Apologies to everyone if I've come across as being a know all and bullshy. I am very passionate about Wolves and perhaps try to get my point of view across a little strongly and dismiss others opinions at times. We are all managers on this site and have our own opinions of running Wolves.

Yesterday's game was poor and whoever is in charge for next season they need massive help from Fosun, the spine needs ripping out and replacing, I think the last two games have shown were a one man team and without Costa were very average. Anyway I'm sure the Futures Bright The Futures Fosun. 👍.

1.) 09 Apr 2017 11:49:48
Very accurate assessment PT good to see you back. From reading the interview with Shi they have already identified who they want and hope to conclude their business quickly.
Us armchair managers have to sit back and wait and hope.

2.) 09 Apr 2017 11:53:52
I think we're all are desperate for it to work Paul and all us fans want the same thing
And yes agree a lot of things are wrong down mol but it's only been a
season hopefully learnt from mistakes.

3.) 09 Apr 2017 11:55:38
We can excuse this season as a learning curve but no excuses next season. Play off a minimum.

4.) 09 Apr 2017 12:41:43
Paul tamworth nice to see you back and no apology is needed for being passionate o always read your posts don't always agree with them but I respect your opinion.

5.) 09 Apr 2017 12:46:39
We're all passionate mate i think many of us were just ribbing you.
Although i'll leave my management skills to football manager 17 on pc lol.

6.) 09 Apr 2017 13:21:30
Thank you.

7.) 09 Apr 2017 14:12:54
Paul I know your passionate mate, we all are. I think it's hard to get opinions across without some people taking them the wrong way. I really wish we could of done it this year, but we need some more costa's across the whole pitch, which got me thinking about bruma, maybe the reason why we want Bruma is to push Cav as a striker? Paul it's good to see you back. :)

8.) 09 Apr 2017 16:23:42
Paul, as all of the above say, we're all passionate about the club. Good to see you back.

9.) 09 Apr 2017 16:41:18
Thank you all and il try harder to be respectful of others opinions as we all support the same team.

10.) 09 Apr 2017 16:43:55
Welcome back mucka that's now 9pts from 27pts against the bottom 5 this season, this is a joke and clearly not good enough for us we need more consistency from our players there are far to many of them happy just to be part of the club and have no real ambition of getting promoted. Hopefully Lambert will clear these players out in the summer and bring in some players with premier league ambitions just because a player comes out of the academy or is a local lad doesn't mean there any good fed up of mediocre players, playing for our great club time for more quality please fosun. UTW.

11.) 09 Apr 2017 23:08:35
Yes the future's bright well brighter than last season even though most of the team is the same I want to see Bod knock a few in now because he is a strong player in this division yes we need a better CB but we have lots of CMs surely we can get two good ones from them.

12.) 09 Apr 2017 23:51:35
I would like to see coady given a run at centre half, played there for Liverpool in the youth and for sheff Utd. Got all the attributes to make it work, good in the air, knows how to defend and could be the ball playing centre half most teams crave. If not coady then saiss, played really well for mortician there at the ACN.

13.) 10 Apr 2017 10:22:52
We have a lot of sorting out to do after losing again to a bottom club, it's happening far to often know for we to be a promotion team, and it as to get sorted out quickly.

After another disappointing display against an average championship team like ourselves, there's no getting away from the fact that we need replacements, without Costa and Cavilaro playing we look a very ordinary side again like Kenny Jackette last days in charge teams, the whole team was awful Dicho still looks way off the mark, Edwards and Evans very ordinary in midfield, defence needs sorting out and goalkeeper other than that there's nothing else to moan about. After all that I have said we will most probably beat Brighton if he plays our strongest team.

14.) 11 Apr 2017 10:16:03
Welcome back PT. Agreed about the current spine. GK CM ST is the same as 4 years ago and we've declined. Yet most have been rewarded with new contracts! Ikeme, Edwards, Evans, Dicko. B4 anyone states Ikeme didn't play. I know but we need better to challenge him, eventually replace if we are to progress. 10-12 (mainly CM) out need 4-5 with premier experience or quality in as we don't have any who could do it week in week out in the premier. Even, IMO, Costa!

