I think you can expect more players to be sold know Neto kilman semedo sa think will be gone looks like a fire sale before club gets sold shame
1.) 08 Aug 2023 23:01:58
Pure speculation at its best.
2.) 08 Aug 2023 23:14:39
I can't see no more players going.if we do get players in it could be loan to buy
3.) 09 Aug 2023 00:04:24
Why will they be sold now he’s gone?
4.) 09 Aug 2023 00:23:55
Because of ffp
5.) 09 Aug 2023 06:46:40
Podence?
What's the latest on him?
Over next few days when the shock has sunk in I think posters//fans will then have more calm thought out views.
At present a lot of anger and angst.
6.) 09 Aug 2023 08:30:29
Wolfy if it was because of FFP then surely they would have had to be sold anyway!
What does O Neil arriving have to do with that?
7.) 09 Aug 2023 10:52:04
I'm hopeful this will turn out alright, O'Neil has a much better squad than he had at bournmouth, and by all accounts he's very likeable. So maybe he can suprise everyone

Good god, there's an overdose of negativity on here today! Even some fans on this site who I rate very highly are predicting relegation. Since promotion in 2018 I have never predicted relegation, quite the opposite. And I won't start now. Some fans predict relegation every single season! I never wanted Lopetegui to leave but s**t happens. O'Neill's standing as a coach is obviously lesser but I think he will do a good job at Wolves. He earned his spurs keeping Bournemouth up after Scott Parker complained Bournemouth didn't have the quality to stay up! While he is less experienced that Lope he will learn fast on the job. O'Neill is not a quitter, which is more than you can say about Lopetegui.

So I see villa have a new manager already looks like there club is run properly unlike ours sad state of affairs going on at molineux I think
1.) 25 Oct 2022 08:05:15
Something is rotten in the state of Denmark.
2.) 25 Oct 2022 09:31:37
Nice bit of Shakespeare there ❤
3.) 25 Oct 2022 10:08:36
Thomas Frank is sitting in his castle waiting for us.
4.) 25 Oct 2022 11:03:15
Jokes aside. Heard the Emery deal with Villa is set up by Mendes.
5.) 25 Oct 2022 11:21:41
Yes he did, so much for being "our guy"
6.) 25 Oct 2022 11:44:17
Brighton and Aston Villa seem to have sorted their manager replacement within days.
Sadly we have a CEO and Head of Football who are not fit for purpose.
The low morale in the Club has the ownership of these two.
Not sure there is a manager out there can sort the issues of a dysfunctional squad created over the last 5 transfer windows, without much input of our last two managers.
The fact the U18s journeyman coach, without any senior coaching staff support, is managing the squad until further notice says it all.
7.) 25 Oct 2022 12:16:07
BartonWolf Mendes is anybodies guy if they have the money. I don't believe he has any loyalty.
8.) 25 Oct 2022 12:56:22
I'll chuck this one out there, does Davies have any respect or clout from/over experienced international foreign players (beuno aside) and would moutininho perhaps get a better drive from them as a temporary player manager?
9.) 25 Oct 2022 14:03:39
In fairness to Mendes what's he's supposed to do?! Deny Emery a chance to move because we almost certainly didn't want to stump up the wages and compo?! He's an agent, his loyalty is to his clients and that's how it should be! As always Fosun are trying to make savings in all the wrong places, an out of work manager (meaning no compo) or a manager only 14 games into his career (meaning almost certainly lower level of wage). What Fosun seem reluctant to do is pay a decent wage AND decent compo fee, it's one or the other! They've been trying to run a Prem club while making savings. Which in itself doesn't have to be a problem if the person making the savings knows what they are doing, we had Jeff! Years of his incompetence seems to all be coming home to roost I'm afraid ?
10.) 25 Oct 2022 15:59:00
Quite correct Bullys Mendes is an agent for his client not Wolves, for whom he may be an advisor, nothing more.
Sadly, there is a visible timeline of events leading to this and yes, all on Jeff Shi's watch. Too much autocracy and poor judgement or just a Fosun puppet, take your pick.
As fans we try to remain positive and supportive but if we're all honest we could see this day coming. If we'd lost on Sunday 1-0 it would have been bad luck this and bad luck that and they would have just kicked the can down the road a bit further, when we all know the problem runs much deeper. Leicester had 5 shots and scored 4, Wolves had 19 shots and scored 0, confidence or competence?
11.) 25 Oct 2022 16:02:49
Life isn't fair mate! Mendes- nothing more than a glorified pimp! Bear witness to the demise of our beloved football club! Fosun made us relatively successful, now they will bear witness to our aforementioned demise!
