Wolves are reportedly considering Cesar Peixoto's position. Early stages. Names listed are Eddie Howe and Sean Dyche.

This really is becoming tiresome now.
We are 12 games into a 46 game season and sit 2 points off an automatic promotion spot.
Yes we've hardly set the world on fire but the table doesn't lie. We've lost to West Ham and Middlesbrough away who many are claiming to be the best 2 teams in the division.
If we were cut adrift then I could understand the clamour but when we are sitting 4th and plugging away, why change?

Rubbish rumours. And as for Eddie Howe, he has bigger fish to fry! Even Sean Dyce would be in the running for a PL team in distress. No way are we sacking CP; in fact he is doing a good job with the resources at his disposal.

Well they would be wise to always have contingency plans, but they probably haven't learnt that lesson as we always seem to make the mistake of not having someone in mind. That said no reason to fire the guy that I can see.

Eddie Howe? If people/news outlets are going to conjure up names to replace Peixoto, at least make them remotely realistic.
Eddie Howe will only be joining Wolves if he's offered a 25-year contract on £400,000 per week, and the main stipulation in the contract is he's sacked after two hours and the entire contract is honoured.
He can spend the two hours having an omelette in the Performance Kitchen.

Zinchenko sustained a serious ACL injury in Feb and is nowhere near match fit.
Sancho has proved that he isn't that good but will demand at least £80 per week.
Icardi brings too much drama and is a liability. Just look at the reasons why Galatasary let him go.
Martial is constantly injured hence why Monterray let him go a year early.
The rest just ain't as good as they were and are either too old (Saiss and Eriksen).
Some are already complaining about Trippier and Raul being too old but understand that they can bring vital experience but how would you feel if we brought in more older players who we know simply wont be able to play 2 games a week. Not to mention the wages they would demand.

Wolves cant sign any free agents without cancelling someones contract - so not going to happen.
Neave (although a loan signing & U21) has to be registered as a normal squad place as per the rules for loan players.

They're free agents for a reason. Sterling's head is gone as well. He's on bail after crashing his Lamborghini on a motorway while suspected of being drugged up. And, we have no vacancies in the squad. Give CP time to get the squad firing on all cylinders, we are only 5 points off automatic promotion, with a game in hand.

Every time I have seen Max play he looks absolutely class. Mature beyond his years. I would welcome this. Not sure if his age would mean we wouldn't have to lose anyone but as I type that Neave is in the same boat age wise and I guess someone would have to make way.
I'm sure a couple may want to get out in Jan if they haven't had much minutes like Bouba for example.

I believe you would need to lose someone as under 21 loans are not viewed the same as under 21 permanent players.
Given it would be a mere half season loan with obviously no chance of buying him, unless he was so good that he dramatically altered the likely outcome of the season, I am not sure it would be worth having to lose a squad player - unless perhaps they could be sent on loan somewhere else - to merely develop a player for another side.
Hence the Neave deal is also a little weird. He is unlikely to play much - as a back up to Raul - so doing little for Wolves but takes a place in the squad.
Newcastle however gets to park him here saving money and see him hopefully develop at Wolves expense?

There's no way we would get a shot at Max Dowman unless we could offer him guaranteed first team minutes. When we signed Jota in the championship in 2017/18 he came in for some rough treatment from opponents. Not sure if we are a good fit for Dowman as we are improving match by match. Can't do anything until January anyway.

If we are looking for a wide player in January, then a loan deal for Ben Gannon-Doak from Bournemouth would be a brilliant deal for all parties. As a Scot, Inwant to see him getting more game time, which doesn't appear to be forthcoming at his present club.

Mean while Ballard scored his second for Bristol. This is what's so frustrating, they didn't need to spend silly money they just needed to be sensible. Ballard went for around £4m, he's an ex Arsenal academy player who has represented England throughout and couldn't have been needing a big wage as Bristol don't give those. In short he would have been the perfect back up for us up front, whilst being well within budget. Instead we sign a Newcastle academy player, with no real first team experience who is on loan and therefore just building his value for another club.
It's the complete stupidity that Fosun approach these windows with again and again which kills me! As for Nathan Shi/Matt Jackson how dare you sit there in the fans forum and openly lie to us?
