My friend also a Wolves fan, sent me an article in Spanish (had to translate it using Google Translate), saying that Rayo Vallecano were really interested in Hugo Bueno, and have already approached Wolves about it.

Is this true? Because, Rayo don't have a good left back, having sold Pep Chavaria, they also have the money.

Is this story true?

Mateus Mane has been approached by Frankfurt as well as Borussia Dortmund. It looks like the player will depart if the clubs meet Wolves' 40-50 million valuation of Mane.

If they offered that much I'd drive him there myself! That's double what Dortmund paid for Haaland or Bellingham, and as much as I like Mane, he ain't in the same league as either of those two. I would be genuinely amazed if we get any offers over £30m for Mane. Time will tell.

Nottingham Forest and Paris FC are interested in signing Marshal Munetsi, who just returned from a good loan away at Paris FC. This is according to Transfermarket
Bellegarde has also attracted interest from Besiktas, but doubt Wolves will sell him.

Munesti wouldn't even get into Forest u21s, where are these rumours coming from exactly?! ?

08 Jul 2026 20:59:24
Trabzonspor interested in Tolu Arokodare. He might leave given how much depth we have in our striking positions.

Adam_Wolves

1.) 09 Jul 2026 01:01:16
Depth?

2.) 09 Jul 2026 09:36:15
Sarcasm.

3.) 09 Jul 2026 10:52:21
No point in keeping Tolu at Wolves if he has no future at the club. There wouldn't be a place for him in the team with King Raul Jimenez. I’m hoping Wolves bring Sasa back into the team. He would complement Raul.

4.) 09 Jul 2026 12:24:55
Sasa is not up to it, Ice Wolf. Watched him on his brief appearances in the World Cup, scored a good late equaliser, but was totally ineffective otherwise. Not quick and easily bypassed, Raul, Adam Armstrong and Mane will be well ahead of Sasa, plus any further additions.

5.) 09 Jul 2026 19:22:20
Honestly, I prefer Tolu over Sasa any day of the week. If Tolu is ok to play a secondary role, he would be a brilliant super sub. He is physical, and fights for every lost ball.

We saw how brilliant he was in the Liverpool game, even bodying Van Dijk. Imagine what he could do against tired Championship defenders, though he does have to work on his scoring a bit.

6.) 09 Jul 2026 22:27:13
I completely agree with Adam.

17 Jan 2026 17:58:04
Full agreement found between Besiktas and Wolverhampton for Emmanuel Agbadou for 11.5 Mil.
Thoughts?

Adam_Wolves

1.) 17 Jan 2026 18:54:12
Far too cheap. We need to tell teams if you want him then this is what you need to pay. I would have said 20m personally. We are too nice and cheap when we sell our players.

2.) 17 Jan 2026 19:40:42
Well we bought him for a reported £16.6m so for a full year of Prem experience most of which he has been our best CB and we are selling him at a £5.5m loss! Absolutely shocking business which also says just about everything regarding the current state we are in, shameful! I also worry about the message this sends, cause we can keep pubicaly saying that 'we haven't given up' but if your sat in that dressing room and watching the best players be sold off at a loss then I'm afraid to say that as a player you'd be forgiven for thinking that the club has indeed given up and as such it's now every man for himself! As always it's Fosun who are to blame and to think I spent all summer having a handful of posters telling me what a great job they are doing! ?

3.) 17 Jan 2026 20:21:34
On last season's form the 3rd best player in the squad.
So the question is was that the anomaly or was the blip at the start of this season, ( when Vitor clearly was to put it mildly not running the show as had done for a brief period the season before and standards were allowed not to slip but plummet!), the anomaly.
If you think he is rubbish and last year was somehow a fluke - not sure how you play that well for that long as a fluke myself - then Wolves have got a fair price albeit still a fair bit less than they paid and will record a loss even after amorts on the trade.
But if you think he was a victim of Vitor's cataclysmically bad management over the summer/early part of the season but is actually capable of reaching the levels he did last season then it is a very bad sale.