12.) 25 Oct 2022 16:04:21
Are we hanging on to appoint Marcello Gallardo can’t sign for a new club till December just a thought but we will need two wins before they all depart for World Cup duty to give him a chance if he was to arrive
13.) 25 Oct 2022 16:05:35
Brighton had a new manager in no time at all, the same with Villa. Less than a week it took them. Here's stumbling around in the dark with no plan and no idea. Managers fall over themselves to get a job in the Premier, but we are not run like a Premier club, so anyone taking the job will be On an hiding to nothing. No doubt Steve Davis is Wolves through and through, so are just about all of us who post on here. But non of us could manage the club and with the best will in the world I doubt if Steve can. I think those running the club have their heads buried if they can't see the dire position they have created.
14.) 25 Oct 2022 16:23:55
Fosun is a big multi-national organisation and Wolves is only a tiny part of their empire.
Hence why we have a junior manager assigned to run our "business".
However there is global prestige in owning a Premiership Club, so I am hopeful eventually Guangchang will be very unhappy with things and look to remove Shi and his appointees.
Soon please though!
15.) 25 Oct 2022 16:48:44
I understand the frustration regarding a new manager but maybe, just maybe Brighton and Villa wanted their respective managers and went for it and we didn't want them. Personally, I think we've identified who we want but just can't have them immediately, so possibly Gallardo or Galtier if PSG get rid of him as rumoured.
16.) 25 Oct 2022 19:08:06
Vitor Pereira
24 Aug 2022 21:48:45
Yes he has inside information from club its totaly true 100 percent
1.) 24 Aug 2022 22:32:14
About as 100 per cent as me winning the lottery.
Sorry but I don't believe anyone on here who claims to have inside knowledge as so far every single one has been bull manure.
There is nothing on any of the outlets about Sa.
2.) 25 Aug 2022 06:32:20
Well if its not true Meza there will be no escape for you.
A very very bad thing for us to have Sa out and will be on my mind now all day thinking has he or hasn't he.
3.) 25 Aug 2022 13:24:58
He hasn't Phil mate none of the outlets or even clickbait have said anything about SA being injured.
24 Aug 2022 18:05:14
Jose sa broke his hand ?♂️
1.) 24 Aug 2022 21:37:09
No he hasn't
2.) 24 Aug 2022 23:27:52
Derby beat you! ?
3.) 25 Aug 2022 05:31:24
Imagine being beaten by Derby? ????
22 Aug 2022 15:30:14
Anybody any info on this new striker we looking at anygood ?♂️and r we still looking at Ramos aswell?
1.) 22 Aug 2022 16:09:54
Think Sasa could be one of two strikers coming in. Believe Ramos and Belotti is still on
2.) 22 Aug 2022 16:33:27
His goal record for Stuttgart is reasonable 23 in 57.
3.) 22 Aug 2022 17:26:34
I don't think that matters. Raul has a poor scoring record before us. Well. Not poor. But hardly amazing.
4.) 22 Aug 2022 21:22:00
Disgusted that Wolves are even talking about selling Neto to Arsenal, honestly think they have lost the plot to even consider this. Along with Neves he is top quality and they should be fighting to keep them. But I expect like Jota he will go for a quick profit. seems like one step forward and one back.
5.) 22 Aug 2022 21:43:54
They aren't Ray it's just the media conjuring up rubbish again.
6.) 22 Aug 2022 22:35:59
I wouldn't worry about Neto, the facts are we don't need to sell and he has 4 years minimum left on his contract. If he does end up being sold it should be for at least 50m if the MGW transfer fee is anything to go by and then we could potentially buy Ramos and Kalajdzic at a break even value. Then if we are in need of another face in January we would have the funds to do so. Just my view, we are in the process of adapting to an attacking style of play so new players needed and unfortunately old/young favourites may have to go for this to take shape.
Trying to look at a positive outcome if we loose Neto, I would rather him stay but upto him, if he wants to go let him go but at the right price. FWAW.
7.) 23 Aug 2022 07:20:31
According to the Sun Arsenal will bid up to £35M knowing Wolves would want £50 plus, probably £60 plus with add on's. So they aren't really trying to sign him are they.
8.) 23 Aug 2022 07:41:33
Read a report today that Neto wants to move as he has three big clubs after him and the time for a move is right!
To be honest, if true, I can't blame him, Chelsea, United and Arsenal means Champions league and the chance of big money too.
9.) 23 Aug 2022 08:10:44
He has just signed a five year contract so we hold all the cards.
10.) 23 Aug 2022 08:55:30
I'm sure a few weeks ago Neto stated he wanted to "achieve great things" with us.press have picked up on fact that as a kid he was an Arsenal fan. These Arsenal transfer roumours are exatly that.made up by journos who can't be bothered to do a proper job and investigate their claims. Stop listening to the b/s and trust the management team to do what's right for the club.
