Adama is such a polarising character. Anyone would think that he spent the first half of the season recoving from an injury just to dissappear to a World Cup when we needed him most! I love Raúl but I think peeps are being abit unfair/biased in there judgement! We were fighting relegation and Raul was saving himself for a WC, yet Traore is the one who gets the abuse?! Despite Adama playing in all but 4 games for us all season, he also scored more goals than Raul last season, funny old world eh!

I would have liked Traore to stay but the fact that he never signed a very lucrative contract means that he's gone to a club who in all honesty will finish below us. Once upon a time he was linked to Barca, Spurs etc, 2 years later he's settled for mid table stability.
I wish him well but no point in dwelling on the past.

I actually agree Jas, what's done is done. But a) we definitely need an option as a replacement, wish we could have found the funds for Elanga (I've always rated him) and b) it would be nice if our fans could show a little class. Even if some didn't rate Adama he played a fair amount of matches for us, took part in winning some fairly crucial points (especially last season) so let's just live and let live (not aimed at you Jas obvs:). I actually think Jas he was just ready for a change in life, Fulham seem to have a similar momentum to us when we first came up, time will tell. Eitherway he moves on and so should we, no need for any abuse from where I'm sitting ?

I haven't been a great plaudit of Adama and see I'm justifiable to do so.
Has great potential, wish he could of achieved that regularly with his time with us but he didn't so we move on.
Will Fulham be the club that finally gets the huge potential he has out of him?
There's a higher chance of that renewing his best times with us with jiminez.
Maybe Adama needs this chance to prove he is worth that big contract and become a 10 to 20 goal season maker of which we were desperately needing from him season upon season with his time with us.

Yes. I watched the Spurs V Fulham match last night. Raul came on 2nd half but looked absolutely lost. Never got into the game at all and looked nothing like the player we had before his injury. Real shame, but I think your right his playing days are numbered.

Jimenez before his serious injury, was excellent for us.
Sadly, afterwards, just a shadow of his former self.
I was staggered he secured a new contract in the Premiership.
He should have retired from football and enjoy his young family.
There again, if someone is daft enough to still give you £5m a year,

I had totally forgotten that Raul now plays for Fulham, until he came on, as others have rightly said above, he is a shadow of his former self. I had a quick look at the lineup and noticed Traore w sent even on the bench, I googled “Adama Traore injury” and got nothing. I wonder what’s going on there?

I know this is Wolves board, but speaking of Spurs, why are all the pundits acting like Spurs are so great? They are winning games they should. They beat all 4 bottom teams. Their first 9 games has to be the easiest schedule of any PL team so far. They got lucky with the win over Liverpool due to poor ref decision and that is only win against a top 10 team I think.

Bumpy pitch, lethargic.Again too much passing around our own 18yrd box. Much better after the subs but 10mins didn't really give much time. Fortunate with pen award but great to see doc in there to get 'brought' down. I'll put it down to a friendly but I didn't see much method in the madness. Looking forward to Luton at home now and abit more awareness on a more suitable pitch.

A strange match to analyse, Celtic too often carved us apart on the counter catching our defence flat footed and we were lucky to only concede one goal. With all the skill that Nunes posseses he disappears from proceedings too often for my liking, he should be the teams pivot. Lemina bossed the midfield for the majority of the match and was unfortunate to be responsible for the Celtic goal. Fabio looking really sharp when he came on, showing he is a threat with very intelligent play, he needs more game time alongside Cunha.
Only a friendly and we didn't lose but more development will be required before the season starts.

Not really sure what JL has been trying to discover with these preseason games, Silva and Sasa have had little chance to show anything, why no Gomes or Traore, for me those 4 would be in the starting XI. Cunha had a decent game, lots of effort, but he lacks pace and so at this level will always struggle to get away from defenders. Lemina was poor as was Nunes, the defence must have taken sleeping pills before kick off because it was far too easy to get in behind them.
I think this squad, if they play to their potential, is capable of being top half of the table, but not seeing them playing to their potential yet.

Silva performed better today than on Tues but I still don't rate him as a striker for the prem. Cunha has a lot more to give in all round play. Think doc and hwang changed the dynamics finding space. Granted it was a neat flick from fabio for doc to run onto.
