Wolves looking at Alfie Devine. Wouldn't have thought in a million years that Wolves would be sniffing around him. Surely Tottenham would want him back?

For next season, if Rob sticks with that system, will Rob play Mane, Rodrigo Gomes and Armstrong behind Jimenez?

Apparently Jose Sa might be leaving! Didn't we know this when Jose was hurriedly waving goodbye to all the fans against Fulham? Hasn't he been trying to leave for the last two years?
Hopefully Wolves can get a few spondulicks for him. The club needs a younger, better keeper, who can play out from the back.

The good thing about Southampton having a 4 point deduction is we can't be bottom of the league for at least 2 weeks,
I'll be quite happy in the Championship, as it will only cost $15 a month in NZ as opposed to $40 for the prem on Sky.

I'm not convinced Bazunu is massively better than what we have, to be honest. Good? He's gone to Stoke with an £8m option to buy him, and they seem to be opting out of that option due to a combination of both his patchy injury record and form whilst on loan! If he was any good, then £8m should be an absolute steal for a young keeper.
The fact they aren't exercising that option would suggest that they don't think he's worth the outlay. And this comes after Southampton replaced him halfway through the season with Bayern's third-choice keeper.

I've got a work colleague who's a Stoke City season ticket holder. He says he's excellent, but just too injury prone. If he could overcome the little niggles, then he'd be worth a shout.

Makes sense, Good. I've never really watched him much, but I know he was rated at City as a youngster. Looking at his injury record, he's not had much luck, including a ruptured Achilles, which is brutal for such a young player! I'm sure he has ability, but not sure we have £8m to risk on an injury-prone Gk?. ?

Kieren Trippier signing for Wolves. Would be ideal at RB, and another player who can be the skipper. 20+ games completed this season. Will have a young RB behind him competing. Ideal scenario.
Wolves are clearly getting rid of some earners if they're planning on bringing in players such as Raul Jimenez and Trippier.

I think that's my issue as well, Long, what's the long term plan here? Cause currently Rob's two stints in the Prem both rank in the worst ten Prem manager performances!
The last manager that was at our club for 'years' took us back to Europe and still lost his job. Somehow, I can't quite see Rob having the same longevity!

As you say, a huge clear out is needed. Top to bottom. Rose-tinted lenses will say keep him, he's worth a chance. However, reality sets in, and you have to accept that so many of the players are stale and/or not good enough. I love Rodrigo Gomes, and he should do well in the Championship, but he's not a Premier League player. I think a few goals is clouding that. Maybe he's gone stale at Wolves and he'll thrive elsewhere. I don't rate Lima, but he's young.
None of the keepers are worth keeping. Even with Bentley, he's part of the old guard, and that needs breaking up. Toti Gomes has to go. He's never been good enough. Again, part of the old guard. The problem is he's on silly wages. Traore and Doyle have to do. Nowhere near good enough. Some players want to leave. Some need to leave.
It's not a case of who to get rid of. It's who is worth keeping. There aren't many.

I think with Abbey it was to show him that he is part of the club's future. Also, to show the fans the same thing.
There are too many players at the club who went stale a long time ago. Mosquera has to go.
The play-acting, histrionics, etc., is tiresome.
There has to be a big clear out at Wolves. 1st team, bench, loan players. So much crud. At times, the Wolves players were chasing shadows.

I'm having a go at Edwards more than Tolu. The substitution made no sense. Don't make a change for the sake of it. Possibly he did it because of the temperature. Tolu offers almost nothing, and one good game in ten is no reason to bring him on, especially when he's going to leave the club. If the change wasn't made because of the heat, then it was made purely for the sake of making a change.
Angel Gomes looked nonplussed at being subbed. Edwards also left Hwang on for the whole game. That must have been for commercial reasons, otherwise that makes no sense. There were some strange decisions in that game. Moller Wolfe played brilliantly and was taken off. If Rodrigo Gomes was tired, why didn't Rob switch him with Bueno? Wolfe can clearly play on either side.
Am I missing something?

Don't understand the Tolu substitution. One of the worst players I've seen in a Wolves shirt, and he's leaving at the end of the season. It could be argued that Re should be sacked for that decision alone.

Moller Wolfe is a superb player. Can see why Villa and Brighton have been sniffing about him. So glad he's barely played all season! Tolu is garbage. Hwang will thankfully be gone.
