Go on Jamzor Highlights on Facebook and watch the Man City fan page reactions to Wolves defeat. You’d never think they’d previously won 6 league games on the bounce and were Premier League/Champions League winners. Talk about privileged and spoit

One who engaged me over a comment I made on You Tube seemed to think that they lost due to injuries and suspensions and that we would never of beaten their 'first team'. I pointed out how many 'top players' and a Manager Wolves have lost recently. This meant that they were beaten by a side in the middle of a rebuild with a Manager who actually has less than 12 months experience.

He's not been back to me yet.?

One guy on Twitter said he hopes we go bust, I pointed out City are likely to go busting down to league 2 with all those charges against them. He blocked me lol.

Bit behind the times but I see Nunes had an assist against Forest last Saturday in his first full start. How many assists for us? Says it all really

Couldn't care less about that Judas.

2.) 28 Sep 2023 07:23:03
Doesn't really say anything. Fairly simple chip to Haaland.

3.) 28 Sep 2023 10:26:37
Cheers both ?

Just asking. Was VAR in operation for the MU v CP tie last night. If so, it shouldn’t be because once one team in any round can’t use/supply VAR then every fixture in that round should have VAR suspended

Don’t fret folks. In our first 4 games we have taken exactly the same points off these opponents as we did last season. Mirror that for 38 games and we’ll be safe come May ?

ATM

1.) 04 Sep 2023 07:05:15
Another team will have to replace the 6 points Southampton traditionally hand over then ATM.

2.) 04 Sep 2023 07:59:41
ATM That would be an average 1 point per game over 38 games 3 points less than last season and 4 points above the relegation spots that could be a bit to close for comfort and another extremely depressing season. I have had my season ticket for many years and was close to not renewing this year if we have a season like that again I definitely won't bother, the money could be better spent.

3.) 04 Sep 2023 08:08:18
ATM.need to beat Liverpool then next match?

4.) 04 Sep 2023 08:34:28
Good point Old Wulf (going with Luton) ?

5.) 04 Sep 2023 09:46:59
Get real wel be lucky to get 30points this ssn let alone 30 goals.need a hoal and brings on traore.and iv said all alobg silva will never be prem material.and he wont.they had a fwd who can actuually put the ball in the net.palace had more shots in this game than in any other since getting promoted.what does that tell you.just hoping theres3teams worse than us over the ssn.

More by accident than design, following Hwang’s injury, but I thought Beuno and Ait-Nouri looked good together down that left hand side in the second half.

ATM

1.) 27 Aug 2023 08:32:09
I've been impressed with the two of them together before ATM. The only down part is RAN's sometimes overdoing it and beating himself or loss of concentration. Beuno of course is still learning. Whereas not so direct as hwang I think their coupling on that side may produce more chances.

2.) 27 Aug 2023 10:32:09
thats the big worry with hwang he is a sicknote

3.) 27 Aug 2023 10:52:21
Agreed ATM I like to see AN playing a more attacking role.

So, landed yesterday to a pleasant surprise but after watching the highlights and MOTD I think we can see what life without Nunes would be like right now. Personally, I see him as pivotal to both our performances and our future in this division. To sell him right now for any amount would undermine our chances, imo.

Not an impressive performance but happy to see Sasa score, obviously, his height should prove to be a major advantage if they can get the crosses too him.

4.) 27 Aug 2023 13:21:27
You echo my views LMW we will never progress if we continually let so called bigger clubs cherry pick at will. We have not replaced Jotas contribution or Neves so just another loss if Nunes departs. The effort put in by the scouts in identifying young and exciting talent would seem to be wasted other than bolstering the coffers. Gomes will be the next target.

5.) 27 Aug 2023 14:22:01
Derry
My view is that the hierarchy are decoupling the.selves from the shackles and influences of Jorge Mendes.
If Nunes goes (and I think he will and probably should) then I'm not sure if we have many others in the JM camp - I'm sure others will point out who they are if any.
Personally I think the previous use of JM was a good move for Wolves but we became way to reliant upon him, his over priced recruits, and his exorbitant fees, all with a huge impact on FFP requirements for the club.

6.) 27 Aug 2023 15:01:07
I'm just wondering, was the performance at old Trafford the remaining guidance and tactics of JL and the last two games down to GON? Make no mistake but for Sa and bad finishing we could have had another hiding yesterday. I'm not being a party proper, Sa was immense yesterday and its what he's paid for, but the Rennes and Utd games were vibrant upbeat on the front foot. Brighton although we created was abit lackluster in conceding the 3 goals 2nd half and yesterday we were passing around the back and lacking routes forward. OK nunes wasn't there but I'm not convinced GON has the dynamic play that we need. Just a thought.

7.) 27 Aug 2023 15:13:21
Bueno isn't a bad player, but to have Nouri playing on left, he would need a solid defender behind him, when they both play together I think it leaves us slightly weak defensively, I'd prefer Jonny to slot in if fit, anyone else think the same?
It's going to be an interesting week ahead In the transfer market, and I'm sure there will be a few surprises, for me a CB and Striker to come in would be good, if Nunes goes we need a attacking ball carrying midfielder too.

8.) 27 Aug 2023 16:01:03
It makes one wonder if the pursuit of Scott was with the intention of cashing in on Nunes!

9.) 27 Aug 2023 16:46:44
Abbey, l think that the style of play and the intensity that was instilled by JL is slowly evaporating and being replaced by a largely incomprehensible style which seems to have the players confused and the approach more or less ineffective.
We were lucky yesterday and if we continue to play in that fashion we will drop down the league like a stone. So far l have seen nothing that JON has introduced that is a step forward from when he took over, in fact quite the reverse, there seems to be a poor team shape, lack of players understanding what each of their responsibilities are and too many running around like headless chickens. The mindset seems to be "don't lose" rather than "let's win this".

