Killman 40 million. Good business by Wolves.
1.) 04 Jul 2024 14:18:09
Nanda totally agree get some one just as good half the price.
2.) 04 Jul 2024 14:25:55
Good for West Ham, good for Kilman and very good for us!
3.) 04 Jul 2024 15:05:00
Especially good if we now keep Neto, I like Kilman but Netos worth double in points ?
4.) 04 Jul 2024 15:07:23
He has been a good club member but everyone moves on and 40M is a spectacular price. Let's hope that it is wisely spent.
5.) 04 Jul 2024 15:49:40
£40 Mill is enough for 2 very good replacemnts. Let's hope the money goes straight in to the transfer pot.
6.) 04 Jul 2024 17:21:37
Cheers max, thanks for everything. Best of luck with West Ham.
7.) 04 Jul 2024 17:34:35
Don’t forget that Maidenhead get a percentage of the transfer fee and doubt if West Ham have paid cash.
8.) 04 Jul 2024 18:30:49
Do you think mosquerta will start now?
9.) 04 Jul 2024 19:23:14
I'd have rather kept him and sold elsewhere but hey
10.) 04 Jul 2024 19:34:52
Maidenhead get 10%
11.) 04 Jul 2024 20:04:56
Ok as long as we do have a replacement lined up.
12.) 04 Jul 2024 20:06:13
Believe West Ham had to do it as cash only, no installments or deferred payments
13.) 04 Jul 2024 20:32:15
‘According to journalist Jack Ross West Ham are yet to agree a pay structure but are about to offer Kilman a six year deal.’
14.) 04 Jul 2024 21:38:03
We'd do very well to do what you suggest Wolf. Its not easy but I imagine that there are a few irons in the fire.By the way, I understand Maidenhead get 20% of the profit not the lower figures being suggested.
15.) 05 Jul 2024 16:52:00
yes good price can anyone see jeff shi giveing £40 million to oneil noway £20 million if lucky
16.) 05 Jul 2024 16:57:19
noway do I beleave jeff moxshi will let oneil have more then
£ 20 million bank the rest
17.) 05 Jul 2024 20:58:38
Always makes me laugh with this stuff, saying they won't spend it! They already have, we've already signed (potientially) £40m worth of signings, the money has to come from somewhere I'm afraid, if ya don't belive me just ask an Everton fan! ?
18.) 06 Jul 2024 11:55:10
What’s the odds on max being in the next England squad for the October internationals now he’s at a London club. It will show the fa bias if he does and what a joke of an outfit they are
19.) 06 Jul 2024 12:33:22
already I hear may need money back for FFP why sell if the lot does not go on new players
20.) 06 Jul 2024 12:34:54
we had £20 million left from man city deal pays for ones in you may love jeff shi I dont
21.) 06 Jul 2024 15:22:26
Try reading my posts and you'll see how I feel about Shi. Doesn't mean that changes the reality of FFP does it?! Point is so far this window three players have come in with one going out, so it's frankly childish to suggest the club aren't investing! ?
22.) 10 Jul 2024 14:19:38
after what shi said about our club hate the bugger

