A lot of negative comments here. or is it facts of football. wolves have messed up and to be quite honest getting bored of nunos repetitive comments and formation we need 3 up front! . should of signed 6 top quality players. worrying times that fosun need a investor to help achieve top 6.i would of thought the billions in the bank would help them achieve this goal. there an investment company let's not be fooled ie. (Benik ofobe) profit 2 million plus an embarrassment to a professionsl footballer . hope we stop in the premier league win the Europa to qualify for champions league spend 120m and finish in the top 6 next season.

All teams have poor runs during the course of a season - we just happen to be having ours now. Why? Who knows, IMO probably due to the Europa Cup distractions.

Next game let's have Boly, Bennett and Doc back - we will be fine so all stop panicking - please.

Hi new on here I like idea of bringing young players in . fosun are looking at the future.

18 Jan 2019 21:57:54
Now we're talking, get costa and pay him what he wants! We are happy to not be in a relegation battle now let's push for 7th. lad I work with is villa season ticket holder and he says Abraham misses a lot of sitters blessing in disguise let's move on and get a big name in to give the likes of the young someone to impress I.e d costa.

Coven wolf

1.) 18 Jan 2019 23:51:27
What would you pay him? He's currently on £160k a week at Atletico. How would those already at the club react to a player coming in and earning 3 times as much as them.

2.) 19 Jan 2019 09:36:13
Thats not going to happen.
There is one thing that Mini does really well, and that is his man-management skills.
He will not upset a unified squad with such a highly paid individual.
I have no idea what Patricio and Moutinho are on but they are our most experienced pair. I doubt they are three times more that Neves!

When we buy it will either be a solid lower division player with a future - Maddison type - or someone we have never heard of - Jimenez type.

3.) 20 Jan 2019 07:07:56
Leave it to nuno.

4.) 20 Jan 2019 07:53:03
Piatek is signing for Milan - 35m Euros
Maxi Gomez is now West Ham’s top target to replace Arnautovic
Two Wolves targets above moving to other clubs
Are Wolves no longer in the market for a striker?
Diego Costa on 6 month loan would be incredible! Who else is rumoured?

5.) 20 Jan 2019 22:05:42
I think we would be mad to start splashing over inflated January millions in this window now that the objective is complete, a couple of minor signings to get us over the line maybe, hold back on the cash and make the marquee signings in the next one with more cash available!

02 Jan 2019 22:04:29
We're a crystal palace with luck . would love to know the ambition this season at the moment were a mid table team who only perform against the big boys just like the experts say.

No signings in Jan then jas m were maxed out lol thanks for clarifying ffp rules mate . also cav and Costa loaned out with the obligation to buy meaning a sale .

Coven wolf

1.) 17 Sep 2019 23:43:04
Coven. are you trying to pick a fight?

If you have £2000 income a month, you have £24000 a year. If after paying mortgage, council tax, car tax, shopping etc costing £1500 a month, you have £500 per month/ £6000 a year. You wouldn't go out and buy a Bugatti Veyron costing £1m knowing that you've only got 3 years to pay it off would you?

That in a nutshell is how FFP works.

Actually, I'd love you to approach the club and run it. We'd be successful for a season then out of business the year after.

2.) 18 Sep 2019 07:59:49
That’s why the 20% sale to a Wealthy investor who then can use their wealth to bypass ffp and bring in class players. I think that’s how it works 🙏.

16 Sep 2019 18:20:07
Jas m can you clarify the ffp please I'm assuming you know the ins and outs of it. only every time anyone mentions spending money you start panicking. I've done a quick work out profit last season 127.5m. spent this season 80 m . profit from selling players cav Costa hause 30m that's an income of 157m so there's 25m in fosuns pockets for there investments that leaves around 50m. correct me if I'm wrong tho jas your the expert.

Coven wolf

1.) 16 Sep 2019 20:19:41
Loans aren't selling players coven.

2.) 16 Sep 2019 20:25:27
Coven, I'm not an expert like you keep suggesting. All I've done is gone on the UEFA site and read it. Basically, you can't spend more than you earn.

