Fosun have lost interest i'm affraid, who would let a team have the strikers available that we have.
Nuno is going the same way as mad Mick!
He lost at home to West Brom in January and what happened next?

Smarter

1.) 13 Jan 2021 12:38:24
I'm afraid you maybe right.

2.) 13 Jan 2021 12:52:33
Or they're just abiding by FFP rules after recently being fined?

3.) 13 Jan 2021 13:56:40
Rated - brill!
Still doesn't excuse last summer but probably does explain this Jan - hence my fear that one of Podence or Neto ( both play left side whilst Traore - the other diamond in our crown - plays right) will be sold to pay for Silva's upgrade and the other problems we have.

4.) 13 Jan 2021 14:10:24
Guess the risk is let's say they spend £25m+ on a striker or say offer someone like Costa a short term contract on insane wages and then the season is delayed or cancelled due to C.V. it would be a terrible move money wise and fosun don't do that. That said it doesn't make up for terrible recruitment over the last 2 seasons. Most our squad have been here since the championship. I get giving the youth a chance but its getting to the point now where this could be doing more harm then good for the likes of Silva, the lad just isn't ready. i'd love to know what our recruitment team actually does as it seems they lose out on main targets then hope Mendes can bail them out with one of his clients. If no one comes in I think we're in big trouble. Definitely don't want to see Nuno go though.

5.) 13 Jan 2021 16:10:54
I guess that Maths wasn't your hottest subject at school,03.

6.) 13 Jan 2021 16:16:10
6 out of 32 from Championship times.

7.) 13 Jan 2021 17:13:34
Did fine thanks. Was more trying to make the point were being punished for the lack of squad depth. Of course our injuries certainly don't help but still think we desperately need to strengthen. Luckily Saiss has worked out as a CB and at times LB same with Dendonker but in my personal opinion we've been crying out for another CB and experienced striker for a long time now.

8.) 14 Jan 2021 09:38:28
Maybe fosun don't want to give Nuno funds, because he and his staff are moving on, and are saving funds for new regime, hope not, but
What are fans expected to think, when we are in a rut, puzzling times my friends.

9.) 14 Jan 2021 12:03:20
Actually a short suspension of tbe season may help us to get our injury list a bit fitter, but I am worried about the next game. If we don't get 3 pointd from Albion things will look very bleak!

10.) 14 Jan 2021 18:14:23
I would say Fosun are a bit disappointed, with the money spent and results.
you can't blame it all on the loss of Jimenez, yes he would have probably helped win a couple of matches, but he wouldn't have stopped us conceding last or first minute goals.
The lack of goals and midfield has been a problem for months we should have purchased a quality midfielder in August/ Sept.

02 Jan 2021 21:20:59
Nuno has become the new Wenger, too stubborn for his own good.
I don’t blame him for the injuries but I do blame him for the small squad.
To leave a squad so short of strikers is criminal.
I’d give him the next two games to sort it or he can go.

Smarter

1.) 02 Jan 2021 21:35:57
Very generous of you - he’s certainly having a dodgy spell but deserves a bit more loyalty, and the chance to put things right with a new striker and some senior players getting back on the pitch.

2.) 02 Jan 2021 21:58:57
Just needs the balance of a bit more experience and grit. Its not the end of the season by a long way.

3.) 03 Jan 2021 12:44:56
I know it's been a terrible run but got to remember we're missing Jimenez, Boly, Dendonker, Marcal, Jonny and now Podence. We're more a less playing our u23s atm. Get a few of these lot back and 1-2 signings we'll be fine. The kids we have are very promising just missing that experience but it'll come.

4.) 03 Jan 2021 13:34:47
Some need to remember where we have come from in the last three years, every team goes through a bad spell, this is our first we have had in those three fantastic years. Instead of suggesting Nuno is replaced get behind the team we love. Things will improve.

5.) 03 Jan 2021 15:09:41
We're going through a sticky patch. Missing a striker is having a huge impact on that. If Raul was playing against Utd. I do not doubt we would've easily scored a goal or two. As pointed out above, other injuries are hampering things too.
The younger players that got a chance took it very well I felt.

Reinforcements are a must this month with a striker at the very, very least.

6.) 03 Jan 2021 15:35:23
Agree with all except smarter.

7.) 03 Jan 2021 17:01:23
We are all concerned about the current run.
However to put things realistically we probably need another 16 points to avoid the dreaded.
Win 4
Draw 4
Lose 13
Not likely is it?

8.) 03 Jan 2021 17:48:57
Even with them all back we still wasnt playing well, need more players to push on, let's face facts at the moment we have gone backwards, don't know which Wolves team will turn up and Fosun will want to see some improvement with money they spent,

9.) 03 Jan 2021 19:07:10
Big wolf I think you need to look at the bigger picture. Nuno realised the last cycle of players playing the old way was as far as it could go.

