Twitter post a few mins ago saying Adams has agreed a move to Wolves. I for one would welcome him with open arms, he can find the back of the net, can't understand these people who cry out for a proven goalscorer then slate them and critise when we get one!
1.) 31 Aug 2023 21:00:43
Sorry criticise.?
2.) 31 Aug 2023 21:32:55
Totally agree WolvesNutta, if that's true, welcome Che would be my reaction. However, I thought Southampton wanted to tie him down to a new contract first, maybe they have or will.
This season may be more interesting than many have predicted and we may yet be glad that Nunes did a runner. It seems to have opened the floodgates a bit.
Time will tell, of course, but I'd rather have a team of players who actually want to be here.
16 Aug 2022 00:33:48
Talk all over twitter that Nunes is due medical tomorrow before singing a 5 year deal.what a signing this could be.suddenly this transfer window has become a lot more positive!
1.) 16 Aug 2022 06:53:56
Thank God for the Cavalry!
Guangchang and Mendes here to sort the Club out.
A real reassurance that Fosun are committed to Wolves.
Now please remove Shi and Sellars!
2.) 16 Aug 2022 08:00:08
It looks like the deal is done, however, I won't be getting too excited about it until the contract is signed. Madness that he turned down Liverpool and West Ham for us (I recently asked "what can Wolves offer him that west ham can't?")
Now for the elusive striker and I think we'll all be a little happier :)
3.) 16 Aug 2022 08:27:05
And breath .
4.) 16 Aug 2022 09:20:11
Every credit Fosun, well done. Just a striker now, then it's up to Bruno and the players.
5.) 16 Aug 2022 09:42:19
If true and the deal doesn't get hijacked another part of the jigsaw in place.

I was wondering if someone in the know could give a quick rundown of Wolves's debt, at last time of writing. A work colleague of mine has tried to say we have no debt, and I have spent ages trawling though the archives trying to find the post to prove him wrong!
1.) 04 Feb 2026 10:53:13
I'm sure Thefutureisoldgold will respond to that request WolvesNutta as he's posted plenty on that subject.
2.) 04 Feb 2026 12:47:59
We are in debt roughly to the tune of 250 million ish nutta, we owe 100 million on a loan fosun took out and I think around 130 million to fosun themselves, so technically they could write that off and then another 20 odd in other bits and bobs but that was on the last reporting year so could of changed, either way we are certainly not “debt free” as some posters seem to think
3.) 04 Feb 2026 13:28:51
Thank you Long, I wait with baited breath ?
4.) 04 Feb 2026 14:59:40
Thank you De Wolf
5.) 04 Feb 2026 15:19:05
De Wolf - plus another £70m net to other clubs on transfers yet to be paid for so circa £320m in total
From the accounts which as you say are from May 2024 so a bit out of date the club has £30m of cash bank debt as you say of £100m, net debt to clubs of £70m and net debt to Fosun of approx £180m.
Sadly many fans still have no idea how bad the situation is and this has allowed Jeff to "get away with it".

Thoroughly enjoyed watching today's game. The result obviously contributed to that, but I felt that regardless of the result, we looked like a completely different team. Quick passes, good movement, players that others and myself have previously criticised putting on a show.I always felt like RE needed some time to find out his better lineup, starters etc. I do feel like many on here were calling for his head far too early. VP had been with us for ages when he said he still didn't know what his best first 11 was! Yes, it took a while for RE to get off the mark, but who can realistically expect a manager to go into a new team and get it correct from day one?! Yes it's what they are paid for but at the end of the day they are only human.
We have tripled out points tally in the last 2 games, yes it may be too little too late, but I do feel like RE finally has the team playing like a pack again. I honestly feel like if they play with the same desire, hunger and drive as they did today, and against United, then maybe, just maybe, a miracle could happen.Even more likely so if this transfer window is a successful and sensible one, but given Fosuns history that remains to be seen! Surely now is the time to keep hold of the players who are performing, regardless of how much money we could sell them for, and improve on the squad with additions!?! Either way, I feel almost certain that the second half of this season will be very exciting. Great performance today Wolves, keep it up please!

