The problem is Rated that for some reason when most peeps talk about a striker these days, what they really mean is 20 goals for the club! What no one seems to realise is that unless you are a top four club or very lucky (e.g. us with pre-injury Raul or Brentford with Toney) then those kind of strikers just don't exist! Jas is correct (as usual:) in this squad Adams would probs get 8-15 goals and just as importantly play a hand in 5-10 more goals! That's the way you HAVE to look at strikers in the bottom half of the Prem, if they can play a hand in 15-25 goals a season then they are good value! I said I wanted Iheanacho but Phil (previously:) talked me round to Che as a like for like alternative (and probs cheaper and younger). He also has the added benefit of being local, which means he won't want to be elsewhere unlike most of Mendes signings! We seem to be taking a more practical approach to recruitment. Hobbs and GON have taken us away from the 'best' (pantomime:) horse of Mendes stable and seem to be looking at the sqaud more holistically. Hobbs mentioned Bueno being left footed and that we now have a good balance of cbs (2xLf and 2x Rf). And for me Adams is similar, not prolific but brings attributes to the squad that are missing from the front line (speed, cutting in from the wing, poaching). If we are interested in Harrison I suspect it'll be the same, as in he'll replace attributes the midfield will now lack without Nunes (which I suspect is mostly ball carrying).
I suppose what I am saying (in a fairly round about way:) is that it's nice to FINALLY feel like our recruitment has some purpose again! C'mon Hobbs give us a transfer deadline day to remember! COYW??

Correct BB outside a Kane, Sterling or Salah 15 is a good haul for a top flight striker, 19 is an every other game goal scorer.