It is a disaster for the rest of the season and although he was unlikely ever to play in the Championship a first sad dismantling of the side that should be too good for the Championship but might not, after the remainder of the good players leave, be good enough for it.
It also demonstrates clearly what the squad might raise - after Gomes, Andre and Krejci unless someone is still willing to - unlike it seems with Emmanuel - look beyond this year maybe JSL and with a fair wind Mane, Arias and perhaps Tolu no one else will raise much at all.
Just watched Forest get a point and see that neither WHU or Burnley lost so yet another v bad day for the club!

4.) 17 Jan 2026 21:22:33
BB - as usual spot on.

Astonishingly if you look on social media there are still supposedly Wolves fans sticking up for Fosun claiming it is just v hard/impossible to run a club in the Prem any better than they have.

There are even more - in fact I would say most posters - who think that next season somehow everything will flip and Fosun will once again, (they were for 4 years at the start before Covid/ Chinese government pressure/Jeff's hubris/Jeff's incompetence bit post Seville), become great owners after realising that being outside of the Prem is not as financially rewarding as being in it - wow really who would have thought!.
The current side, albeit desperately thin on depth, with just a new RWB and GK is good enough not just to get promoted from the Championship but survive in the Prem . Why then you might ask is it going down so so badly?
Sadly, but given what an idiot he is totally predictably, Jeff didn't learn from his catastrophic mistake with GON and kept Vitor several months too long and then to compound it RE failed to drop JSL or play Mane until it was far too late.
New GK, New RWB, Yerson Emmanuel, Krejci, Bueno ( or Wolfe) Andre, Gomes, Mane, Bellegarde, (or Arias), Tolu would easily get promoted.

But at least 6 of the players named above won't be there - maybe more - and none of the newbies will be anywhere near the quality of those leaving so Wolves won't be walking the league next year or indeed anytime soon!

5.) 17 Jan 2026 21:27:49
At 5pm it was reported that agreement had been reached but at 6pm another report says €14m + bonuses turned down.

6.) 18 Jan 2026 13:52:19
You don't get anything for 11.5 million these days. who sanctioned that?. 18 million minimum. no matter how it's buttered up he's a premier league player until the end of the season.

7.) 19 Jan 2026 01:17:20
My guess with Agbadou is that he sees the writing on the wall and wants out, don’t forget how bad his form was at the start of the season, you don’t go from being an absolute rock to not being able to pass the ball 5 yards.

Maybe he hit bad form, maybe he had a falling out with Vitor but my guess is he was sold a dream by the club and that dream turned into a nightmare, so now he wants to leave, hence the cheap price.

Simms looked good and will thrive in the Championship if we can get him. Might be a good signing.

Adam_Wolves

1.) 22 Aug 2026 08:54:40
If we can get the guy they chose to start last night in the Prem? Is that realistic, if he's getting into the team at this stage? I think what last night proved was that it was not a real rumour, to be honest.

20 Aug 2026 19:27:00
If Fosun do sell Hugo Bueno, which looks like it is going to happen, then Harry Amass is a good option, but he might not want to come as he won't get guaranteed playing time, he will be used as a bench option. But we could go ahead and try to sign Ruben Vinagre, who has been playing well in Poland, also there is a sentimental value, also I think Wolves have 50% of his economic rights.

Might cost the club downwards of 2 mil. Also he is good at going ahead dribbling and crossing.

Adam_Wolves

1.) 20 Aug 2026 20:57:20
Ran on loan?

16 Aug 2026 11:47:19
Just saw the match replay right now. Poor game, poor defence. One thing that everybody here can agree with is that Toti Gomes has to go (from the starting XI). We need a new LCB fast if Krejci is also leaving. We won't survive one minute against the likes of West Ham, Middlesbrough with this defence. Trippier was good. Moller Wolfe was decent, but Hugo Bueno got to start. Munesti was ok. Fer Lopez was class; he will be carrying the team. Rodrigo Gomes might not be ready, he should be used as a sub.

A new winger is necessary. Also Mane is not a winger, he plays better down the centre, like an inside forward, maybe he will play better when Hugo Bueno plays.

