Seen another rumour today that we are in the box seat for Vardy. Hope it came from a mobility scooter dealer.
1.) 09 May 2025 23:28:12
That one has been doing the rounds mate already been debunked.
Atm we're looking at Joaquin Panichelli for €20m and Tim Kleindienst no price quoted yet on that one.
2.) 10 May 2025 08:41:50
Doesn't 'Kleindienst' mean low or small service?

So now it's being suggested that WW are in preliminary talks with De Rossi to succeed Periera. This with 9 games of the season left to save our skins. Have Fosun gone nuts and don't believe in the merit of having some stability through to at least, survival.
1.) 01 Apr 2025 15:38:53
I thinks it's an April Fools joke.
2.) 01 Apr 2025 23:50:36
Keen has said the rumours are false.
3.) 06 Apr 2025 17:50:42
Blimey Mike, you've fallen for that April fool hook, line and sinker.

Let's face it WW don't have a plan and need a rebuild from top to bottom. Is this likely to happen with owners more interested in turning a buck than the well being of a historic football club?
We probably have some common ground here -Fosun you need to go. I had great optimism when you arrived as even I could see potential as the foremost Premier League club in China.
The world has changed and a new strategy is needed from new owners. Unfortunately this probably means a long term process of decline and regeneration. Jeff Shi needs to recognise that from a footballing point of view he has failed.contd
Contd.
From a financial point of view maybe he hasn't depending on the success of his asset stripping. However, relegation will come at a huge cost and now is the time to avoid /minimise this. A short term approach to stabilise, give the best chance of survival but with a longer term chance of recovery would be welcome with some imaginative recruitment.
I have my views which may not be shared but at least I have put forward a plan.
1.) 05 Nov 2025 20:43:56
I had also given my two cents to you Mike responding to your post below earlier today. For some reason it hasn't been posted and I can't be bothered to write it out again. As I said in that I would go for Brendan Rodgers, not because I think he's especially good but because I think he brings the most Prem experience and the best chance of getting this team playing.
I suspect it won't happen though as I suspect his wage and expectations are behind Fosuns capabilities.
02 Nov 2025 12:02:02
So now who is to succeed VP, I didn't get a lot (none) of suggestions when I asked for them yesterday.
1.) 02 Nov 2025 12:29:44
Fans have no say in that mikebayleaf, all we can do is hope Fosun now understand what some of us have been saying for several years and find someone who can identify his best team and the way they are best suited to play.
Oh, and stop dragging us down a notch every Summer, it won't in fact can't work. Just one other request please Fosun, find Jeff another job.
2.) 02 Nov 2025 12:31:58
Might as well be 1on us, no quality manager in his right mind would touch this time bomb, why would you want a relegation on your CV?
Time is up on the self sustainability model, we didn't have a Tony Bloom, we have a tin pot chairman and I'm sad to say the premier league dream is over.
If Fosun do sell (andif!) it won't be until the end or towards the end of FY. What a mess and we will probably take Derby's record of less than 11 points every team in this league will be licking their lips at playing a team that is so low on moral and lacking in talent, well fecking done Jeff Shi!

Lots of comments on here that VP should go and is not the man to take the club forward. But who is surely not Ten Hag or Rodgers. Contributions please.
1.) 01 Nov 2025 09:47:01
Well Fokes prediction for us today
2.) 01 Nov 2025 13:44:59
So no contributions, like me sorry I haven't a clue.
3.) 01 Nov 2025 15:26:55
Think Vp has lost it, the first name on the sheet should be J. Gomez and then Andre. Playing neither, bet Silva can't believe his luck. Just reported 1-0 down, apparently totally awful defending as usual. When will this torture end, lose this one and might as well wrap it up.
29 Aug 2025 08:01:19
Kobee Mainoo on loan anyone? Home grown, young, creative and the potential to make permanent.
26 Aug 2025 13:11:57
Can we please get rid of Silva, never wanted to come never performed and paid a king's ransome. Let's get it done and take the money and run.
1.) 26 Aug 2025 14:14:09
Looks like he's of to Dortmund mate fee close to being agreed.
2.) 26 Aug 2025 15:48:38
Of course he wanted to come, Mike, as would any 18 year old with an IQ above 10 after being offered all that money.
3.) 27 Aug 2025 03:08:59
He fancies a move to Italy - AC Milan now sniffing round. Dortmund not happy - Thry want closure or they are walking away

Don't forget Dean Saunders.
03 Nov 2025 14:26:48
No1 rule of recruitment was if a candidate has done it before then they can do it again. Remember the start of last season no wins in ten games. Yep Gary I, m sure you can do it again.
If this is true I, m finished.
01 Sep 2025 17:04:00
Surprise he has a brain.
13 Aug 2025 15:31:54
Madman by name Madman by nature!

With the money being offered anybody will play for anybody.

BullysBoyll it would be really interesting to hear your views on what /who might be the right man/ profile for your "miracle worker" role or are you happy to comment from the sidelines without a positive contribution in sight.
05 Nov 2025 07:46:28
Funny that BullyBoy I seem to remember a number of Managerial partnerships working rather well in the past adding up to European Cup and Champions League success (Forest and Utd just to mention the obscure ones). On the money side if you want more of the same be cheapskate, and as regards Coady neither you nor I know what's in his mind, so shut tf up.
04 Nov 2025 16:07:04
I'm on the Allardyce (yes I can spell it) mentoring Robbie Keane and recruiting Coady to the team. It's gaining momentum.
04 Nov 2025 12:53:03
Whoever becomes manager I think it will be a holding situation until the end of the season. I understand opposition to Allardice but at least he is a Wolves fan and vastly experienced. He may not play the football that the fans crave but survival is most important and failing that preparation for the future, so what about Allardice and Robbie Keane. Allardice goes at the end of the season and Keane becomes manager with Coady as assistant.
Coady can use the remainder of this season to prepare. At least we would have some passion for the club going forward. Whilst this plays out keep pressure on Fosun to sort themselves out or pass the baton on. The fans have a role in keeping the pressure on. Well it's a plan and I don't hear another one.
02 Nov 2025 16:10:49
No idea who, but what is obviously needed is a manager with a system that can produce stability. The team selection of VP was bizarre, much as I have sympathy with him, he has been badly let down and hung out to dry. Where was the summer recruitment planning and why did it end up as last minute.
Whoever was responsible for that needs to fess up and pack his bags_ Teti?
I fear planning should be for a return campaign next season but I hope a miracle can be produced. After last season's recovery a sad sad situation.