Game against Seville taught us that.

Many new players. New four at the back system. More possession based game. It's the new cycle and it was never going to be overnight.

Realistically this season was probably about bedding things in slowly. Staying in the league mid table ish.

Plus look at the injuries! I get the frustration. Just not the logic.

I bet a lot next season is a different story.

10.) 03 Jan 2021 19:37:10
Apart from. the odd stage selection Nuno has done a decent enough job with what he has in front of him.
We need to go to to the basics of football, jeep hold of it and play the simple ball more, he cons ta not overunning of the ball and the cheap overturned possession with rubbish passing is one of our big problems, we need to pass and move more, were too stagnant at times, and are just happy to sit back and invite pressure, Wolves have the players to keep possession, I just feel one or 2 are getting lazy at the moment, whe we have our quota back from injury we will be fine.

11.) 03 Jan 2021 22:07:53
His percentage of games won as a Wolves manager is as good as anybody's. I can't be bothered to check the figures but possibly even the best actually, including Cullis.

12.) 03 Jan 2021 23:35:13
I told you lot in the summer and you thought I was talking rubbish.
You were forced to let go of some real quality players and replace them with average ones, this has upset the whole dynamic of your squad, you are no longer as effective as you once were. Your owners are reluctant to further invest which happened to Villa, Blues and the baggies, all with owners from a certain part of the world.

Nuno out is now starting to ring around Wolverhampton but it isn't the answer, if your owners won't give substantial backing your fate is sealed, and your slow painful decline will continue, believe me or not I don't really care, but they won't be coughing up the massive amounts needed to keep ahead of the competition they will feed you with enough to keep fans on board hoping for a lucky signing.

Your climb to the top was long awaited and short lived but you got to laugh at Villa for a couple of seasons but sadly for you boys it's back to sleep for another 40 years or so. UTV

Oh, and Mind the gap boys.

13.) 04 Jan 2021 07:38:43
Villa only stayed up because the Ref forgot to turn his watch on 😂. As soon as Grealish leaves you'll be back down 😉.

14.) 04 Jan 2021 07:48:20
A Villa fan I find it throughly amusing that you can have such an opinion from way up there in your ivory tower.

Let's be honest your predicament could be far more precarious than ours in the coming seasons.   Without securing european football
Which is a still massive feat for you. one you haven't secured in near those '40' years you talk about haha! What happens next

You loose Grealish the twinkle toed, bambi ballerina catalyst to everything you do it will be the beginning of the end for you Top table wise. He will be at Man United or City next year. Who else follows. for bigger dreams. You've had a very decent season, I'll give you that. But so did Sheffield United. You're just as much of a YoYo team as anyone else.   We have built slowly with good solid investment in both the present and future.

Jiminez on the field against you lot you wouldn't have stood a chance! Even Villa fans I know agree much the same
Please do come back in about 12 months time we can talk then.

15.) 04 Jan 2021 07:58:10
We are not missing Podence. He was left off the team so they can sell him to pay for the temporary striker, if need be.

16.) 04 Jan 2021 12:44:58
Avillafan if it wasn't through Hawkeye messing up you'd be in the Championship, also don't be surprised if you lot get docked points and a fine for breaching FFP rules.

Nuno out.
This season has been a disaster!
It’s his fault we have a small squad and now Jonny is out again.
Get a manager in who can manage in the premier league.
We will be lucky to get another point this season.

Smarter

1.) 07 Apr 2021 10:52:07
Can I just make a VERY simple request going forwards? Instead of people just putting Nuno out can they maybe try to be more constructive! It's all too easy just to say change this, change that without any thought of consequences. Therefore my request is very simple if your going to put the phrase 'Nuno out' in a post on here then please be kind enough to ALSO enlighten us on who you want in?! Anyone can just shout change as loud as they can, it takes some actual vision to say how you want us to change? I'm all ears Smarter?

2.) 07 Apr 2021 09:37:19
Is this the same nuno who with a small squad won the championship got us to fa cup semi final, got us to euro quarter final and only missed out on euro again on goal difference beating the so called top 6 consistently along the way, no he obviously can't manage in the prem can he? Your talking without thinking smarter. If you are indeed a wolves fan you'll know the injury problems we've had and that prior to jiminez we were 6th. OK he's tinkered and tried and his solutions havnt been found yet but to do what he's done- with a small squad- as been incredible. Imagine having resources like others. But we have been a pack, and that pack ethic runs in a small squad. You're a fair weather pessimist of a wolf if your expecting us to lose the remaining games, not so smarter.