The whole team played well. But there were one or two lapses in concentration which better teams would have punished.
Rob has clearly identified that we need to pass faster and further up the field. I have been Hwangs biggest critic and today, he proved that he could play rather than run around like a headless chicken. But, when Bellegarde and Rodrigo are available, he should be nowhere near the 1st team.
A few observations I made during the game were that in Central Defence, Santi, Yerson and Krejci did well. Add Agbadou to the mix and another CB, we look well stocked. Toti should now be surplus to requirements.
Andre showed that he is not as dynamic as Joao. If we had to sell one of them, the it should be Andre.
The team needs to be built around the core of Joao, Mane and Tolu. Tolu won everything in the air today and works well with Mane. If we can get good money for JSL, we need to sell and replace him with a faster striker who can stretch defences.
2.) 04 Jan 2026 09:22:15
Good - the Tolu case is an odd one isn't it.
Every time he plays - even only in cameos at the end of a game - he has looked good and his goal scoring record is fine - given how few minutes he has played.
So why has he played so little especially given how poor JSL has been?
3.) 04 Jan 2026 11:08:50
Possibly some just weren't up to speed fitness wise, or the manager hadn't seen enough in training to figure out where to play them effectively Arias started and played the full 90 yesterday as well. I suspect RE has had to go back to basics and use his initial games as almost pre season. Let's face it our pre season was crap with players sold and late signings. I doubt much team cohesion was built.
No cause for excitement, but yes performance has steadily improved and points now trebled in two games.
4.) 05 Jan 2026 06:45:24
Arddunby 1 - Not all players show their best in training but do so on the pitch but it seems coaches are reluctant to take that chance.
Tolu has been showing his willingness to get involved in the cameos and the news that he wasn't fit has been the excuse used but now he's showing what the side has been missing, something which Larsen is still not doing!
5.) 05 Jan 2026 13:20:26
OAP wulfunian, it's a tough call isn't it. I suppose it depends on the training session and it's objectives, in all walks of life some people come good in the real world, but if you've got a goalkeeper for example making basic mistakes day in day out, how many managers would select him?
18 Oct 2025 14:24:36
No Hwang!
Liking the look of the line up today, let's hope we can get a result!
I think 2-1 to us.

Just watching Soccer Aid.Carlos Tevez anyone? ??
1.) 16 Jun 2025 03:25:33
He shut up Paddy McGinness which was Tevezs bit for charity lol.

Why was santi wearing the old retro teal away goodyear shirt at his wedding? A sign of his remaining loyalty to us? An indication of a goodyear starting with his wife or displaying another love at the altar? Or a joke for the urguayans?Whatever the reason he showed us off, we must have had an effect. Congratulations Santi Beuno to you and your wife,
3.) 16 Jun 2025 17:36:58
Abbey-he's 26 years old and that shirt was 96-98, so I suspect it's a joke about the year he was born?! I still have that shirt and this makes me feel VERY old buddy! ??
4.) 17 Jun 2025 10:05:52
Thanks bully's I've got all the shirts, most bought in retrospect but I've a collection and more. I still wear them from time to time, the shirts don't half show up weight gain and wrinkles on the face, not to mention hair loss, but they all have memories to remind me.
Good for Santi.

Personally I can't see him going anywhere. Or his brother. He came here not knowing what to expect. He was welcomed with open arms. Soon became a fan favourite! We love him. And from what has been reported he loves us. He's clearly happy here and sees a future in Old Gold, at least for the foreseeable! Otherwise he would of warned his younger brother away from here. I do think one of our top players will leave this window. But I don't think he would even be in contention. At the very least he could have another season with us, settled, around family, to show his worth and attract the big money clubs. I respect and admire loyalty, but I could never criticise someone for making a decision that could make their life better - sometimes it just has to be done! But I do feel that his short lived partnership with Gomez has opened both their eyes (as they have mine!) into just what they could achieve in this top tier league of football. Imagine what GON could achieve next season with the opportunity to bring in exactly what he is looking for. The fact that the window hasn't even opened yet and apparently we have signed a talent that is recognised by 'giants' like Madrid in Gomes really does fill me with hope! Yes, the price hike was a rubbishter - I'm not a STH but I still feel that way - but my god, it is to me a rather alien feeling that we seem to have secured one hell of a player before the window opens, rather than wondering on deadline day if we will even sign anyone at all. I expect sales. And people we would rather not go. But I think if we can keep hold of the likes of Lemina, Cunha, Gomez, then we could afford to cash in on the likes of Neto, Sa, Kilman etc. We just need to have covering options lined up before we do so. With the situation the club was left in just over a year ago when Lopetegui walked, everyone wrote us off and had us in a relegation battle. I didn't completely write us off, but certainly didn't expect much myself.
I for one cannot wait to see what this window brings, and what GON has up his sleeves.
Bring on next season, FWAW

Larsen gone. Armstrong and Gomez deal sheets in to get them finalised mate
03 Jan 2026 23:13:11
They definitely have to back him! My worry is that after the last 3 performances and his praise on Match Of The Day tonight, they will try and cash in on Mane, as he is one hell of a player and will no doubt be wanted by many clubs, but in the present, he is exactly what we need, for me, the most exciting player I've seen at Wolves since Neves, including Cunha!