15.) 11 Apr 2017 17:08:08
Regardless of what many think, we were never going to achieve anywhere close to kenny jacketts position in the championship in the two previous seasons compared to this one. 1st we had a squad that had 3/ 4 years together under one manager. The club is going in a new direction for one we are using a formation that is more reminiscent of mick mcarthys premier league planng with deploying doyle upfront by himself, he has got the core of the team to finally understand it, so bringing new players in from abroad its a case of fitting with the team rather than everyone learning a new system. We have a core we just need 3/ 4 game changers not even necessarily starters. A strong minded cm even someone like fabien delph jack rodwell or will buckley (find the ones who never got chance to prove themselves) get a cb a leader someone who can teach hause and iorfa as weather we like it or not they are the future, we can be buying players then moving them on after 2/ 3 seasons. Iorfa has had a week season but I would of prefered keeping goldbourne and moving doherty to right and I think the leaks would of ceased. Its vital paul buys two central players mid and def. Wings are covered with excellent cover. (Ivan, helder, jordon g, micheal z. ) I mean bod needs two seasons min as does dicko 6 weeks of no pressure just learning how to play off each other and wingers. Then we just make a move for a patrick bamford or a abraham on loan for the bench someone who is wanting to prove themselves to there own clubs. As the passion our players have for wolves isn't strong enoughto take us to promotion. Look at seasons we have been promoted we've had players who would give there right arm for a point and the other for a win. Eg. Henry we can doubt players abilities this season but they were good enough the motivation and enthusiasm wasnt. Ever since the newcastle game and shelvey incident wolves lost it. Ever think our little minnows iorfa hause started seeing $$ signs.

16.) 11 Apr 2017 21:39:26
Forget players from this country, Talisca is the striker we are probably in talks with and Bruma is another Fosun want to bring on. Fosun are only interested in earthing other gems from Portugal now, like Costa.

17.) 11 Apr 2017 22:39:20
Really, so you wouldn't want Abraham or Bogle?

18.) 12 Apr 2017 10:44:56
They aren't interested in Abraham or Bogle, so why mention them? They want expensive young Portuguese players that will come in on loan with a view to signing permanently after 6 months.

19.) 12 Apr 2017 17:33:12
Wolves011, Abraham yes, Bogle no.

20.) 14 Apr 2017 11:14:25
Paul you can say what you want, it's only a rumours forum and anything is better than the bull rumours we get on here specially during close season.

26 Feb 2017 11:08:35
According to Twitter and other site Big Jeff has summoned players and management to Compton?

Paul Tamworth

1.) 26 Feb 2017 11:23:16
Good hope he tears into them and gives most their p45, rather see the youngsters play than most of the overpaid lazy rubbish in our so called first team.

2.) 26 Feb 2017 19:52:09
Looking at the starting eleven from last Friday, I would only want to keep Costa long term. The rest can all go and earn their livings in League one or Two. While we're on, Thelwell can join them as well.

3.) 27 Feb 2017 00:34:47
Ikeme has made 1 mistake and everyone has lost Faith in him, Doherty has been arguably one of the best full backs in the league, Batth and Stearman didn't do too bad nor did coady, the midfield wasn't great but wasn't terrible, weimann isn't a winger, Edwards slows everything down at CAM but you can't write him off because he's a good player same goes for bodvarsson up front, it would have been difficult to pick a better team then what we already have, only maybe Saiss, Hause or even Enobakhare to speed things up going forward but overall the team ain't too bad, 2 jammy goals was the difference.

4.) 27 Feb 2017 07:02:24
I agree on Ikeme. people forget for the last few years he has saved us countless points.
Can't agree on the rest. Only Costa worth keeping as 1st choice. Some could be OK as Squad Players at best.
Recruitment strategy over last few years has been a disgrace, with one or two exceptions.
Need a clear out at the top first, then sort the Squad.
Too many League 1 standard players. No debate, we are 21st!

5.) 27 Feb 2017 10:39:14
On the evidence of what we have been watching, with Lamberts team selections and him saying the players he as at is disposal are great, then why do we keep playing crap football, I am worried that we could get relegated, hope there are another 2 teams worser than we are because I think Rotherham are down.
Barring a few players the rest of the team look like division one players at best, over £25 million pounds wasted, Fosun need to sort this problem out now not wait till next year and get rid of all the persons or person concerned in this mess we are in and start from fresh, it seams to me we have Amateurs running our football club, and the playing at molineux and losing all the time with ex players scoring against us is a joke.

