Always good to see something like this from the pundits:

LAWRO'S PREDICTION
I have been impressed by Wolves whenever I have seen them, including their last game, which ended in a narrow defeat by Liverpool.

They have easily given Liverpool their toughest test in any of their league games this season, and I think they will have too much for United.

Prediction: 1-2

Come on lads.

Jez even Lawro is getting on the band wagon! As Morgan's little chum he used to have a habit of talking us down and never predicting a win, times are changing peeps! 👍.

OK so Jota tops player ratings again for Liverpool. You know, that team that won the Premier. He wasn't even a first team regular for us, with inconsistent performances. Nuno is a great manage but looks like it takes Klopp to get the best from Jota.

Or maybe Nuno and Fosun thought that a £30m profit was too good to turn down and that we already had a ready made replacement in Podence. We seem to have had a better start to this season without Jota than either of the last 2 seasons.

2.) 01 Nov 2020 08:46:41
Or maybe he knows he has to put in 100% in every time he plays because if he doesn’t he will just be keeping the Bench warm . He did us a good service and he has moved on and we made a good profit .

Hi all, I received my Wolves terrace t shirt in steel grey yesterday from the Wolves shop and it’s really nice. Also I ordered a Wolves shirt for my 6 year old grandson a while back but I wouldn’t fit him, I ordered a 7-8 and he’s average size for his age but they refused to exchange as I had his name and number 9 on the back. I say it would fit child 4-5 year old so if anyone wants it I’ll send it to you I don’t want nothing for it.

4.) 01 Nov 2020 11:16:12
Whole team or maybe Liverpools style is just a little more suited to the way he likes to play. I agree with Jas I think Fosun thought it was financially good for the club and Nuno figured he could cope. It looks like it could be a win win move for both parties but we need a season to judge. Just hope he doesn't score against us like most do!

5.) 01 Nov 2020 17:52:15
Or maybe he's just in form, when he was in form for us he was excellent! Sadly it was only usually for about a third of a season (and that's generous)! Now I agree that it's entirely possible that at a club like Pool and a manager like Klopp that he's upped his game. But much like our signings he will be judged over a full season, I'm genuinely interested to see if he can maintain it. He has the talent, the rest is up to him. I almost spat my pint out last night when Danny Murphy said the price was steep! 😡.

6.) 01 Nov 2020 18:28:09
Liverpool think they have a bargain and we gave them our best player but as someone said on Twitter we didn't give them our best player we gave them their best player lol

Hope he does well but like people have said he needs to keep it up all season.

7.) 02 Nov 2020 12:41:38
Jota was fantastic for us, when he was on form.! Which was only some of the time. Time will tell with Liverpool, but I wish him every success. His goals for us made us the team we are now and the even greater team we are shaping up to be. Nuno make Jota the player he is today.

8.) 02 Nov 2020 12:56:10
People who think Jota’s form dipped, Nuno kept him on the bench and then Liverpool decided to buy him are being just a little bit naive, quite the reverse I would imagine.

Am I right in thinking we don't want Arsenal to with the cup? Better that a team finishing above us does that for Euro spaces.

Not giving up on Champions League - it's unlikely but any of the three teams above us could slip up and Man City hopefully won't get back in.

We should get more points this season than last, which is mostly what I was hoping for at the start.

It's a longer shot, but we could yet win the Europa - we're second favourites after Man Utd!

Leicester are currently in bad form so you never know mate.

Hope everyone is feeling good again.

Saw a couple of articles about OG Solskjaer. They say he's doing a good job.

Is that the team on the same points as Wolves but with a wage bill about 10 times the size?

Come on Villa. Wolves could be 4th when we stuff Bournemouth on Weds.

Still hope the vile go down though.

2.) 21 Jun 2020 17:30:07
Neto scores thunderous volley, blimey how fast was it travelling Lineker Shearer and Wright apparently never saw it.

3.) 21 Jun 2020 17:40:59
Oh well nice thought though.

4.) 22 Jun 2020 07:10:46
The way villa fans was and that director complaining to the league when we won the championship still grinds on me as I used to always like the villa but now feel the opposite hope they get relegated for justice of the codswallop they flung our way.
FWAW.

5.) 22 Jun 2020 07:49:27
Noddyboy yes that was a top class goal the delivery and the volley.

I had a dream that were were taking penalties in the Euoropa final. So I started thinking.

Wolves 2 Sevilla 2 after extra time. Jota, Jiminez and Traore off the park. Who takes the penalties? Nuno may have brought on players with that in mind.

Neves, sure.
Moutinho, probably.
Saiss, probably.

Dendoncker?
Doc?
Neto?

Seriously SQ?

We have a 100% record in the league. We might even win it.

Just look at the league. We're above two "top six" teams and level with a third. Those goals yesterday would have been headline news if Rashford or Salah had scored them.

Nuno has put together a great team and deserves a big chuck of the credit for that. I am sure this is not lost on Fosun.

It's rare that we lose players to big clubs. Unless we're relegated, and those clubs are relegation scrap clubs anyway (Fletcher, Kightly. ) Keane and Lescott were two that came to mind and that's going back 20 years or so.

On the other hand, Leicester lost many of their top players: Kante, Mahrez, Drinkwater and more recently Maguire.

If Barcelona really do come in for Traore then that's a compliment. Jota to Man Utd doesn't feel right - Utd fans will want a big name signing from a top European club - and it's all they can think of writing about Wolves probably.

Let's hope we get a good run in the Premier and Europa, and players will stay because they will get top football.

Definitely a penalty. The strikers were claiming it without hesitating. Was it "in an unnatural position"? Yes, but only because he flinched, which was his choice. He could have stayed put and stopped the shot with his body.

That's an attacking lineup. 433. Neto in the Paul Scholes position behind Jiminez. Two wing backs. Maybe we'll see Joao and Donk playing a more defensive role. Would feel less anxious if Kilman was in a back 3, but let's get 'em lads.

That's five strikers (incl Traore) we have out there today.

On the bright side we're on the same points as Man City.

What to say? Nuno alluded to problems "inside the team". Anything to do with Podence? We at least usually rally and battle in the second half, not concede even more soft goals.

How can Saiss be brilliant one game and rubbish the next? Since when does Boly look so dodgy at the back the opposition take him on? I hope Nuno bangs some heads together. If we don't beat Fulham then I fear for our prospects this season.

Shows that our team lacks depth. Even resting half the team makes them look underwhelming. Oh well, we're doing well in the Premier.
