If at all possible it would be good to see a team of predominantly British players who can communicate with one another. This could be a boost to home nations national teams if proved to be successful.
Not saying this to be racist as I don't care what colour or ethnic background they are from. But back in the 70s it was deemed exotic to have an Irish player in the team but my God were they happy days.

Wolves to beat forest 2 v 1 and relegate forest same as we got them promotion in1976/77 when we beat Bolton last game of season and dyche sacked as a result any takers

I expect the usual MGW show where he’ll bang one in and do that wretched fingers in ears celebration.
Following Sheff Utd vs Middlesbrough and it’s depressing seeing Boro seemingly improving post Edwards, and Hoever being so sh1t he can’t get in the Utd team - though he could get in the Wolves team. What a sorry state Wolves have become.

Thought exactly the same of the utd Borough game NaN, and I expect we'll have to go the MGW routine again tomorrow .
I'm really hopeful that we can turn up tomorrow and put in a shift, although it must be a near impossibility for RE to get any level of disciplined enthusiasm out of the squad now.
Every game is watched in resigned curiosity by me now, still wishing and hoping of course, but not overly excited

God I would love to see us beat Forest but I just can't see it right now. Our squad is possibly one of the worst this league has ever seen and I'm not convinced Edwards is making it much better either to be honest. Time will tell but we look light years off being a Prem quality outfit right now! ?

No confidence they will win any game, have a bad feeling about Forest game. Wouldn't be at all surprised at 3 or 4 - 0 Forest. Can't defend and can't score so bleak times. Most teams like West Ham etc. strengthens in transfer window, we actually weakened ours.

Would anyone agree we should put out an unchanged team on Sunday in the hope they are learning how to interact with one another under the new coaches. I do see areas where we still need work i.e. how quickly our defence can be turned but we are getting better! If players wish to leave the club so be it just so long as their value is met and the club works to fill the gaps I appreciate it looks as though nothing is happening but that has been the way the club has been run for some time keep the faith

Agree

Forget all the B/S that's occurring at the moment and hope whatever team we put out today can invoke the spirit of new years day 1990 and stuff Newcastle come on me babbies

Deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Terry Wharton excellent winger to watch when I started going to molineux back in 1963

Very sad KHwolf, one of my favourites back then as well.

Yes, I remember him in 1965.

Larsen had his head turned by Newcastle and felt he was better than wolves well we will see. On the incoming players Armstrong proven at the championship level so could well prove a good acquisition, Gomes if he is a shadow of others we have taken with man Utd history (Ince, irwin, Ebanks blake) then we will not be disappointed.
As for Agbadou he may still go as window does not close in Turkey until the 6th

Don't shoot me down, but wasn't Doyle loaned with an option to buy?

I wouldn't concern yourselves whether we are bigger than Seat Ham or Forest, as it looks likely it will be Wolves, Burnley, and Spurs for the drop, especially if, as rumoured, they are targeting Ryan Mason as manager. You only have to look down the road to see how bad he is.

Surprised, delighted, enthused by the overall team showing. They seemed to fully understand what this fixture means to so many fans who will be able to walk down the road with heads held high. If it takes nights when the heavens open, let's all start doing a rain dance now. But, humour aside, I am really pleased for all at the Molineux. Well done, lads.

Spell check changed my message. It should read: Hope Oxford go on a run to get rid of both Sandwell and Foxes.
21 Feb 2026 21:32:21
Would be even better if Oxford were not on a winning streak and we got rid of both.