03 Nov 2016 13:42:49
S-y Bet reopened on our next manager?

Paul Tamworth

1.) 03 Nov 2016 13:45:54
Patrick Vierra 16/ 1?

2.) 03 Nov 2016 15:17:24
Roy Keane for me xx.

3.) 03 Nov 2016 15:47:15
Maybe it's Dwight Yorke. After him having his little moan about not getting the Villa job I would expect he would have at least applied for the Wolves job.

26 Oct 2016 08:39:07
The S-n reporting were after Incey? Not even in the bettin on S-y bet? But nor was Walter till just before he was confirmed.

Paul Tamworth

25 Oct 2016 12:47:18
Rumours on other sites sayin Walter been sacked? Willy Sagnol linked?

Paul Tamworth

1.) 25 Oct 2016 13:36:14
Not sure where Sagnol has come from. Doesn't make any sense to me.

Silva is Jeff's choice but just been approached by Inter. I guarantee conversations are happening behind the scene and if silva is game then Zenga will be gone asap.

I've heard talks are being concluded today so as zenga is with his family in Dubai he could have made his last trip to Wolverhampton.

2.) 25 Oct 2016 14:07:43
Been confirmed.

3.) 25 Oct 2016 14:49:57
Well, well, well. Some here predicted that Saturday would be the final straw.

The question is - does Fosun already have another manager lined up? I don't want another Deano or Connor debacle.

4.) 25 Oct 2016 15:15:16
ABV or Silva will be the incoming manager. Will be comifirmed by the weekend.

First game in charge - derby at home.

5.) 25 Oct 2016 15:42:24
I disagree think giggs or Tim sherwoood should get a chance zenga had no idea beat blues and that's all!

6.) 25 Oct 2016 16:19:17
Do I agree that AVB or Silvia are the right choice? Absolutely.

We need somebody to adopt the 433 with a high press and I'm sorry to say we re so far away from doing it it's a joke.
Individuals pressing without support, no clear understanding of when to press and when not to. Lack of movement in midfield. 1 ball to bodi is all we have and if he wins it then maybe Tex, cav or costa get on the ball. We then leave them to it and expect them to beat 2,3,or 4 men every time.

Truly shocking football at times and Zenga had to leave as it was getting worse. He was coaching spontaneous thoughts out of players and was seen arguing with bodi during the game at Leeds. It was poor.

AVB and Silva WILL look to play the football our chief's want. Sam, or Sherwood or giggs won't and won't be given a chance if it starts going wrong.

We need to accept the way our club is moving and stop going on about bringing in players or managers who don't fit in the vision and aim of Sir Jeff.

I see were linked with Oscar Garcia or Paulo Sousa as our next boss. 👍 Ex Brighton and Swansea gaffers. Change is comin! Well done Fosun Your fishin in the right pool 👍.

Paul Tamworth

1.) 19 Mar 2017 08:16:36
sousa was a poor choice here in swansea not many keen on his record,

2.) 19 Mar 2017 11:23:28
Neither fill me with any optimism.

3.) 19 Mar 2017 12:02:16
If Mr Lambert had just took 10 points from 4 games (3 away) managing another club you'd all want him at Wolves. Time to back off and let the man do the job.

4.) 19 Mar 2017 13:26:02
Yep let's get behind Lambert and the team, let's face it the results in this league are bonkers.

5.) 19 Mar 2017 18:36:13
Yep, let's all get behind the team and PL. he's got till the end of the season I suspect, then the cards will be dealt! Imagine your in a job and constantly reading about people who may replace you. We need some respect and leave all that until and if it happens, we all get frustrated from time to time. None of us would like to see all that crap going on would we, if we were in the same position?! So some space and backing for them is what they need. ⚽️👍😉.

18 Mar 2017 19:43:05
Good win lads and well done all including Lambo. Pity the season was over a couple of months ago though. But special thanks to Jorge Mendes for findin us our two best players Costa and Cavaleiro. Find us another 4 or 5 of their quality in the summer please.

Paul Tamworth

1.) 18 Mar 2017 22:56:08
Shutting up the moaners that is you Paul at Tamworth and others you know who you are.

2.) 19 Mar 2017 06:41:01
Victory v u haven't a clue! 3 wins on the bounce were needed to get us out the dire position we were in! A position we should never of been in! There is hell of a lot of work to be done at our club in the summer before we become a promotion contender! This has been a crap season and anyone who thinks otherwise have very low aspirations for our club.

