025 09:15:20
Bully was Lima part of the quota, or with him being only 19 he doesn't need to be counted?
7.) 02 Sep 2025 09:31:29
Good question Sydney, I think (as he's only been here a year) he would have needed to have been registered and with us not having enough homegrown players that was possibly why he was sent out?
I am surprised that they didn't think to send him out locally, with his age surely it would have made sense to get him homegrown to the nation? The fact he's off to Portugal does make me wonder if the lads having a hard time settling here ?
8.) 02 Sep 2025 09:45:35
I'd say the adjustment is tough for any young lad adapting to a whole new culture and country, agree maybe playing locally he may have struggled with same issues, Porto could be a good move in order to get him back on pitch in a environment similar to his homeland and language
9.) 02 Sep 2025 11:50:25
I could be wrong but I thought it was the where the club that owns him resides. So still time to make him homegrown even if he’s on loans elsewhere. Definitely need to start focusing on getting homegrown players in though.
10.) 02 Sep 2025 12:43:27
Unfortunately that is no longer the case Goat. They changed it as (in fairness) it made the entire system a little pointless if it was just about ownership. It is now very much about where you train and play your footy, which means that (unless recalled in Jan) Lima will now not be homegrown
11.) 02 Sep 2025 15:01:47
Tks BB
I feared that it had to be 3 years unbroken so as soon as he played for Porto it was over?
12.) 02 Sep 2025 16:59:28
Ah yes, you are correct TFG (as usual:) another change they made was that the time has to be continuous not collective! Big chance missed then, also calls into the question as to why bother signing him again! ?
30 Aug 2025 16:04:30
I understand the sentiment regarding fields of gold as our walk on song but it doesn't get the crowd revved up like Hi Ho silver lining
1.) 30 Aug 2025 17:18:56
I agree Rince sends everyone quiet and subdued. Anyone who thinks we not in relegation fight must be mad. Emmanuel and Toti are so slow and always likely to give the ball away from a stray pass. Fans already turning a bit on VP, fear history is going to repeat, new manager at Christmas and bottom of table, hope not but looking bleak at moment.
2.) 30 Aug 2025 17:24:27
Can you provide one to get the players revved up?
3.) 30 Aug 2025 17:51:54
Liquidator
23 Aug 2025 23:33:17
What has happened to Agbadou. He doesn't look as solid as he did last season and so many stray passes
1.) 24 Aug 2025 08:13:13
What we need is a talisman
Like neves and cunha were
No one cones anywhere near them at moment, toti captain, I don't think so, bellegarde before andre, I don't think so, vp. Needs to get his act together, before its too late
2.) 24 Aug 2025 08:13:57
In my opinion he wanted to be captain and is not giving his all, I would put him on the bench.
3.) 24 Aug 2025 14:22:25
Totti and Agbadou were liabilities yesterday. Totti shouldn't be captain (no idea who should tho), it just seemed that being captain it's his responsibility if a forward gets free he should stop them by fair means or foul. His booking was ridiculous, in the middle of the park - no danger, the red card was obvious, yes impede the forward and trust your keeper, but it could have been a red and a penalty.
Going forward, JSL is carrying a knock, but Arias needs to be further forward where Munetsi plays, and the wing backs should be busting a gut to get forward when we have the ball, which Jackson and Bueno seemed to be able to until the red card.
Munetsi or JRB should be played in front of the 2 Brazilians, harassing the midfield leaving JSL and the flair players up front backed up by the wingbacks.
That's my take for what it's worth
06 Nov 2025 19:22:25
However, we have been declined permission to speak to him
02 Nov 2025 12:51:11
Maybe take Ten Hag
20 Sep 2025 20:52:40
A poor start certainly, not helped by late signings. However, I still feel that we have enough quality to stay up especially once the team fully gels. There are glimpses of what we can do when we are playing together, just not there yet. All this will be forgotten if we go on another mini good run
14 Aug 2025 22:26:57
@moyneuxway. He also looks like he can defend too
05 Aug 2025 10:53:33
Oxley, has he himself said this
06 Nov 2025 19:23:40
Middleborough have rejected our approach to speak with him.
20 Sep 2025 20:53:49
??♀️ This guy
27 Aug 2025 09:42:44
Thought Andre had a good game too. Sasa certainly looking a good neck up as he gets back to fitness. Agbadou still looks a little off it, but we seems more focussed without Toti in the line. Should we choose a new captain? Certainly not Hwang, but given the circumstance a nice gesture
26 Aug 2025 07:22:22
I remember yes. Lost to a dubious goal at Manchester U first game. Thought we looked good as well
23 Aug 2025 23:31:32
Hi Abbey. The ref gave a straight red for the challenge. My original question was if he was offside in the first place. I'm guessing not but it looked close. I hope they checked. Very very soft straight red