We also need to change the formation, maybe the old boring 3-4-2-1 will work in the championship. Also Bentley was decent; he is not quality, but you know what you expect from him. But still we need a new gk (Zetterstrom).

Conclusion : Krejci can't be sold, a young new winger on loan, a cb if Krejci is sold, change of formation.

Open to suggestions.

1.) 16 Aug 2026 14:24:28
Spot on, Adam.

Fer Lopez looks good with the nomadic role between midfield and wide attacker, with an eye for goal.

As much as I like Mane and Rodrigo Gomes, they can't play in the same 11. Mane tries to be like Fer Lopez, but he doesn't seem to pick the killer ball and attempts shots from distance instead of playing others in on goal. Rodrigo is great from the bench, but has he got 90 minutes in him?

Without Jordan James, Wolves need to develop that box to box midfielder. Before I get shot-down, Marshall Munetsi could become an important element, but the Molineux faithful seem to dismiss him.

Given a decent run and hopefully successful string of games, MM will grow in confidence, as I'm sure many others will after the debacle of last season. 2 or 3 1-0 wins on the trot should be the aim, then reassess. Those wins will require a change of goalkeeper (Sa) and centre defender, hopefully Krejci to replace Toti.

Early days, but the Blackburn game had too many incidents reminiscent of last season, especially during the second half.

2.) 16 Aug 2026 15:36:28
I agree with you on Munetsi, as I don't know why so many people don't like a player who seems to give 100% every game. Especially when you compare this to the likes of Mane, who it seemed like couldn't be bothered to track back on Friday, often leaving Wolfe (who didn't cover himself in glory either) 2 v 1. Also, whilst not the most technically gifted, Marshall could be perfect to play with Fer Lopez and Andre, who are both technically very good.

Whilst signing James would be nice, I currently think the flanks, in defence and goalkeeping are bigger issues that need solving first. Munetsi is a box to box player who will work hard every game, so I feel a lot of his criticism is undeserved.

3.) 16 Aug 2026 16:26:37
Until Mane starts playing for the team instead of himself, he is more a liability than an asset. He needs to learn when to shoot and when to play a teammate in.

4.) 16 Aug 2026 16:45:41
I agree with Wolvo.

13 Aug 2026 11:35:13
Santiago Bueno has already said yes to joining any good Premier League club. But the problem is that no club has actually asked him yet.

Adam_Wolves

1.) 13 Aug 2026 12:35:00
I have the same problem. Been saying for years I want to play in the Prem. Do they listen, do they heck. ??

2.) 13 Aug 2026 15:20:59
Odd, given that we are often told on here just how great Santi is, and yet he gets no offers.
Perhaps, slow and weak aren't the attributes other clubs want in a Prem footballer - Fabio anyone?
Even stranger, Hwang, who apparently is a commercial gold mine for his club, also can't be sold.
PS I have actually seen posters on other sites suggesting the club simply pays up the contracts of a number of players including Hwang.

Gone from a gold mine worth a fortune in non playing revenues to being worth less than 0???
It is genuinely odd, though, that he has no suitors, as, although he is not a great player, he is still a full Korean international, and had in the past shown enough to make one believe he could even be a Prem player again in the right circumstances?
Maybe Wolves just aren't very good at this transfer lark?
PPS: Boring finances, but the scale of the wages and amort write off required would make paying up contracts very difficult under SCR

We also have Nathan Fraser and Dani Angel in our U21s, who are not bad as backups. However, maybe a loan deal for a player like Shim Mheuka or Chido Obi Martin (I know, unrealistic, but he will ball out in the Championship).

Is Amario Cozier Duberry actually being considered? I just wrote a post in banter praising him. Didn't know that Wolves were actually interested in him. Would be a class signing though. Has a really high ceiling.

Honestly, considering all factors, a debut before the Sheffield Wednesday match is quite difficult, no matter how hard Wolves push. Even if Wolves sign him this week (fingers crossed), it will take him some time to understand the playing style, and no manager would put a new player straight into the starting XI.