3.) 19 Mar 2017 06:47:54
We all know it's been crap Paul but you keep stating the obvious
You also Slag the manager off one week praise him the next
Slag mendes off praise him the next ect.

4.) 19 Mar 2017 07:06:56
Footballs a result business, last 3 matches have gone our way. I still want a new manager I put Lambert in the same category as Jackett, and without change we won't achieve promotion. Mendes has got us our two best players, we need him to get more and a manager of the same quality if we want promotion. Trouble is a lot on here don't see the bigger picture.

5.) 19 Mar 2017 09:05:53
We have a squad of about 40, 38 of which were already here before Lambert. Lambert has now looked at these players and decided that some are good enough and some aren't but he wasn't able to bring in all the players he wanted in January as they were either unwilling to move or were overpriced. Weimann and Marshall have clearly improved the squad and have allowed Cavaleiro and Costa to play with more freedom. As a result, we as a team have improved. Defence is the main concern and I'm sure plans are afoot for this area to addressed as well as the midfield and lack of goals. Lambert can't do anything at the moment because he can't bring anyone in. Let's get behind him. It could be worse, we could have Zola.

6.) 19 Mar 2017 09:47:53
Well said jas.

7.) 19 Mar 2017 11:58:25
I was starting to turn on Lambert but look at his two signings Marshall and Weinmann both cracking signings i think.
I'm undecided at the moment if i want Lambert here next season i will wait until the end of the season and see how he does.

8.) 20 Mar 2017 11:46:41
Have to give credit were it's due, Weighman I thought was not very good but with game time which he is now getting and playing down centre looks the best striker we have, also Marshall is looking realy good with game time as well, so I will hold my hands up and say I was wrong about these two, with a preseason these pair could be good for us.

14 Mar 2017 10:59:17
I'm predictin, lose tonight Lambert will be sacked tomorrow. Edwards in charge for Fulham game then new man appointed durin international break. Just a guess but makes sense.

Paul Tamworth

1.) 14 Mar 2017 11:19:58
I hope your wrong Edwards is part of the problem. If we can survive, I think Lambert will be told to clear out a number of players and will be given the £25 mil from the sale of Costa to bring in better players. Come what may we must not sack Lambert unless we have a proven replacement waiting to take over.

2.) 14 Mar 2017 11:49:08
I only intended Edwards to be in charge for Fulham game then a new man brought in and his back room team as well so Edwards Daley Pat Mountain etc can be sacked as well. I do believe it will def be a foreign coach.

3.) 14 Mar 2017 11:59:11
Hope Costa stays, if your serious about promotion u need to keep your best players and build round them. FFP won't come into the reckoning when your owned by a conglomerate, they can just put another company name down as a sponsor, like Cirque de Soleil, Med Playa etc.

4.) 14 Mar 2017 17:13:40
Lose tonight, in trouble. That's the message and yes, we will be singing "doing the Lambert walk" and "getting sacked in the morning". It might be caretaker Edwards as Wolves slide into League Two - and Fosun will bring in new Chairman, new Chief Executive. The biggest shock? Return of the 'pie man' - yes, Jez Moxey rebuilding in League One - again! New manager? Yes, you've guessed it - Mr Kenny Jackett. To complete this 'back to the future' theme: Steve Morgan to buy club back from a disillusioned Fosun. Believe me - it's all going to happen fast!

13 Mar 2017 12:08:39
Derby and Wigan both sack their managers! Come on Big Jeff let's make it a hat trick 👍.

Paul Tamworth

1.) 13 Mar 2017 12:42:31
If he did sack Lambert who would you want to make the choice to replace him. Thelwell who most fans seem to now think is useless. Shi who doesn't have a great understanding of the Championship. Or is there someone else?

2.) 13 Mar 2017 13:02:12
I think the biggest problem is a commitee identifying and buying the players without any input from the manager/ head coach and then expecting them to be a success. It simply doesn't work. Look at the likes of Tommy Rowe, Jed Wallace and Nathan Byrne to name 3. The manager needs the freedom to identify the players that he wants.

3.) 13 Mar 2017 13:13:06
It really would depend on Lambert's influence on the team. If he is the problem and they are playing with fear, for example, his departure could enhance the players chances of playing better. If Lambert would be replaced by someone of the same mindset then there is no point. With Thelwell and Rob Edwards there we would be likely to see the same mindset.