3.) 07 Apr 2021 09:42:23
Go on then Smarter, tell us who should replace him and who he should buy, what is wrong at the club and how these could be overcome, where the money comes from and how we abide by FFP.

4.) 07 Apr 2021 09:52:08
Theyll be no room for sentiment come the end of the season. Fosun would have already had representatives meeting with a new manager in mind since before Christmas. Just like with Jackett, Lambert and Zenga. They don't give a rats ass about the club. Jeff Shi et al will say all the right things to the right people at the right time. Where are they now. They couldn't stop chirping one time about the project etc.

We are only a money making business and any success will build their profile to increase their revenues. The day's of Jack Hayward and Walker are long gone.

So back to my original point about a new manager. Let's all get behind Nuno as this season will be his last.

5.) 07 Apr 2021 12:23:19
Its no good Wolves being a second half team; why is that? Its just not good enough. If Wolves lose on Friday then they will be in a relegation battle. No one had a good game against Fulham and Neto should have scored. The centre forwards are not good enough. Nuno is having a good run, other managers would have been sacked by now with Wolves results. I just hope that Wolves get 2 wins and then they will be safe but I have my doubts. I have tried to be postive but there too many players having a poor season. Wolves players are not gelling, why is that? Because they are not good enough!

6.) 07 Apr 2021 13:14:34
And still I'm yet to see a single name suggested?!

7.) 07 Apr 2021 13:49:42
BullysBoy, it's because they don't know. They are quick enough to chant OUT OUT OUT but never name a suitable replacement.

Personally I admit that this season could have gone better but no one could have predicted the injuries. I know people say we should havevhad a bigger squad but unless you are battling in numerous competitions like Man City etc, a number of players are just going to complain that they ain't playing. So let's leave Nuno alone and see what we do over the summer.

8.) 07 Apr 2021 14:17:00
I get behind nuno as I believe in him and fosun, never can I go along backing nuno as this his last season.
Jacket Lambert zegna are no comparison to nuno.
It wasn't that long ago fans were sure nuno was going to Arsenal now nuno out.

9.) 07 Apr 2021 14:42:58
Bullys now would be the wrong time for Nuno to go give him six games next season to see howe he dose Lopetegui was Fosuns first choice before he took the Spain job he may be an option.

10.) 07 Apr 2021 14:43:05
The usual Nuno out but with no offer of who would come in is surfacing again I see.

11.) 07 Apr 2021 15:06:09
Les buddy just to clarify I don't think we should sack Nuno. I do think he may walk come the end of the season but as yet I've not seen a manager suggested that would either be a) realistic or b) an improvement?! That's kind of the point I'm making Les, everyone's a crtic but moaning is easy. Constructive argument and ideas are far more challenging! 👍.

12.) 07 Apr 2021 15:44:09
I don't want Nuno to go Bullys just saying who might be an option if he did not having a moan mate just my opinion.

13.) 07 Apr 2021 17:03:25
Ah your golden Les buddy, least your points constructive fella. And I agree as it goes I wouldn't be surprised is Julen is still on Fosuns radar 👍.

14.) 07 Apr 2021 17:22:39
Cheers Bullys been a Wolves supporter 65yrs.

15.) 07 Apr 2021 17:43:34
I don't doubt it les buddy and I DO get that everyone just wants what's best for the club. Like I keep saying though for some on here it's just too easy to moan without offering anything really constructive on how it might be fixed (wasn't aimed at you Les to be honest buddy, in fact your the only post to at least suggest a name:)
We can all see its been a bad season on a number of fronts to be honest, Jonny is about the final straw with injuries for me. Just brutal! But what's the answer? Before this season we had one of the best medical records in the league so it's not as simple as just going 'sack um, sack um all'. Just seems to be too easy an answer for me, bring something to the table instead?! Tell us who you want and why you think they'd work? Like I've said I'm all ears but still silence? COYW 👍🐺.

Had enough of Nuno and this dross.
Surely Fosun need to act as their investment is going down the pan.
We will lose to Chorley next week, Mark my words.
Wolves never seem to get it right over a sustained period of time.
Yes we have injuries but all teams do.
It’s our managers decision to have a small squad and what a dreadful position it is putting us in.
Rant over!

1.) 17 Jan 2021 09:33:31
Upsets do happen in the cup, the pitch will be a great leveller, the underdogs will have to be on top of their game and hope the opposition don’t really believe they can win, with a favourable referee no VAR and the wind blowing in the right direction the form book could just be turned on its head, if we can drag them down to our level, score the four goals our team need to win a match then it might just come away with the right result, anything else is unimaginable, never thought Chorley away would be our biggest game ever, four days for Nuno to find his solutions.
