Wolves have suppesedly put a bid in for lazio GK Mandas who Wolves offered 20mill for from Lazio. This was last season his price is now half that and Wolves have a loan to buy option has been turned down which. If true just buy the guy 10 mill euros is what 8 mill pounds we need a new goal keeper look at his stats.

So Wolves may be interested in Niclas Fulkrug of West Ham alongside Fulham according to Keith Wyness.
It would make sense as I'm pretty sure they intend to sell JSL at some point in the near future.
13 Nov 2025 11:15:41
Sorry LongmyndWolf he's more injured than Callum wilson which says a lot plus he's 32 no from me. Put something on went on to Banters page have a read.
13 Nov 2025 11:23:07
Fulkrug is absolutely useless, shockingingly average. So we'd be swapping a proven Prem player for one that's not up to it, so like you say makes sense buddy looking at our previous/current transfer strategy! 😭
13 Nov 2025 14:48:46
Absolutely DMac but as Bullys said it actually makes perfect sense given Jeff/Fosuns transfer policies.
14 Nov 2025 12:53:30
It is all so depressing .
I have been a Wolves fan since the 1960s
and apart from the Bhatti era I can't remember ma more depressing time to be a Wolves fan.
Fosun will hopefully dump us when we're relegated around March time.
Then hopefully we will get owner's who are not just interested in making money and to hell with football and the fans.
12 Nov 2025 14:13:13
Official now Edwards has signed.
12 Nov 2025 14:36:43
Just read his comments, it doesn't fill me with confidence. EDWRDS and SHI OUT!
I am of course being flippant.
Here's to Rob turning things around.
12 Nov 2025 16:10:08
Interesting choice of first team coach Harry Watling, also from Middlesbrough he must be one of the youngest to achieve full badges.
12 Nov 2025 17:07:20
Tbf Fordhouses mate Shi does need to go.
13 Nov 2025 06:24:56
Reports suggesting Matt Jackson is set to become Wolves’ new sporting director.
Interesting re-set. Means Shi is sacking himself from that role, which is a start.
Now just resign full stop!
13 Nov 2025 07:48:34
I think it’s a token appointment rug, shi will be calling the shots as always
13 Nov 2025 10:46:28
Football will be Matts input but wages, fees and contracts will be Shi's responsibility I suspect.
12 Nov 2025 07:08:25
J.gomes is said to be of serious interest to United, they are happy to wait until the end of the season to try and get him but may try in January, Cuhna is said to be using his pull to persuade him
12 Nov 2025 09:42:51
I suspect they will wait till the end of the season, because like most of our players I suspect his relegation release fee is a fraction of his true value! Add to that he has a one year option built into his contract.
Essentially if/when we get relegated not only do we go down but we also get to watch our squad leave for a mere fraction of their true value, take a bow Jeff you've worked tirelessly to get us here! 🤬
12 Nov 2025 14:15:52
De Wolf not sure if you either watched the Chelsea game or read my review but it was clear, despite playing on a side that was well beaten, that he was the best player on the pitch.
This is a Chelsea side that contains 2 central mids who cost over £100m each.
It is therefore no surprise that he will attract interest from the Sky 6 teams.
BB I obviously agree I put a figure of £40m on Gomes - a player who if he was playing for a proper club would not leave for anything less than 9 figures!
12 Nov 2025 14:18:54
Our CEO/Football Director has made a statement about the new manager.
On extract stood out for me."We need to refresh the whole club with a new coach’s philosophy".
If he had left it at, "We need to refresh the whole club", I would have been much happier.
Sadly, Fosun are showing no signs of replacing a passive CEO, with one that is pro-active.
12 Nov 2025 14:33:25
I was thinking the same rugeley, the only refreshing thing I want to hear from Jeff is he’s handed his resignation letter in.
11 Nov 2025 13:53:39
Interesting article I read today, apparently the club have no plans to spend heavily in January and will rely on loans to get players in
If true this points once again that fosun are looking to get out, now I know all the Jeff shi fans and fosun defenders will say “ why would they risk us going down and see our value lose 2/300 million overnight” well they paid 30 million for us, they haven’t invested in the ground, academy ( which is about to lose elite status rating) the women’s team, why? As there’s no return for them, yes they have spent on players but they get a return on them sometimes a really good aka kilman, Neto, jota etc
Make no mistake folks this whole mess stinks to high heaven
11 Nov 2025 15:28:11
Makes sense as well because they probably realize now that we are going down and spending lots in January would be to much of a gamble for them. To be honest I don't think they could attract good enough players even if they was willing to spend a lot.
Loaning players make more sense as the players themselves know they aren't going to be there long and they will be playing. Fosun will see it as something that isn't costing them much and its a safer gamble if there is any very small chance of survival.
11 Nov 2025 15:38:20
I hope you're right. The club has been run into the ground. The sooner this lot are out the better.
11 Nov 2025 15:53:37
Fosun only wanted the badge for their esports side of things.
11 Nov 2025 19:12:04
Loans make sense. We would really struggle to attract top targets. Enough good quality players not getting game time at parent club. Given the size of top Premier League academies there are plenty of young players with aspirations of making their country’s World Cup squads who need minutes.
If the focus is young English players then loans from top clubs and perhaps some Championship clubs not challenging for promotion is a possibility.
12 Nov 2025 12:10:30
Looks like we will be scrambling for crumbs from the rich man's table in January! This could work out for us. Any PL team not expected to be in a relegation battle could have quality players needing minutes. Not that I'd want him, but Raheem Sterling is being paid a fortune by Chelsea and he's not even in the squad, for example.
The wastage is enormous. We should review every player we have out on loan who could be recalled in January. A herculean effort will be needed to save us but I believe we will survive. Regardless of where we are next season, Jeff must go and preferably Fosun too.
