Wolves have reportedly been floated as an option for Raheem Sterling, whose contract with Feyenoord is ending this summer.

He turned down numerous clubs as he didn't want to take a pay cut from his £350k a week salary. Chelsea paid him about £20m to terminate his contract, but can you actually see Wolves paying him anything like he wants? Or can you see Sterling having so little ambition that Wolves is where he ends up? I can't.

I think the £20m payoff helped when he decided to accept £22k per week. I know Fulham and West Ham were both interested in him, but he point-blank refused the moves, as they wouldn't pay him the salary he wanted. I think they offered him £100k per week, whilst Chelsea paid the remainder. He agreed to join his current club only after Chelsea paid him off.

Sorry no chance on Fullkrug he's 32 and useless Deli Ali no chance way past his best. Simon Gibbson owner of Middlebrough has all ready told Wolves they will not do business with them. So that rules out D Fry Haden Hackney and Aiden Morris. Chamberlain as with Ali past his best they are free agents if Wolves wanted them why wait can sign them now.

People come on here to leave a load of old pony for the sake of it. In what world would Wolves go for the vast majority of those players? The Hackney link is an easy one to make given he's at Boro, but he'd be daft to join us given we are destined to go down and could move to a better Prem side in the summer.

We need pace and flair in the final 3rd.
Veira from Arsenal would have been a great option.
Poku a young dutch winger in the Bundesliga looks a punt for pace.
Tommy Doyle would bring a different midfield profile in and allow J Gomes to play further forward.
We still need balance at wing back though. Cheeky loan for Pubill?
I'd go for Neves on loan as well it might work out in the end.

Sterling would only come for the money & we can't afford to pay him what he wants. Not convinced about Mane either. He needs to sharpen up a bit. Gonna be a long summer.

Anyone who wants to play for the club, with the ability to help get results in the Championship. The aim should be to win the league and not make up the numbers, but, realistically, the rot needs to stop first, and the best way to do that is rip out any problem players or players who don't want to be at the club.
Of course, what happens next will depend on a competent recruitment team.