3.) 16 Sep 2019 20:37:01
So this is an idiots guide to FFP just for Coven.

Prize money, ticket sales, TV revenue, merchandise sales and player sales = incoming money.

So if that totals just for arguments sake £200m, that's how much we have to spend.

Over 3 seasons we can spend up to £39m over our income but that money must come from the owner of the clubs own fortune. If not, the club get fined like AC Milan this season.

We've just spent £80m on Jimenez, Dendoncker, Neto, Jordao and Cutrone.

Coven, please don't insist I'm being bug headed or know e everything about FFP, I just happen to have read the guide and understand it.

4.) 16 Sep 2019 21:35:17
I maybe a moron too, but I would imagine that other outgoings from the club like salaries for medical facilities/ personnel insurances security etc promotional signage etc all have to be weighed up against overall profit. Which pushes things a little more to the wire. The potential wages of 'big money' outlay must also be taken in to account. Buy a rolls Royce yes but then running it can bankrupt you.

5.) 17 Sep 2019 06:44:44
Jas can I ask a question what is bug headed? It’s in your last post .

6.) 17 Sep 2019 10:53:12
It's a mis-spelt word. Auto correct and me don't always get along.

7.) 17 Sep 2019 11:09:48
Coven, just for you.

Financial Fair Play

I told you it was out there. Now read, understand and stop having a go at me all the time.

8.) 17 Sep 2019 16:33:31
Thanks Jas you make all answers to questions so Simple and easy to understand.

9.) 17 Sep 2019 18:09:02
We can talk about FFP all we like. It has nothing to with that, Fosun don't have the money. Just been on the radio we are going to do a Birmingham City. Supporters need answers now to the direction the club are heading.

10.) 17 Sep 2019 19:25:44
What has been said on radio? I thought Fosun were in it for the long term, at least that's the impression I got from watching the Wolves in China documentary on Sky a few weeks ago.

11.) 18 Sep 2019 08:12:19
I believe Fosun are in it for the long term, that seems to be their Modus Operandi. A short term outfit would be selling now and making a tasty return. They are however an 'Investment' firm and will look to protect their capital input by getting much of their original outlay back quickly. Hence the sale of a 20% share in Wolves. Once that is done they will look to add more value here and in China, and that does require the team to be a top club. Revenues from China could be massive.

12.) 18 Sep 2019 08:34:40
Fosun don't have the money, get real only few weeks ago they invested in Thomas cook.

13.) 18 Sep 2019 10:40:02
Yes they have the money, but for other organisations.

15 Sep 2019 21:27:09
Although fosun have progressed wolves . the fact of the matter is there no sir Jack. there not here for the love of the club, they want profit i.e wanting new investors so they havnt got to dip into there pockets. they have the money in the bank to sign the players we needed to improve on last season but it was there choice not to do the obvious. that's why were relying on the acadamy. its costs nothing! nuno has properly been told to put up or shut up that's why the likes of Everton and Leicester will finish higher. just stating the facts not being negative . not willing to bury my head in the sand and only speak when the shxt hits the fan. I've said this all along. thought it was weird that shi came out and said were 2 years above schedule.? Are they pegging us back to fit in with fosun plan. defence should of Been built around boly . were 6 players short . hey ho up the wolves.

Coven wolf

1.) 15 Sep 2019 23:01:30
Coven, please please please look up how Financial Fair Play rules work. It doesn't matter how much money our owners have, they can only spend a % over the total income.

2.) 16 Sep 2019 00:12:28
@Jas M our neighbours seem to have spent £130m which doesn’t guarantee success anyway but no need to have a go at Coven. He can smell a rat like a few of us and just wants answers. Nuno seems resigned to the situation rather than his usual angry self after a defeat and a few things aren’t adding up at the moment.

