I like Nuno Ordinaryworldtree, tbh, I hope VP does well and we are not in need of a new manager.
Looks like Toti will retain his place, I am going for:-
Sa, Toti, Agbadou, Krejci, Bueno, Joao, Andre, Jackson or R. Gomes, Lopez, Tolu and Arias or R.Gomes. You can probably tell I am trying to get R. Gomes in, hope he doesn’t start with Hwang, not sure I want Toti in but think he will be, for now.

Ordinarywordtree. Have you forgotten the last season he was here?

You seem to be blaming Nuno for Jeff Shi and the clubs failings Wandering Star.

On Santo, he gave us 3 good years, our best for many years!
He will not return.
Another slant on his leaving, after the good years, Shi/Fosun refused to strengthen the squad to push on.
Result deteriorated, as squad and coaching staff became more and more frustrated.
He wanted out. Funny enough, like all is successors!
If today goes badly, I can see history repeating itself.

Not sure what you mean by today going badly, Rugeley. I fully expect to lose but not heavily. I think history will repeat itself in that we will yet again be in a relegation battle, (we already are!) one that I don’t think we will win. I think we will go down and actually I’m quite worried that it could be embarrassing this season and we will go down with a low points total. That’s my honest opinion, I hope I’m wrong of course and if I am then feel free to come back and point it out to me.

FirstThePoints. What makes you think I'm blaming Nuno for Shi's mistakes?

I'm blaming Nuno for that dire last season based on performances on the pitch.

If you think finishing 13th with Nuno with the restrictions imposed by Shi and the owners then you are deluded Wandering Star.

Dire last season when he won MOM in October after winning four games without conceding.
He wanted to push the club on to the next level and the club wouldn’t finance it so agreed to leave at the end of the season which had an adverse affect on the teams results.

So are you saying Wolves were progressing in that last season? Or were they staying at the same level, or getting worse. Regardless of what was happening behind the scenes, were you happy with the performances on the pitch? I wasn't and I know many other fans who weren't.

Do you want to comment on the other MAJOR factors that helped both the club and Nuno decide to part ways or just use the titbits of limited information written by journalists?

Hi 3G, for me, putting result to one side, I am looking for:
1. Players delivering the game plan
2. No lapses of individual concentration
3. Better pass completion %age
4. Less hesitation in final 3rd
5. Someone to step up as Leader
6. All working together
If those type of qualities don't show improvement, we will be in trouble (even more!)