11.) 23 Aug 2022 09:18:50
Don't know which United you mean,Tim, but none of them are anywhere nearer the Champions League than us!
12.) 23 Aug 2022 10:31:24
Neto has recently responded, he's going nowhere, by choice. The story has been pushed by a freelance journalist and we all know how they get their money.
13.) 23 Aug 2022 10:47:56
Got to chuckle at your last sentence Bels.
"Trust the management team" Lol
14.) 23 Aug 2022 11:40:02
It was said slightly tongue in cheek ?
15.) 23 Aug 2022 12:41:03
???
16.) 23 Aug 2022 13:59:47
No he actually said he wants to play with US in the champions league.
"The dream of any player is to play in the Champions League. I want to help this club to go higher and higher because I think we have that potential with the way we work. "
Where does that say he wants to play with Arsenal or Chelsea?

No, we will let players leave and then say it was too late to bring new players in Fosun allover promise you then just take it away.
21 Aug 2026 22:18:51
Yet again Fosun offer so much and give nothing. They said 6 or 7 new signings to the team. They sell Gomes for peanuts — where has that money gone? Got no confidence in them at all and this squad will struggle in the Championship. Moan over. Wolves ay we.
1.) 22 Aug 2026 08:21:51
I think it's now more about which of our best players are staying. Keep them all and it's a decent squad.
We currently have 28 players listed + Mane as an under 21. (Wolves website).
Hoever, Sasa, Hwang, Traore certain to go, will leave 1 place available for the new keeper in our 25 man squad.
Any new signings need to be a like for like replacement for players leaving or an improvement on the likes of Toti, Munetsi, Chirewa, Gonzalez. The rest of the squad picks itself.
My opinion, open for debate. ???
14 Aug 2026 23:20:01
So open at the back when we lose the ball needs sorting quick. I know it's the first game but dosent look promising. Wheres these signings we was supposed to be making and Bentley in goal nooooooooo.
08 Aug 2026 17:52:59
Need to keep Krekji this season, class defender and we need him but Fosun will probably sell him as normal Wolves ay we.
1.) 08 Aug 2026 20:21:36
It worries me that him and Santi didn't play. I suspect they didn't want them cup tied before the window shuts. Let's hope not, because without them our defence will struggle even in the Champ. ?
2.) 08 Aug 2026 23:27:15
Mosquera has all the attributes to be a class defender, just needs an attitude adjustment. Commands the air so well, but Toti is poor. Need a new cb, if not Kreti or Bueno beside him. Otherwise, we will do well in the Championship.
Our midfield and forward players can beat most sides. I know a few don't like Munetsi, but he's great in this team, fits in well, not best on the ball, but allows others to flourish and keeps running.
3.) 08 Aug 2026 23:58:43
Bullysboy, Krejci came on in the 2nd half, so I doubt it's because the club don't want him cup-tied. I think he's going to move abroad. The last 3 clubs linked to him are Real Sociedad, Stuttgart and Besiktas.
4.) 09 Aug 2026 08:23:26
It's a bit of a guessing game, I know, but I'd have thought Santi would have been sub over Kreiji if there was such serious interest coming in. Goodwhile, maybe we know we won't get the financial deal we'd like, and maybe we know we need him.
Santi, Hwang, are they injured or unwanted? Surely Santi would have been considered, Hwang more likely not fitting the bill.
Then we're apparently trying to bring in CPs old centre back, so a lot of movement is still in the offing, maybe.
We as supporters, no matter our differences, seem to see and agree on the positions that need amendments. I'm sure the Club knows as well. It may be last minute stuff, but I can see a flurry of movement soon, surely.
5.) 09 Aug 2026 08:24:15
Lets hope the club realizes this as well.
6.) 09 Aug 2026 10:16:32
Having watched the Port Vale game, what was very obvious was the change in style of play. The team no longer looked to play backwards and try and break the opposition down in a laborious fashion. We were looking to attack quickly.
It wasn't the best performance, but it was better than what we've seen over recent seasons. But Toti made too many mistakes. 2 nearly cost us goals in the first half.
In the second half, he nearly fell over the ball twice.
Mosquera has the potential to be a real asset, but he needs a good, confident CB playing alongside him.
We all lambast Kilman as he's no good, which is true. He only looked decent when Craig Dawson played alongside him. We need this type of player. Who this is, I don't know, but Toti is too error-prone.
27 Jul 2026 07:54:36
Any news on the new away top coming out?
15 Aug 2022 11:39:51
Well said hasn't a clue
