Wolves set to sign Ghislain Konan and Sean Neave as their two late additions.
Both players likely to be unveiled tomorrow if all goes well.
Liam Keen.
02 Sep 2026 05:39:18
I thought the loan window closed at the same time as the transfer window.
02 Sep 2026 06:03:40
Konan can be signed as he is a free agent.
Unless the paperwork was signed before the deadline, Neave isn't coming in. The transfer window, including loan moves between clubs, closed at 11pm yesterday.

Wolves set to sign Ivory Coast international free agent Ghislain Konan.
Left-back worked with Cesar Peixoto at Gil Vicente last season & will be the replacement for David Moller Wolfe.
01 Sep 2026 23:38:40
Rumours circulating that the Sean Neave loan deal was not completed in time. Anyone got any news on this?
01 Sep 2026 22:42:06
Nothing else happening today. Neave will join on loan, no option to buy.
Harry Amass staying at United. Wolves are looking at Ghislain Konan. Left back, knows Peixoto from last season at Gil Vicente, played at World Cup, and is a free agent.

When's the Amario Cozier-Duberry signing you were so confident about going to be announced?
01 Sep 2026 23:25:35
In Middlesboro!
01 Sep 2026 23:46:23
I can't believe that some fans actually thought Fosun were going to sign players.
01 Sep 2026 23:59:28
Mean while Ballard scored his second for Bristol. This is what's so frustrating, they didn't need to spend silly money they just needed to be sensible. Ballard went for around £4m, he's an ex Arsenal academy player who has represented England throughout and couldn't have been needing a big wage as Bristol don't give those. In short he would have been the perfect back up for us up front, whilst being well within budget. Instead we sign a Newcastle academy player, with no real first team experience who is on loan and therefore just building his value for another club.
It's the complete stupidity that Fosun approach these windows with again and again which kills me! As for Nathan Shi/Matt Jackson how dare you sit there in the fans forum and openly lie to us? Your both a disgrace and if we fail this season trust me you will see how these fans truly feel. Just stop pissing on our legs whilst telling us it's raining! 🤬
02 Sep 2026 01:51:27
Good while it last, calm down, buddy.
02 Sep 2026 05:55:15
I'm calm, buddy. But you did spend a long time on this rumour.

There is a verbal agreement for Hwang to join Schalke.
Final negotiations between S04 and #Wolves are ongoing.
01 Sep 2026 19:07:36
Amario Cozier-Duberry on his way to Middlesbrough season long loan. No option to buy. Anther one bites the dust!!
01 Sep 2026 19:17:01
That's going to come back to haunt us. An injury to one of Gomes/Mane/Armstrong and we're struggling. Baffling decision.

Schalke agree deal to sign Wolves forward Hwang.
Latest from Sky Sports News' Anthony Joseph:
Schalke have agreed a deal to sign Wolves striker Hee-Chan Hwang in time for the Bundesliga deadline.
It's understood the German club will sign the South Korea international on a season-long loan deal, with an option to buy.
Hwang, 30, is due to travel to Germany tomorrow to join up with his new teammates.

Big miss letting M' boro beat us to Crozier.
01 Sep 2026 18:12:47
From Judah.
Despite strong interest from Ipswich Town, it’s becoming increasingly likely that Ladislav Krejci will stay at Wolves this window.
Still five hours to go, but at this stage, expected to remain a wwfc player.
01 Sep 2026 19:28:55
I think we can forget about him going to WHU. Watching the transfer show, & they've just signed a LCB from somewhere.
01 Sep 2026 17:23:26
Hamburg will pay #Wolves a £500k loan fee for David Moller Wolfe and have a £12.5million option to buy him permanently.
Newcastle striker Sean Neave is said to be travelling to Wolverhampton to have a medical ahead of joining Wolves on loan.
Rayo Vallecano now have a new goalkeeper lined up so likely Jose Sa stays at Wolves.

Thanks for this update, Rko.
01 Sep 2026 16:37:57
Does anyone have any ideas on Moller Wolfe's replacement?
01 Sep 2026 13:50:32
Breaking news: Wolves in talks to sign Newcastle striker Sean Neave season-long loan.
01 Sep 2026 14:58:19
Is he any good? Does anyone know, Iv never heard of him.
01 Sep 2026 15:02:22
Just gone 19 and scored 10 in 14 games for their U21s last season.
01 Sep 2026 15:04:16
Only made 2 senior appearances, I believe, with the time being less than 20 minutes combined.
01 Sep 2026 15:05:14
Highly regarded by my two Geordie pals. They reckon he needs to bulk up, but can learn so much from Raul. Trippier knows him and his family very well, apparently.
01 Sep 2026 15:05:37
He's an up-and-coming striker, has played a few minutes in the PL and Champions League, and could be useful. Only 19, but Newcastle rate him. He wants to get minutes and progress in his development.
01 Sep 2026 15:23:45
I've always maintained that we should judge this window when the window ends; if this is the only player we bring in today, it will be a failure. We are in desperate need of a winger and a striker - preferably two players that can impact a game from the off, not a youth player.
01 Sep 2026 15:59:10
He can play both RW and ST, or any advanced midfield position. Very highly rated and looking for first team minutes - so pairing with Raul or Armstrong, who he knows already, could be really good. Unlikely to get two more in now, so one who can play several positions, including the two we need strengthening, is a sensible compromise.
Looks like we need a new lb, and possibly a GK as well, so resources are stretched to get all these in.
01 Sep 2026 16:41:03
If we lose Sa and/or H Bueno, it would be a disaster at this point of the window.
01 Sep 2026 16:54:40
Always the optimist. 😉😂
01 Sep 2026 17:33:23
Do we have an option to buy on this Neave lad? Can't see that we do?
01 Sep 2026 12:03:52
Deal agreed between Wolves and Hamburg for a loan with an option to buy for David Moller Wolfe.
Still working to establish the exact amount the option will be.
Player is already in Germany to complete the move - and Wolves are advancing to sign a replacement left-back today.
Just one of many moving parts on transfer deadline day.
Hold on to your seats, it's going to be a bumpy day.
01 Sep 2026 13:07:52
The young lad from Manchester United sounds like a decent replacement.
01 Sep 2026 13:13:18
I liked Moller Wolfe. He just wasn't used correctly last season. We saw at the World Cup that he is a decent player if used correctly.
There will no doubt be those who wanted him out and, now that he's gone, will ask why the club allowed him to leave.
01 Sep 2026 14:25:40
I thought he looked OK at the World Cup, but nothing special. He's great going forwards, which suited the style of the squad he was in, but in reality he was still very average defensively. As someone else points out, he is far too casual and allows far too many crosses to get into the box, with little to no challenge on the winger.
I'm not sure you can say he is defensively poor as a result of the system he was in, to be honest.
01 Sep 2026 14:37:15
I didn't see much in Moller Wolfe that was worth writing home about. Just another very average player who cost Wolves too much money.
