Well a much better and positive second half.
Some of the players have been coasting along lately hopefully the attitude will change.
I’m not impressed with Jose he looks out of his depth and as MaCoist said in commentary he seems a lazy centre forward.

I hear Shearer asking for consistency in VAR decisions wasn’t that the cry about officials before VAR?
I really am disappointed with how VAR has been implemented and I agree that the current interpretation of hand ball laws is spoiling the game. Defenders frightened to tackle and putting their arms behind their backs surely affects their balance.
Anyway I suppose we will accept the luck going our way today.

The decision was rough on Saints but it was the equivalent of the decision against Kilman at Leicester where an onfield decision was overturned. A strong reaction in the second half from the team was welcome but I still don’t understand why Ottasowie is being overlooked in having any role in the game.

Definitely a penalty. The strikers were claiming it without hesitating. Was it "in an unnatural position"? Yes, but only because he flinched, which was his choice. He could have stayed put and stopped the shot with his body.
