Hi everyone, new poster here, though I've been lurking for ages!
Quite honestly I'd be happy for Wolves to be sold to a Todd Boehly type of owner at this point.
We need someone with an ego, who wants "his" team to be one of the best, and is prepared to invest substantial sums of money on an annual basis, into the team, manager, and overall structure including rebuilding the stadium.
I'm Wolverhampton born and bred, but live in the U.S. now, and there's plenty of the Boehly type over here, though I accept American owners are not overly popular.

Welcome to the site NoCrysis, love the handle albeit a little ironic, lol. You're quite right we need people who understand sports clubs if Fosun do decide to sell.
vbwolf that story probably came from the fact that Fosun is trying to sell everything with liquidity to raise money to service its debts. The sale of Wolves wouldn't even scratch the surface of those, but every little helps.

I'm not sure they truly get the idea of relegation in the US. It's not something found in the NFL, a franchise has to make money. We all know English football outside the top 6 just isn't like that so for me I'ld rather not go down that route unless we are facing an existential threat.

Totally agree he has done nothing but prove he is out of his depth and was easily led by Mendes to put us in the same financial mess he got the Chinese owner of Valencia into.
Guangchang this is a massive mistake you have made and it will affect the value of the club regardless of the fire sale to improve the balance sheet. A club devalues automatically he gets relegated

I think JL has said clean sheets are a priority this season. So a hunt for a striker is on but a good one is few and far between.

2 points here guys
1. Try and read the article in the Guardian about Garagarzas career. It's definitely a good insight to him and what he brings to the table.
2. Bloody Sellars. I want Shi to explain to me how a youth team coach can be part of this so called transfer committee and tell the First Team coach which players are acceptable to him! That comment he made when asked about transfers when he clearly stated only the players he liked would be bought and no others regardless of other opinions. That beggars belief. Just show him the door.

Hi Phil, may I say if you are a twerp then I most certainly am, along with most of Wolves fans. It's a love affair and it's passionate and quite frequently that makes our heart rule our heads, hence the posts we put forward are subjective and leave a lot to be desired. That's life if people don't like it, tough!
But I agree with most of the sentiments, especially supporting the coach and the team. I really hope we can give a good account of ourselves. That's all I ask right now.
Regards Shi, I will personally drive him to the airport and give him his one way ticket. He and he alone is the root cause of our predicament.

Just take a step back guys.
As soon as the season finished Shi headed to China till a few days before the start of the new season. So he never got involved with taking on GON. Now GON may or may not succeed here I can only prey he does, but with only TWO backroom staff he has his work cut out.
Regards JLo, SHi was not around to give him the truth about FFP because he knew he could handle JLo who was his own man and wouldn't tolerate interference from Shi or Mendes regarding team selection or player selection. BUt he was cut off at the knees in the close season with the panic sale to balance the books. Hobbs told him that Plan B was to acquire young talent, which he accpeted only to find Shi even blocked that. So he had a boss who avoided him and didn't tell him the truth. What would you have done? Oh and when negotiating he release he offered to take a cut in his compensation.
So this whole mess rests squarely on the shoulders of Shi.
Hobbs has tried to do what he can with the money from the sale on Nunes in the few days that were left

Guys, guys the actual penalty law states this was NOT a penalty - if it deflects on to a arm from another part of the body it is NOT, I repeat NOT a penalty.
So no matter what the numpties like Agbonwhatever say on Talk Sport its not a pen.