3.) 16 Sep 2019 07:02:23
To be honest nuno didn't have much choice this weekend. Boly massive miss, where was/ is/ why Bennett not in squad? Coady effected by their absence and poor. Traore no defender and doc noto 100% yet. Midfield not getting normal service and pulled out. Add that Chelsea set out a different stall plus a fortuitous wonder goal and I think we can see the problem. Sure we're not sitting pretty in the prem just yet, and, it's an uphill season now, but we still have some of the best players around and a couple of results will get us back on track. Defeats will come for everyone one and surprises happen (norwich-city), so come on cheer up. Braga on for hiding and we'll all be up again. COYW. (What was the Bennett prob? )

4.) 16 Sep 2019 08:20:31
Happy Times, have at look at some of Covens previous posts. He thinks just because the owners have lots of money, they can spend it all on players and clearly he doesn't or simply refuses to understand FFP rules and guidelines.

5.) 16 Sep 2019 12:10:30
Coven is correct-he can see the problems which are obvious-lack of quality and Nuno's inability to have a good Plan B.

6.) 16 Sep 2019 17:49:32
Moan moan moan, we lose 2 games and everyone is seeing what nuno and Fosun can't. They know so much better. Yet look at wolves now, look how we were a few seasons ago. Did we ever dream of the players we have now? Of FA cup semi finals beating the mancs and scousers along the way. Of being in Europe, sellout crowds. Did we look forward to Millwall away? Or dream of both Manchesters both liverpools the prem London clubs. Wel wake up get it real we amongst it now to fosun and nuno's vision. Pre season tour to promote the wolves brand, that's not shortsightedNess. Nuno may have to find a plan b. May have to do it quick, I want to win trophies but don't want travelling trophy hunters. Perhaps nuno and Fosun share my thoughts and won't be ripped off.

14 Sep 2019 23:56:38
Next 2 league games need to be won.

I'll just be happy to stop up after this start to season. how to improve on last season? rely on the academy makes no sense.

Coven wolf

1.) 14 Sep 2019 18:00:56
Coady for England 😂 Dendoncker is a donkey 😂 absolute garbage! Nuno wanted a small squad? With a small squad you need quality? We haven’t improved the first 11? First time Nuno has been under pressure, let’s see if he can turn it around? Quality needed in jan as the Madrid centre half must of been their tea boy, def not a footballer.

2.) 14 Sep 2019 18:15:27
too much moaning about new players take a lookat coadys contribution as a captain he is awful as a sweeper even worse need to thing again in this position!

3.) 14 Sep 2019 18:54:58
Coady, Dendonker, Traore and Neves were woeful today they need dropping'Nuno's under the spot light now, that display was the same as the rest this season'second rate.
Europe has come way too early for the club'the squad lacks quality and numbers, money needs spending in the next window, we need a quality centre back and a different option in the centre to Moutinho, were getting over run in midfield and if he's getting over ran and hurried 'were stuffed.
Nuno needs to change his approach 'we've been Sussed.
If we are going to chase Kessie again, pay the money and get him in pronto, otherwise forget him and go for players that might be more interested in the project.

4.) 14 Sep 2019 19:38:32
Quality needed in Jan. We can't have turned into a bad team over the course of 1 pre season. Coady has looked shaky over the last 2 games so Boly was a massive miss today. Midfield needs a tough tackling midfielder a la Paul Ince/ N'Golo Kante to allow Neves space to spray the passes and Moutinho to dictate play. I thought Dendoncker was that player but he's just not been the same this season.

5.) 14 Sep 2019 20:32:09
Yes woeful but let's trust Nuno for now. Mourinho is waiting in the wings.

6.) 14 Sep 2019 21:19:28
Nuno will get this sorted. Braga are going to suffer on Thursday.

7.) 15 Sep 2019 13:33:16
Dendonker is a regular in the top rated International team, Moutinho and Neves are regulars in the Spanish squad, the fact our midfield are outplayed more often than not can only be down to the tactics employed.

8.) 15 Sep 2019 14:24:29
Just like the team. had a mare, always get Spain and Portugal mixed up.

moved house so changed my name but won't change being real . i'm not a fan of spotting what's wrong only when we're doing bad like others . were doing well now but have only signed loan players from last season ok it might work but it would be nice for mind sake of our fans to sign an out and out goal scorer not a player who didn't score past November . egos on here will surely disagree.

Me and anyone that has got the gist of how Wolverhampton wanderers now work loan then buy, not 25m for a player who has scored 2 in the league all season.