4.) 13 Mar 2017 13:37:43
No point sacking the manager the players are the problem, they are not good enough. Why do people think that these players are not playing to there full ability and a new manager will suddenly turn them into a promotion chasing squad and on to a decent premier team. We need a clear out from top to bottom has none of our teams are good enough.

5.) 13 Mar 2017 14:18:26
We need more of Mendes input and less of Thellwells. I'm positive this time a top foreign coach will be brought in like Fosun wanted in the first place but he went to Spain.

6.) 13 Mar 2017 15:14:38
I have no problem with Thelwell being moved out but I have concerns about an agent being utilised as an advisor - this is a clear conflict of interest. There are plenty of football men who aren't so conflicted who could advise/ come in as a director of football who have vast knowledge of the English game who will only line their own pocket with a salary and not commission as well.

7.) 13 mar 2017 23:30:17
Wolves fans do you all agree, that for us to be an established side in the premier, which fosen want, we have to get rid of the backroom amateurs who are ruining our football club. they are clearly not good enough although they try their hardest.

Thelwell has to go, is recruitment of second rate players who i have to say are the worst i have seen for many a year are inexcusable, nobody in their right mind can say that performance saturday was a good football match and in my opinion should be refunded there money for watching it.

Lambert says it's the result that matters nothing else, i am glad we won i have to say but i would of liked him to tell the truth about the performance of the players, to be honest there's not one i would say get in a premiership team and that is laughable to think of the money we have spent.

Lambert needs Liverpool and Stoke performances to get we out this mess against 2 hard matches coming up Brentford and Fulham if he gets results against these then i will congratulate him and maybe start to believe in him.

12 Mar 2017 08:22:43
Just read one of the Nationals, one headline states, 'Lamb To The Slaughter' our new owners are lookin for a foreign coach with championship experience? No smoke without fire! Sleep easy Wolves fans Lamberts days are numbered! It's not if he's sacked its when 👍.

Paul Tamworth

1.) 12 Mar 2017 09:28:14
Paul which national paper was that in please?

2.) 12 Mar 2017 09:39:07
And which one might that be?

3.) 12 Mar 2017 10:28:35
Very few foreign coaches have been effective in the Championship. However, if Middlesbrough are getting itchy feet with Karanka, as has been reported recently, I would be very happy to see him down the Molineux.

4.) 12 Mar 2017 11:21:28
S-n on Sunday, linked with ex Watford boss and Fulham boss 👍 Il be happy with either.

5.) 12 Mar 2017 12:33:14
The Sun, as much as i want it to be true i wouldn't believe anything that paper prints.

6.) 12 Mar 2017 12:45:21
Prefer link with Silva. Good job Helda had a crap game with Chelsea and Arsenal scouts watching him. ⚽️😉👍.

7.) 12 Mar 2017 14:02:34
Thanks Paul.

8.) 12 Mar 2017 16:27:13
If it's ex Watford and current Fulham manager Jokanovic that would be alright as he's experienced promotion. Watford have had more managers since Taylor than Wolves so there are many out there. Not sure about Flores, he has a touch of Zenga about him moving clubs regularly for personal reasons.
Aidy Boothroyd also experienced promotion with Watford but he's not a foreigner.
As others have mentioned Silva and Karanka would be good shouts.
No experience in the Championship but I'm sure Mikel Arteta is going to make a good young manager one day. Speaks English, Spanish, French, Italian and Portuguese. Potential to sign big players as he's good mates with Xabi Alonso. and for the extra Fosun bonus point he's year of the dog!

9.) 12 Mar 2017 20:11:03
How about John Terry out of contract end of the season or better still Denis Bergkamp, , , , now I like the sound of DB more I think about it he is assistant at Ajax I think.

10.) 13 Mar 2017 11:00:33
Here's a name for a DOF Carlos Queiroz, he's a client of Mendez, I'm sure he would add more to the club than Thelwell.

Remember Fosun own us, big Jeff and Lambert work for them, as far as I'm aware no new contracts have been offered to any of the management? This season has been dire, who knows what Fosun will do at the end of the season? There could be a big clearout from top to bottom? Or big Jeff and Lambert may stay? So until we know who's stayin in charge, players comin in is just pure speculation.

Time for change now, and not just manager but Thellwell and the coaching staff! Fosun if your serious about getting Premier league football act now!