12 Nov 2025 19:53:39
Some interesting thoughts in this thread. Players of Raheem Sterling standard would I imagine be payed wages to high for most clubs, even for a loan move.
If we do go down we will clearly need to reduce the wage bill quickly so I also suspect Gomes and one or two others will be released for the usual lower fees that we've come to expect. After this shambles I frankly can't see the more marketable assets staying even if we survive.
Taking any championship young players would probably be with a view to signing them for a promotion push next season as I can't see most championship clubs loaning young assets, they will surely want to sell.
They've rolled the dice. What happens next is anyone's guess.
10 Nov 2025 13:56:49
Wolves in talks with Lescott to become Edwards no 2 has experience as a coach with England.
10 Nov 2025 17:07:21
Lescott has done nothing to warrant the position
10 Nov 2025 18:37:12
Looks like he's currently playing in a six a side league QS, going off the players we have if we do sign him might be worth making him a player/coach! 😂
10 Nov 2025 21:54:31
If the back room staff are just going to be our old players that's just sentiment and not common sense. We are in enough trouble without having inexperienced coaches. Perhaps just preparing for Championship next season. Get the white flag out Jeff!
10 Nov 2025 22:45:41
Lescott has been a coach since 2021 so is qualified.
I'd bring in another ex player in Mike Stowell too.
11 Nov 2025 10:11:24
Lescott had an exceptional playing career, including over 200 appearances for Wolves. 4 years coaching experience with England Under 21s and also the full England squad. He must know a thing or two about the game. If he's prepared to put his reputation on the line by joining Wolves, we may be onto a good thing.
11 Nov 2025 12:27:22
Its all to keep the fans on side.
We should be showing more ambition.
Nothing against Edwards or Lescott but they don't scream a path to a brighter future.
Why have Fosun gone quiet time to start explaining what's happened?
And can Shi please step away from football affairs this is a minimum but I would move him on.
11 Nov 2025 13:51:42
Whilst I agree about Fosun and Shi (silent t) going I’m fully behind Edwards and Lescott.
After all, beggars can’t be choosers.
11 Nov 2025 15:28:58
According to reports this is unlikely to happen at the moment
11 Nov 2025 15:35:49
Lescott ain't coming anymore.
11 Nov 2025 17:41:55
He’s probably been intimidated by comments from the great ones such as Rooney, Shearer, Neville, the mighty Simon Jordan, etc. etc.
Seems Rob Edwards has the biggest b@lls!
09 Nov 2025 13:37:36
David ornstein saying Edwards will sign three and a half year contract next week with a compensation of 2mill to Middlesbrough.
09 Nov 2025 14:26:05
In place on Monday, just agreeing his coaching team.
09 Nov 2025 14:31:50
Nice package
09 Nov 2025 15:59:03
Hoping this is the one thing Jeff has got right! 🙏🤞🙏🤞🐺⚽️
08 Nov 2025 17:50:19
It's done guys Wolves have agreed deal to appoint Rob Edwards as their new head coach after Vitor Pereira got sacked.
Edwards will leave Boro and sign for Wolves - source Fabrizio Romano
08 Nov 2025 13:14:54
Rob Edwards given permission to speak to Wolves👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
08 Nov 2025 16:42:44
Well it appears that Rob wants the job, he's local, it's his club as a supporter, so I'm sure he fully understands the situation he's taking on. It could go either way, what experience did Nuno have, who had heard of him, similarly Zenga.
One worked the other didn't. The biggest issue I see in the short term is language barriers. Dreaming here but Joao Moutinho as a coach/interpreter!
09 Nov 2025 14:23:46
Its not even a similar comparison.
Nuno had won leagues with Porto and managed in the champions league.
I wish Rob the best of luck.
Revert to a back 5 focus on clean sheets and get the players with pace in the squad. 10 points by January might keep us in touching distance.
Sign Christensen (Loan), Mingueza, Pubill (Loan), Elliott (Loan) and Poku.
Bring Doyle back.
09 Nov 2025 20:05:10
Nuno was fired from Porto after one season after finishing second. He was also fired after one season at Valencia after finishing 4th with questions asked at the time about the size of transfer fees being payed for players who were clients of Jorge Mendes.
In his second season at Rio Ave he took them into the europa league.

11 Nov 2025 12:28:40
Ahh my bad Arddunby getting mixed up with Lage and VP.
11 Nov 2025 17:29:38
Hopefully Rob Edwards can galvanise the players and we'll see an upturn in performances and a more attacking team. If we go down, at least we've got a manager who knows how to get promoted.
08 Nov 2025 10:29:48
Middlesborough have removed Rob Edwards from taking charge of there match today.
08 Nov 2025 11:23:43
Yes I seen this got to be a positive on our part looks like he's on his way to us
08 Nov 2025 12:14:31
All very unsavory.
Listened to Jacqui Oatley on the radio this morning.a Wolves fan and knows exactly where the blame lies. She has asked to interview Shi and he has refused. She also said he will not engage with the E&S either.
Fosun's reluctance to sack him is killing our Club.
08 Nov 2025 12:35:06
Mowbray tipped to replace Rob Edwards. Southgate, Martin and Robbie Keane all mentioned as potential new Boro boss.
08 Nov 2025 13:20:22
Now confirmed. All fans will wish you well Rob.
Though best of luck working with Shi.
08 Nov 2025 13:59:42
What gives ex owners and managers the right to complain about how we conduct our buisness. didn't see anyone moaning when amorim was tapping up cunha in the tunnel at the theatre of dreams. Good luck rob, hope you can turn our season round
08 Nov 2025 14:25:32
Hope I am wrong but I don't think the appointment of Edwards is very ambitious. Perhaps they are resigned to relegation and want a championship coach.
