Imagine your whole club's personality being blowing bubbles out of a bubble machine and singing a song about blowing bubbles.

Those bubbles are net negative on the environment and they should be banned. Along with fireworks.

In other news Im extrememly positive about the Sean Neave signing.

He looks like a relly good player. Very similar style to Raul Jimenez and actually a very smart transfer.

In addition, our performance last night was excellent. Tchatchoua was brilliant. Just wish he would drive into the box and shoot. He has that electric pace that gets everyone off thier seat, Hes the best defender Ive ever seen, just sometimes slows down and isnt sure what to do.

Just run and shoot lad.

With RAFIKI,JRB and Neave on the bench we will have enough depth.

I do wonder if CP should be starting Fer Lopez on the wing and having Rodrigo Gomes coming off the bench as or main impact sub. Slot James into midfield and we still have Bouba and Doyle on the bench.

Id even look at playing Krejci in CDM next to Andre as he plays better there IMO.

Next season we'll be Premier League with the following line up;
-VIRGINIA-
-TCHATCHOUA--BUENO--OLAGUNJU--BUENO-
-ANDRE--KREJCI-
-LOPEZ--JAMES--MANE-
-NEAVE-

Whatever you're on, I want some.

2.) 02 Sep 2026 15:45:20
Ordinary, have you been on the happy baccy with that team back in championship. Plus Neave only on loan no buy option Tatchoua not good enough plus most of the others. They got wolves relegated now there going to keep zwolves in the PL no chance.

3.) 02 Sep 2026 21:02:11
Something I noticed from last night's game, and it seems Bb touched on it in the thread below. Our set pieces are terrible. I can't remember how many corners we had, but it was a few, and it seemed every time West Ham got to the ball first.

Same with their corners, they seemed to beat us to every ball. This is something we really need to work on, and, again, a good reason Krejci or Santi should be playing. Both seem to score from corners every now and again.

CP is about to show everyone what hes all about.

Currently half time 2-1 down to West Ham.

We will win this game. Im calling it now.

CP is working magic.

4-1, ordinary. He'll need to be a miracle worker to do something now.
We've let this slip ridiculously.

2.) 01 Sep 2026 21:11:34
Not at 4-1 down, he won't. Our defence is shocking.

3.) 01 Sep 2026 21:12:41
I think a more accurate summary would be that our defence is showing what it's all about! Not nearly good enough, and this could get worse! How is Toti still starting and captain?! We have been second best the entire game so far.

First genuinely quality team we've played against, and reality is kicking in. Where are all those signings you promised, Nathan? Same Shi, different day. ?

4.) 01 Sep 2026 21:13:29
Ohhh 4-2, hubble bubble toil and trouble COYW.

5.) 01 Sep 2026 21:53:28
Well, dunno what went on. We lost all positioning, the creativity wasn't good enough, or we were too slow to move the ball.
Playing around at the back again instead of getting it moving.
Thought the ref was awful, and, dare I say, a bit more WH-minded. James' yellow card typifying that.
Two awful defences and goals all round to prove it.

6.) 01 Sep 2026 21:56:04
Don't think we were second best for the whole game by any stretch. We had our chances and didn't stay composed on the break, and that cost us in the first half. Defending was very poor, but West Ham were no better. Their chances went in, ours didn't.

Quite simple. That was the difference. One of those nights where we need to do the simple things better. Totti and Chachi need to be removed from the starting line-up for the next game. Both were poor.

7.) 01 Sep 2026 22:07:42
Three worst players on the pitch ; Andre, Fer, Raul! How is that the defences fault? FWAW

8.) 01 Sep 2026 22:45:54
I didn't think Fer was poor, I thought he did ok. Should have scored at the end, but we didn't get him on the ball enough further up the pitch. If u watch him, he always wants the ball and is striking up a good relationship with JJ.

The Jordan James signing is the one single tipping point that gets us promotion.

On top of the excellent job Nathan Shi has done in the early rebuild, bringing in Armstrong, Tripps, Jimenez. Jordan James is that one player that seals the deal. It's almost the perfect signing.

Sacking Rob Edwards was a masterstroke after he'd lost half the players... Cesar Piexoto has worked magic in reintegrating RE's old deadwood into a solid outfit.

Credit Jorge Mendes for that.

The equaliser today came from the high press that Cesar has been implementing since day 1.

One swallow does not a summer make.

