Does anyone else think we are in serious danger, of losing the best manager we have had for a very long time, or ever, due to our oriental owners having no clue how to run our football club. Put up the money for quality players, not has beens and one abees. Another season of being the laughing stock. Please sell up and allow someone in with the same hopes and desires, to match the fans who have put up withrubbish leadership for too long

What we need is someone with more money than sense.
2.) 30 Jul 2025 13:34:36
Problem is there seems to be no takers

I don't think so Willow, I think VP knew what he was walking into, he's pretty much acknowledged that. Let's see how much support he get's by the end of the window as the rumours and alleged missed signings may all be smoke and mirrors.
We'll know soon enough.

Problem is, there are rules.

Wandering Wolves just needs someone competent.
The club is capable of running without external funding if it is competently run.
However Wolves are not competently run or are run with a different agenda to the one the fans have.
Wolvo 1963 With respect to finding new buyers I guess it depends on the price Fosun is putting on the club.
It may well be far more than the club is worth.
Note Brentford sold a stake to Claudia Schiffer recently valuing it at £400m.
Wolves are clearly worth substantially less than that as Brentford have £200m less debt and are massively, circa £80m pa, more profitable.
Indeed it is hard to use any sort of rationale valuation technique on Wolves that doesn't indicate that Fosun would have to write off their debt to even give the club away!
However football clubs, especially Prem league clubs, are not valued rationally!
Note Fosun may well value Wolves more highly than other investors as they use the Wolves "brand" to support a variety of their other businesses esports, the sports clothing brand etc etc.
Plus, more controversially, it is possible that they are also re-charging some head office management activities to Wolves extracting tens of millions a year - as discussed previously where else does the £141m wage bill go?

Fosun must be priced Wolves high value putting prospective buyers or investors off .

What gives ex owners and managers the right to complain about how we conduct our buisness. didn't see anyone moaning when amorim was tapping up cunha in the tunnel at the theatre of dreams. Good luck rob, hope you can turn our season round

Met him on a number of occasions, really a great man, and a great goalkeeper of his time, RIP Phil Parkes. ?

Must have been there the same time. 68 now, and seen good and bad. The bad times, losing to Chorley, nearly going out of business, the Bhatti brothers, cold winter games, in the Waterloo Road, North and South Bank, to name but a few. Good times, the Millennium Stadium on the day we returned to the top flight, Sunday afternoon at the Old Wembley, winning the Sherpa Van. Beating Leeds to prevent the double, and every victory against the Tescos.
I was fortunate enough to lie next to the goals, home and away, while my dear dad took photos for the Express and Star, a totally different outlook on games.
Back to the present, I have a good feeling about Cesar, but at the end of the day that comes down to the owners, and surely they can't let us down again, can they? Personally I can't wait for Friday night, with a near full Molineux, rocking, like only Molineux can. A good result from a tight game and I will be happy. Winning breeds confidence, so no moaning, let's get behind the boys, and roar them onward and upward.

Well said, Moby. Yes, we are not world beaters, but an improvement on last season's dross, and with virtually the same players. Obviously, we need a quality keeper and centre-back, maybe a strong box-to-box midfielder. Maybe we should give our strikers a chance, cos if the supply is better, then the goals will come.
To moan about the manager not having a plan B, when they are still growing into the new system, is plain madness. I, for one, am more confident than at the end of last season.
Maybe last night was about trying to please our fans, but surely, at this stage, results are more important. Onward and upward.

How can the team who lost the play offs be promoted. I, for one, hope they get beat, so Rob's new Wolves turn them over next season.

Call me bonkers, but think we could beat them at home