10.) 27 Aug 2023 17:48:12
Sadly I agree Derry we need to find a purpose quickly. Sydney wolf I agree regards the defensive frailties of both bueno/RAN but it's their attacking overlap and cuts that attract me. Jonny, as bigger an admirer I am, hasn't got the legs anymore. Beuno is also a proven goal scorer in the U21 from that type of positioning. GON is the boss tho.

11.) 27 Aug 2023 19:56:47
I said the exact same thing after the Brighton game Abbey. Cause agaisnt United we had tempo, we had pressing we had just about everything you need to succeed in the Prem. Saddly I haven't seen even a little of it since that game. And you are quite right let's not kid ourselves we were battered by Everton and if not for Sa could have given away another 4 goals and they are an awful team! Like I said after Brighton was the United game a little window into what we could have been?!
We really do look clueless right now I'm afraid, I am trying to give GON time but for that to work performances should be improving and I'm just not seeing that! Let's hope we turn a corner soon otherwise it's going to be a long and painful season ?

12.) 27 Aug 2023 21:29:35
GON needs time, he's barely in the club 2 weeks, the UTD game was first game of season, all the players were up for it, since them the dust has settled, all that has happened since is negative press regarding all the players who are leaving, this has to have an effect on the players, yesterday's game showed there is disharmony amongst one or 2 In team.
Yesterday wasn't an easy game, Everton didn't batter us as some seem to think, Sa and pickford both made 1 or 2 Important saves each, and the forwards form both teams missed a couple of great opportunities, we took the 3 points and move onto next week and then international break, where we will have only a few players away. Hopefully if Nunes goes we bring in 2 or 3 players before Friday

13.) 28 Aug 2023 01:57:36
According to transfermarket.com the following are clients of Gestifute:

Neto
Podence
Sa
Jordao
Doherty
Ait-Nouri
Nunes
Guedes
Semedo
Marques

14.) 28 Aug 2023 03:38:22
Syndeywolf Sa made 7 sreaves against everton out of 17 efforts, pickford 2 out of 11. Seven saves against Everton, if that's not abit of a battering from the bottom club yet to score then we'll need some patience in games to come.

15.) 28 Aug 2023 09:18:31
Not to mention 7 corners for Everton and none for us! Look at the stats Sydney and I'm afraid it looks like the same thing every Bournemouth fan for warned, smash and grab footy! It might help us survive but it won't make a season ticket much fun! ?

16.) 28 Aug 2023 12:38:47
I don't look at stats, I watch the game, the game was not as one sided as some say in my opinion, we had chances just not on target, we got Into good positions but for the final ball, that's the only difference as per shots saved. To get GON back when s he's been in job 2 weeks is pathetic, again just my opinion, I get the feeling that some on hear just want to moan about everything, we are going through a big change and need patience.
Time to keep give this forum a bit of a break.

17.) 28 Aug 2023 14:32:10
Can't see anyone getting on his back just being honest about the performance I've seen. And so far I've seen every single minute we've played, so I don't 'rely' on stats in this case they just happened to reflect the game, a game which we were insanely lucky to win! And yes GON hasn't been in the job long but answer me this Sydney, very simple question do you think our performances have got better or worst since the first game? Oh and FYI the stats give a lot away here but I know you refuse to look at those! Incidentally it's stats that Brighton use for their entire recruitment programme but they clealy don't know what they are doing eh?! ?
And (again) for the record most on here very much don't want to moan but it's hard not to when the clubs being run into the ground! Do you go to matches Sydney? Cause its a LOT easer not to care about the quality of the footy when it isn't taking up half of your wkend and wages to watch?!

{Ed001's Note - to be fair Brighton only use stats as a guide, like Brentford they moved away from using stats only for recruiting players. They use stats purely to identify players for the scouts to look at now.}

18.) 28 Aug 2023 19:35:50
Bully, yes I do go to the games thanks for asking, I couldn't care less what Brighton do, so don't be a smart arse. My opinion on game Saturday is obviously very different from yours.

19.) 28 Aug 2023 19:45:27
And for your record, I didn't say performances had got any better, it was more that patience is needed right now, all the changes are going to take time to settle.

20.) 28 Aug 2023 22:51:16
You started your post with the line 'I don't look at stats, I watch the game' and I am being a smart arse?! OK big man ?

21.) 28 Aug 2023 22:55:17
Ps- Ed I'm aware that Brighton use stats on a traffic light based system to (like you say) identify targets and organise their scouting from there. I suppose my point was that I kind of feel elite sport has gone past the point where we can still say 'stats don't matter'?! Of course they aren't everything but most people will use them as an indicator and in this instance the indicator was pretty spot on! Equally as they were when we played/battered United ?

22.) 29 Aug 2023 08:10:45
Think you need to read back your previous posts, I don't think I need to quote you, as its very clear you were being smart, I answered that I don't look at stats as I watch the games, your opinion is yours, as is mine, which we can clearly see are different. I would say as for.money spent going to games, I spend more than my fare share, I go to 10 to 15 games a season, majority away and it cost an fair bit between airfares, tickets and travel, so that's not really an issue.
No need for your big man coment fella, grow up

Manchester City yet to come in for 2nd bid. Maybe Pep (with plenty of time on his hands in his hospital bed) has heard that Nunes’s strike action began yesterday and will not now entertain a player with that attitude. I would be a brilliant snub to Nunes if that were the case so here’s hoping.

£111 Million thank you very much. Tell ‘em that’s what they were prepared to pay for the Brighton chap who caught the London bound train, so they have the money.