07 Sep 2026 18:53:52.
After the Blues game I have a couple of comments.
Jackson is awfully and to be honest should have been replaced in the summer.
If we play Andre then it has to be with another two in mid flield.
Don’t think Raul is match fit.
Fer Lopez is a baller.
The two CB looked decent however our left is an issue which could be resolved with a three man midfield.
Mane is a luxury.
Armstrong is a starter.
Just my thoughts.
1.) 07 Sep 2026 20:44:04
Other than Armstrong is a starter, I somewhat agree, but for me, Armstrong is poor.
2.) 07 Sep 2026 21:11:25
Armstrong does not justify his place. He is not strong, physical, hard working, and has little quality. He reminds me of Hwang. He never gave his all and was not good enough. Belgarde would be the one for me once fit, he has enough to be moulded into that role.
However, Tolu would have been ideal in the Championship, but wherever he plays he needs a strong, disciplined manager.
3.) 07 Sep 2026 21:53:08
I do think Armstrong is very hard working. He always seems to be making runs, but doesn't often get the ball. However, Ronevo, I agree with your other points and that miss was shocking.
4.) 08 Sep 2026 08:52:41
I gotta be honest. There's no way to excuse it. Armstrong's miss was terrible, but, and it's a but with exceptions, I prefer him to Mane as a team player.
In the first half I noticed Armstrong clearing away in defence. His running takes defenders away from Fer and Raul, and also his positive runs rarely get fed.
Mane, I find, is a little static off the ball, and slow in his decision making when he gets it.
Of course he can be electric taking on players and can score a spectacular goal, but that's where he's so frustrating, coz he'll shoot when he should pass, and try a pass when he should shoot.
He's young, he's got talent, and he worries teams, but he's got a lot to learn, one of them being 'meet the ball'. He relies too much on receipt and turning a player, and he won't get much joy with that in the Championship in terms of free kicks.
I think there are times for one or the other. At the moment it's an Armstrong start, Mane coming on to light us up.
29 Aug 2026 23:00:31
Very pleased with the result today.
Goals coming from throughout the team.
Fer Lopez is just a dream to watch.
The babies are enjoying themselves.
Still have a question mark about our left flank, Mane doesn’t track back which exposes the left back and Toti has to cover leaving a hole in the defence.
Not a criticism of any player but I’m sure CP will sort it out.
1.) 30 Aug 2026 13:26:16
Nando, I didn't see the game, and I'm just wondering about the comment on Mane. Is Mane not tracking back all the time, or is it maybe that after he has a long sprint forward or attack on the flank he is too far forward to help out? I would be curious, because those long runs up & down the pitch back-to-back can be brutal.
Obviously, if Hugo overlaps, it is more critical he gets back to help.
25 Aug 2026 21:49:10
Another win this evening and done without too much effort. Good run out for the fringe players. Every time I watch Fer Lopez I just smile, he is going to be some player.
One question for me is Mane a luxury we can afford.
Now I don’t mean money-wise but playing-wise. He was pretty much absent after coming on and didn’t do a great deal on Saturday. I’m not hammering the lad, just asking the question.
1.) 25 Aug 2026 23:01:11
Yeah, I increasingly find myself agreeing with others on here regarding Mane, in that I think it would actually do him good to be benched for a few games. The lad has talent, but he needs coaching. Currently, he doesn't look up or create nearly enough for a player of his ability. All too often he wants to take on the entire defence, followed by a shot from outside the box when he has many far better options. I think part of the problem here is that he came into the team at its lowest point and started every game after. I worry that, at such a young age, he's starting to believe his own hype, when the simple fact is he still has a whole lot to learn.
That was another good performance tonight, and after that debut, I think it's fair to say we won't be signing another CB until one of them leaves.
As such, it would be good to now see all efforts focused on bringing in two wingers/attacking players. Currently, we are having to rely on R Gomes and Mane far too much. This was proven tonight by the fact that they both got minutes when they should have been rested. We need options, so they better crack on, as time is ticking. Speaking of options, did anyone see Ballard's first goal for Bristol? Crazy finish for a lad of that age. As I said at the time, I think most teams missed a trick not going for a player of that talent at a measly £4m!
2.) 26 Aug 2026 00:27:30
Hey BB, I saw that Ballard goal. My son told me about it because he was a striker and liked to do those heel flicks too. However, that was a lucky goal, not a skill shot. But I give him credit for using whatever part of his body that he had to make contact and send "a prayer"! Sometimes a little luck is needed.
3.) 26 Aug 2026 00:38:10
I read an interview with Mane.
His goal was to win the Ballon d'Or!!
Dream on, kid, knuckle down and you might make a half decent footballer.
4.) 26 Aug 2026 02:34:16
My take on Mane.... The young man has clearly got talent, there is no doubt about that. The problem is, he came to light amongst a very poor team, at a time they were very much underperforming and underachieving.... thus making him seem a step above those surrounding him. I do believe that he has the potential to become a superstar... but, at the present moment in time, he is far from that. To anyone without a clouded mind on him, he is too young and, frankly, not yet good enough for the hype that has been bestowed upon him.
Yes, he genuinely does have the makings of a superstar.... He is capable of getting the ball and single-handedly being a game changer thanks to his abilities (maybe the potential to be like Cunha for us).... but, like I said, he is young. His moments last season, although at times world class, were - let's be honest - a pretty decent player seizing an opportunity that arose to him to make a difference and shine amongst those dimming the lights around him.
Do I think he has talent? Yes.
Do I think he could make a difference for us? Yes.
Do I think that a few great plays have made the pundits praise him and got to his head? Yes.
Do I think he has a lot to learn? Yes.
The fact there has been no solid approaches for him after all the hype sums it up for me. He has huge potential, but a lot to learn, the biggest of which being when to play in a teammate and when to go for goal. But if he was as good as he was made out last season, let's face it, knowing Fosun, he wouldn't still be here.
Either way, for all you doubters and nay-sayers, it seems like a pretty positive start to the season for me, in league and cup. And long may it continue! In Piexoto we trust! FWAW.
5.) 26 Aug 2026 09:23:53
Could not agree more with your sentiment, WolvesNutta, I think many supporters feel the same way. Mane needs to take a step back, assess his many talents and a one-to-one coach take him away from training for a session and review his recent performances on screen. By dissecting his performance and showing potential other options he could have taken, will only improve him.
This constant (could be viewed negative input) will eventually erode the lads confidence. He is a bright lad with a big future, but needs careful management. Is there anyone in the current coaching staff prepared to take on the role of mentor? This season is so important to Mateus and the team and a potentially glittering future - don't waste it!!

Nb - apologies NJ, I put it on the wrong thread, but please see my reply below. ?
16 Aug 2026 17:54:20.
Seen a number of ads for the Si Senor scarf for sale. Anyone selling one should be ashamed.
1.) 16 Aug 2026 18:33:59
Only one I'm trying to buy is one Manny is auctioning for dementia, as he has checked with Raul first, and I believe Raul has signed one to auction, too.
2.) 16 Aug 2026 19:38:59
Rated, do you know where the auction(s) are?
3.) 16 Aug 2026 22:12:30
Good call for dementia, Rated. I've been caring for my wife, who has it for two years now.
15 Aug 2026 13:40:08
At first I was disappointed with the players after last night with one notable exception Fer Lopez.
The after a time to reflect I would very much put that disappointment firmly on the manager.
From the start it was clear they were going past us on our left and the goals came from that side.
Yet he did nothing to improve this so this was a concern. Then towards the end of the game his scatter gun approach to substitutes was also a concern.
Got to give it time and hope we get in more players.
Need to address the CB situation, they are not good enough. Need a right wing and a goal keeper.
1.) 15 Aug 2026 20:10:05
We have to give Mowbray and Blackburn credit for their performance last night. Given the eleven we had on the pitch, they made a point of limiting the influence of Andre, who has probably been the standout in pre-season. We are very dependent on him to create our forward momentum.
Although Munetsi played better than he has done recently, he is not the engine room of the team, and we desperately need to get another one in to partner Andre. If not, then other teams will do exactly what Blackburn did so well and target Andre.

I don't like predicting scores lostcity but on this occasion I would tend to agree with you.

Well said mikebayleaf
If England win every game from now on by one nil and win the final by an own goal I don't care. History will never say how but but how many.
