I stated on here several times that Nasser Djiga was a quality player and he was going to be a Rolls-Royce of a player. I was slated time and time again. People mentioning his spell at Rangers, etc.
Well, you're all being proven wrong. Nasser Djiga is absolute class.

Since he was at Gers all last year, I don't remember very many commenting on Djiga's quality. I also don't remember you mentioning him previously, or even any of your comments.
Welcome to the site!

I mentioned his quality tons of times. I've been using this site for about 6 months. Time and time again, fans on here stated that Djiga was rubbish and anyone who thinks otherwise should speak to Rangers fans.
Only needed to see Djiga play a couple of times to see the quality that was there. I watched him play before the Rangers move and when he was at Rangers. This pre season, the ability was even more obvious.
Mosquera currently has no chance of replacing him.
Now I can see why Mosquera was good in pre season at LCB - he had Djiga next to him. Wouldn't be surprised to see Toti drop and Mosquera take his place.
So composed, makes the game look easy. Only 23 years of age.
Going forward, early days, but Saheed Olagunju looks as though he'll be a top class defender.
Just watched the West Ham game, not wanting to jinx anything but they look like a side of quality individuals whereas Wolves look like a quality team.

Gotta be honest, Ongelbert, I can't remember your posts, or that much dissing of Djiga by others. I do recall him being sent off for Rangers, and a goal against them as a result of his mistake. The Rangers fans' comments weren't exactly full of faith in him, but I believe they were trying to keep him at the end.
I thought he looked comfortable today, and a pairing with someone other than Toti will make him even better.

I was one who stated Djiga wasn't good enough at Rangers; only an odd game, but fair enough, may be good enough for Championship. We will see when really tested. ??

Got to agree with others, hard to know or remember posts when people change their names. I've been reading this site for the last 4-5 years and have never seen the name Ongelbert Homperdink.
I have seen some criticism of Djiga, and only a few who rate him. What name did you post under previously? Feels like one or two on here change their name every week.

I saw several of Rangers' games last season, and he was generally mediocre, to be fair. He's had a good start to the season, but it's only three games in, and we all need to remember that it's a marathon, not a sprint. Some of those with shaky starts might improve, and vice versa. That's why it's important to have a deep squad.

Good work, RKO.
Surely the Ryan Giles story has to be nonsense? The guy has started both games for Hull. He's not going to play second fiddle to Hugo Bueno.

Not a bad deal to be honest. Wolves might only have been wanting a small fee for him, but no one has come knocking.
Sasa has had (I think) three very serious injuries. He's probably one more serious injury away from forced retirement.
I can't see LASK playing Sasa regularly. If they do and he has no more injuries and he scores goals, Wolves might eventually get some money for him.
Wolves have got him off the wage bill. Sadly these things happen in football.

If Krejci goes, I'll put money on a fully fit Mosquera taking the LCB slot, with Djiga playing to his right.
Peixoto played the pair together in pre season.

If West Ham are happy to pay £30 million for Krejci, Wolves should let him go. Wolves won't let him go cheap. Nuno obviously doesn't want Kilman at LCB.
It will leave Wolves weak on the left, so unless Mosquera is being earmarked for that position, a replacement will be needed.
Apparently Santi Bueno might be staying, but Wolves will then be too heavy on the right, unless Mosquera will be playing LCB.
Wolves still need a right winger and cover for Jimenez. Armstrong is better playing off Jimenez.
Surely a midfielder will be going. Wolves are stacked in that area, especially if a winger comes in and Mane plays more centrally.

Undoubtedly talented, but so brittle.

Alas, that is football. I can remember going to Wolves vs Blues as a young teenager, and Blues fans - fully grown men - wanting to have a scrap with my pal and me.
Within football, you'll always find fans who are essentially boozed-up and/or drugged-up Neanderthal thugs.
Thankfully, they are small in number, and almost always small all over.
I hope your wife is okay and not too shook up. Most footie fans are decent people who simply want to watch their team while connecting with other supporters.
