Release clauses are a legal requirement for all contracts in Spain. It doesn't mean that there's no possibility for negotiation, even though it's unlikely.

Helder Costa had a massive release clause I think, which didn't mean much in the end. We brought him in on loan, with an option to purchase at a mutually agreed figure. This meant that only we could buy him in January.

Aboubaker has a massive tie to Mendes the clubs he's played for and the fact that his agent is kept a secret adds to the mystery. In all honesty it might be his dad that is the face of him as his agent but his dad is also the agent of other youngsters from Africa thus enlarging the spectrum of Mendes connections. Just a thought. 🤗

Nelsons scoring rate is about 1 goal in 3 games. In comparison, prior to joining Wolves Jon Dadi was never better than 1:7 - he was never going to be prolific.
Nelson could do well with the Portuguese support at Wolves. Could indeed be a master stroke. He has the potential to be a 20+ striker.

Classic story of young potential never given a chance to settle with constant loans to different clubs and countries. With Portuguese coaching staff and high quality players around him he will never get a better chance to make his name. If it goes through this is his chance to establish himself in the top level. Diony looks like another Don Goodman, with a similar disappointing strike ratio of 1 in 4. I still think Dicko is the best answer, given a new midfield to supply him. I like the look of Abeid, tho. Would be exactly what we need in the middle.