2.) 30 Aug 2026 07:08:04
Wise words, Sammy. Not wishing to do us down, but we've won two, the 2 bottom teams of the division. We're going to be facing far stiffer tests than Preston and Stoke.

3.) 30 Aug 2026 08:10:03
But are they only bottom because they have lost against us?

4.) 30 Aug 2026 11:31:38
Hardly, Rince, as both have zero points. Excellent start, but our defensive frailties are an obvious concern.

5.) 30 Aug 2026 11:41:12
And how many times have we failed against teams at the bottom to our cost. Still think we need 3 players, though, that are first team quality: c half, winger, & another striker, cus it's a long season & injuries are inevitable. coyw.

6.) 30 Aug 2026 13:16:13
It is interesting how most posts changed from highly pessimistic before the season and after Blackburn. Now many seem to have swung their opinions to the complete opposite.

Sammy, Abbeywolf & Old Wulf understand. This is a long season and there will be ups & downs. Enjoy the wins, but don't lose faith when the inevitable loss happens. FWAW.

Writing this watching a Baggies game for the first time in forever.

Thatchoua is a better defender than Tripps, and probably the best defender in the championship.

Cesar is keeping it simple and he's genuinly my favourite manager since Nuno.

He just makes the right selections.

I think he will keep the same team except start Armstrong over Raul next game.

Just to reward Armstrong for the goal, and avoid any injury for Raul.

id happily see this back 4 play for the rest of the season and lets see how good they really are in the bigger games.

This young team has been built beautifully by CP. We could be in a position this time next season in the Prem with a fresh, young, exiting team.

Imagine if he could integrate TOLU back in as well.

The guy is a monster.

Remember when we won 6 games in a row under VP?
Toti and Munetsi started every single game.

I truly believe the squad is absolutely Stacked.

And I really really love what CP is doing with it.

I watched the game yesterday in full and it wasn't an easy win at all.

Armstrong popped up and deserves massive credit for that goal.

All we need to do is out score the other team this season and I think we can do that.

Mane at 18/19 is a high level baller. Perfect for him to spend a year making mistakes in the championship. Let him cook imo, I just think he should have chosen to play for England.

Lopez at 22 is another level fair play to the lad.

You were obviously enjoying a liquid lunch, ordinary.

2.) 23 Aug 2026 18:04:23
Old Wulf, he's been on more than a liquid lunch.

3.) 23 Aug 2026 18:10:00
Entirely liquid going off the Jackson claims! ? Decent post overall, however, Jackson is not in the same league as Trippier. He's very quick, and might develop into a decent Champ RB, but to date he has been very average defensively and is often caught out of position and not nearly tight enough with his marking.

He's learning, and might still develop, but it's a lot easier to look good against Preston than it is against a Prem club or any of the many top Champs League sides Trippier excelled against. ?

4.) 23 Aug 2026 18:12:16
Also Tolu, is that a wind up? The guy's an absolute weapon who had to be escorted by security from training! He's also entirely average. Again, it's easy to look good when playing in lesser leagues!
Save a pint for the rest of us, Ordinary mate. ??

5.) 23 Aug 2026 18:36:39
BullysBoy 11, I'd like to know where he built the young team. He's bought 2 players, 1 injured and 1 got ten minutes. The back 4 are great, that's why Wolves conceded 68 goals. Jackson dropped, Totti dropped. I need a headache tablet after reading that.

Now narrow that down to players who are good enough.

Can't start both strikers otherwise will have no options when we're losing at half time / need a goal late on

VP and nuno are 2 completely different styles.

I absolutely loved nuno's style.
Sit back, soak up the pressure and clinical counter attacks.

Not just clinical but also smart and simple one touch counter attacking football where the players know exactly where they need to be and what spaces to attack.

I absolutely loved it! And it was so difficult for teams to break us down.

And that's exactly what forest have today.

VP is totally different. It's win the ball back and then try and play possession and as good as it sounds it just doesn't work!

Because VP tried to turn us into possession based team and other managers have worked us out.

Let the back three have ball / our wingbacks push up.
Press the midfield and catch us with our pants down.

West Ham went to a back 4 today and kept a clean sheet.

VP should give it a go and if he doesn't I want him sacked personally.

This lies solely on VP for selecting Agba and toti and dropping Doc.

The fact that bueno has to dive and roll around and stay down to be awarded a clear penalty is disgusting.
