Rumours or wishful thinking by some Rated. Do we know the source, is it just speculation putting two and two together.
For me it would have to be from someone seriously in the know or Fosun themselves, but having said that given what they are doing it sounds plausible.

I’ve seen this, wolves 77 club have just been discussing it on their you tube channel and they are saying it’s clickbait
I would love it to be true though get some bored Saudi or American billionaire in with more money than sense
To be fair Jack the Ripper would be preferable to fosun at the minute

you should be careful what you wish for . jeff shi does his best every year . the club work within their means . they’ve given you the best years you could remember for 9 years, so try and be kind and think where you could have been . jeff does care, he loves the wolves and we love him for giving us those years .

Thanks for the post Rated.
I just find it hard to believe Shi would be given responsibility for something as important as our sale.
If Fosun have finally decided to move the Club on, here's hoping for a pro-active owner, who puts a CEO in charge with real executive powers.
Having only a "representative" in the role, with no real authority for the last few years, has been bad for the Fosun business and more importantly, us Fans!

If the club were to be sold the fact of the matter is whoever buys it is not a Wolves fan and will be in it for their own means. No different to now, but there are a lot of snakes. With PSR being a thing it would need to be an owner willing to invest at an infrastructure level to grow things. There aren't many good ones of those. There are many clubs who will tell you the grass isn't always greener.

Dejphon Chansiri is looking to buy the club.
Already has experience of running a club. Looking to sell his current club and then full take over of Wolves expected.
Fosun won't care who they sell to. The fans want them out so if something like this happens, then these same fans can't then blame Fosun.
The grass is not always greener on the other side.

Well that would be a roll of the dice, whoever comes in (if) is going to need to spend on the squad and stadium in addition to potentially the surrounding area infrastructure like Brady is planning at BCFC. It's a big ask if Fosun pitch at an unrealistic price as I suspect they will.

If we did get Jack the Ripper as a new owner I reckon all games would be on a knife edge!

I'd rather keep Fosun and have a new investor working alongside Fosun.
For all the grumbles the past few years they have backed us and kept us in the prem.
Also achieved things that we didn't think were possible 10 years ago with Premier league football, FA Cup runs and European football. Fans forget we missed out on consecutive European football due to an average Arsenal winning the FA Cup in 2020.
Also money has been available when we have struggled in January in 2023 and January 2025 and kept us with PSR.
We have also scored more goals than Nuno's tenure in 3 of the previous 5 seasons.
My gripe is that these rules can be flaunted by Everton, Forest, Leicester etc etc etc and the Premier League and FA have no power as its against competition law.
Also the links with Gestifute and Mendes are worth keeping we never really had a relationship with an advisor before Fosun and if we did it would have been British with different standard of players.
Fosun and Saudi would be class.
Maybe reduce the value of wolves to invest in Molineux over next 5 years. So the new investor increases there investment in the interim.
Then over 10 years new investor can take more control?

We also missed out because Mike Dean gave Burnley a penalty for hand ball that never was against Doherty otherwise we could have finished a place higher with more points from that game and not lost out on goal difference.

Arddunby, yes its a tongue in cheek comment. For every Villa, Forest, Chelsea etc there is a Sheff Weds, Morecambe, Derby and Reading.
