Sorry but we needed a cb so signing a player because he's a solid investment rather than because he plays thw position we need is ridiculous! What are Fosun trying to build here a squad that gets better year on year or players that just improve in value ready for the inevitable sale?! Cause I don't see other clubs that are trying to build and move up the table selling there best cb/club captain and replacing them with kids and players having to play out of position! In fairness I think the whole reason they began the process of replacing him was because he'd had his head turned by Saudi money. I suspect he doesn't want to sign for many teams that finished below WHU as he was being tracked by quite a few big clubs last season

I wouldn't be sad and I always rated Dendoncker when he was at the club. However, it has to be said that it's a pretty damning reflection on Fosun isn't it?! All these players, all these transfers/money and here we are back with Docs playing right back and Dendoncker in the middle! Is that growth or does it more realistically just represent a club in a perpetual holding pattern?!
This window is starting to feel like Morgans later years and as we all now know it was because he wanted to save his money and get rid of the club! I've often stuck up for Fosun but I have to be honest it's starting to feel like that familiar holding pattern again, not about improving just about surviving! Not exactly exciting is it! ?

Dendonker was stiff and slow to react when we had him. Great if you’ve accepted we’re going back to the Championship but I for one believe in better for our team. Problem is there’s not enough money available.

Got to admit guys that looked laboured. Forbs can’t play left wing, Doc has the pace of a snail and just looks lazy and no effort or ball control and as for Sa I don’t think I’ve ever seen a keeper so poor at stopping shots from distance. The ball is travelling from 20-30 yards you have more time to adjust and shuffel into the best position to save the shot and can see the flight of the ball yet he still misses it every time. Yes people will say it was a great strike but come on it happens every time with Sa OMG. Is know it’s only the start of the season I get that but we have got ourselves into a situation I think where the dressing room confidence must be low with losing so many times in the league counting from last season it’s as though we don’t know how to win anymore or how to finish teams off when we are in front. My 11 year old son has become a season ticket holder for the first time and I feel so sorry for him watching the team he loves lose every week.

Someone might have to leave due to our foreign player limit, however, it won't be Lemina. Might be Sa or Podence if a Saudi offer comes in.
Just listening to a vlog that focuses on South American football and they seem blown away by this signing, especially for the price that Wolves have paid compared to what Fluminese were talking to Liverpool for.
I think Andre wanted to come to us so maybe that's testament to our South American scouts or the fact that we already have several Brazilians and plenty of Portuguese speakers. Very smart bit of recruitment by all accounts.

Morning Longmynd. Seems like a potentially excellent signing. He is defined as having a playing style characterised by intensity, mobility and technical quality - his physical attributes giving him an enviable agility and a knack for carrying the ball from deep into the attacking third.
However, not sure that position is a priority. We could struggle with out at least one decent CB. Also we need cover for Larson's position.

Hi Rugeley, I know we have been after a Kilman replacement but Toti, Mosquera, Bueno, Dawson, the new kid (young I know) will have to sort it if Wolves can't find anyone suitable which is looking increasingly unlikely. I'm thinking even Lemina could help out if necessary now we have Andre.
As for cover for Larsen it looks like Guedes has got his head sorted now. Personally whatever early results might indicate I don't think relegation is something fans should worry about. GON has plenty of talent available to choose from.
